I Stand By It, Whoever You Are In Silver Spring...

I'd also stand by it again. As I said, shiva is reversible while the person's alive and what Aunt Mary (maybe you? Or, if you're Kevin Miskell, your mom about whom you're conveniently holding information back?) did was something for which sitting shiva was quite appropriate (especially now that we're getting limited, if really any, information about her). By the way, the name has not been "Mary Jo" for a long time. It's "Mary" (nice try, though; and anyone who loves and respects Aunt Mary would have taken the time to know that!).

Silver Spring, Maryland arrived from google.com on "The Nicole Factor: family" by searching for mary jo czarnecki miskell.

I'm Going To Get Into Trouble For Republishing A Shiva Notice, And...

In Great-Grandma's words, "I want to talk about it." I am not repeating the family patterns again. Some Czerneckis may cover anything up, not talk about certain matters, etc.. So, let me begin by republishing of the shiva notice by saying the following:

My cousins are not wanting us to talk about my aunt's suicide attempt. They also held her back from confronting my dad and his parents. Is that Dad lied when he said that Aunt Mary wanted to see him and her parents possible? Yes. However, Great-Grandma (as Aunt Mary herself told me, and as she herself witnessed when Great-Grandma told her and Uncle Gary to leave the room so that she could talk to Pop, Great-Grandma) was not adverse to confronting Pop-Pop before she died; so, I could believe that Aunt Mary wanted to see her brother and parents, and confront them.

We Czerneckis don't talk about that stuff according to family pattern; and my cousins are repeating the family pattern. Also, one of them is mad that they went to talk to his dad (my ex uncle) about something regarding my aunt. Understandable, but then let your mom give them Hell, K. (and you know which one you are).

I do not know how she is, by the way. All I know is that she's in "rehab"--whatever that actually means, now that I think about it. It could be rehab and recovery; it could be an institution (like Mom suggested); it could be God knows what else. Besides, I'd like to see the suicide note and know what I did to affect her to try to commit suicide--I know that I had a part in it. Did I talk about the family issues too much? Or not enough?

Regardless of what Mom says, I know that I had something to do with it. Like I said, "Did I talk about the family issues too much? Or not enough?" Either way, I'm just glad that I ended up sitting shiva for her when I did. When I couldn't reach her and she completely cut everyone off (and I thought that she was cutting just me off for no reason or something), I sat shiva for an hour symbolically. Little did I know that it would end up meaning something.

She doesn't even know that I did, that I sat shiva, though--or if she does, maybe that's what drove her to do it. I'd like to know, and I was of course angry that she cut me off without telling me why. How was I supposed to know what was going on? Also, do you think that, that I broke down on Monday partly over your mother's suicide attempt is fair, K. and K.? You're not the only ones grieving.

Shiva Notice For Aunt and Ashkenazi Levite

Mary Joan Miskell nee Czarnecki, born May 14, 1962 (the 18th Gregorian Anniversary of the founding of her homeland). Born among the Jewish Diasporan community and in Glen Burnie, Maryland, Mrs. Miskell was the daughter of John "Jack" and Joan (nee Gajdos) Czarnecki. Through Joan's maternal grandmother's family (the Foczkos, among the Jewish Diasporan and Crypto-Jewish communities in Poland, Slovakian Hungary, and the United States), Mary (who was named in part for her Levitical grandmother, Marysia "Mary" Gaydos nee Rusnak, a daughter of Juliana "Julia" Rusnak nee Foczkova) was a Matrilineal Levite.

Born into a Crypto-Jewish Roman Catholic family, Mrs. Miskell left Roman Catholicism after her son Ryan (by whom she has been predeceased since May 10, 1991) died. She was unaware that she was a Jewish Christian until the 2000s, and remained in Jesus even after finding out that she was Jewish. She even sent two of her surviving children to a private Christian college.

Last known to have resided in Leesburg, Virginia, she was considered as though she was deceased on May 20, 2013 (Sivan 9-10, 5773; Shavu'ot 5773). Due to circumstances concerning her up to Shavu'ot 5773, whether she was even still physically alive was unable to be established. Because of the circumstances, she is considered deceased for the time being and sorely missed.

Besides her son Ryan, among those who preceded her in passing into the World To Come are her beloved paternal grandmother, Mary Theresa Czarnecki nee Trudnak (the daughter of Mihaly "Michael Trudniak" and Anna Amalia [nee Munkova; Hanna Amal'yah bat-Sz'mu'el-ben-Shlomo] Trudnyak]). Among those who mourn the loss of her are her niece Nicole Czarnecki of Baltimore, Maryland.

Shiva will be sat and "Kaddish" recited in a Messianic style at the home of Nicole Czarnecki on May 25 (Sivan 15). Pray for the Czarnecki and related families at this difficult time.

Sitting Shiva Isn't Always About Physical Death

I know this because I'm well read enough and have delved enough into my own family history. Shiva can be sat when:

  1. A child or other relatives intermarries (This happened to the late Ruth McBride Jordan, nee Rachel Deborah Shilsky [Ruchel Dwajra Zylska] when she was even just in a relationship with Dennis McBride.). This normally doesn't happen if a child marries solely a "shvartze"--as the Yiddish pejorative was thrown about back then. This happens if a child marries any gentile who doesn't convert or is not accepted for conversion into Judaism.
  2. A child or other relative converts out of particularly Non-Messianic Judaism into--e.g.--Roman Catholicism (or other so-called "denominations of Messianic Judaism [Christianity]"), even if they remain Non Messianic and are merely Anusim. Sometimes, shiva isn't even sat and there's a rowdy hatefest where the convert's "death" or death is celebrated (See "Evel Rabbati", which takes work to find but is worth fighting. As the Anti Semites like to tripe on about and the Karaites note, this is what the P'rushiyin do not want you to know.). The P'rushiyin particularly hated Jesus, and revisionists like to pretend that another Yeshua is mentioned, but all one has to do is look at Bava Metzi'a 59b and the New Testament to get the idea pretty quickly.
  3. A child or other relative acts so despicably that the circumstances play out as if he or she is dead, would rather be dead, or would be better off as such.
  4. A child or other relative is in circumstances in he or she is dead, would rather be dead, or would be better off as such. For example, a child who is inevitably going to die of terminal cancer and not be miraculously healed may have shiva sat for him ot her early on.
Shiva can always be reversed for the living. For example, Ruth McBride Jordan did get back in touch with one of her cousins who she hadn't seen in years and who was in California. Even relatives who had sat shiva for her (viz. her aunts Mary and Bernadette) had contact with her, even though that contact was telling her that they sat shiva for her and she was to stay out of their lives (which Mary did)--as well as slamming the door in her face when she reached out to them for help (which Bernadette did).

In my own family's case, I have been in touch with Rusnak relatives before. Also, the Czerneckis did write to us once to ask for the deed to be changed. Shiva will also be reversed for Aunt Mary if she ever reaches out to me again (See #3 to give you an idea of what she did. All that I'll say is that, that took hutzpah to cut me off without at least telling me why she would--at least Ruth McBride Jordan's aunt Mary told her that she cut her off and gave her a hint as to why she did.).

Shiva cannot be reversed for the dead (unless they of course miraculously rise again).

Why Anti Messianics Get Away With Their Persecutory Behavior

We have "turn the other cheek" interpreted incorrectly! As I've said, Turning the other cheek is not being a doormat. In fact, read Luke 22:35-38. There was no being a doormat there. Also, read 1 Timothy 1:18-20 and 1 Corinthians 5:1-5. There was no being a doormat and letting inappropriate behavior go on there.

Of course, not being a doormat doesn't mean doing things in the name of Jesus which would turn Anti Messianics further away from the Gospel. Doing what Nicolas Donin, Solomon "Pablo de Santa Maria" HaLevi, Torquemada, Pablo Christiani, and others did is unacceptable. Besides, you can't ever force anyone to convert, anyway--my Anusi relatives being cases in point.

Nonetheless, do what I did to Leah and don't pull any punches: alert his or her "rabbi"After all, no Anti Messianic has the right to contact us "dead" and "idolatrous" Messianic Jews according to halakhah or the Old Covenant. The only reason that the Anti Messianics are getting away with persecution is because Messianics think that we're to be doormats.

Also, deal with Anti Messianics at the kehillah level first. Then bring in the law outside of their and/or your kehillot if you have to. In my case, for example, Leah threatened to hack into my computer and track my private medical information; so I warned her that she could be criminally liable under HIPAA, MIPSA, and various other UK and US laws--including cyber laws. Leah also harassed various Messianics--including myself--and the Rosh Pina Project Website; so she's in violation of UN, UK, US, and cyber laws--including laws regarding freedom of religion, conscience, and thought (and the UK adheres more strictly to UN law than does the US).

By the way, Leah claimed to be not Orthodox--even though she does go to an Orthodox synagogue (I won't say where, and I contacted her "rabbi".). Given that she's apparently not Orthodox and thinks that she doesn't have to follow Orthodox halakhah--or not deceive her synagogue and kehillah--, she may want to check Reform halakhah--e.g., Responsa 67 and 150. Reform halakhah also states that we're considered to be dead and apostate, and Reform Judaism is followed in the UK as well as the US. Furthermore, Masorti (Conservative) Judaism--among other denominations of Non-Messianic Judaism--say the same thing, and they are as followed outside of the US as well as inside of the US.

In conclusion, turning the other cheek simply means to not be a pogromist, Crusader, or Inquisitor. The Anti Messianics, thus, should not be able to perceive or use Messianic Jews as doormats. Therefore, we need to start using the so-to-speak "swords" of halakhah and other law against Anti Messianics in order to defend ourselves and not allow persecution of ourselves and fellow Messianic Jews to go on.

Addednum: Paul used the law to defend himself and--since all Sabra'im (including the Apostles who were disciples) were Roman citizens--the other Apostles.

Update: Leah (leah8)'s Kehillah Contacted

I'm hoping that I contacted the right kehillah. I think that I did. I asked Leah and she didn't respond, so that's a good sign.As I've said, the Anti Messianics' "rabbis" & kehillot have a right to know if they're made "tamei" by members who contact Messianic Jews. Furthermore, Leah harassed the "dead" and "idolatrous"; and since she considers us such, she violated Tanakh & halakhah by contacting us. I also let her know that her kehillah had been contacted, so my hands & conscience are clean. Pray that she is rebuked swiftly & mercifully.

The halakhah which she violated:

  1. From MazorNet.com. See "For a Jew who Converted to Another Religion".
  2. From TheYeshivaWorld.com. "Going off the derech is one thing. But intermarrying or shmadding, and you break off all contact with that person after sitting shiva for him/her."
  3. Directly from Tanakh, the Complete Jewish Bible Translation

So, you can see that my threat to contact Anti Messianics' kehillot when the Anti Messianic is contacting us "dead" Messianics is not idle.

Notice To the Anti Messianics: Your "Rabbi" Will Be Contacted If He Or She Needs To Be

If I ever catch any Anti Messianic infiltrating a Messianic website with which I am somehow involved, I may contact his or her "rabbi". Any Anti Messianic who’s stalking Messianics violates his or her interpretations of Deuteronomy 13, 18:10-12; and Numbers 19:11-21. His or her “rabbi” thus has the right to know if one of whom he or she has charge is out of line with his or her synagogue’s dictates.

After all, Anti Messianics should think that they’re in violation of Deuteronomy 13. Since they think that we’re really idolaters, they’re not supposed to hang around us. They’re supposed to stone us. Also, they're supposed to think that they’re in violation of Deuteronomy 18:10-12 and Numbers 19:11-21. They’re making contact with whom they think are the dead. Thus, any “rabbi” who has charge of them needs to know that they are committing what he or she would perceive as avodah zarah, and thus needs to sit shiva for them and/or put them through excommunication proceedings.

AddendumTo hound Messianics is fair to neither the Anti Messianic, nor the Messianics, nor the Anti Messianics' "rabbis". If you're Anti Messianic, know this: I’m not threatening you. I’m simply letting your “rabbi” know that you’re in violation of your synagogue’s dictates. You’re the one making contact with those whom you consider to be idolaters and the dead; and your “rabbi”, who has charge over you as your G-d-appointed shepherd, has the right to know what you’re doing.

Again, I’m not threatening you. I really did search one Anti Messianic's name, and will search your name if I need to let your "rabbi" know what you're doing. Your “rabbi” has the right to know that you are making contact with whom you and he or she consider to be idolaters and the dead. You are doing a disservice to yourself and your “rabbi” by making contact with whom you consider to be idolatrous and dead. Your “rabbi” needs to know if membership dues that are being paid by you could be considered defiled, since they come from one who has chosen to supposedly violate at least three of the 613 mitzvot.

Put in another way, if you’re violating your synagogue’s dictates by harassing us who are Messianic and thus making contact with whom you consider to be idolatrous and dead, then your “rabbi” is absolutely my business. Your “rabbi” has charge over you, and he or she needs to know that you have allegedly made contact with dead idolizers and given your synagogue defiled donations.

Addendum Two: If you start engaging in lashon hara by calling me an Anti Semite, stalker, etc.; I will definitely  be in contact with your "rabbi". I already told one Anti Messianic (and let her name be on record), You have allegedly broken four mitzvot, and actually broke one of the four–by your (not my) logic, you broke the other three mitzvot. You talk about having a matter both ways; look at you. I also made clear that I do not force (and have not forced) anyone to convert. You, on the other hand, are frequenting Messianic websites and harassing who you consider to be dead and idolatrous. As I said, my contacting of your “rabbi” is not an idle threat.

By the way, to whomever Leah (leah8)'s "rabbi" is, you need to know that your congregant is in violation of your synagogue's dictates and has given what you may consider defiled money to you.

In Case Something Happens To Me (e.g., I Do Something Stupid)...

Here's my updated obituary (my older obituary is in the back of my journal along with my will and post-mortem plans, which--like I had to with my obituary--I have to eventually update). I've been pretty close to suicide a number of times in at least the past three days. Some parts are censored due to: 1) privacy reasons 2) the privacy being due to that I'm not dead yet:

Born January 23, 1990 at 5:37 AM at St. Agnes Hospital in Baltimore, Maryland, Nicole [censored] Czarnecki was the oldest child and twin daughter of Gregory "Greg" [censored] and Cecilia Allen (née Cecilia [censored] Allen) Czarnecki. A second-generation Marylander, she was raised by Greg--a first-generation Marylander--and (mostly) Cecilia--who has extensive family histories in Maryland, including those of the Pelz-DeBoy families (from which Delegate Steve DeBoy, and actors Paul and P.J. DeBoy descend). She was also a granddaughter of former IRS Agent John "Jack" Czarnecki (who served tax papers to then-President Richard Nixon; an who, at the time, resided in Glen Burnie and now resides in Millersville).

She was raised in [censored], going to  [censored] Elementary and [censored] Middle (now a part of [censored]) Schools. She graduated from Chapelgate Christian Academy in Marriottsville on June 2, 2008. Briefly attending Howard Community College and then-College (now-University) of Notre Dame of Maryland, she chose to settle on University of Maryland, Baltimore County as her alma mater. She planned to major in Political Science and graduate UMBC in June 2013. She planned to be a journalist, commentator, or other news-and-politics-affiliated professional.

She loved, besides news and politics, genealogy and family history, history (besides family history), social networking, and music--among other things. Known to many as "Nickidewbear" and "The Nicole Factor" blogger, she blogged, tweeted, Facebooked, YouTubed, and otherwise made known her life's ups and downs, her passions, and other matters.

Besides her Internet audience (who either loved or hated her), her mother and her twin sister (Michelle) family friends, numerous family members (including Kevin Fosko--a paternal once-removed third cousin--and his family, of Silver Spring), and others survive her. She will be buried next to her great-grandmother Mary Theresa Czarnecki (née Trudniak, to Michael--né Mihály--and Anna Monková Trudniak) at St. Mary's Cemetery in Hanover Township, Pennsylvania. In honor of her ethnic Jewishness passed down by (among others) Anna Monková Trudniak, she will be buried in the Jewish tradition with no calling hours prior to her funeral.

She also, in lieu of flowers, requested donations to Yad Vashem, JewishGen, Jews for Jesus, New Heritage (Morasha Hadasha) Community (which she began attending in 2012 and of which she intended to become a member), Hebrew4Christians, and Chosen People Ministries. She further requested donations to Wounded Warriors and The Fisher House (in memory of herself and Pfc. Bernard "Bernie" S. Czarnecki--Army, 111th Infantry Division Medical Corps, World War Two--, who died from wounds obtained in combat during World War Two), Ancestry.com and FamilySearch.org, and charitable organizations such as Alexa's Lemonade Stand and small businesses such as NipandBones.com.

Shiva will be sat and Kaddish said for her at her home at [censored]. Please provide food for the mourners from Trader Joe's and Roots Market.
