OSU's Hillel & Real LGBTQ Homophobia ("Homophobia" Being Actually Discriminating Against Someone Simply For Being LGBTQ)

Ohio State University's branch of Hillel engaged in discrimination against LGBTQ students and other LGBTQ people in Ohio. Nowhere in Tanakh (also know as "The Old Testament" or "The Hebrew Bible") does it read, "Thou shalt cut off from thyselves any woman whose heart desireth not a man, and any man whose heart desireth not a woman."

One can oppose the LGBTQ lifestyle (e.g., "Thou shalt not lie with a man as one lies with a woman...") without discriminating against LGBTQ people ("I desire mercy over sacrifice...").

Please remind OSU's branch of Hillel to love their neighbors, including LGBTQ neighbors, as themselves.

Why I've Not Exactly Been In The Game For a While


  1. I, so to speak, needed to let the fields fallow over for a while, anyway. Neither overplanting nor overharvesting are good.
  2. I've really hardly yielded results. I was actually amazed when, e.g., Donna Foley Marby actually thanked me for the defense of her and her book "Maude". As far as I can tell, I hardly ever yield results like that. Besides, I expect what I usually yield—backlash! After a while, that "damned if you do, damned if you don't, and damned if you neither do nor don't" conundrum just brings ennui at best and an exacerbation of Depression at worst—and I have admitted that the only reason that I have not taken Great-Granddad's path is because I would not want to risk the negative effects of surviving an attempt to go down his path.
  3. I've been busy with Reilly—another reason, by the way, as to why I haven't taken Great-Granddad's path.
  4. I've been busy with dealing with my Depression and other matters.
  5. Today, I woke up with a cold and muscle aches.
I assure you, by the way, that I'm not the only one who's in my kind of situation. People in similar situations, e.g.:

  1. Need to let their fields fallow over once in a while as well.
  2. Feel ennui, melancholy (or exacerbation of Depression), and/or even worse if they feel that their attempts at tikun ha'olam don't yield anything, let alone anything good—whether for themselves or, most importantly, others.
  3. Sometimes have outside commitments and circumstances. 
Incidentally, the coming year is HaShanah shel HaSh'mitah b'Eretz Yisra'el.

The Seahawks, Like Moses and Jeremiah?

This reminds me of when the Golden Calf incident happened. Yet, how did the Seattle Seahawks sin? The New England Patriots cheated:

"And Moses besought יהוה his God, and said: 'יהוה, why doth Thy wrath wax hot against Thy people, that Thou hast brought forth out of the land of Egypt with great power and with a mighty hand? Wherefore should the Egyptians speak, saying: For evil did He bring them forth, to slay them in the mountains, and to consume them from the face of the earth? Turn from Thy fierce wrath, and repent of this evil against Thy people. Remember Abraham, Isaac, and Israel, Thy servants, to whom Thou didst swear by Thine own self, and saidst unto them: I will multiply your seed as the stars of heaven, and all this land that I have spoken of will I give unto your seed, and they shall inherit it for ever.' And יהוה repented of the evil which He said He would do unto His people."

I know that יהוה can and does show that cheating, etc. is not acceptable. Right now, though, the Seahawks must be feeling like Moses as they see the Egypt-like Patriots: "'Wherefore should the Egyptians speak, saying: For evil did He bring them forth, to slay them in the mountains, and to consume them from the face of the earth?'" They must also be feeling like Jeremiah:

Right wouldest Thou be, O יהוה, were I to contend with Thee, yet will I reason with Thee: Wherefore doth the way of the wicked prosper? Wherefore are all they secure that deal very treacherously? Thou hast planted them, yea, they have taken root; they grow, yea, they bring forth fruit; Thou art near in their mouth, and far from their reins. But Thou, O יהוה, knowest me, Thou seest me, and triest my heart toward Thee; pull them out like sheep for the slaughter, and prepare them for the day of slaughter.

I'm also thinking of, "Where is their God?" I'm even thinking "Does 'Thou shalt not steal' mean anything? Does 'Thou shalt not bear false witness against thy neighbor' mean anything? Does that יהוה hates dishonest scales and measures, and other forms of lying mean anything?"

Incidentally, why on Earth did יהוה assign Julian Edelman to a team that does not respect Him, the God of Julian's fathers?

The Type Of Matters That I Want To Bring To the Forefront, And...

I can't bring up those matters when I'm being crushed under the weight of my own burdens. For example:

Catholic teaching prohibits the use of artificial contraception but allows the use of the so-called rhythm method, where couples avoid unwanted pregnancy by planning sex on days during the woman's menstrual cycle on which she is less likely to conceive.

Then some wondered why I was furious when a Facebook friend suggested that I "[m]arry Jesus in [my] heart." As I told him, my family suffered enough under the Roman and Byzantine Catholic Churches. Need I bring up Great-Granddad's family again, for example? Besides, I know exactly what "marry[ing] Jesus" means:


  1. As if I'm not already a Christian? Fur shanda
  2. I saw when, for instance, the SSND women at UNDM had on wedding bands to represent that they were "brides of Christ" (and I was reminded of that term when I read The Staircase recently).
I told him quite frankly:

"Marry Jesus"? What; become a nun? I'm a non-proselytizing Jewish Christian; and quite frankly, my paternal family dealt with enough from the Roman and Byzantine (e.g., Russian Orthodox) Catholic Churches for centurieswhich is why my and other branches became Anusim.

Also, this matter reminded me of why people complain about the Roman Catholic Church. After all, even Acts 15 prevents menstrual sex!  Again, my own paternal family dealt with enough from the Roman and Byzantine (e.g., Russian Orthodox) Catholic Churches for centuriesand part of that included watching and hearing as the Roman Catholic Church contradicted even the B'rit Chadashah, let alone (the rest of) Tanakh.

Even If Nobody Else Is Saying This...

Quite honestly, I wonder if it didn't have to do in part with the Haredi constituency in New York City that follows Yevamot 62b. Sure, this Vietnamese couple made their argument; nonetheless, was someone also trying to appease the Haredim?

"Our Rabbis taught: Concerning a man who loves his wife as himself, who honours her more than himself, who guides his sons and daughters in the right path and arranges for them to be married near the period of their puberty, Scripture says, And thou shalt know that thy tent is in peace.49  Concerning him who loves his neighbours, who befriends his relatives, marries his sister's50  daughter,"

Incidentally enough, I had no clue that it was that specific. I just knew about the reference. Anyway, don't kid yourself; the Haredim have a very-strong presence in New York City (e.g., Williamsburg, Crown Heights). By the way, the decision reads in part:

There is no comparably strong objection to uncle-niece marriages. Indeed, until 1893 marriages between uncle and niece or aunt and nephew, of the whole or half blood, were lawful in New York. And sixty years after the prohibition was enacted we affirmed, in May, a judgment recognizing as valid a marriage between a half-uncle and half-niece that was entered into in Rhode Island and permitted by Rhode Island law. It seems from the Appellate Division’s reasoning in May that the result would have been the same even if a full uncle and full niece had been involved. Thus Domestic Relations Law § 5(3) has not been viewed as expressing strong condemnation of uncle-niece and aunt-nephew relationships.

I wonder, too, if that's why some Haredim immigrated to New York. They may not have been literate in haleshonot l'goyim, though they still knew what was going on. Remember that back in Krasne nad Krasnopol, Wojciech and Marianna Krusznyska Danilowicz were smart enough to claim negligence in baptizing Katarzyna—by the way, Jews did use and even adopt shemot hagoyim; though I'm not sure if we'll ever know the real names of "Katarzyna" et. al.. "Marianna" is probably the one real name, though, since that's "Miryam Chanah".

As for their cousin Rochla (and I'm definitely not fooled in light of this, since Aleksandria listed Katarzyna as her in-law mother and nearest relative, even though they were not talking to each other after Julian and Aleksandra became Anusim), she came to New York with enough English literacy (or maybe she talked to a customs official who could speak Yiddish) to get into New York (Her aunt had to pick her up; so, who knows?).

By the way, all of Great-Granddad's families stuck together in Northumberland County, PA, too (Look it up. If you're too, quite honestly, lazy to do it, I'll give you the names and links to searches for "Czarnecki", etc.; "Danilowicz", etc.; "Andrulewicz". etc.; and "Margiewicz", etc.. Otherwise, you're on your own from there. I've proved myself enough—and I don't need that "Both sets of parents?" argument again, since Alexandria gave her parents' name as "Antoni" and "Katarzyna" as well. As far as I know, that neither is my fault nor was the fault of Great-Grandaunt Alice. I didn't even know that Great-Granddad's parents were here—let alone Crypto Jews who escaped the pogroms—until I was close to 20 years old, and she was simply writing what her mother told her to write. So, I wouldn't even be counted in an Israeli Census before then, and she was a bat chayil.

Anyway, back to my point (since I just needed to say all that in case I would get the "That's not enough evidence," "That's coincidence," etc. arguments): since Haredim are (as I must mention, in case one didn't know that Haredim are) very much a constituency in New York City (and, thus, New York State) and knew enough to immigrate to the "treif medina", could they somehow have played into "Nguyen v. Holder" (2014), even if quietly? After all, I perhaps would darned well consider that if I were a Second Circuit Court judge—especially if I wanted to get reappointed, and even someday appointed to the Supreme Court (As is known, elective politics plays even into appointive politics.).

Let's not be fooled: if (and since) Katarzyna's parents could (so to speak) pull strings to be under-the-radar Anusim, and Rochla knew enough to get into New York, the Haredim could and do know enough to (at least if they wanted) play into a gentile case that has implications for Haredi Jewish tradition.

Let me conclude one incidental observation as well: "Antoni" and "Katarzyna" seem to be to Poland as "Juan" and "Maria" are to Mexico.

Close To Death...And Would Blue Cross/Blue Shield Let Sophia Die?!

Would Blue Cross/Blue Shield have denied me because of my Cerebral Palsy (e.g., my ITB Pump) and other conditions? Why, then, would they deny Sophia? "Sophia was born 3 months early and spent 71 days in the NICU."

I was in Sophia's position. Diagnosed at 1.5 years old with Mild Quadriplegia Cerebral Palsy, I had a Category-Three brainbleed that caused my CP on January 24, 1990 (and this was after I was born on January 23, 1990). I spent 75 days in the NICU because of it. I had come home on April 7, 1990; apparently unable to walk, talk, write, etc..



I beat the odds. Sophia did, too. Why doesn't Blue Cross/Blue Shield get that? Do they want her to die? They didn't want me to die (though, scarily, they might have were I born nowadays).

A Recent Point At Which I Had To Say "Never Again" Once Again

Once I read that, I knew that I had made a mistake and that Masada2000 wasn't too harsh on or chauvinist against Anat Hoffman after all. While I'll continue to support Women of the Wall, I will never again support Anat Hoffman or any branch of the Religious Action Center. While I do not know Ms. Hoffman's motives—whether or not they are malicious—I do know George Soros' motives, and he has made them clear to anyone who cares to research and read, listen to, and otherwise know about and know what he has said. I also know that while he had "fun" as a kapo, he put the blood of Levais, Nagys, and other relatives on his hands.

Meanwhile, I thought that I was just helping stop the further Haredization of Ha'Eretz v'Medinat Yisra'el. George Soros tricked me (and while I certainly don't agree with the URJ or RAC on everything, I thought that I could walk with them where I agreed with them); George Soros may be tricking Anat Hoffman (and "may be" is the key phrase—I certainly hope that Anat Hoffman is not malicious), and I hope that George Soros will not trick anyone else—at least ever again! If he does, though, he may want to keep fellow Jew George Wilson's words in mind:

God knows what you've been doing, everything you've been doing. You may fool me, but you can’t fool God!

By the way, Anti-Semitism alert: Baz Luhrmann put words into F. Scott Fitzgerald's pen and, thus, Tom Buchanan's mouth—Tom Buchanan never called Meyer Wolfsheim what Mrs. McKee called George Wilson.

The Disgustingness of Legalism

I'm embarrassed that many here are forgetting Genesis 50:20, 1 Samuel 16:7, Acts 15, Romans 14, and Colossians 2:13-17, among other verses. First of all, Yeshua made a New Covenant and nailed the 613 mitzvot to the Cross (though some remain--see Acts 15, e.g.). Secondly, a holiday that Yeshua celebrated, namely Hanukkah, comes from a pagan tradition. Thirdly, your Yahushua or Yahushishi or whoever you worship in the place of Yeshua is not the Mashiach. "I marvel that you are turning away so soon from Him who called you in the grace of Christ, to a different gospel,  which is not another; but there are some who trouble you and want to pervert the gospel of Christ." (Galatians 1:6-7) Yeshua is clearly useless to you, since you pursue your own righteousness through Torah. "I do not set aside the grace of God; for if righteousness comes through the law, then Christ died in vain.”" (Galatians 2:21) Only non-believing Jews are still under the Old Covenant. "For they being ignorant of God’s righteousness, and seeking to establish their own righteousness, have not submitted to the righteousness of God.  For Christ is the end of the law for righteousness to everyone who believes."

By the way, Sha'ul once persecuted Yeshua. Think about that if and when you persecute Sha'ul and say that Sha'ul (who became Paul) was not following Yeshua. "But I make known to you, brethren, that the gospel which was preached by me is not according to man. For I neither received it from man, nor was I taught it, but it came through the revelation of Jesus Christ." (Galatians 1:11-12). You are doing to both Sha'ul and ultimately Yeshua what Sha'ul once did to Yeshua.

Object as you will, but then why does Yirimiyahu prophesy the following? "“Behold, the days are coming, says the Lord, when I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel and with the house of Judah— 32 not according to the covenant that I made with their fathers in the day that I took them by the hand to lead them out of the land of Egypt, My covenant which they broke, though I was a husband to them,[a] says the Lord. 33 But this is the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel after those days, says the Lord: I will put My law in their minds, and write it on their hearts; and I will be their God, and they shall be My people. 34 No more shall every man teach his neighbor, and every man his brother, saying, ‘Know the Lord,’ for they all shall know Me, from the least of them to the greatest of them, says the Lord. For I will forgive their iniquity, and their sin I will remember no more.”"

You've made Yeshua quite useless, then; and I don't go after the majority to do evil. Also, many didn't believe that Yeshua was and is Mashiach.

I Don't Hope That Nehemia Gordon's Happy With Himself, And...

Why should he be? After all, he took what I said--that "Rashi" ("Rabbi' Shlomo Yitzchaki) was Anti Messianic--and twisted it into some horrid and perverted rhetoric that I would never say. After I exposed him for doing that with a certain video, I got this strike on my YouTube account and had to later repost the video with the disclaimer that Nehemia is a public figure:



Unreal! And there's no chance to appeal it! As I've said, "My life is driven by being informed and informing others about what I know. After all, 'Tzedek, tzedek tirdof--Justice, justice, you shall pursue.'" and "Pursuing justice, therefore, begins with pursuing justice for my people and within my family--and that includes talking about....subjects which are to my mom's chagrin for me to talk about." And, of course, Mom and Michelle wouldn't want me talking about Nehemia--they'd just want me to let the whole situation go!

But as the situation stands, my moving forward as a commentator and pundit is hampered by him; and I'm also quite sure that he's still out there verbally abusing others and trying to wreck their lives all the more while abusing them! From what I understand, the guy still has a career--and that he does is rotten!

He also still has sleep at night! And how does he? That's part of why I get pretty riled up in my latest video--that is, I get riled up when I reflect on the fact that abusers and otherwise-jerky people like Nehemia Gordon can hamper and even destroy aspirations, careers, and lives of the very people who used or even put aside their own careers to support them. Remember that, for example, I would constantly refer and link to Karaite Korner on this blog, in my YouTube videos, etc.--and I had my defense of one of Nehemia's arguments twisted into horrid, perverted, Anti-Semitic rhetoric that Nehemia tried to put into my mouth!

And, again, that's part of why I'm moving forward with my aspirations and career as a commentator and pundit--so that people like Nehemia Gordon don't have careers and can't destroy the careers and lives of others (let alone of others who used or forewent their careers to help them).

Christianity Without Tikun-Ha'Olam Is Useless--and Certainly Not Even Really Christianity

We weren't given, e.g., the Great Commission for no reason--and fulfilling the Great Commission requires tikun-ha'olam. If you live your life by that "'Expectation is the root of all heartache'," so much for being a Christian, then. Jesus told us to expect pain & sorrow, and that things will get better if we try to help them be. After all, " “You are the light of the world. A city that is set on a hill cannot be hidden.  Nor do they light a lamp and put it under a basket, but on a lampstand, and it gives light to all who are in the house.  Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works and glorify your Father in heaven."

And what does a light do? Well, "there is nothing hidden which will not be revealed, nor has anything been kept secret but that it should come to light." Lights shine on things. Lights reveal things. Lights also, if they can, refine things. Remember that lights contain heating elements. "Many shall be purified, made white, and refined, but the wicked shall do wickedly; and none of the wicked shall understand, but the wise shall understand."

You don't help people by keeping things in the dark, let alone by not using things to learn from them. After all, "[a]s iron sharpens iron, [s]o a man sharpens the countenance of his friend." Not only that, but light needs to be a light to darkness as well, that the darkness may come into the light if it can.

For example, "if the whole church comes together in one place, and all speak with tongues, and there come in those who are uninformed or unbelievers, will they not say that you are out of your mind? But if all prophesy, and an unbeliever or an uninformed person comes in, he is convinced by all, he is convicted by all. And thus the secrets of his heart are revealed; and so, falling down on his face, he will worship God and report that God is truly among you."

People are not going to be convinced if the Church seems out of touch with realities of the world. Focusing on "sweetness and light" and the "positive" all of the time is not being in touch with what's going on. Granted that you are to "[s]et your mind on things above, not on things on the earth. For you died, and your life is hidden with Christ in God." That doesn't mean to ignore or mitigate the realities of the world--in fact, that means that you're to "not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God."

Remember that the world tries to hide things, keep secrets, make things look better than they are. No wonder, then, that the world won't help the least of these. After all, why would one help the least of these if he or she denies or mitigates them or their circumstances in the first place?

"“Then He will also say to those on the left hand, ‘Depart from Me, you cursed, into the everlasting fire prepared for the devil and his angels: for I was hungry and you gave Me no food; I was thirsty and you gave Me no drink; I was a stranger and you did not take Me in, naked and you did not clothe Me, sick and in prison and you did not visit Me.’

"“Then they also will answer Him, saying, ‘Lord, when did we see You hungry or thirsty or a stranger or naked or sick or in prison, and did not minister to You?’ Then He will answer them, saying, ‘Assuredly, I say to you, inasmuch as you did not do it to one of the least of these, you did not do it to Me.’ And these will go away into everlasting punishment, but the righteous into eternal life.”"

After all, "[p]ure and undefiled religion before God and the Father is this: to visit orphans and widows in their trouble, and to keep oneself unspotted from the world." "To keep oneself unspotted from the world" surely does not mean to focus on the "positive" and "sweetness and light" all of the time when the "positive" and "sweetness and light" is surely not what widows and orphans are going through. Besides, again, how will you "make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit," if you won't address the reasons why they need the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit in the first place? After all, there's no need--because there's no lack or void--of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit  in a "positive" world of "sweetness and light".

Furthermore, we're not in that "positive" world of "sweetness and light" yet. In that day, "[n]o more shall every man teach his neighbor, and every man his brother, saying, ‘Know the Lord,’ for they all shall know Me, from the least of them to the greatest of them, says the Lord." But it's not that day yet--so we need to live in the reality of the day that we are in right now--and living in the present requires that we focus on and try to make better the reality of the present, no matter how un-"positive" and lacking in "sweetness and light" it is.

Where Do I Begin Regarding These Past 10 Days? Well...

Just bear with me. I went into ITB surgery on the 17th of July (and still owe my friend a tallit or weaved tzitziyot--and there was no way that, regardless of what I wanted, I could take up weaving in the hospital). The actually installation of the ITB pump was on the 18th (since they did a trial run with ITB on the 17th), and the next few days were Hell in at least some ways (Some people actually gave a ****--or at least more of a **** than they normally would about me--, so that didn't make it complete Hell.). I then got transferred to Mt. Washington Pediatric Hospital from Johns Hopkins on the 22nd of July, and I've been at MWPH since.

As my aunt put my situation, I've had a lot of time to reflect--and, as usual and of course, some of my reflecting has gotten Mom mad at me. That's why I now have two Facebook accounts--one for my private life, and one for the life that Mom doesn't like. The life that she doesn't like, of course, is my life as a commentator, blogger, and other kind of pundit, kvetcher, or whatever I am. She hates that, for example, I talk about subjects that aren't "lighter subjects" when people come to visit me. 

Further, my second account was just originally a backup account to which someone sent me a bizarre friend request. So, everything seemed to come together as a "perfect storm"--I needed (and need) to keep my Mom and others out of my punditry and the fray thereof (for all of our sakes), I am a quasi-public figure (for both good and bad, with fame and infamy) that needs to start separating my public and private domains at some point, anyway; and I frankly don't want my family telling me what I can and cannot talk about--especially much of my life is driven by that (as I've often copied and pasted--or at least referred to) "nothing is secret that will not be revealed, nor anything hidden that will not be known and come to light."

My life is driven by being informed and informing others about what I know. After all, "Tzedek, tzedek tirdof--Justice, justice, you shall pursue." That's why I talk about our scattered, broken, and at-least-somewhat-corrupt family--for example, my family (e.g., Mary Rusnak Gaydos) was responsible for the murder of at least six Holocaust victims (Vilmosz, "Dudus", Pepi, Zoli, Miklos, and Sandor)--and they're only the ones that I could surely name off hand. My family also helped bring down Richard Nixon (Remember that Pop-Pop was IRS Agent John "Jack" Czarnecki and was the same Jack Czarnecki who served tax papers to Nixon via his attorneys.)--and the catch was that Nixon was a virulent Anti Semite who hated Jewish Democrats, and none other than a self-loathing Jewish Democrat was used to bring him down.

And what was the boring and mundane story that I got offhand? Oh, the Foskos wrote to Mary Gaydos asking for money, and she sent food (and during the Depression when the U.S. was hit harder than Czechoslovakia and Hungary--which alone should've alerted me to the fact that was a hole in the story), and that Pop-Pop was involved with Watergate (and, later, served papers to Nixon). 

I had no idea that my great-grandmother was a rotten kapo. By the way, you can get offended all that you want; but to deny relatives who are desperate and breaking their rules about not writing to "meshuadim" is a chillul-Yehovah (and given that Great-Grandma Gaydos professed to be a Christian, a chillul-Yeshua); and she deserves that get called for the kapo that she was--even though she's dead and has been dead since 1992. Besides, she wasn't called out for years; some in the family still defend her; Yehoshua's side understandably stopped talking to us for good again after that, and we're still cursed--"‘The Lord is longsuffering and abundant in mercy, forgiving iniquity and transgression; but He by no means clears the guilty, visiting the iniquity of the fathers on the children to the third andfourth generation." By the way, in case you didn't get the memo by now, I'm of the fourth generation if you count Mary Gaydos as of the first, of the third if you count Grandma as of the first--and my children and the other (as much as Jack and Joan hate it) children of Jack's and Joan's grandchildren, and the children of my second cousins (their great-grandnephews and great-grandnieces) are set to be doomed because of the promised (not idly threatened--promised!) curse that Great-Grandma Gaydos set upon the family.

Also, given that the family continues to cover up for Great-Grandma Gaydos, we're repeating her chillul-Yehovah. So, what are we going to do with the family who made aliyah? Are we going to repeat Great-Grandma Gaydos' sin against Vilmosz and sin against them when push comes to shove with Iran? Are we going to say, "We can't help you" again--and, also again, wreck our testimony (and testimonies) regarding Yeshua while we're at it? I don't know about them, but I'm even making aliyah if and when I can--if they're part of the "the residue of those who remain of this evil family, who remain in all the places where [Yehovah has] driven [us]", that's not my problem.

As far as Pop-Pop, as I've said, none other than a self-loathing Jewish Democrat was used to bring Nixon down. Again, none other than a self-loathing Jewish Democrat was used to bring him down. "[S]elf-loathing"! For what? He let the Anti Semites who tried to bring his grandparents down bring him down. What the heck is the matter with a Jew who brought an Anti Semite down and won't say, "Yeah, G-d used me to bring that S.O.B. down?" Are you that afraid of your heritage, Pop-Pop?

"Has a nation changed its gods, Which are not gods? But My people have changed their Glory Forwhat does not profit." Here was an opportunity for the son of pogrom and other Anti-Semitism survivors to say, "Yes, I am a Jew, a proud Jew; and G-d has used me to bring down one who went against His people"--and he squandered the opportunity. What a shame, especially when the glory should've gone to G-d! "For as the sash clings to the waist of a man, so I have caused the whole house of Israel and the whole house of Judah to cling to Me,’ says the Lord, ‘that they may become My people, for renown, for praise, and for glory; but they would not hear.’"

Pretending to be a gentile, Polish-Lithuanian-American Catholic is worth the holding back of glory to G-d and a voice for the Jewish people?! "Do not abhor us, for Your name’s sake; Do not disgrace the throne of Your glory. Remember, do not break Your covenant with us." Continuous Anti Semitism in return for standing up for and helping my people is worth far more than Crypto Jewishness and assimilation that will not help one in the end. 

Thus, there are just two examples right there--and two examples that I never want to see a repeat of or parallel to in my family or any family ever again. Of course, as I've said, Mom doesn't like when I talk about all this. Well (and thanks to Christians United For Israel for using this verse as their mission statement), "For Zion’s sake I will not hold My peace, And for Jerusalem’ssake I will not rest, Until her righteousness goes forth as brightness, And her salvation as a lamp that burns."

Pursuing justice, therefore, begins with pursuing justice for my people and within my family--and that includes talking about my family history and other subjects which are to my mom's chagrin for me to talk about. Also, again, that's why one Facebook account for my private life, and one for my life as a commentator, blogger, and other kind of pundit, kvetcher, or whatever I am. After all, as aforestated, I want to keep my family (including my mom) out of the ever-increasing fray of my pursuits of justice and tikun-ha'olam.

Patricia Evans' Power-Over and Personal-Power Models In My Own Life

While I've made no claim to be perfect in or right about every matter, person, and factor in life and the afterlife, I certainly--as Shemoth cited on Twitter today--am trying to do what David did. "Now David was greatly distressed, for the people spoke of stoning him, because the soul of all the people was grieved, every man for his sons and his daughters. But David strengthened himself in the Lord his God." In his case, David was dealing with wiping out the Amalekites who had captured Ziklag. In my case, I'm dealing with people who are trying to use the Power-Over Model over me in every way that they can.

If you're one of those people, know who you are; be outraged; even want to stone me; but Yehovah is stronger than you and me alike. One or more of the following applies to you, and may Yehovah convict you for it:

  1. You are a family member with some degree of seniority over me.
  2. You are a person with some degree of authority over me.
  3. You know that I am a Jew and a descendant of Jews, and of gentiles of Jewish descent. You may even be one of my ancestors or in at least one of the generations of at least one of them. 
  4. You know that I am the descendant of Crypto Jews and do not hide that I am a bat-Anusim.
  5. You know that I am a Messianic Jew and do not hide that I am Messianic.
  6. You know that there is truth outside of the Written Word (the Scriptures), and that God is proven true both inside and outside of Scripture--or else He would not be Omnipotent, Omniscient, and Omnipresent.
  7. You know that I have Cerebral Palsy, OCD/Anxiety, MDD, ADD, and IBS.
  8. You know that I am a survivor of abuse and have an otherwise-sordid--even though redeemable--family history. You may even be part of who affected or even caused the abuse and sordidness. 
  9. You know that especially 1, 2, 7, and 8 can be used to try to control me. You may have even used 1, 2, 7, and 8 to try to control me (e.g., what I post--v.g.--on my Facebook, Twitter, and YouTube accounts).
  10. You hypocritically cite the Constitution--v.g., the First Amendment--and claim yourself to be a Constitutionalist and a conservative.
Firstly, let me cite Amendment Nine for you: "The enumeration in the Constitution, of certain rights, shall not be construed to deny or disparage others retained by the people." Secondly, let me cite the Scriptures (since you may, after all, claim that that's the place wherein truth lies): "Whether it is right in the sight of God to listen to you more than to God, you judge." and "[I]f this plan or this work is of men, it will come to nothing;  but if it is of God, you cannot overthrow it—lest you even be found to fight against God." After all, the same Scriptures say that God did not call:
  1. The righteous, but the sinners.
  2. The well, but the sick.
  3. The wise, but the foolish.
  4. The scholars, but the unlearned.



Thirdly, more from the Scriptures will I cite! "For there is nothing hidden which will not be revealed, nor has anything been kept secret but that it should come to light." Don't play games with me, by the way--I'm not talking about Social Security numbers, home addresses, or other information that only you and certain other people need to know. I'm talking about, e.g., what was done to Vilmosz and his side of the Rusnak family, and--idem. v.q.--what we escaped from by becoming Anusim and what others may not know is in the Talmud. 


I've said my shalom. Now, so to speak, the ball's in your court. You can either try to keep having Power Over me or letting G-d have power over all of us.

Are Non-Messianic Jews Legalists?

I was writing a blog entry on Valentine's Day. Then this came up.


sees almost every day, if not every day, why Non-Messianic Jews have an excuse to laugh at us: our hypocritical, out-of-bounds legalism. For example, as much as I love Samuel Rodriguez, there is no way that I'm letting him get away with connecting Ash Wednesday to Tammuz. Even if (as his legalistic friend alleges, and he realleged) the sign of the Cross is connected to Tammuz and a costume thereof (of which I have never seen nor heard), the Church redeemed it. Ever heard of tikun-ha'olam? We don't implement it, though we have the strength given to us by Yeshua Ha'Mashiach; and then we wonder why Non-Messianic Jews find us to be hypocrites who have no real interest in tzedek.

    Where does having a clergyman paint black cross on your forehead as a sign of starting a fast, and go telling your friends what you gave up for lent, fit in even with the above commandment of your messiah?

    Thus, I'm not following your logic either from the Judaism side, or Messianic side.

In fact, Reform Judaism is very clear: "This early radicalism was mentioned in the 1885 Pittsburgh Platform, which dismisses "such Mosaic and rabbinical laws as regulate diet, priestly purity and dress" as anachronisms that only obstruct spirituality in the modern age. The platform stressed that Reform Jews must only be accepting of laws that they feel "elevate and sanctify our lives" and must reject those customs and laws that are "not adapted to the views and habits of modern civilization.""     Reform Judaism continues this thinking today: " Some institutions are considered to be a product of the cultural milieu and societal norms of the ancient Near East when the Hebrew Scriptures were written down, and do not speak to our lives today. In addition, Reform Jews do not ascribe to the Mishnah and Talmud the same authority which Orthodox Jews do.     Reform Judaism even mentions that Judaism is, or at least should not be, "frozen in time". Therefore, legalism would be--for example--following some "societal norms of the ancient Near East when the Hebrew Scriptures were written down"--giving over a slave's wife and children to his owner unless he has ear awled into a door. 

    Besides, Yeshua made a New Covenant, not a "Renewed Covenant". The Old Covenant remains for Non-Messianic Jews (which Karaites like yourself and others frankly get). The New Covenant and the spirit of the Old Covenant are for the Messianic Jew.

This is proven through documents from the 2nd century onward. Modern Messianic Jews, however, are the opposite, in most cases - being mainline evangelical protestants in beliefs and practice. How do you account for this?

By the way, Maccabees is not a part of Tanakh or Brit Chadashah.

The conclusion is that Non-Messianic Jews who follow all 613 mitzvot of Torah aren't legalists, because they have to follow all 613 mitzvot; whereas Messianic Jews who follow all 613 mitzvot, if they even are really Messianic, are legalists. Again, a New--not a Renewed--Covenant was made.

PS Good luck following Torah, James. Know that having fallen away is not a nice place to be in--you're still saved, but you will lose reward--the New Testament says that.
