Reilly and Camille: Eagles Fans and Prognosticators

Camille gave "Auntie Nicole" kisses on the hands and face when "Auntie Nicole" asked who will win the Superbowl. The interaction went something like this:

"Cam, who do you think will win the Superbowl: the Eagles [*kiss on the hand*] or the Patriots [no kiss]?"

"Are you sure?"

"[*kisses on the face*] "

"You are telling me that the Patriots will lose"?

"[*kiss on the hand*]"

Camille (who later got a treat for being a prognosticator regardless of whom she would've chosen) predicted the Broncos' win in 2016, and "Auntie Nicole" has to trust Camille's canintuition or puptution. "Auntie Nicole" as Reilly's "Momma" also has to trust Camille's puptution since Reilly (who did not care to give kisses like Camille did) picked the piece of treat that ended up being shaped like an eagle's head when "Momma" ended up breaking a treat into an eagle's head-shaped piece, a sort-of-Patriots-logo-shaped piece, and a piece that she had to put aside in order to have equal amounts of treat pieces in her hand. After all, "Momma" did a "blind test" (since she couldn't do the kisses-on-the-hands-and-face test) and did not lead Reilly to pick the Eagles piece in her left hand (Maybe Reilly figured out that Tom Brady is not a good guy).

PS:
  1. "Auntie Nicole"/"Momma" seems to have coined those terms for "canine intuition" and "puppy intution", as neither of those showed up on a Google search 🙂.
  2. She hates that "blind test" term unless the blind and visually-impaired community are okay with it. Maybe she should've used "random test", though "blind" and "random" are apparently not synonymous.
  3. Incidentally, Camille almost got picked up by a falcon or hawk once when she was small, although she was on a leash and "Mom-Mom" was able to pull her back quickly. Maybe that's why Reilly wanted the Patriots to win last time—puptution could've told Reilly that her cousin was almost picked up by a falcon (albe that Reilly could get—and still gets—jealous of and loves being alphess over her!).

Somewhat Offbeat: Was Reilly Right The First Time, Or Is Superbowl 51 Football's 1919 World Series?

Until "Momma" mentioned Tom Brady, Reilly wanted and predicted that the Patriots would win the Superbowl. While the Patriots did win and Reilly may have been right the first time (since "Momma" believes that animals can be prophets on certain matters, from small to grand matters, if God wills), something of the 1919 World Series smacks in Superbowl 2017. e.g.:

  1. Tom Brady and Bill Belichick (who the Ravens let go in 1999, by the way) had Donald Trump, just as the White Sox had Arnold Rothstein. The difference? The White Sox never had an equivalent of a Deflategate or a corrupt businessman-turned-Putin-abetting POTUS, and the Cincinatti Reds ended up winning, anyway.
  2. Donald Trump predicted (or "predicted"?) that the Patriots would win by eight points.
  3. The Patriots, like the White Sox, were "coming back after a rough season" (or something like that, as an NFL analyst put it about the Patriots).
By the way, Camille indicated to her "Mimi" that she also wanted the Atlanta Falcons to win. Reilly's "Momma", meanwhile, will keep everyone posted on what Reilly thinks about Superbowl 2017 (As "Momma" forestated, puppies can really sense even specific happenings.).

"The Shelby Bowl"! Maybe Not The Puppy Bowl, But Hey...

On Superbowl LI Eve, when everyone's out in the neighborhood (or rather, "Momma" is visiting Shelby & Reilly is walking with Camille, "Mom-Mom", and "Auntie Michelle")...

All of the canines and humans at the "Shelby Bowl" had an entertaining time, and the score was a three-way tie with no overtime!

Reilly's Super-d'oh! Prediction

Reilly licked and nosed "Momma"'s hand more times for the Patriots for whom she wants to win the Superbowl and for whom she thinks will win the Superbowl. At one point each, she licked "Momma"'s hand for "just don't care", "just like what's on ["Momma"'s] hand" (maybe a pizza smell?), and (at least once) for the Falcons for whom she wants to win the Superbowl. 💔

Luckily, neither the Ravens, the Steelers, nor the Eagles are playing the Patriots; and the neither the Ravens nor the Eagles are playing the Steelers—Reilly would give "Momma" a double 💔 if the Ravens or Eagles were playing the Patriots or the Steelers, and she predicted that the Patriots or the Steelers (unless the Steelers were playing the Patriots) would win the Superbowl! Camille already gave "Auntie Nicole" a heartbreak when she voted for the Broncos last year!

Besides, "Momma" has enough heartbreak upon heartbreak in her life.

The Seahawks, Like Moses and Jeremiah?

This reminds me of when the Golden Calf incident happened. Yet, how did the Seattle Seahawks sin? The New England Patriots cheated:

"And Moses besought יהוה his God, and said: 'יהוה, why doth Thy wrath wax hot against Thy people, that Thou hast brought forth out of the land of Egypt with great power and with a mighty hand? Wherefore should the Egyptians speak, saying: For evil did He bring them forth, to slay them in the mountains, and to consume them from the face of the earth? Turn from Thy fierce wrath, and repent of this evil against Thy people. Remember Abraham, Isaac, and Israel, Thy servants, to whom Thou didst swear by Thine own self, and saidst unto them: I will multiply your seed as the stars of heaven, and all this land that I have spoken of will I give unto your seed, and they shall inherit it for ever.' And יהוה repented of the evil which He said He would do unto His people."

I know that יהוה can and does show that cheating, etc. is not acceptable. Right now, though, the Seahawks must be feeling like Moses as they see the Egypt-like Patriots: "'Wherefore should the Egyptians speak, saying: For evil did He bring them forth, to slay them in the mountains, and to consume them from the face of the earth?'" They must also be feeling like Jeremiah:

Right wouldest Thou be, O ×™×”וה, were I to contend with Thee, yet will I reason with Thee: Wherefore doth the way of the wicked prosper? Wherefore are all they secure that deal very treacherously? Thou hast planted them, yea, they have taken root; they grow, yea, they bring forth fruit; Thou art near in their mouth, and far from their reins. But Thou, O ×™×”וה, knowest me, Thou seest me, and triest my heart toward Thee; pull them out like sheep for the slaughter, and prepare them for the day of slaughter.

I'm also thinking of, "Where is their God?" I'm even thinking "Does 'Thou shalt not steal' mean anything? Does 'Thou shalt not bear false witness against thy neighbor' mean anything? Does that יהוה hates dishonest scales and measures, and other forms of lying mean anything?"

Incidentally, why on Earth did יהוה assign Julian Edelman to a team that does not respect Him, the God of Julian's fathers?

Okay; Here's the Deal Regarding the Once-In-a-Lifetime, Unexpected Opportunity

As far as the opportunity, who would be willing to travel to New York with me to a Superbowl party? Long story short, I won two tickets from WABC Radio to their Big Game Party on the 19th—and it was seriously an unexpected opportunity. I actually thought that I would not win, but I did.

Nonetheless, I don't know with whom or how I would get to New York. I invited Mom to go with me and/or count it as my graduation gift, but she said that I'd have to find someone else to take if I was going to do. Also, I have no money for a flight—unless I win $1,000 or something (e.g., some kind of miracle happens). If anyone would be willing to take me up on the opportunity, please send me a private message (on Facebook or Twitter) or e-mail me, and I will send you the information.

PS Here's a conversation that I had with a friend about the matter—which shows you how badly I want to go. Originally, I had kept this specific news among only Facebook friends; so, that's why his or her name is not public, etc..

Also, I don't drive; so, I'd have to take the bus and subways.

Maybe From Now On, I'll Take More Computer Shabbats...

To have the day off from the computer, blogging, etc. was kind of nice since (so to speak) the Facebook, YouTube, Blogger, and other fields were allowed to fallow out and regrow some relevancy and view counts. Besides, I had a cough yesterday; so I napped in between finishing part of my reading for this weekend. I also did watch the Nevada Caucus results; and I turned off the coverage the moment that I couldn't stand Newt Gingrich's divisiveness and arrogance, since he started personally attacking Romney instead of going after Obama's even-deliberately-failed policies.

Meanwhile, I'm voting for the Giants because of Tiki Barber's arrogance toward Joe Coughlin and because of Tom Brady-- no me gusta Tiki Barber o Tomas Brady
