Weird Request: Go Sign The Petition By a Homosexual Georgia Couple

Here is the petition. As I stated, the couple are a professing Christian and a Reform Jew. "My wife and I are both small business owners, and like many American families, our family enjoys family vacations, going to church and temple, and large cookouts with our extended family, friends and community."

They also need the Gospel. Clearly, they are hostile to it and--at best--misunderstand what Dan Cathy believes and does. "Since 2003, Chick-fil-A has given more than $5 million to organizations that actively work to hurt LGBT Americans. These groups include the Family Research Council, which the Southern Poverty Law Center deems a hate group. Additionally, Chick-fil-A has donated to groups that have gone on record as calling for "criminal sanctions" against gay and lesbian Americans, as well as groups that promote so-called "ex-gay therapy," a practice both debunked and deemed as harmful by nearly every major medical authority in the country."

They do not understand that homosexuality--at best--is a thorn in the flesh with which many homosexuals struggle, and--at worst-- of "a "deprived mind," that marriage equality is "twisted up," and that making marriage equality legal is "inviting God's judgment."" Remember that Sodom and Gomorrah were destroyed for homosexuality, and--even though this is another discussion--even more spared for their homosexuality than some cities will be for merely refusing to believe in Jesus.

Dan Cathy and others are out to help, not hurt, homosexuals and others and to even save them. Therefore, for the sake of the Gospel (which is inherently Jewish) and the Christians like Dan Cathy who believe in the Gospel, go tell Marci and Marlysa Alt what I did: "I agree with Dan Cathy and hope that he can have a dialogue with you about what Evangelical Christians believe and why we believe it."

If you can't tell them as I--a Jewish Evangelical Christian--told them, tell them that you at least believe in Dan Cathy's right to believe and discuss--even if you don't agree with--Evangelical Christian (Messianic Jewish) views. After all, if nothing else, why should Dan Cathy deprive a Jew like Marlysa Alt of the Gospel if he truly believes Romans 1:16 and 10:13-15? Also, why equally deprive a gentile like Marcia Alt of the Gospel that a Jewish man (Jesus, Yeshua) literally died (and rose) to preach to both Jews and gentiles?

I Will Never Talk About Chapelgate Presbyterian Church After This Again...

I have blogged all too copiously and extensively about Chapelgate. I have made my point unequivocally clear. I will never talk about Chapelgate again and do not want anyone here to talk about it unless you absolutely must-- which I assure that you probably musn't. If you'd had a bad experience with Chapelgate, however, feel free to share your experience on your own volition-- I will not pursue anyone to share anything and will also not publish anything that anyone does not want me to share.

As with Notre Dame, I once loved Chapelgate, was once a member of its community, and was very stunned to learn that it defines its own motto differently than I thought that its motto meant. Even though I now rank Notre Dame and Chapelgate as similar and a harbor a dislike for them in general, I still have to love and pray for them; and I certainly do not dislike or expect everyone there to hold themselves to account-- not everyone there has wronged me and my family, and anyone else. I can tell you that others besides me were wronged both at Notre Dame and Chapelgate, by the way; which is all I will further say besides that I draw parallels between Notre Dame and Chapelgate for good reasons.

I stand by everything which I have said about both Notre Dame and Chapelgate, even if I could've been more patient and civil in my tone. I mean only to be honest about both, especially Chapelgate at this time. An honest person is obviously about those about those who he or she loves, for good or bad. "Open rebuke is better [t]han love carefully concealed. Faithful are the wounds of a friend, [b]ut the kisses of an enemy are deceitful." (Proverbs 27:5-6)

But as I stated, I will never talk about Chapelgate Presbyterian Church after this again. Even if I lose friends over what I have said and over not talking about Chapelgate anymore, so be that "[t]he poor man is hated even by his own neighbor, [b]ut the rich has many friends." (Proverbs 14:20).

I Can Only Bear So Much For So Long, And Am Extremely Patient Considering...

Isaiah 42:13-15

New King James Version (NKJV)
13 The LORD shall go forth like a mighty man;
He shall stir up His zeal like a man of war.
      He shall cry out, yes, shout aloud;
He shall prevail against His enemies.

Promise of the LORD’s Help
14 “ I have held My peace a long time,
I have been still and restrained Myself.
Now I will cry like a woman in labor,
I will pant and gasp at once.
15 I will lay waste the mountains and hills,
      And dry up all their vegetation;
I will make the rivers coastlands,
And I will dry up the pools.

Since the L-rd will get impatient, how much more a human? "‘The LORD is longsuffering and abundant in mercy, forgiving iniquity and transgression; but He by no means clears the guilty, visiting the iniquity of the fathers on the children to the third and fourth generation.’" (Numbers 14:18) Humans aren't like this, and I'm not the most-patient person in the world; and I can only take so much.

For example, at Notre Dame: I talked to Dr. Weiss, Dr. Berry, et. al. before telling Dr. Weiss "I'm tired of your Anti Semitism". I long had to hear how the Exodus was merely "an ancient peasant rebellion" according to Dr. Lyle Weiss, STD (who is no such position to be a Sacrae Theologiae doctor). I had to hear how the prophets may've been possibly inspired by the devil when a girl asked if that the prophets may have been so inspired was possible. And when my mom came in, I had her stay out of it until that awful conference with Dr. Franklin, Sister Sharon Kanis, and hoodwinking Melissa Lees (who made herself seem like she was against Drs. Weiss and Berry, and the whole RST Department, were teaching).

Also re Chapelgate: the only thing that I regret is ever apologizing to Mike Khandjian when he called the Ark of the Covenant "a holy piece of furniture" and I apologized for confronting him. Never will I apologize for confronting someone when they call what held the Ten Commandments and the Mercy Seat "a holy piece of furniture" again. And Cathy Dallwig (as far as I know) was in church that day. Where was the Caring Coordinator when Jewish members had to face an Anti-Semitic attack from the pastor? How caring is to say to Jews, in other words, "Your Ark of the Covenant was nothing more than a piece of furniture"?

And then the ride thing, of course. Imagine that I not to come to church for so long because I committed suicide or died of a disability-related accident? Can the dead reach out and ask for help? A Caring Coordinator or Director of Caring is supposed to notice when a member doesn't show up for a while, care that the member's not showing up, reach out to the member, and say, "Hey; you haven't shown up to church for a while. Is everything okay?"

I am more than patient; I just don't tolerate b***s***.

For Any Jew, Disabled Person, and Divorcee or Child Thereof, I Do Not Recommend Chapelgate Presbyterian Church...

Being a Jewish child of divorce with Diplegic Spastia Cerebral Palsy, I actually recommend against Chapelgate Presbyterian Church. Having experienced quite the opposite of "Healing, Renewal, Peace"; I can tell you that I experienced hurt, apostasy, and chaos. I vowed not to run from Chapelgate; but as stands, I more than consider myself churchless at this point, and for good reason as many other people (including fellow Messianic Jews) do. By the way, I leave apostate Chapelgate with the following from the non-apostate New King James Version (since the NIV has been proven to be utmostly apostate):

The Lukewarm Church

14 “And to the angel of the church of the Laodiceans[f] write,
‘These things says the Amen, the Faithful and True Witness, the Beginning of the creation of God: 15 “I know your works, that you are neither cold nor hot. I could wish you were cold or hot. 16 So then, because you are lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot,[g] I will vomit you out of My mouth. 17 Because you say, ‘I am rich, have become wealthy, and have need of nothing’—and do not know that you are wretched, miserable, poor, blind, and naked— 18 I counsel you to buy from Me gold refined in the fire, that you may be rich; and white garments, that you may be clothed, that the shame of your nakedness may not be revealed; and anoint your eyes with eye salve, that you may see. 19 As many as I love, I rebuke and chasten. Therefore be zealous and repent. 20 Behold, I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears My voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and dine with him, and he with Me. 21 To him who overcomes I will grant to sit with Me on My throne, as I also overcame and sat down with My Father on His throne.
22 “He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches.”’”

Why I'm Not Running From Chapelgate Presbyterian Church, Even Though...

The pastor hates me. He's a real Anti Semite and hates that I confronted him over calling the Ark of the Covenant "a holy piece of furniture" and that I once mentioned on Facebook that Togarmah (Armenia) is mentioned in Ezekiel 38. But I didn't ask ol' Mike Khandjian whether a disabled, mixed-blooded Jew is welcome to Chapelgate or not. Meanwhile, I take that apology for confronting him back. The Ark of the Covenant is no piece of furniture.

I also didn't ask the rest of the congregation whether a disabled, mixed-blooded Jew and child of divorce with an abusive and estranged dad could stay. I was already forced to run when I was in elementary school from Christ Episcopal Church in Columbia, Maryland over a whole bunch of issues that I later found out about, though I knew that the former interim pastor Peter was homosexual and actively homosexual. I'm not running from another church.

And I'm a coward for caving in to some family pressure by saying Kaddish and not talking about Dad, Pop-Pop, etc.. I'm not caving in on Chapelgate Presbyterian Church.

Don't Let Legalistic Grinches Steal Christ-Mass, Chag Mashiach

"Stand fast therefore in the liberty by which Christ has made us free,[a] and do not be entangled again with a yoke of bondage." (Galtians 5:1, NKJV) If anyone gives you drek about Christmas (Chag Mashiach), Easter (Chag HaT'khiyah Mashiach), etc.; tell them to go do their homework and learn the actual origins, not the origins of what they were alternatives to.

Matters like this have "occurred because of false brethren secretly brought in (who came in by stealth to spy out our liberty which we have in Christ Jesus, that they might bring us into bondage), to whom we did not yield submission even for an hour, that the truth of the gospel might continue with you." (Galatians 2:4-5)

When Legalism Sprouts Up The Most

I notice that Halloween, Thanksgiving, Christmas, and Easter are the times when legalism sprouts up the most; all because of what each originally historically coincided with and were in fact meant to be alternatives to-- the Celtic Pagan Fall Harvest, the believed-to-be Sukkot celebration of the Puritans gone wrong and long left un-recelebrated, the Greco-Roman Winter Solstice, and the likewise Spring Solstice.

The Early Church created Christmas as 'Am Yisra'el created Hanukah, both to counter the Winter Solstice. The Early Church also created Halloween and Easter to counter the Celtic Pagan Fall Harvest and Greco-Roman Pagan Spring Solstice.

Thanksgiving is another discussion.

Don't let P'rushim and other legalists streal your freedom to observe alternative-to-paganism, Christ-centered mo'edim v'chagim.

Are Christmas and Hanukkah Pagan? The Answer Is, Based On History and Other Factors...

Christmas and Hanukkah are both not pagan, and were actually created as alternatives to (respectively) the Winter Solstice and a Greek Pagan holiday. Google "Is Hanukkah pagan?", by the way. I once did after someone asserted that it may be or is. I was shocked.

Anyway, Christmas was originally "Christ-mass" or Chag Mashiach, created as an alternative by the Early Church to the pagan Winter Solstice and coinciding pagan holidays. Similarly, Hanukkah-- thought by some to be a late celebration of Sukkot-- was created to replace the celebration of the desecration of the Temple and a dedication to a pagan god. Some Hellinized and other Jews would only go so far in terms of Hellenization and toleration thereof, and would certainly not accept the Temple being destroyed.

Therefore, we have two Winter mo'edim v'chagim which are alternatives to Greco-Roman Pagan holidays.

I Know That Shabbat's Today & That I'm Not To Hold A Grudge, But...

Since "Marcela" is trending on Twitter, I'm going to take the opportunity to remind everybody why my cousin Marcela J. "Mia" Danilowicz needs to be boycotted. By the way I didn't even write that Pop-Pop is a murderer when I mentioned him as being related to us; and as I've said, all I did was say that he was an IRS Agent who served tax papers to Nixon (which is true) and that Marcela's our cousin and a fashion designer (which is true).

I forgive and don't begrudge, but I don't pretend that the incident never happened or make the incident a repressed memory or memory to be wiped out of my memory bank. Besides, those posts promoted Mia and said that we're also not related to that Anti Semite Stefan Czarniecki-- and I'm a "fucking psycho"?

I'm not supporting or promoting anyone-- especially any family member-- who treats me and others like crap, and who threatens frivolous and unnecessary legal action against someone. By the way, using a lawyer as a threat is not cool-- our legal system is clogged up enough and has real problems to deal with.

How Are We Related?
My understanding (given your last name) is that we're related through my great-granddad Czarn(i)ecki's paternal grandmother, Katarzyna Danilowicza Czarniecka. But I'm wondering how we're specifically related through her or her family line. In other words, are we both descended from her (meaning we'd be x-degree cousins or x-times-removed cousins, like 4th or 4-times-removed cousins) or descended from her dad or granddad (meaning we'd be like 5th or five-times-removed cousins)?
I understand that you've seen that I'm looking for Danilowicz, Czarniecki, et. al. relatives (which is why you added me as a friend?); and I'm just trying to (if you will) connect the dots, and I honestly thought that my chances of connecting with a Danilowicz, or Czarniecki, or other cousin who's from or even still over in Poland were probably little to none (especially at this point).
By the way, correct me if any of my understanding is wrong and/or totally missing the mark. Thanks.

Can We End Hunger and Poverty? Not In This Lifetime...

Mark 14:6-9

New King James Version (NKJV)

6 But Jesus said, “Let her alone. Why do you trouble her? She has done a good work for Me. 7 For you have the poor with you always, and whenever you wish you may do them good; but Me you do not have always. 8 She has done what she could. She has come beforehand to anoint My body for burial. 9 Assuredly, I say to you, wherever this gospel is preached in the whole world, what this woman has done will also be told as a memorial to her.”

And

John 12

New King James Version (NKJV)

1 Then, six days before the Passover, Jesus came to Bethany, where Lazarus was who had been dead,[a] whom He had raised from the dead. 2 There they made Him a supper; and Martha served, but Lazarus was one of those who sat at the table with Him. 3 Then Mary took a pound of very costly oil of spikenard, anointed the feet of Jesus, and wiped His feet with her hair. And the house was filled with the fragrance of the oil.
4 But one of His disciples, Judas Iscariot, Simon’s son, who would betray Him, said, 5 “Why was this fragrant oil not sold for three hundred denarii[b] and given to the poor?” 6 This he said, not that he cared for the poor, but because he was a thief, and had the money box; and he used to take what was put in it.
7 But Jesus said, “Let her alone; she has kept[c] this for the day of My burial. 8 For the poor you have with you always, but Me you do not have always.”

Luke 7:36-40

New King James Version (NKJV)

A Sinful Woman Forgiven
36 Then one of the Pharisees asked Him to eat with him. And He went to the Pharisee’s house, and sat down to eat. 37 And behold, a woman in the city who was a sinner, when she knew that Jesus sat at the table in the Pharisee’s house, brought an alabaster flask of fragrant oil, 38 and stood at His feet behind Him weeping; and she began to wash His feet with her tears, and wiped them with the hair of her head; and she kissed His feet and anointed them with the fragrant oil. 39 Now when the Pharisee who had invited Him saw this, he spoke to himself, saying, “This Man, if He were a prophet, would know who and what manner of woman this is who is touching Him, for she is a sinner.”
40 And Jesus answered and said to him, “Simon, I have something to say to you.”
So he said, “Teacher, say it.”
We know that this Mary was Miryam Ha'Achot-Eliezer v'Marta. Another Mary, Miryam m'Migdal, was healed of seven demons (cf. Mark 16:9, Luke 8:2). And they weren't taken out of all their pain, hunger, and suffering right away. But something kept them going. A most-important hunger and thirst was fulfilled. What was it? Hatoldah shel HaShomronit Yehudit can tell you:
A woman of Samaria came to draw water. Jesus said to her, “Give Me a drink.” 8 For His disciples had gone away into the city to buy food.
9 Then the woman of Samaria said to Him, “How is it that You, being a Jew, ask a drink from me, a Samaritan woman?” For Jews have no dealings with Samaritans.
10 Jesus answered and said to her, “If you knew the gift of God, and who it is who says to you, ‘Give Me a drink,’ you would have asked Him, and He would have given you
living water.” 11 The woman said to Him, “Sir, You have nothing to draw with, and the well is deep. Where then do You get that living water? 12 Are You greater than our father Jacob, who gave us the well, and drank from it himself, as well as his sons and his livestock?”
13 Jesus answered and said to her, “Whoever drinks of this water will thirst again, 14 but whoever drinks of the water that I shall give him will never thirst. But the water that I shall give him will become in him a fountain of water springing up into everlasting life.”
15 The woman said to Him, “Sir, give me this water, that I may not thirst, nor come here to draw.”

(A Parsha Katan: Mayim L'Chaim)

And
The Bread from Heaven
22 On the following day, when the people who were standing on the other side of the sea saw that there was no other boat there, except that one which His disciples had entered,[c] and that Jesus had not entered the boat with His disciples, but His disciples had gone away alone— 23 however, other boats came from Tiberias, near the place where they ate bread after the Lord had given thanks— 24 when the people therefore saw that Jesus was not there, nor His disciples, they also got into boats and came to Capernaum, seeking Jesus. 25 And when they found Him on the other side of the sea, they said to Him, “Rabbi, when did You come here?”
26 Jesus answered them and said, “Most assuredly, I say to you, you seek Me, not because you saw the signs, but because you ate of the loaves and were filled. 27 Do not labor for the food which perishes, but for the food which endures to everlasting life, which the Son of Man will give you, because God the Father has set His seal on Him.”
28 Then they said to Him, “What shall we do, that we may work the works of God?”
29 Jesus answered and said to them, “This is the work of God, that you believe in Him whom He sent.”
30 Therefore they said to Him, “What sign will You perform then, that we may see it and believe You? What work will You do? 31 Our fathers ate the manna in the desert; as it is written, ‘He gave them bread from heaven to eat.’[d]
32 Then Jesus said to them, “Most assuredly, I say to you, Moses did not give you the bread from heaven, but My Father gives you the true bread from heaven. 33 For the bread of God is He who comes down from heaven and gives life to the world.”
34 Then they said to Him, “Lord, give us this bread always.”
35 And Jesus said to them, “I am the bread of life. He who comes to Me shall never hunger, and he who believes in Me shall never thirst. 36 But I said to you that you have seen Me and yet do not believe. 37 All that the Father gives Me will come to Me, and the one who comes to Me I will by no means cast out. 38 For I have come down from heaven, not to do My own will, but the will of Him who sent Me. 39 This is the will of the Father who sent Me, that of all He has given Me I should lose nothing, but should raise it up at the last day. 40 And this is the will of Him who sent Me, that everyone who sees the Son and believes in Him may have everlasting life; and I will raise him up at the last day.”

(A Parsha Katan: Lechem M'Shamayim)

As for me, I've admittedly had to Google and otherwise online-wise learn HaLashon shel Avoti; since I myself (as I've explained several times) never got the chance to get Ivrit or Yidish passed down to me. But that's a part of the hunger and thirst that I've had to have fulfilled: first coming to Mashiach and then having to discover b'Ezrat Mashiach a heritage and a chosenness that I missed for much of my life-- and a heritage that is much more fulfilling than the Anusi, Self-Hating heritage that my dad and his parents (and much of our family) had, has, and sadly continues to have lived with.

So I in my own situation-- as both Miryams and the Shomronit Yehudit learned in their own situations-- that one may not be able to end physical or other hungers right away and in this lifetime; but one can-- b'Ezrat Mashiach-- fulfill spiritual hunger, which is the most-important hunger to fulfill.

I Finally Got A Name Submitted To Masada2000.org... And I Seriously Don't Care To Remain Anonyomous...

I got Self-Hating Levi and British Prime Minister David Cameron added for his abandoning of the Jewish National Fund and for supporting the Gaza flotilla. David Cameron could've obviously suggested "Hey; let's give Pleshet (Philista) back to the Pleshetim (Palestinians, aka "Philistines") and have it ruled by Yehudah as in the days of old." But PM Cameron had to support the Gaza flotilla instead of using his power and clout to restore toldot shel Yehoshua ben Nun v'shalom-- so he couldn't get history and peace back on the right track?

Palestine is in Yehudah, which doesn't take rocket science to figure out.

No Matter Who In the Family Abuses or Persecutes Me, I Won't Be Quiet or Self Defenseless Anymore

I'm not a Chamberlain. I'm not a Dubeck. In fact, Great-Grandma Gaydos was enough of an American Chamberlain and kapo, and she cost many of our family members' lives by refusing to help them make aliyah. As for Dubeck, he led then Czechoslovakia but cowed to the then USSR, making Czechoslovakia a USSR state-- part of which made life harder for remaining Ashkenazic Jews in the Diaspora, my Anusi mishpacha included.

I will do as Great-Grandma Czarnecki did-- "talk about it". "It" is our family history; good, bad, and ugly, and redeemable and irredeemable. I'm not going to lie or stay silent when I find something out if I don't have to (and there are two matters which I wish that I could discuss; but for the sake of the family members who told me of the matters, I am keeping quiet until they talk about them or let me talk about them).

I will not be abused, persecuted, threatened, or otherwise mistreated (Matt, Marcela, and others, pay attention; you will find me defending myself against any tactic that you try to use against me. Jesus-- Yeshua veyn kol 'am-- defended Himself and turned the other cheek, not only turned the other cheek.). I will not be silent about any matter that comes to light because of another family member or another person: if the matter needs to be confirmed, I'll confirm it; if denied, I'll deny it. I'm going to be truthful whether you like it or not.

And if being truthful includes boycotting the professionals in our family for being untruthful, abusive, or otherwise inappropriate, so be it.

I Urged a Boycott of My Cousin Matt Turner (mjturner916), So To Be Fair...

I'm going to urge a boycott of another cousin: fashion designer Marcela J. Danilowicz. The following conversation and explanatory posts will underscore why:

If you feel that way, then you shouldn't have added me as a friend or acknowledged me as a relative in the first. Also, everything that I wrote is true to the best of my knowledge.

There is no lie whatsoever in the Urban Dictionary posts, which read as follows...

Never mind. She did contact Urban Dictionary. If she contacts her lawyer, I myself will contact a lawyer in turn and work to have those Urban Dictionary posts reinstated. She has no legitimate case, and no legitimacy shall be given to her. I simply explained the etymology and history of Danilowicz, of Czarnecki (Chernetski), and of my family history in connection to those two-- in which she was mentioned as an aspiring fashion designer and a relative of mine.

As hard as boycotting and encouraging boycotts of family members is; immoral, unethical, and otherwise-inappropriate behavior will and should not be encouraged by me, or encouraged by anyone else. Boycotting mjturner916 and Marcela J. Danilowicz as, respectively, a musician and a designer will show that the public (including family members) will not tolerate or accept immoral, unethical, and otherwise-inappropriate-- including unjust-- treatment of family members or others by professionals in any field, including music and fashion design.

"I'm Gonna Smile"- And Not Because I'm Happy, But Because I Can Be Joyful

And even though there are moments where I don't feel that I forgive you and I say the opposite of it, I forgive you and I'm going to forgive you-- not because I forgive you, but because I've been forgiven. And I'm going to have moments when I say that I hate you, but I have to love you even if I intensely dislike you-- because I was loved first, and not by you. And it's like I told someone in the Casey Anthony case:

I don't agree with Geraldo and the jury, but I agree that the hate against Geraldo is uncalled for. Not that I think that hate against anyone else-- even against Casey and Jose Baez-- is okay, but I understand people being very angry about what happened. I think that we can hate what happened without hating any of the parties involved.

Same thing with you and Great-Grandma Gaydos-- among others-- regarding Pepi, Vilmosz, and others who you have hurt and betrayed over the years (and you've ultimately hurt yourselves)-- I'm learning to forgive you all.

I'm learning to forgive and forget-- not forget as in forget to ponder in my heart, but forget as in don't begrudge even though I'll have learned from experience and still be wary, and understand and know what to do (and because G-d will help me deal with what I need to deal with, and help me deal with who I need to deal with).

Kevin Still Hates That We're Jewish-- He Thinks That I'm Advocating Apostasy; But I'm Actually, Among Other Things, Holding Great-Granduncle Carl Up As a Hero

First, the part where I supplemented my original reply:

http://econlog.econlib.org/archives/2011/03/the_depths_of_f.html

Even more pro-FDR sources are conceding (even if between the lines) that FDR was a notorious, pro-Grand Mufti, pro-Hitler Anti Semite.

In a message... [I wrote]:

http://www.newsweek.com/1994/04/17/did-fdr-betray-the-jews.html

So why did Great-Grandma let the Anti Semites and Anti Missionaries scare her into enabling the murder of Vilmosz, David, Pepi, and their side of the family? Great-Granduncle Carl didn't.

In a message, [Kevin, who is being cocky and actually being rude as well as assuming in his position that the letters couldn't have been translated or that I could read at least the dates in Slovakian and/or maybe even Yidish] writes:
No mistake was uncovered. You wouldn't be able to read the letters anyway because they are written in Slovak. I don't appreciate your rudeness after the help I gave you in your genealogical quest...

My original reply:

I'm not trying to be rude, but I'm being blunt. Besides, as I said, " if the letters weren't so bad, why did Grandaunt Mary Ann not give the dates or specific contents of the letters?" Both of us have seen that this is a clear pattern in certainly the Fosko Family (I never heard that your great-granddad was sent away, let alone that you existed, for example!).

These cover ups (so many of them) have divided our family on our common and all sides right here in America; and some of us aren't even talking to each other because of the "Who's not telling what?" and "Who's hiding what?" games? Besides, how can we forgive and bring redemption into and out of family situations which we don't even know-- or talk-- about?

Whenever I heard Andrew and Julia Fosko Rusnak spoken of-- they were immigrants from Slovakia or Czechoslovakia who married in 1905, had kids, etc.. Never did I know that our family (even if I disagreed with some of the intent of their decisions)-- for example-- came over here to escape persecution after we couldn't assimilate in Slovakia; and many of us weren't just Crypto Jews (although some were, which is where I disagree with the intent: regardless of the meshuga AntiSemitism in the Church, we should've given Jesus a chance in our lives; and if and when our relatives thought that we were joining the traitors, so what?! And many of us were Jews who believed in Jesus; we were just too damned afraid and too damned quiet to emphasize that part) .

Truth is a lot better (even if stranger and more disquieting) than fiction. By the way, I look at Great-Granduncles Andy, Carl, and Joe all the more as heroes for their going over there (Well, Great-Granduncles Carl and Joe were able to; but on the homefront, there was still Anti Semitism and also that "You can't be a Jew for Jesus!" attitude that Great-Granduncle Andy had to deal with every day!).

And for example, with Great-Granduncle Carl; how would you have liked to ever have the possibility that you may have to step into especially Czechoslovakia and Hungary if the war took you there, particularly when the Germans were looking for Jewish (even Messianic (Christian) Jewish) military personnel and civilians to kidnap and ship off to murder and POW-murder camps? And given that the Rusnaks were a prominent family in Kosice, (Czecho)Slovakia (Kassa, Hungary); the Germans and other Anti Semites would be on the lookout for Rusnaks trying to come in and help Vilmosz et. al.-- and other Jewish people trying to help others.

(By the way, I'm not saying that, that excuses Great-Grandma's stopping to write either: letters seemed bad enough to smuggle; but Great-Granduncle Carl put himself there for his country and fellow Jews in and who were certainly at risk because the Holocaust-- even if you were in a Jew in the Allied Countries, you were at risk; and actually, that's part of why Great-Grandma should've helped instead of hurt Vilmosz et. al. all the more: so to speak and pardon my language, screw FDR and his isolationist, pro-UN and pro-Grand Mufti, Anti-Jewish and Anti-Israel policies!

(FDR was a known Anti Semite who wanted to not just stay out of ending the Holocaust and out of World War, but also to hurt the Jews and-- for a lack of a better term and if you will, since this how Anti Semites like FDR would've thought-- "let Europe take care of the Jews". FDR actually even wrote a letter saying that he did not support the founding of a Jewish state in the Middle East, and he appointed Bernard Baruch as his scapegoat to take blame for what was often called "The Jew Deal".)

Given, then, the example of the recollection of FDRs and other Anti-Semitic WASPs-- and Anti-Semitic Europe-- on one hand, and the Antimissionary (Anti-Messianic-Jewish) crowd on the other; Great-Granduncles Carl, Joseph, and Andy, and others who have a place of honor within the family history and within history; shouldn't we at least tell what really happened to honor those who did the right thing and brought redemption into and out of our family, instead of covering even the good up with the bad?

As I said, for instance, Great-Granduncle Carl did put himself over there knowing that the European Theater could take him in the footsteps of his parents and right into the hands of Germans who were looking for more Jewish Rusnaks and other Jews to kidnap and imprison in murder camps-- and what Mary Rusnak Gaydos did makes her brother Carl all the braver and more righteous: Sgt. Carl Rusnak basically stood up and said by standing up, "I'm going to go over there and help our family, help our fellow Jews, and help my native country-- even if many of them don't like Jews! I'm not going to let the Anti Semites and Antimissionaries scare me out of doing the right thing."

So Let Her Dock My Grade; She Claims That She Wants Our Reflections re Her Sociology Class

My honest reflection on the Sociology class necessitates that my professor and others find me stating in no uncertain terms that I found the class to be a (so to speak) refresher crash course on just how bad liberalism and relativism is. Not that the like the Far Right, either; but if I were a Far Righter, sitting in that class and reading the propaganda of Drs. Kerry Ferris and Jill Stein would affect me so that I would come to hate sociology and sociologists, relativism and relativists, and liberalism and liberals altogether. I understand that The Real World (both the hidden-curriculum manifesto put together by Drs. Ferris and Stein, and the actual world itself) is more on the George Sorosesque (e.g., MoveOn.org) and Charles Darwinian side than any other side; but talk about verstehen, tolerance, etc.--there was obviously none of that for traditional, Jewish-Christian, and moderate-conservative worldviews and cultures in the book or the class.
