Who Is a Jew? According To Tanakh, Anyone Up To At Least A 16th Jewish

The Family of Manasseh (West)

14 The descendants of Manasseh: his Syrian concubine bore him Machir the father of Gilead, the father of Asriel.[e] 15 Machir took as his wife the sister of Huppim and Shuppim,[f] whose name was Maachah. The name of Gilead’s grandson[g]was Zelophehad,[h] but Zelophehad begot only daughters. 16 (Maachah the wife of Machir bore a son, and she called his name Peresh. The name of his brother was Sheresh, and his sons were Ulam and Rakem. 17 The son of Ulam was Bedan.) These were the descendants of Gilead the son of Machir, the son of Manasseh.
18 His sister Hammoleketh bore Ishhod, Abiezer, and Mahlah.
19 And the sons of Shemida were Ahian, Shechem, Likhi, and Aniam.

We can see that the following applies:

  1. Yitzchak (Fully Jewish, toshav l'habrit-- born of the covenant)
  2. Ya'akov v'Esav (Rivkah is a Hebrew but a gentile.)
  3. bnei-Yisra'el (Whose mothers are all gentile)
  4. Y'hudah takes Tamar; Yosef takes Asenat, etc.. Bnei-Y'hudah v'bnei-Yosef, and those in similar situations (e.g., Shaul HaBen-Simon v'HaKena'anit)
  5. Menashe took an Aramit as a wife and had Makhir, who was 1/16th Jewish.
Somewhere, though, I had gotten a 1/32nd or even 1/64th Jewish to be considered Jewish before. If any one of these is correct, please correct my 1/16th assumption.

Sometimes, I Get Pretty Raucous Ideas...

Is this one of those "'Bawdy' has never been so funny" ideas?

An Untitled Novel, Part 2

My mom's great-great-grandparents came across the Mexican border illegally in the 1900s. However, they-- unlike an interesting family who I once heard about-- did not decide to become Anusim to assimilate into Anti-Semitic America (I once asked my mom if our family did that. She said "No. I know what you're referring to, and I wouldn't be surprised if that family's story was more common than you think. But my great-grandparents remained haredim even at the risk of getting killed either in Poland or in America.").

Unlike that family, however (who became Anusim to try to avoid the pogroms, got kicked out of Poland by their families, and came to America as Anusim via Ellis Island), Mom's great-grandparents never once even thought about being Anusim either in Poland or in New York (where, like that family, they were intending to head but-- unlike that family-- stay)-- and they couldn't have been as convincing as that family, anyway; which is part of why pretending to be ethnic Poles and Catholics would've been hard for them.

And thanking G-d that they weren't caught by a Polish Catholic at the border (because who knows what they would've done then?), they had to deal with the Pole who caught them-- an ethnically-Jewish Pole who had become a naturalized American and an Immigration and Naturalization official, and happened to be stationed at the border when they were crossing it.

"Where are you from?" he asked in Yidish, being able to tell that they were fellow Jews.

"We are from Polinyah." they returned. Then they explained that they had first tried to make aliyah to Palestinian-occupied Yisra'el, deciding to follow the Zionist lead. But they were denied the opportunity to go "el Ha'Eretz" because they weren't haredi enough-- or maybe they were too haredi.

The fellow Jew understood; eventually helping them go through the immigration and naturalization process in Texas, then helping move them to Brooklyn in New York.

They remained haredim up to my mother's generation, and deliberately moved to haredi Northwest Baltimore when they moved. Then my mother moved out of the haredi community in Northwest Baltimore and met a New Yorker who was studying at Morgan State University-- my dad.

And that's when my mom's family were no longer haredim-- at least the generations since my mom's haven't been; and so far, my siblings and I are of the only generation that's proceeded from the Lewjes of Suwalki, Poland and Brookyln, New York.

Why I'm Not Running From Chapelgate Presbyterian Church, Even Though...

The pastor hates me. He's a real Anti Semite and hates that I confronted him over calling the Ark of the Covenant "a holy piece of furniture" and that I once mentioned on Facebook that Togarmah (Armenia) is mentioned in Ezekiel 38. But I didn't ask ol' Mike Khandjian whether a disabled, mixed-blooded Jew is welcome to Chapelgate or not. Meanwhile, I take that apology for confronting him back. The Ark of the Covenant is no piece of furniture.

I also didn't ask the rest of the congregation whether a disabled, mixed-blooded Jew and child of divorce with an abusive and estranged dad could stay. I was already forced to run when I was in elementary school from Christ Episcopal Church in Columbia, Maryland over a whole bunch of issues that I later found out about, though I knew that the former interim pastor Peter was homosexual and actively homosexual. I'm not running from another church.

And I'm a coward for caving in to some family pressure by saying Kaddish and not talking about Dad, Pop-Pop, etc.. I'm not caving in on Chapelgate Presbyterian Church.

Fear vs. Fear: Fear vs. Dread

My cousin Jeff Vazzo recently wrote "I Will Not Fear". What is fear? According to Jeff, "The "Church" tells us to fear god even when God is in us, around us and works through us. Fear is the unbelief." This is the negative type of fear, known as dread.

Often, especially since we are in Laodicea, we are given this message by the Church: "[']May the God of Avraham and also the god of Nachor, the god of their father, judge between us.[']" The NKJV incorrectly translated this as "[']The God of Abraham, the God of Nahor, and the God of their father judge between us.[']" Nachor and Terach feared the g-ds of Ur, even if they feared G-d at the same time. But remember that a man cannot righteously serve two g-ds at once.

Positive fear is what Jeff described as "God’s Son is my fortifying power." Ya'akov himself "swore by the Fear of his father Isaac" (The CJB reads, "But Ya'akov swore by the One his father Yitz'chak feared.").

Ya'akov even understood, "It is a fearful [that is, dreadful] thing to fall into the hands of the living God." Understanding the dreadful side of G-d, he confidently told Lavan, "['] If the God of my father, the God of Avraham, the one whom Yitz'chak fears, had not been on my side, by now you would certainly have already sent me away with nothing! God has seen how distressed I've been and how hard I've worked, and last night he passed judgment in my favor.[']"

So, Ya'akov understood both sides of the Fear of G-d. Ya'akov feared G-d and only G-d-- for the most part, anyway; though he did sometimes dread-- e.g., Esav and Lavan.

"For God will bring to judgment everything we do, including every secret, whether good or bad. [Here is the final conclusion, now that you have heard everything: fear God, and keep his mitzvot; this is what being human is all about.]"

What I Want For Christmas From My Blogger Audience, Especially Family...

  1. Comment on my posts. Please don't leave hate comments and similar types of comments (e.g., spam). You can agree to disagree with me respectfully, honestly, and intelligently, but not unfairly or unjustly.
  2. Contact me. I said Kaddish for Dad already; so he's met to me, and you have nothing to dread.
  3. Don't hold me to what Dad and the other metim, including Great-Grandma Gaydos, did.
  4. Share (e.g., Tweet, Facebook share) these posts.

Don't Let Legalistic Grinches Steal Christ-Mass, Chag Mashiach

"Stand fast therefore in the liberty by which Christ has made us free,[a] and do not be entangled again with a yoke of bondage." (Galtians 5:1, NKJV) If anyone gives you drek about Christmas (Chag Mashiach), Easter (Chag HaT'khiyah Mashiach), etc.; tell them to go do their homework and learn the actual origins, not the origins of what they were alternatives to.

Matters like this have "occurred because of false brethren secretly brought in (who came in by stealth to spy out our liberty which we have in Christ Jesus, that they might bring us into bondage), to whom we did not yield submission even for an hour, that the truth of the gospel might continue with you." (Galatians 2:4-5)

Dr. Conrad Murray: Prison Is Enough? Maybe Loing His License Was...

And since losing a license means no income, the taxpayers will be taking care if Dr. Murray, anyway. Prison or welfare? Either way, he'll end up on welfare. So, with Dr. Murray, Michael Jackson already picked his poison (since he was a druggie, anyway). We may as well pick ours-- and not prison. Losing a license was enough for Dr. Murray.

Two Take-Home Essays For Corrections And a Sidenote

"What is 'corrections'?" is the descrpitive/informative essay. Reflecting on my experience in the Introductions to Corrections class is the obvious reflective essay. The descriptive essay will require some review. The reflective will not. I'm going to be frank about Dr. Traurig and what a macher he is, how I still stand by that Torah was the first lex talions, weirgild, and punishment to fit the crime, etc.. I'm going to tell how I didn't like that, for one matter, his language wasn't that of a doctorate scholar. I'm also going to state that I didn't like how he mocked religious belief, etc..

As for the sidenote: most or all of the views from Columbia, Maryland on my Feedjit feed are mine. I go to Howard Community College for the time being, and the browsers aren't automatically set up (unlike at home) to ignore my own views of my blog.

When Legalism Sprouts Up The Most

I notice that Halloween, Thanksgiving, Christmas, and Easter are the times when legalism sprouts up the most; all because of what each originally historically coincided with and were in fact meant to be alternatives to-- the Celtic Pagan Fall Harvest, the believed-to-be Sukkot celebration of the Puritans gone wrong and long left un-recelebrated, the Greco-Roman Winter Solstice, and the likewise Spring Solstice.

The Early Church created Christmas as 'Am Yisra'el created Hanukah, both to counter the Winter Solstice. The Early Church also created Halloween and Easter to counter the Celtic Pagan Fall Harvest and Greco-Roman Pagan Spring Solstice.

Thanksgiving is another discussion.

Don't let P'rushim and other legalists streal your freedom to observe alternative-to-paganism, Christ-centered mo'edim v'chagim.

Are Christmas and Hanukkah Pagan? The Answer Is, Based On History and Other Factors...

Christmas and Hanukkah are both not pagan, and were actually created as alternatives to (respectively) the Winter Solstice and a Greek Pagan holiday. Google "Is Hanukkah pagan?", by the way. I once did after someone asserted that it may be or is. I was shocked.

Anyway, Christmas was originally "Christ-mass" or Chag Mashiach, created as an alternative by the Early Church to the pagan Winter Solstice and coinciding pagan holidays. Similarly, Hanukkah-- thought by some to be a late celebration of Sukkot-- was created to replace the celebration of the desecration of the Temple and a dedication to a pagan god. Some Hellinized and other Jews would only go so far in terms of Hellenization and toleration thereof, and would certainly not accept the Temple being destroyed.

Therefore, we have two Winter mo'edim v'chagim which are alternatives to Greco-Roman Pagan holidays.

I Want Dad, Pop-Pop, and Certain Others To Know That They're Dead To Me Until...

They do teshuvah for the pain, hurt, etc. that they've caused themselves and others by denying and/or defending Great-Grandma Gaydos' kapoesque behavior; Great-Grandma Czarnecki's second-degree, murder-malice murder at the hands of Pop-Pop, the pain that they've caused me, Aunt Mary, etc.. To let Dad know that I said the Kaddish for him is the right thing to do. I've only gone not so far as to mark him as deceased on the family tree on Ancestry-- and any other Jew who was in my position may well have done that after saying Kaddish.

So, Dad, Pop-Pop, Janet Rozzi, Grandma, and others (You know who you are.), you are dead to me and in the same company as Great-Grandma Gaydos; as well as viewed by me as Great-Great-Granddad Rusnak's parents were viewed by Yoshua Rusnak-- dead, gone, metim.

I'm Going To Rest the Family Matters With This Much...

If you'd prefer kisses of an enemy over faithful wounds of a friend, you'll have to deal with continuing the inquity of past generations down to the next generation; and when the pieces fall, who knows if I'll be there to help pick them up?

I might be dead; I might be there but not want to help you; I may've wiped you all together out of my concious memory. You don't know what tomorrow, even the next yoctosecond, holds -- look what happened to Patrice O'Neal.

If and when you're ready to talk like Great-Grandma Czarnecki was, I can't guarantee that I'll be there; but G-d will be there.

David Mamet vs. The Anonymous Reform Jew: Who's Right?

David Mamet asserts:

"Any conflict may be stilled by surrender. Reform Judaism, for reasons good or bad, but which, I am sure, seemed good to its various practitioners at the time of implementation, abandoned Yiddish, Hebrew, the Talmud, kashrut, ritual, the Eastern European Jews and currently toys with condemnation of its co-religionaries in Israel. In order to defend what?

"After all the compromises have been made, and the conflict persists, and the will of the people has been broken by a lazy reversion to “the truth must lie somewhere in between,” what remains but the destruction of the Jews?"

The anonymous Reform Jew responds:

"David Mamet’s recent, meandering tirade demands a response, even if cogency permits only a partial rejoinder. So, I will limit myself to where he begins and I where I “live,” with the Reform Movement.

"He accuses Reform Judaism of categorically surrendering “Hebrew, the Talmud, kashrut, ritual, the Eastern European Jews, and currently toys with condemnation of its co-religionaries in Israel.” Thence, Mr. Mamet connects the Reform Movement to anti-Israel sentiment located on a spectrum that spans naïveté and, implicitly, self-hatred.

"In the end, his condemnation avoids facts and invokes, in their stead, inapposite truisms. If “Napoleon taught us the logical end of purely defensive warfare is surrender,” Mamet has yet to demonstrate that Reform Judaism does indeed surrender. He omits the evidence, because it contradicts his argument."

Who's right? The answer is: David Mamet. The anonymous Reform Jew concedes:

"In ritual and halakhic terms, Mr. Mamet offers nothing more than an anachronistic caricature, and in so doing, debases the Jewish communal conversation. Hebrew is a staple in Reform services, as is the millennial tradition of mutual aid. In theory, we are more flexible on matters of halakha than other non-Orthodox movements, but it’s not clear to me that our practice differs all that much. Shabbat services in Reform synagogues are lively affairs. Torah study for adults and religious schools for children flourish, and Reform Jews’ connectedness to Judaism—traditional and progressive—thickens day by day.

"As for our condemnation of fellow Jews in Israel: It is true that we will condemn someone for gratuitous violence, as we did in response to the recent arson attack on an Israeli mosque. And it is true that we will argue with fellow Jews for much less. But Mr. Mamet chooses to overlook the crucial fact that we argue with our coreligionists and, I trust, they requite le-shem shamayim, for the sake of heaven. We struggle with God Himself for the same purpose, namely, to work out the relationship between the sanctity of our Covenant, on the one hand, and the messy frailty of our worldly experience, on the other. Reform Judaism will not apologize for willingly, zealously engaging in that struggle, including both its traditional and modern aspects.

"
For the sake of that argument, allow me to concede that it is true that in the nineteenth century, the Reform Movement did begin to take major steps in distancing itself from traditional forms of Judaism. It is also true that a large part of the American Reform Movement was non- or anti-Zionist leading up to 1948. For that very reason, Stephen S. Wise created a Reform alternative, known as the Jewish Institute of Religion, an avowedly Zionist academy. Following Israeli independence, the Hebrew Union College merged with the Jewish Institute of Religion, embracing its Zionism."

In conclusion, David Mamet pegged Reform Judaism well.
David Mamet well concludes:

"We are enjoined, “Justice, justice shall you pursue.”

"The question, “What is justice,” is the eternal question of the Jew. The answer, “It is what my group tells me,” is not the Jewish answer."

Reform Judaism goes with URJ, CCAR, and other helping-to-serve-self thinking instead of with Tanakh. Tanakh gives three options--
all 613 mitzvot, Yeshua, or a whole host of tsuris. And Reform Judaism, being Non Messianic, does not have the option to skip any of the 613 mitzvot -- including supporting Yisra'el.

What Women’s Prison Taught Me— Why the Death Penalty and Vigilante Justice Should Return

A woman sees a family friend molest her nephew, walks away to obtain a gun, and shoot her nephew’s molester. She sits in the Maryland Corrections Institution for Women in Jessup to serve a life sentence for first-degree murder. Another woman sits there for another offense; and at 27 years of age with three children of her own, she remembers when she was a child of 11 years of age. She remembers her 11th year particularly well because that’s when her mother began prostituting her off, injecting her with heroin, and sending her down a bad path.

What keeps a vigilante aunt who tried to protect her sister’s son and a pimped-by-her-mother junkie at the MCIJ in Jessup? Coker v. Georgia (1977) and Kennedy v. Louisiana (2008). A family and child defender becomes a murderer, and a pimp and drugging-her-child druggie gets left unprosecuted— and her daughter has to take the brunt of what her mother actually effected (not affected in this case, but effected) her to do.

As I stated on Geraldo Rivera’s Facebook page regarding Bernie Fine, the fired Syracuse coach, “We have a wonderful Supreme Court, don't we? (Sarcasm) "Coker" (1977) and "Kennedy" (2008) ruined any chance to put child rapists and general rapists to death, which is why our country's in huge trouble. There were actually morals— or so morals seemed to exist— once.”

Coker and Kennedy need to be overturned immediately. A woman needs to be able to protect her molested nephew and other potential one-time— as well as repeat— molestation victims. As for any mother who pimps off and drugs any child for any reason, she needs to meet the same fate as I and others say that Bernie Fine— and Bernie Fine’s wife, and not to mention Jerry Sandusky— should meet.

“Woe to those who call evil good, and good evil; Who put darkness for light, and light for darkness; Who put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter! Woe to those who are wise in their own eyes,  And prudent in their own sight! Woe to men mighty at drinking wine, Woe to men valiant for mixing intoxicating drink, Who justify the wicked for a bribe, And take away justice from the righteous man!”[1]

The Supreme Court will be judged for putting a loving aunt and a victimized girl in prison by way of implementation and sustainment of Coker and Kennedy— but sadly, so will Maryland and the rest of the United States, the “One Nation Under G-d”:

“Therefore you shall say to them, ‘Thus says the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel: “Drink, be drunk, and vomit! Fall and rise no more, because of the sword which I will send among you.”’ And it shall be, if they refuse to take the cup from your hand to drink, then you shall say to them, ‘Thus says the LORD of hosts: “You shall certainly drink! For behold, I begin to bring calamity on the city which is called by My name, and should you be utterly unpunished? You shall not be unpunished, for I will call for a sword on all the inhabitants of the earth,” says the LORD of hosts.’

“Therefore prophesy against them all these words, and say to them: ‘ The LORD will roar from on high, And utter His voice from His holy habitation; He will roar mightily against His fold.  He will give a shout, as those who tread the grapes, Against all the inhabitants of the earth.  A noise will come to the ends of the earth— For the LORD has a controversy with the nations; He will plead His case with all flesh. He will give those who are wicked to the sword,’ says the LORD.”[2]

And Here Comes the Mark Off on My Project (Surprise; Surprise...)

Many people seeing this have already heard about me via Jack and Greg Czarnecki (Thanks for getting my project marked off, you two. You've said that you read this blog; and I know that you're snidly reading this and seeing how else your estranged granddaughter and daughter can fail all the more.). I already acknowledge that I'm the pariah of the family-- from getting defriending because I brought up (according to them, chalilah!) our Jewish heritage, Great-Grandma Gaydos' kapoesque behavior, that Jack Feldman and so many of the rest of us are sick because we and our ancestors did not eat kashrut; to getting no family pictures (without figuratively twisting arms, anyway; and not getting any more since), no justice for Great-Grandma Czarnecki, and no good repute among many.

"Turn in your project using the 31 observations or as many as you can get." In other words; do what you can, but I'll still mark you off (She marked me off when I couldn't get other votes before.). So I try and I fail, thanks partly to a murderer and his like-dad-like-son progeny who have influence in the family, in the government (since Pop-Pop was not only an IRS Agent, but also a volunteer for the Ann Arundel County Courts), and otherwise.

I know why many of my family didn't vote on the project. "Oh; don't help her. She's only doing this for [whatever other reason besides a Stats project]."; "She'll use this and your information against you."; etc. I know how my family works; believe me-- I was more than just born into the family.

The Pariah Part Was Not a Ploy For My Project; The Project Only Showed Me Again What A Pariah I Am...

I can't even get a response from my professor for an extension when I had to be out for two classes for Criminal Justice field trips-- that's bad news. I wasn't was absolutely not kidding about the pariah part, meanwhile. I've seen these other kids get 10,000, 20,000, more votes than I could get in years; and I know it's because I'm a damned pariah.

"Oh G-d; Oh My G-d; Jack Czarnecki's granddaughter."

"Jesus Christ; it's that Nickidewbear, etc.".

My own cousin  Marcela J. "Mia" Danilowicz called me a "fucking psycho", too. I know the deal. I can't get help even on a Stats project because I'm the one YouTuber, Facebook, Tweeter, family member, etc. that quite a few people would love to strangle if they could get away with it. I'm not stupid to that even other relatives and others are friends with me only because they feel obligated for whatever reason to be.

And yet, people think that I'm so damned stupid.

Maybe If I Were As Famous As Krystal Keith, I Could Get My Stats Project Done...

A little wry and self-depreciating humor. I still can't get the 50 votes that I need for today/tomorrow (Kislev 3/November 29). Besides, I was signed up for Statistics by my mom (Not that I had a choice, anyway.). If I wanted to be a mathematician or pollster, I would've majored in Math or Math with a Concentration in Statistics and Political Science.

But I've seen where other Stats students get over 1,000 votes for their Stats projects, and they're not even famous. Why can't I get at least 50 votes? I failed my first project because I couldn't get the 20 votes needed then. As I said, maybe if I were as famous as Krystal Keith, I could get my Stats project done...

She has a famous dad and has had a privileged life, though; and is part of why people find my blog, anyway. Me, I've had a thorn-in-the-flesh life and an infamous granddad-- anyone who knows or at least knows about Jack Czarnecki either considers me a pariah or wants to strangle him and me alike (I get the blame for exposing Pop-Pop for being a Self-Hating Jew who had hutzpah to serve tax papers to Richard Nixon while hiding his Jewishness, and then later murder his Jewish mother. Isn't that nice?).

Count your blessings, Krystal Keith-- and don't become like your dad, please. I used to be a fan of his until he went down that "Stays In Mexico", "White Trash With Money", and "Red Solo Cup" road. And please be actually "country as cornbread" as your dad says that you are-- not what he considers "country" nowadays.

Do I Look Like I Like Touting My Stats Project? But I Thought That Social Media Was More Powerful, Anyway...

So, porque tu no me ayudas con mi proyecto de matematicas? I'm even appealing to fellow Hispanophones here (y no que hablo espanol bien, pero...). Here's the project:

  • Your part of the project-- you help me get at least 50 votes. All you have to do is vote on "How will/did you spend Thanksgiving?"

  • My part:

Project 3

MATH-138: Project #3

Do the following (in order):

1) Obtain some quantitative data (with at least 50 observations) and treat this data as your “population”. In your project write-up, explain what your data represents.

2) Without calculating the population mean of your data, guess what the mean is (and record your guess). It is okay if your guess is “bad”.

3) Calculate the population mean of your data

4) Randomly sample 15 observations from your population. You must explain how you did this sampling and record your results (i.e. your sampled observations)

5) Calculate the sample mean

6) Build confidence intervals around your sample mean with the following levels of confidence: 80%, 90%, 95%, 99%. Which intervals (if any) actually contain the population mean (gotten in Step #3)?

7) Perform 2-sided hypothesis tests that the population mean equals your guess from Step #2 using the following alpha levels: 0.20, 0.10, 0.05, 0.01. Note that your hypotheses, test statistic and P-value will stay the same for each test (therefore, you only need to write these down once). However, your conclusion might change from test to test.

8) Did any of your tests result in a Type I error? If so, which tests?

Write all this up in a report that is clear, concise, neat, and typed. Include your population and sample data in tables at the end of your write-up.

Por favor tu me ayude con eso proyecto. Please help me with this project. I'm trying to get random voters from Facebook, Twitter, etc.; the United States, m'Ha'Eretz Yisra'el, del Estado de Mexico, and everywhere else. Even if you didn't celebrate Thanksgiving, just vote "Other" or whatever else.

When Reform Judaism Puts Messianic Judaism to Shame, As Yeshuat Yisrael Messianic Congregation Could Exemplify

Amein, Yeshuat Yisrael: "Live a Godly lifestyle where the MESSIAH IS CENTER and the Torah is principle. The Torah is totally holy, but we are under no obligation to keep it. We are free to keep the biblical (still biblical) precepts of scripture. The key is individual freedom, not corporate legislative legalism. Messianic believers must hold firm that the Brit Chadasha is a very Jewish book and... the most Jewish thing that anyone could do is to follow the Jewish Messiah Yeshua. God offers a free gift that can not be obtained at the local rabbinic synagogue."

And isn't that Non-Messianic Reform Jews get that "We are free to keep the biblical (still biblical) precepts of scripture..." while many Messianic Jews do not sad? "The key is individual freedom, not corporate legislative legalism." The key is indeed what will bring more sanctity, as Reform Judaism echoes Romans 14 on. "As for practice, it strongly recommends individual study of the traditional practices; however, the adherent is free to follow only those practices that increase the sanctity of their relationship to G-d."

As for Romans 14, read it for yourself. Go right to Bible Gateway or Bible Study tools. I'm not doing the work for you.

Avraham Kept Torah shel Brit Chadashah

I may lose friends over this (aI have already lost at least one Facebook friend-- and she fooled me twice, anyway; shame on me for ever reconfirming her as a friend); but Tanakh is indisputably clear that one can keep either all 613 mitzvot-- which, since a Temple no longer stands, are impossible to keep-- or Brit Chadashah, which Avraham himself kept (cf. Bereshit 15:6). For:

eternal life to those who by patient continuance in doing good seek for glory, honor, and immortality; but to those who are self-seeking and do not obey the ...truth, but obey unrighteousness—indignation and wrath, tribulation and anguish, on every soul of man who does evil, of the Jew first and also of the Greek; but glory, honor, and peace to everyone who works what is good, to the Jew first and also to the Greek. For there is no partiality with God.
For as many as have sinned without law will also perish without law, and as many as have sinned in the law will be judged by the law (for not the hearers of the law are just in the sight of God, but the doers of the law will be justified; for when Gentiles, who do not have the law, by nature do the things in the law, these, although not having the law, are a law to themselves, who show the work of the law written in their hearts, their conscience also bearing witness, and between themselves their thoughts accusing or else excusing them) in the day when God will judge the secrets of men by Jesus Christ, according to my gospel [cf. Galatians 1:6-12].
By the way, I certainly won't allow gerim to ever come in and tell Jews like me that we have to keep a Torah that even Avraham couldn't have kept, anyway (He cheated with Hagar, remember?) and that Moshe couldn't keep (since he struck the rock and was not allowed to be b'Eretz Yisra'el). I'll also give Reform and other Non-Messianic Jews this: they run into many "Meshichim" P'rushim and think, "Well, gee; why leave Judaism and come to Yeshua if Messianic Judaism is no different? What's the point of being under grace if we still have to keep all 613 mitzvot? Really; even Reform Judaism works better for me."
They even say, " As for practice, it strongly recommends individual study of the traditional practices; however, the adherent is free to follow only those practices that increase the sanctity of their relationship to G-d. Reform also stresses equality between the sexes." This echos Romim (Romans) 14.

How This Girl Looks Scarily Like Geraldo Rivera's Youngest Daughter Is Amazing

From Midlife Singlemum's publicly-shared blog

If I didn't know better, I'd say that she is Sol; and I actually even wondered if she is Sol when I first saw the picture of her on Faceshuk. I wondered if she is Sol from a long time ago, if the picture is of Sol from a long time ago. I even wonder if Geraldo's the IVF donor and he doesn't know it-- she could be Sol's long-lost sister or (if I didn't know better) twin.

Moshe Looked To Torah Shel Brit Chadashah, and Legalistic "Messianic Judaism" Is Not Jewish

"Now the LORD spoke to Moses, saying, “Speak to the children of Israel, saying: ‘If a person sins unintentionally against any of the commandments of the LORD in anything which ought not to be done, and does any of them, if the anointed priest sins, bringing guilt on the people, then let him offer to the LORD for his sin which he has sinned a young bull without blemish as a sin offering..."

Those who insist on keeping all 613 mitzvot make the blood worthless ("For it is impossible for those who...fall away, to renew them again to repentance, since they crucify again for themselves the Son of God, and put Him to an open shame.", as Hebrews 6 partly reads.). They like to play pick-and-choose mitzvot while under grace, since they cannot possibly go to the Temple and offer a korban l'kippur.

Besides, "the law, having a shadow of the good things to come, and not the very image of the things, can never with these same sacrifices, which they offer continually year by year, make those who approach perfect. For then would they not have ceased to be offered? For the worshipers, once purified, would have had no more consciousness of sins. But in those sacrifices there is a reminder of sins every year. For it is not possible that the blood of bulls and goats could take away sins.", as Hebrews 10 partly reads.

To advocate that keeping all 613 mitzvot while under grace is a mitzvah, is a sin. Legalism is sin, and "if we sin willfully after we have received the knowledge of the truth, there no longer remains a sacrifice for sins, but a certain fearful expectation of judgment, and fiery indignation which will devour the adversaries. Anyone who has rejected Moses’ law dies without mercy on the testimony of two or three witnesses. Of how much worse punishment, do you suppose, will he be thought worthy who has trampled the Son of God underfoot, counted the blood of the covenant by which he was sanctified a common thing, and insulted the Spirit of grace?"

So Kislev 1, 5771 is Today, And...

Firstly, Nehemia Gordon saw HaChodesh l'Kislev b'Yerushalayim today; so November 26, 2011 marks Kislev 1, 5771. Secondly, I can start marking the Yom b'Ivri on my political cartoons if and once I pick them up again in the morning (I've been busy, depressed, etc. of late; and the last political cartoon that I did was before Thanksgiving.). Thirdly, I still have no new cell phone or enough votes on my Stats project, and I have other things to get and do besides my Stats project.

To the compassionless (including the compassionless disabled people) who tell me to take my lemons and make them into lemonade; you have no idea of what having Diplegic Spastia Cerebral Palsy with OCD/Anxiety/Depression/possible Aspberger's, a house with a divorced-and-working mom and much of a meshuge mispoche on my unsupportive and estranged dad's side, and a whole bunch of other thorns in the flesh and hardships in life to deal with is like.

Even sexual abuse victims get some sympathy and compassion-- even jail and prison inmates hate sexual criminals. Me, I walk well enough for everybody; I talk well enough for everybody, and I seem to deal with enough well enough for everybody; so I walk and talk alone-- or mostly alone, even among friends and family. I'm not piteous or in need of compassion enough for them to help me with what I have on my plate.

Chalilah that they should touch the Jew with Cerebral Palsy, crazy Crypto-Jewish grandparents, and a whole host of other matters and people to deal with. Chalilah for some of them that they should deal with a Messianic Jew.

So I walk alone-- and sometimes or even often worse than rejected by G-d and man alike.

My Little Head Still Can't Fully Process That I'm Jewish...

At least with me being Spanish, the "Dark Irish" lie had been told only to Granddaddy and perhaps Granduncle Steve-- Grandaunt Bern knows that we're Spanish, and the Census Record would've proved that we're Spanish, anyway:

Alice Marie Reilly Allen fue mi bisabuela.

But the Chernetskis-- they pulled a good one. I mean, Nana Allen pulled a good one on Granddaddy, too; but c'mon-- to convince me that we were Polish-Lithuanian and Czechoslovakian Catholics was pretty good. Had I not begun doing the family research, I would've never found out that we are Jewish-- and of course Pop-Pop, Grandma, and others aren't happy that I found out.

To this day, my little head still can't fully process that I'm Jewish. But after 17-18 years of living under the illusion that I'm a Polish-Lithuanian-Czechoslovakian Catholic, does that I'm an Ashkenazic Jew with imot v'avot born as Yehudim v'Anusim Yehudim in Poland Russia, Ukrainian-Polish Russia, Slovakian-Hungarian and Slovakian-Polish Austria Hungary seem easy to process? Besides, especially the Chernetskis et. al. tried to pull fast ones with the Ellis Island and other port, Naturalization, and other officials.

Of course, for example, traveling as a single woman with a fellow Yehudit who has children will give right away that you're a Yehudit-- goyim and Yehudim didn't travel together back then, especially if a Yehudit ishah had children who the goy or goyah could easily hurt along with their ima. By the way, there is at least one Ivrit woman specified here, so to tell which one she was travelling with is hard. Both had under-21-years family members. There's also another Ivrit woman listed on the next page. There are at least three under-21 Ivrim, so there likely had to be other Yehudiot on the ship.

I Know That Shabbat's Today & That I'm Not To Hold A Grudge, But...

Since "Marcela" is trending on Twitter, I'm going to take the opportunity to remind everybody why my cousin Marcela J. "Mia" Danilowicz needs to be boycotted. By the way I didn't even write that Pop-Pop is a murderer when I mentioned him as being related to us; and as I've said, all I did was say that he was an IRS Agent who served tax papers to Nixon (which is true) and that Marcela's our cousin and a fashion designer (which is true).

I forgive and don't begrudge, but I don't pretend that the incident never happened or make the incident a repressed memory or memory to be wiped out of my memory bank. Besides, those posts promoted Mia and said that we're also not related to that Anti Semite Stefan Czarniecki-- and I'm a "fucking psycho"?

I'm not supporting or promoting anyone-- especially any family member-- who treats me and others like crap, and who threatens frivolous and unnecessary legal action against someone. By the way, using a lawyer as a threat is not cool-- our legal system is clogged up enough and has real problems to deal with.

How Are We Related?
My understanding (given your last name) is that we're related through my great-granddad Czarn(i)ecki's paternal grandmother, Katarzyna Danilowicza Czarniecka. But I'm wondering how we're specifically related through her or her family line. In other words, are we both descended from her (meaning we'd be x-degree cousins or x-times-removed cousins, like 4th or 4-times-removed cousins) or descended from her dad or granddad (meaning we'd be like 5th or five-times-removed cousins)?
I understand that you've seen that I'm looking for Danilowicz, Czarniecki, et. al. relatives (which is why you added me as a friend?); and I'm just trying to (if you will) connect the dots, and I honestly thought that my chances of connecting with a Danilowicz, or Czarniecki, or other cousin who's from or even still over in Poland were probably little to none (especially at this point).
By the way, correct me if any of my understanding is wrong and/or totally missing the mark. Thanks.

Hi you need to delete my name from all of the posts you made on urban dictionary, I cannot have anything like that on the Internet because of work, please do it now or I will contact urban dictionary and my lawyer.

Nicole Czarnecki

There's no way that I can delete those posts-- I tried to, but I can't. I, with all due respect, see no reason to contact your lawyer. However, I can see reasons for you to contact Urban Dictionary.

Thank you for letting me know about the consequences of the posts ahead of time before any adverse action was taken.

Marcela J. Danilowicz

Why did you write these posts. You are fucking psycho.

If you feel that way, then you shouldn't have added me as a friend or acknowledged me as a relative in the first. Also, everything that I wrote is true to the best of my knowledge.

Anytime That The Romanian Wants To Cover "Mockingbird", I'm Ready...

He can just send me his part of the cover, and I'll record my part based on his. Whether he's doing Toby's or Krystal's part is on what I'll have to base which part I do. We can't be doing the same part. By the way, I'd prefer that we do the cover in G-C-D.

Every Time That I See "A Christmas Story" and Ralphie Beats Up Farcus...

I cry for Ralphie, especially when he's crying while looking his mother in the face and facing what happened. The year is 1940, and Ralphie is nine years of age at the time (meaning that he was born in 1931; almost a half-decade after my mom's mom, and a half-decade before my dad's parents). Ralphie is part of the infamous Silent Generation; in which abuse is either tolerated and even encouraged, or just plain not talked about. By the way, I'm quite sure that Joe Paterno has had the "Silent Generation" excuse used for him-- after all, he grew up in the "You don't talk about it" culture.

Having gone through abuse myself and hearing of a cousin's work in which she has to deal with horrendous cases of abuse, I can relate to Ralphie. That Farcus is just a plain old bully isn't the case, but Farcus' situation (obvious abuse-- perhaps neglect being the full, but still painful, extent) isn't an excuse for him to pick on and abuse Ralphie. Ralphie is an obvious target for Farcus because (from all outward appearances, such as to Farcus' eyes), Ralphie seems to come from an intact and good family (He doesn't. His dad isn't exactly Husband or Dad of the Year.).

As the saying goes, "Abuse begets abuse" and (as Dr. Sandy Wilson put the saying in other words) "Hurt people hurt people." The saying is based on-- besides common sense-- direct-from-the-Bible admonitions:

12 Blessed is the man who endures temptation; for when he has been approved, he will receive the crown of life which the Lord has promised to those who love Him. 13 Let no one say when he is tempted, “I am tempted by God”; for God cannot be tempted by evil, nor does He Himself tempt anyone. 14 But each one is tempted when he is drawn away by his own desires and enticed. 15 Then, when desire has conceived, it gives birth to sin; and sin, when it is full-grown, brings forth death.

The desire to hurt others because of being hurt is a strong desire. Then the desire to hurt others affects that others are hurt. Then the hurting of others brings forth that more people want to hurt other people.

By the way, be thankful if you have been abused:

9 Let the lowly brother glory in his exaltation, 10 but the rich in his humiliation, because as a flower of the field he will pass away. 11 For no sooner has the sun risen with a burning heat than it withers the grass; its flower falls, and its beautiful appearance perishes. So the rich man also will fade away in his pursuits.

Those who have not known the richness of suffering do not know the richness of hope-- "Let the lowly brother glory in his exaltation". Anybody who has been free of suffering will have no reason to hope for something better than suffering, for redemption, and for salvation.

Happy Thanksgiving and Merry Christmas (And this Yehudit celebrates both Thanksgiving-- Yom L'Toda-- and Christmas-- Chag Mashiach.).

Please Help Me With This Stats Project-- And Relatives, Contact Me

First, to the relatives: that I know that our family is meshuga is pretty obvious. I hope that Mia, Pop-Pop, Janet Rozzi, and a whole bunch of others will someday apologize for-- among other things-- not acknowledging our Jewish heritage, and for thinking that kapoesque (i.e., Great-Grandma Gaydos') acts and murderous (i.e., Pop-Pop's) acts are okay to cover up and even defend once found out about.

And Janet, I still don't care that the times were different-- that excuse didn't and doesn't fly. Many relatives died in the Shoah because of your endeared "Grandma"'s actions. I also still maintain that were Jack Feldman and Dad eating kosher as their Jewish digestive systems were made for them to do, they could manage their Chron's without even hospital visits such as Jack endured. I do considerably well with my Irritable Bowel Syndrome because I eat almost-always kosher.

And with all due respect to Great-Grandaunt Aggie and Great-Granduncle Andy, their straying from Andy Rusnak's and Julia Fosko Rusnak's (or at least their Rusnak and Fosko ancestors') paths of keeping kosher set off their Alzheimeric proclivities-- Jewish systems, no mater how much we like it, weren't made to eat treif. By the way, from what I can see in the "Rusnak Roots" cookbook,  Great-Grandaunt Aggie's and Great-Granduncle Andy's generation (which is the Fosko-Rusnak children's generation) are who began straying from keeping kosher.

As for my Stats project (and if Janet and any of the rest of Dad's family who hate me help out, I'll be surprised), please answer "How will/did you spend Thanksgiving?". I answered "With family" (my mom's family, not my dad's-- especially those who hate me). I need at least 49 more people to answer. And some people will be answering after Thanksgiving or perhaps celebrated Thanksgiving early, so I included "did... spend Thanksgiving".

Happy and Kosher Thanksgiving. And for my relatives who want to contact me and talk about anything that I've said re the family or anyone or anything else, send me an e-mail. I can even take hate e-mail-- as I've said, I'm used to family hating me.

More URJ Arrogance: A Real Reform BA'AL Teshuvah Alright...

Richard Furman has hutzpah to be saying the following. Why did Moshe address the men, by the way? Moshe addressed primarily the men with He said to the people "'Be ready for three days, don’t go near a woman.'" The Ivri men and women understood this as that the men were not to have sexual relations with the women (and vice versa) during Hayamim L'Kiddush. And the ishim, being the roshim l'ishot, had to be addressed. Moshe was not being chauvinistic or "not do[ing] all of what he was told".

The moment of the revelation at Sinai is a curious moment; It begins with our text telling us how God tells Moses to prepare the Israelites:

God said to Moses “Go to the people and sanctify them today and tomorrow; they shall wash their clothes. They shall be ready on the third day, for on the third day Adonai will descend before the eyes of all the whole nation upon Mount Sinai.”(Ex. 19:10-11)

The actual delivery of this message is rather different:

וַיֵּרֶד מֹשֶׁה מִן־הָהָר אֶל־הָעָם וַיְקַדֵּשׁ אֶת־הָעָם וַֽיְכַבְּסוּ שִׂמְלֹתָֽם: וַיֹּאמֶר אֶל־הָעָם הֱיוּ נְכֹנִים לִשְׁלשֶׁת יָמִים אַֽל־תִּגְּשׁוּ אֶל־אִשָּֽׁה:(שם, י"ד-ט"ו)

Moses descended from the mountain to the people. He sanctified the people and they washed their clothing. He said to the people “Be ready for three days, don’t go near a woman.”(Ibid, 14-19)

That Moses here is injecting a misogyny into the moment that God did not command is noted by Ellen Frankel in the Five Books of Miriam (117-118). Indeed, even the קול סתם, the narrative voice of Torah, tells us that Moses addresses “העםwhereas God told him to address "כל־העם", thus suggesting that Moses did not do all of what he was told. The injection of that misogyny, however, is not the main problem with this disparity, but rather that the change took place at all. This introduces the fundamental problem of mediated experience: the mediator necessarily changes the message.

Sometimes, I'm Lonelier When I'm Not Alone (As the Saying Goes)...

I have a mom who agrees with Rep. Michelle Bachmann's irresponsible comment that "Congress has more important things to pay attention to" re Penn State and Jerry Sandusky, a sister who'll vote for Ron Paul, and a whole bunch of friends and acquaintances (and other loved ones) who don't know half of the backstory of what I've been through. Then I have insensitive people-- disabled and non disabled alike-- telling me to make lemonade out of the lemons which life has given me. So, they can get and have the juicer, or can peel and squeeze the lemons-- good for them.

And you wonder why I haven't-- albeit selfishly-- been tempted to commit suicide?

I Think That Some Relatives May Be Reading This Blog & Still Won't Contact Me....

I honestly don't bite-- if I don't need to bite, that is. But I bite and fight pretty fairly. I'm not perfect; but I do love and am thankful for my family, even if they don't love and be thankful for me. "Faithful are the wounds of a friend, But the kisses of an enemy are deceitful."

Great-Grandma Czarnecki was thankful for even the son who intended to rid of her in the most painful way possible-- in a cold hospital with her leg amputated and almost thrown away when she was already dying and wanted to die at home. That's why she "want[ed] to talk about it" to Aunt Mary-- she loved us enough to do that for Aunt Mary and the rest of us (including her great-great-granddaughter Brianna, who was yet to be born at the time. She loved Madison, too; but considered her a step-great-great-granddaughter, as Madison really only is-- through no fault of her own; but she's only Dad's step-- not his biological-- granddaughter, and she'll always be so far.).

As I said on Facebook last night (and after a distant cousin revealed that he's part of one of the crazy branches as well, and to the point where he will take the name of any woman who he will marry), I-- like Great-Grandma did-- talk about our family because I care enough to see our family history exposed to and reformed in the light:

  • Luke 12:2-5, NKJV: 2 For there is nothing covered that will not be revealed, nor hidden that will not be known. 3 Therefore whatever you have spoken in the dark will be heard in the light, and what you have spoken in the ear in inner rooms will be proclaimed on the housetops. 4 “And I say to you, My friends, do not be afraid of those who kill the body, and after that have no more that they can do. 5 But I will show you whom you should fear: Fear Him who, after He has killed, has power to cast into hell; yes, I say to you, fear Him!
  •
  • 1 Corinthians 4:5: Therefore judge nothing before the time, until the Lord comes, who will both bring to light the hidden things of darkness and reveal the counsels of the hearts. Then each one’s praise will come from God.
  • 2 Corinthians 4:2:  But we have renounced the hidden things of shame, not walking in craftiness nor handling the word of God deceitfully, but by manifestation of the truth commending ourselves to every man’s conscience in the sight of God.
That's why I do not dread Dad, Pop-Pop, and others who want to silence and our family histories and collective family history-- and that's why I want to thankfully use my gift of the right to free speech and "talk about" our family history.

I'll Make YouTube Videos In the Morning Instead, If I Can...

I'm just too tired; it's already been a long week (e.g., visiting a women's prison and still having no cell phone), and I can do more in the morning-- or afternoon, depending on when I get up. And who knows what the next second holds?

"13 Come now, you who say, “Today or tomorrow we will[g] go to such and such a city, spend a year there, buy and sell, and make a profit”; 14 whereas you do not know what will happen tomorrow. For what is your life? It is even a vapor that appears for a little time and then vanishes away. 15 Instead you ought to say, “If the Lord wills, we shall live and do this or that.” 16 But now you boast in your arrogance. All such boasting is evil.

"17 Therefore, to him who knows to do good and does not do it, to him it is sin."

I Have No Problem Submitting Legitimately-Self-Hating, Israel-Threatening Jews To Masada2000.org...

Being talmidim of Meir Kahane, Masada2000.org often can and do go too far in who they consider Self-Hating, Israel-Threatening Jews-- and sometimes they don't go far enough (e.g., Jack Czarnecki. Excuse me, Masada2000.org; Jack Czarnecki refused to admit that he is Jewish when he was serving tax papers to Anti-Semitic Nixon, and thus refused to take a stand for the Jewish people. Then he later intended to rid of his Jewish Catholic mother, Mary M. Trudnak Czarnecki. Why don't I see "Czarnecki, John 'Jack' on Masada2000's infamous list).

That's why I submit only legitimate candidates. e.g.:

  1. PM David Cameron (who got himself de-facto submitted long before I entered the picture),
  2. Great-Grandma Gaydos (And if you think that betraying relatives during the Shoah and refusing to help them make aliyah is okay, you must have your head stuck in something.),
  3. Senator Barbara Mikulski. I've blogged about her being a Self-Hiding, Self-Despising Jew; and having come from families of Self-Hiding, Self-Despising Jews, I had to go through the schpiel to discover my actual heritage-- and I never would've dreamed in a million years that we are Jews. And I am sick of that there are many Self-Hiding, Self-Despising Jews; especially ones like Senator Barbara Mikulski who refuse to use their power and authority to be open about their Jewish heritage and take a stand for the Jewish people. By the way, most Poles do not have brown hair and brown eyes, which Senator Mikulski does. And she got lucky, too-- I had to get the brown eyes from my (as far as is known) gentile Spanish-Irish-American mom (My dad's family ended up being Olive- and fair-complexioned, non-brown-eyed Ashkenazic Jews; and we were lucky to retain the Olive complexion where we did-- go figure.).

I Could But Won't Be Submitting My Sister to Masada2000's Infamous List (For Right Now)...

I ran into some errors on my computer, which I took as a sign. Meanwhile, I don't see how a Jew with relatives in Tel Aviv who were already betrayed by her kapo great-grandmother (Mary Rusnak Gaydos, whose name I absolutely submitted to Masada2000.org) is okay with betraying her relatives again. Voting for Rep. Ron Paul (R-TX) is an ultimate betrayal of Israel.

What Congressional approval does Ron Paul need to help Israel fight Iran? Isn't blessing Israel more important than listening to Congress? George W. Bush thought so when he declared war against Kabul (Afghanistan and Pakistan, cf. 1 Kings 9:13). George W. Bush blessed the memory of Dana Falkenberg and blessed Dana Falkenberg's people and country when he had Israel's greatest and then-freshly-wounded ally invade Kabul.

Why would Ron Paul ever listen to one Self-Hating Mossad agent and withdraw support from Israel? By the way, Ron Paul could never get away with saying that on FOX News-- Self-Hating Wolf Blitzer let him get away with saying that (as my sister told me. I don't watch or support Anti Semitic, though I'll glance at it from time to time at school since it's on the cafeteria TVs, anyway; and all I see on CNN is Far Leftism and Anti Semitism).

Ron Paul had better not be a Self-Hating Jew-- or Jewish for that matter, anyway-- because he will be particularly cursed if he is:

1 Now the LORD had said to Abram:

Get out [Lekh Lekha] of your country,
From your family
And from your father’s house,
To a land that I will show you.
2 I will make you a great nation;
I will bless you
And make your name great;
And you shall be a blessing.
3 I will bless those who bless you,
And I will curse him who curses you;
And in you all the families of the earth shall be blessed.”

Last Blog Entry For the Next Couple of Hours...

When you have no cell phone (My friend couldn't find my cell phone.), no books (except for one notebook to take notes about a prison tour), papers to protect, and just a computer (and not the one at home); you tend to get pretty bored pretty fast and tend to blog a lot-- and a lot and a lot, and a lot (Try that phrase to Toby Keith's "You Shouldn't Kiss Me Like This, which I heard the last part of on the way home today-- and I still like Toby's older stuff, pre-Late 2000s, better. By the way, "You Shouldn't Kiss Me Like This" could go great with "Beauty and the Beast" and "My Heart Will Go On".).

I'm kvetching already. Meanwhile, I'll make some YouTube videos when I get home, and they'll be about the prison visit, etc..

I'd better go before I kvetch more and utz everybody.
