Keeping Mitzvot Is Causing Others To Stumble? Since When?

Truth may absolutely hurt, but.... For example, a friend asked why some consider him or her to be part of the Hebrew Roots and/or Sacred Movement cults. I replied, "To be fair, I think that they're just being honest. To want to keep all 613 mitzvot (some of which are in contradistinction to the New Covenant) is one thing, but to tell others to keep Torah lest they be pagan or not living for Yehovah is another." Now, do I--for example--keep at least some of the 613 mitzvot? Yes. For example, I do try to wear my tallit every day, and I looked up (for a lack of better wordage) tallit etiquette and answers to questions that I had about wearing a tallit (Remember that my family were and are Anusim.). But am I going to tell others to wear a tallit? No.

In fact, someone bluntly told me the followi
ng after I answered his question about whether I'm Messianic, and asked if he wanted a Messianic to further support his business: "It sounds like you are asking me in good faith, with pure intentions and not just trying to pick a fight, so I will be straight with you. I have struggled with that question for a while, and have not achieved crystal clarity. To be honest, I would prefer not to sell a tallit with tzitzit. I don't see why a Christian, regardless of their enthusiasm for biblical practices, needs kosher tzitzit. However, if a Christian is really serious, really wants to keep the mitzvah of tzitzit, is willing to take the trouble to learn to tie the tzitzit and spend an hour doing it, then I don't really have any grounds to object."

So, trying to keep all 613 mitzvot, including the mitzvah l'tzitziyot, may actually even cause Non-Messianic Jews to stumble. In other words, if you're going to keep the mitzvot that are still valid under the New Covenant, don't be legalistic lest cause anyone to stumble with them.

Why Hanukkah?

"Hanukkah" literally means "dedication". In the Books of Maccabees (which refers to the Kohenic dynasty of the Maccabees), the story of how the Maccabee Family took the Temple back from the Syrians and Greeks who had desecrated it is told. Originally meant to belatedly celebrate Sukkot, Hanukkah became the remembrance and celebration of the retaking of the Temple.
The Pharisees set up the traditions for how Hanukkah is to be celebrated. They relate that one of the Maccabees could not find enough oil for the menorah to be lit continually, but only for a night. The oil instead let the menorah be lit for eight days, according to those same Pharisees.
Jesus celebrated Hanukkah. So, Hanukkah as a historic event really did happen, but the Books of Maccabees are not part of Tanakh.

Maybe I'm Trying To Justify Myself Here, But...

So what? For:

  1. , Michelle has a boyfriend; I don't have one. So why not buy myself a few items--some of which are free (excepting the worth-it shipping costs) and promoting charity; others of which are both life investments and going 5% toward charity; and two of which are life investments (one for university spirit , and one for religious reasons)?
  2. , it's my SSI Money. Besides, given Reason #1, I'm making life investments with them. Also, why can't I have First Amendment Rights (e.g., the kippah and tallit) if people on welfare can be TVs, cars, blingy jewelry, and X-Box sets--among other things?
  3. , I just gave Michelle a bit of it to use for her campus card.
  4. , I bought a kippah (which I've needed, anyway; since I don't know what Jason would do if he caught me wearing one of the JSU-provided ones, and wearing kippot is a Biblical option for women) and an American-Israeli flag pin (to replace the one that I lost)--and both of which are the 5%-charity items (since JewishSource partnered with the International Fellowship of Christians and Jews, and the haredim considered the IFCJ trief ). I also bought a Messianic tallit--again, a life investment.
  5. , I plan on--G-d willing--wearing the kippah and tallit at least at Shabbat at UMBC and wherever else, and New Heritage Church and wherever else--if not daily--for the rest of my life. I also plan on wearing the American-Israeli flag pin daily for the rest of my life.
  6. , Look at the picture and its caption below. Right now, I am wearing five of the free charity items that I've worn daily since I got them--and you can't see the American flag pin that I'm wearing (with will become Dubru's when--G-d willing--I get the other pin), but I'm wearing it. One item I sadly lost (the glass keychain--it fell off and broke), and the bracelet that I first got is now a keychain--since I can no longer wear it, since it was falling apart.
  7. , speaking of Dubru the University Spirit Teddy Bear, I actually held him during the debate to keep my anxiety--e.g., over my IBS and peeing myself during the long debate--down; and he's currently sitting on my pillow. I--G-d willing--may also pass him down to any children and grandchildren who I have.
  8. I considered and searched a long time for a worthy tallit--G-d led me to a Messianic one.
I could go on, but you get the point.

Guatemalan bracelet, "Home Is Where Your Pet Is" bracelet, grass-woven bracelet, "Live, Laugh, Love" ring--which could fit only on middle finger--, American flag pin--all of which come from the GreaterGood Network. On my person, but not shown: the American flag pin and the keychain, which is on my purse on my said person.

I guess that part of the reason that I'm feeling guilt, too, is that I know that Mom could flip--Jewish guilt, although Mom (as far as we know) is a gentile (or mostly gentile, anyway)! Also, Dad did never give me but $40 for the past four or so birthdays--so, consider the kippah, pin, and tallit (since he claims to be a Messianic Jew, and I'm Jewish through him), and Dubru his birthday presents to me (and treats to myself, since--among the other reasons that I gave--I don't have a boyfriend and I'm making life investments, anyway).

I Couldn't Resist...

I got him at the UMBC Bookstore for the sake of University Spirit, since it is Homecoming Season (I used Campus Cash.) and so that I could have something by which to remember UMBC--and after all the trouble that I put the cashiers through to make sure that I wouldn't get one made in Indonesia as the others are (since he was made in China--the lesser of two evils). His Spanish nickname is "Oside" (for "Osito de la Espiritu Universitario"), his Hebrew nickname "Dubru" ("Dubi-Ru'ach-Ha'Universita").

Another Blog Shabbat Yesterday...

It was semi unintentional (I ran out of time.). Nonetheless, I must be (so to speak) racking up Shabbatot this week (Sunday and Wednesday) for some reason--maybe something big in which I can't take Blog Shabbatot must be about to happen. Incidentally, Chodesh Elul is supposed to happen on the 19th (and rekeeping track of the date, it is the 26 of Av, 27th tonight); so that could have something to do with it--though the summer's been quite eventful!

What Constitutes "Lies R Us" And Other Personal Attacks?

With all due respect to Bill O'Reilly, one can't say that--for example--that part of "Lies R Us" includes calling out my family, asking the legitimate questions about Toby Keith and exposing Cathy Dallwig (the so-called "Caring Director"), Mike Khandjian (the "pastor" who called the Aron HaB'rit a "holy piece of furniture") and the rest of Chapelgate Presbyterian Church, even though I vowed never to talk about them again, though they remain as-yet unapologetic examples.

By the way, I have never received an apology once. I did, however, during that contentious time, receive a lawsuit threat from Steve Dallwig--sorry, bud; but your wife's a public figure within a known religious institution, and--as far as I know--I was generous not to mention or even much remember your catty lawsuit threat until now. Also, the people who are making people run in droves from the Church nowadays and into, say, Buddhism and Atheism are people like you and your "Caring Director" wife--who is supposed to reach out to people like me when we go AWOL from church, because (for example) our disabilities leave us  from being able to ride to church (which, thank G-d, mine did) or even crippled in corners within our own houses and dead (and what a shame having a dead body of a church, now-ex, church member would've been if the case were that I wasn't coming to church because I was dead and nobody from Chapelgate--e.g., the "Caring Director"--called my house or e-mailed to ask if I was okay). By the way, I give credit to one church member for reaching out to me during that time (the aspects of which still crawl under my skin from time and time), and that church member certainly isn't among the Dallwigs.

Therefore--as I said--,with all due respect to Bill O'Reilly and using the Dallwigs as examples, I am (and others aren't) engaging in "Lies R Us", "personal attacks", and "smearing"--I am (and others are) following the advice to "Call it like you see it"; especially when "it" concerns even apparently-low-level, supposedly-private-citizen figures like the Dallwigs who are an example of Laodicea

By the way, I'm like an elephant: I never forget. I forgive; I don't begrudge; but I never forget, and I warn others when they need to be warned and use examples when they need to be used. Also, I'm happy at my new church home; as I said, I just warn others when they need to be warned because I don't want to them to fall into the pitfall and hole that I was in for years--and I'm still waiting for the necessary apologies:

  1. From "Pastor" Mike Khandjian for demeaning and degrading what he (if he paid attention in seminary at all) knows that we also call Ha'Aron-HaKodesh--the Holy Ark, not "a holy piece of furniture" that one can use and/or abuse anytime that he or she likes. I'm waiting for an apology to me and my people--many of whom won't turn to Jesus because foolish "pastors" degrade the very Aron-HaKodesh that held a representation of Yeshua--in fact, part of Yeshua in written form (since the Ten Commandments are part of the Word of G-d, who became flesh).
  2. From the Dallwigs. As I said, "I don't begrude; but I never forget, and I warn others when they need to be warned and use examples when they need to be used." Because of catty, fraudulent, unBiblical lawsuit threats and not being an actual "Caring Director", the Dallwigs get used as examples of why Chapelgate is part of Laodicea.

Why the Non-Anusi Rusnaks Reached Out To the Anusi Ones

As I noted before, Reform Judaism and Catholicism heretically teach:

"Heaven is not a gated community. The righteous of any people and any faith have a place in it. Our actions, not our specific beliefs, determine our fate. No concept of Hell exists in Judaism. The closest we get is the fate of apostate (a person who renounces God, faith and morality in this world), who is said to be “cut off from his kin.”"

In Hungary (later part of Austria Hungary), Neolog (Hungarian Reform) Judaism (as I explained to Kevin):

"It looks like Andrej Novak and Jan Molnar were witnesses--this would mean that the Rusnaks, Molnars, Novaks, et. al. stuck together when kicked out of Kosice. However, this means that only the Rusnaks and Molnars converted at the time. It may mean that the Novaks did, too, or simply that they begrudgingly went to an Anusi wedding in support of their meshumad brother--this could've gotten them into huge trouble, though. Nonetheless, even some Orthodox and Proto-Conservative, -Reform, and -Reconstructionist (since only Orthodox Judaism was the P'rushi Judaism at the time, and the Rusnaks were not Karaites; and Reform Judaism was just getting founded. Anyway, even some Orthodox and Proto-Reform P'rushim) allowed Non-Messianic Jews to attend and participate in Messianic and Anusi weddings provided that they did nothing Christian, etc. (e.g., See modern CCAR Resolution 168).

...

"This only serves to confirm my theory that Anusim stuck together (and we did! There's no shame in being Jewish--provided that we know Mashiach, anyway; otherwise, we do become a byword as TaNaKH says)."

As I also stated, Reform Judaism had its beginnings in the 1820s to 1840s in Berlin, Germany; and a huge date for the Reform Movement (however kofer Reform Judaism is) is 1847 (and we've discussed how kofer Reform Judaism is--since, for example, they do not believe even in a Mashiach to come or in the inerrancy of TaNaKH with or without Hadashah).

Later came Modern Orthodox P'rushi Judaism, which was influenced by Reform (including Neolog) Judaism (e.g., not living like haredim but, unlike Reform Judaism, still maintaining the belief in TaNaKH's inerrancy). This is where Vilmosz and his side of the family stood in terms of the P'rushi continuum--after all, for example, Vilmosz did own a business; and stricter Orthodox P'rushim would stay home studying Torah and Talmud Bavli all day.

Talmud Bavli teaches, as I've stated, that one may break a mitzvah to save a life--embodied in piku'ach nefesh:

  1. "MISHNAH. IF ONE IS SEIZED BY A RAVENOUS HUNGER,HE MAY BE GIVEN TO EAT EVEN UNCLEAN THINGS UNTIL HIS EYES ARE ENLIGHTENED.IF ONE WAS BIT BY A MAD DOG, HE MAY NOT  GIVE HIM TO EAT THE LOBE OF ITS LIVER, BUT R. MATTHIA B. HERESH PERMITS IT.FURTHERMORE DID R. MATTHIA B. HERESH SAY:IF ONE HAS PAIN IN HIS THROAT, HE MAY POUR MEDICINE INTO HIS MOUTH ON THE SABBATH, BECAUSE IT IS A POSSIBILITY OF DANGER TO HUMAN LIFE AND EVERY DANGER TO HUMAN LIFE SUSPENDS THE [LAWS OF THE] SABBATH. IF DEBRIS FALL ON SOMEONE, AND IT IS DOUBTFUL WHETHER OR NOT HE IS THERE, OR WHETHER HE IS ALIVE OR DEAD, OR WHETHER  HE BE AN ISRAELITE OR A HEATHEN, ONE SHOULD OPEN [EVEN ON SABBATH] THE HEAP OF DEBRIS FOR HIS SAKE. IF ONE FINDS HIM ALIVE ONE SHOULD REMOVE  THE DEBRIS, AND IF HE BE DEAD ONE SHOULD LEAVE HIM THERE [UNTIL THE SABBATH DAY IS OVER]."
  2. "Our Rabbis taught: One must remove debris to save a life on the Sabbath, and the more eager one is, the more praiseworthy is one; and one need not obtain permission from the Beth din..."

Given that and that the Reform teaching states, "The closest we get is the fate of apostate..., who is said to be “cut off from his kin", Vilmosz obviously had no problem reaching out to Mary Rusnak Gaydos, the oldest-surviving child and the oldest daughter and of Gyorgy's grandson and Jakub's son Andrej (Andrew). That Vilmosz considered quite a few factors besides Mary's seniority is clear. For example:

  1. Jakub himself couldn't help; since, after all, Jews--Non Messianic, Anusi (Messianic and Non Messianic), and Messianic--were all in danger during the Shoah if they were in Europe and the Middle East. As for Gyorgy, he died in 1871.
  2. Andrew and Julia were both too old (56-68 and 47-59) to help during the Shoah (1933-1945), and they had children at home (Carl, b. 1922; Agnes, b. 1935; Joseph, b. 1927). Besides, Julia married into the family.
  3. Mary was only 26-38 during the entire Shoah, had a husband (Michael Gaydos), and only two to five children at home at any given time (Helen, b. 1930; MaryAnn, b. 1932; Joan, b. 1936; Larry, b. 1941; Tina, b. 1943). By the time of the worst part of the Shoah (the "Final Solution"), Mary had her parents, younger-but-old-enough siblings (quite a few of whom, besides the three still at the Fosko-Rusnak home, were not married or having children yet), and old-enough children to help her raise her children and even help provide for the family if (so to speak) push came to shove.
  4. Carl, Joseph, and Andy (b. 1917) were all serving in WW2.
Vilmosz and his side weren't stupid, by the way--they did their homework (e.g., researched) and found out what they needed to find out, which saving lives required them to do. If they didn't do at least some remembering of the meshumad side, talking to other people, looking for records, etc.; they would have--and they knew that they would have--squandered any last opportunity to be saved from the Shoah.

In case you don't believe me, by the way, let me refresh what common sense you might have:

  1. Even if you're cut off from your family, you don't forget them.
  2. If you want to save a life and are desperate, you may reach out to even who you consider the worst among your family. As the saying goes, "Where there's a will, there's a way."
  3. If you want to save a life and are desperate, you will do you homework if you can. As the saying goes, "Do what you can with what you have, where you are."
  4. If your relatives claim to be Christian (especially if they're Jewish Christian) and you're a Jew, you're going to expect them to help you as a Jew--maybe even a fellow Jew--out. After all, Jesus was a Jew; so why wouldn't Christians help Jews, especially if the Christians are Jewish?
  5. Anne Frank's family reached out to gentiles for help and even tried to civilly-disobediently get smuggled papers and other documents to survive and go to America. Why wouldn't Vilmosz reach out, as a last resort, to Mary Rusnak Gaydos?
  6. Not everything is or can be proven or even documented--e.g., MaryAnn Gaydos is hiding the letters that would prove that Mary Gaydos Rusnak messed up. Why? As I have explained,  Mary Rusnak Gaydos stopped writing to them when they asked for help, and the letters have been sickly twisted into a money plea from Julia Fosko Rusnak's family by Dr. MaryAnn Gaydos. Dr. Gaydos refuses to reveal the actual letters, claiming that they are nothing more than a plea for money from the family of Alexander and Emil Focko, who asked Mary for money--and she goes so far as to claim that Mary sent food even though she stopped writing.
  7. Per that " she goes so far as to claim that Mary sent food even though she stopped writing", why would Mary Rusnak Gaydos have sent something perishable and easy to steal (e.g., during shipment) such as food to desperate, war-torn Europe? Money is non perishable and more useful, anyway; and money can buy, for example, food. Besides, Europe was recovering after the war, and there were rations and other foodstuffs from during and after the war.
Do I need to go on?

How Bloggers, YouTubers, Etc. Can Honestly Do Powerful Things...

For example, Brett McGurk (if the allegations are true) is in trouble and ruined his own career thanks to blogger Peter Van Buren. As for examples who I've blogged about, my unbelievably-corrupt family (among whom there is a righteous remnant who I've acknowledged), Toby and Krystal Keith, and Chapelgate Presbyterian Church. When I blog, record a YouTube video, etc.; I try to do what I can with what I have where I am--in order words, I try to do everything legally, ethically, and morally. This means that I don't hack (e.g., I see what I can on Facebook and only what I can see. I don't do password stealing or anything; and even if I knew how to hack, etc., I wouldn't do it--though it might be tempting in some cases--admittedly, I might love to hack into my dad's and grandparents' email accounts to see what they're saying and to whom they're talking about me, what I've found out, etc.).

By the way, I'm still dis- or un-recommending (however you'd like to say "not [or no longer]" recommending) any association with the people and organizations who I've dis- or un-recommended in the past--that is, unless your association can be for the good or better of them or (if nothing else) the better of everyone else. But remember, "Do not be deceived: “Evil company corrupts good habits.”" In other words, you will be corrupted by whom you are around if you do not have strong filters. "I know and am convinced by the Lord Jesus that there is nothing unclean of itself; but to him who considers anything to be unclean, to him it is unclean".

If you can even be around certain people, organizations, etc. (much less read their books, listen to their music, watch their shows, etc.), more ko'ach to you. However, since ""“The heart is deceitful above all things, [a]nd desperately wicked" and--even if you're a believer, you may not have the filters, be careful with whom you associate or toward whom you gravitate in any way, shape, or form. "For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also" and "[a]s in water face reflects face, [s]o a man’s heart reveals the man."

Repost: Gyorgy Kvetkovits Rusnak and The Conversion

I'll obviously be teaching Kevin more Hebrew (if he cares to learn; though as aLevi descended from a Lewshik--Levshik--on his mom's side, he should); but first, toda el (thanks to) Kevin for sending the records; and this is what I replied to him:

"It looks like Andrej Novak and Jan Molnar were witnesses--this would mean that the Rusnaks, Molnars, Novaks, et. al. stuck together when kicked out of Kosice. "This may also shed further light on Foczko-Hanzok Anusi practices--we already saw the sticking together and naming of the children as anything other than (with few exceptions) "Maria". Even our cousin Mariama Valkova was not given the variant "Maria", for example.

"This only serves to confirm my theory that Anusim stuck together (and we did! There's no shame in being Jewish--provided that we know Mashiach, anyway; otherwise, we do become a byword as TaNaKH says)."

By the way, I will find out Kevin's Hebrew name, but it includes HaLevi

The records, meanwhile:

By the way, laughter did happen when I confirmed that "Kvet-Kovits" is Jewish; and tears almost swelled up along with pride for Yisra'elHa'Eretz l'Am-Avoti (Israel, the land of my dad's people).

I've Stated Before That I'm Not Covering For Great-Grandma Gaydos...

Now with Dr. MaryAnn Gaydos giving Jack Czarnecki control of the Fosko-Rusnak Family Reunion, all credibility that they possibly could've had is gone, shot, down the drain. First, Jack Czarnecki was not born a Fosko Rusnak. Secondly, he has no right to ban anyone who was born a Fosko, a Rusnak, or a Fosko Rusnak to ban anyone from the Fosko-Rusnak Family Reunion. Thirdly, Grandaunt MaryAnn and Pop-Pop (and Grandma and others) are playing games--this is all part of who will help them cover up (among other things) our Jewish heritage and what happened to Vilmosz Rusznak's side of the family; and cover for (among other people) Great-Grandma Gaydos.

By the way (and this isn't just to Kevin, but to anyone else who'd like to give me and others a hard time), you know why "a quick first look at the microfilm from the 1820's and 1830's didn't show Gyorgy [Rusznak]'s baptism record"? It didn't show it because it wasn't there. With all due respect (and my apologizes to you, Zlatica and Mark at Ancestry.com), the Rusnaks on the Gyorgy Rusnak side did not convert until 1820 or later--to be fair and honest to you both (Zlatica and Mark, and to anyone else as well), the generation of Jakub (Great-Great-Granddad Andrew Rusnak's dad) was probably the first one to convert or be baptized (and not all adult Anusim--e.g., Gyorgy--went through baptism if they converted--it was enough to be Anusi; to be meshumad would've made it worse for them).

I'm not playing this coverup game for my great-grandmother Mary Rusnak Gaydos, who tried to cover up our Jewish heritage and (in part of the coverup) betrayed the Vilmosz Rusnak side of the family during the Holocaust--not writing to your relatives when they are asking you for life-saving help, even if they sat shiva for your side of the family before, is sick.

By the way, Non-Evangelical (Non-Christian) Catholicism is a bunch of kofer, meshumad crap ("kofer" translating to "apostate" or "apostate's", and "meshumad" translating to the same in this case; and I'm using both as adjectives). The Vatican--the Roman (and frankly, its Eastern equivalent, the Byzantine) Catholic "Church"--has caused (among other things) the pogroms, the Crusades, and the Inquisition--all Anti-Semitic, Pseudo-Christian (and Anti-Christian) events. So, with all due respect to my Anusi, Non-Evangelical Catholic family and so to speak, get your head out of the sand and come to know the Messiah Yeshua.

I Unfortunately Come From A Family of Cowards...

I'm not ashamed to stand by my beliefs; I'm ashamed of my family who are. For example, my sister and my mom have one belief that I'm not allowed to mention--and I'm not being a hypocrite: I mentioned it before, but was yelled at and threatened with having my computer taken away. I had the choice of either following the gag order (so to speak) or having you not see this or potential future blog entries.

I also continue to be ashamed of my grandaunt Dr. MaryAnn Gaydos--she and I (and others) full well know that if those letters (which I have mentioned before) were really to the Foskos and written in the Post-WW2 Era, she surely would've released them or the contents thereof to the family by now. After all, they're family history and nothing to be ashamed of if they weren't part of a cover up--a cover up of our Jewish heritage, how Great-Grandma responded to Vilmos' and his side of the family's pleas for help, etc..

I furthermore (even though G-d used evil for good) am ashamed even of my Anusi relatives--at least my openly Non-Messianic Jewish relatives, however misguided and blind they were (and whether they were deliberately or unintentionally blind)--stood for their faith even to--literally--death or the risk thereof (e.g., Auschwitz and--before the Holocaust--the pogroms). Many of my relatives, even Messianic Jews among us, continue to be Anusim today--what a shame! Jesus, as one of my relatives (and you know who you are and how you) put it, "was born a Jew, lived as a Jew and died a Jew." (I'm being generous in not mentioning who you are--you already testified against yourself. The least that you can do, since Messiah acknowledge His Jewish heritage, is acknowledge your own Jewish heritage--that is, the heritage separate from mine--and our common Jewish heritage.)

Have some chazak and kavod

Repost: "Illegal Alien" Is Not A Pejorative

Besides, as a descendant of illegal aliens (Julian and Aleksjondria "Alexandria" Chernetski, and their son Antoni "Anthoy" Chernetski), I have more of a stake in the matter than Geraldo Rivera. Indeed, his dad was Puerto Rican (given U.S. citizenship in 1917, and born when Puerto Rico had been a U.S. territory for 17 years), and his grandmother Tillie Krivel Friedman was a legal immigrant from her Diasporan home of Canada. What does Geraldo have to worry about? Also, while not all illegals are Mexican or otherwise Hispanic (case in point, as my great-great-grandparents were Ashkenazim Anusim), most illegals are Mexican and otherwise Hispanic. Meanwhile, the Irish were not the first illegals. Don't believe me? Search Ancestry.com-- you'll find the New York and other port manifests of plenty of Irelanders, that of my great-great-great-granddad John Thomas Farrell.

Furthermore, Sections 8 and 9 of Article 1 of the U.S. Constitution have always provided for legal immigration:
  1. Section 8 - Powers of Congress
    The Congress shall have Power To lay and collect Taxes, Duties, Imposts and Excises, to pay the Debts and provide for the common Defence and general Welfare of the United States; but all Duties, Imposts and Excisesshall be uniform throughout the United States;
    To borrow money on the credit of the United States;
    To regulate Commerce with foreign Nations, and among the several States, and with the Indian Tribes;
To establish an uniform Rule of Naturalization, and uniform Laws on the subject of Bankruptcies throughout the United States...
  2. The Migration or Importation of such Persons as any of the States now existing shall think proper to admit, shall not be prohibited by the Congress prior to the Year one thousand eight hundred and eight, but a tax or duty may be imposed on such Importation, not exceeding ten dollars for each Person.
In conclusion; as a descendant of Jewish illegal immigrants who has more stake in the illegal immigration issue than the descendant of Puerto Rican Cruz Rivera and legal immigrant Tillie Krivel Friedman, I speak to Geraldo Rivera and to others to say that "illegal" and "illegal alien" are not pejoratives.

So I Got Blocked By Toby Keith's Son On Twitter...

Let me say that I consider that an honor, and I ended up unfollowing his sister as well. With the way that Toby Keith and his family are going (at least from what I gather with "Red Solo Cup", their "friend" Shannon Tanner, and Krystal following the Dalai Lama, for example), let me say that I'm glad that Stelen considers me whatever he considers me in order to block me. In my opinion, who needs to even care about a family enough to follow any of them on Twitter when they don't even try to care about G-d, even if they claim to?

By the way, I'm a little surprised at some of the other people who I'm following (some of whom are following me) who are following the Dalai Lama. There is nothing wise, holy, or anything else good about the Dalai Lama; and how arrogant for the Dalai Lama to call himself "His Holiness"-- who does he think that he is: Jesus? "Where is the wiseWhere is the scribe? Where is the disputer of this age? Has not God made foolish the wisdom of this world?" Furthermore, as the old saying goes, the Devil can even quote Scripture; "[f]or Satan himself transforms himself into an angel of light." (2 Corinthians 11:14b) Even if appearances are that the Dalai Lama's getting his wisdom directly from G-d, he can't be:

18 For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who suppress the truth in unrighteousness19 because what may be known of God is manifest in them, for God has shown it to them. 20 For since the creation of the world His invisible attributes are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even His eternal power and Godhead, so that they are without excuse, 21 because, although they knew God, they did not glorify Him as God, nor were thankful, but became futile in their thoughts, and their foolish hearts were darkened.22 Professing to be wise, they became fools, 23 and changed the glory of the incorruptible God into an image made like corruptible man—and birds and four-footed animals and creeping things.

Furthermore, "[e]very good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and comes down from the Father of lights, with whom there is no variation or shadow of turning." (James 1:17) Because the Dalai Lama doesn't have the Light of G-d in him, he can't be getting any good or wisdom directly from G-d. Besides, for example, this is not wise:

"Unbiased love is undoubtedly difficult to generate, but if you practice with determination, day by day your attitude will be transformed."

It may seem wise at first, but be careful: love is biased. For example, "Ya'akov I have loved, and Esav I have hated". Also, "hate what is evil and cling to what is good." Love does have bias, judgement, and discernment-- and there are many more examples besides the ones that I gave. Also:

"I am often asked whether I am optimistic for the future of humanity. My simple answer is yes."

What humanity, at least without Christ, is he observing? Also:

"Compassion is a mental quality that can bring us true lasting inner peace and inner strength."

Compassion is a spiritual, not a mental, quality. The corrupt human mind cannot possibly be compassionate. By the way, as I stated,  as the old saying goes, the Devil can even quote Scripture; "[f]or Satan himself transforms himself into an angel of light." (2 Corinthians 11:14b) Even if appearances are that the Dalai Lama's getting his wisdom directly from G-d, he can't be:

"We often talk about moral values, justice and trust, but the important thing is to put them into effect in our everyday lives."

But another problem: you can't have action without some talk. For example, you have to teach what you're doing:

  1. “And these words which I command you today shall be in your heart. You shall teach them diligently to your children, and shall talk of them when you sit in your house, when you walk by the way, when you lie down, and when you rise up. You shall bind them as a sign on your hand, and they shall be as frontlets between your eyes. You shall write them on the doorposts of your house and on your gates.
  2. Unleavened bread shall be eaten seven days. And no leavened bread shall be seen among you, nor shall leaven be seen among you in all your quarters. And you shall tell your son in that day, saying, ‘This is done because of what the Lord did for me when I came up from Egypt.’ It shall be as a sign to you on your hand and as a memorial between your eyes, that the Lord’s law may be in your mouth; for with a strong hand the Lord has brought you out of Egypt.
  3. 14 So it shall be, when your son asks you in time to come, saying, ‘What is this?’ that you shall say to him, ‘By strength of hand the Lord brought us out of Egypt, out of the house of bondage. 15 And it came to pass, when Pharaoh was stubborn about letting us go, that the Lord killed all the firstborn in the land of Egypt, both the firstborn of man and the firstborn of beast. Therefore I sacrifice to theLord all males that open the womb, but all the firstborn of my sons I redeem.’

So, I wish Toby Keith and his family tzlacha; since they're going the way of the world of late-- they'll need all the tzlacha (luck or success) that they can get, since all that they may inherit is this world.

Repost: When Was Yeshua Crucified? According To HebCal.com....

April 1, 33 CE or AD (or Nisan-Aviv 14, 3793):

APRIL 0033

SundayMondayTuesdayWednesdayThursdayFridaySaturday

1
14th of Nisan, 3793
Ta'anit Bechorot
Erev Pesach
2
15th of Nisan, 3793
Pesach I

Discussed previously:

"31 Therefore, because it was the Preparation Day, that the bodies should not remain on the cross on the Sabbath (for that Sabbath was a high day), the Jews asked Pilate that their legs might be broken, and that they might be taken away. 32 Then the soldiers came and broke the legs of the first and of the other who was crucified with Him. 33 But when they came to Jesus and saw that He was already dead, they did not break His legs. 34 But one of the soldiers pierced His side with a spear, and immediately blood and water came out. 35 And he who has seen has testified, and his testimony is true; and he knows that he is telling the truth, so that you may believe. 36 For these things were done that the Scripture should be fulfilled, “Not one of His bones shall be broken.”[f] 37 And again another Scripture says, “They shall look on Him whom they pierced.”[g]
"38 After this, Joseph of Arimathea, being a disciple of Jesus, but secretly, for fear of the Jews, asked Pilate that he might take away the body of Jesus; and Pilate gave him permission. So he came and took the body of Jesus. 39 And Nicodemus, who at first came to Jesus by night, also came, bringing a mixture of myrrh and aloes, about a hundred pounds. 40 Then they took the body of Jesus, and bound it in strips of linen with the spices, as the custom of the Jews is to bury. 41 Now in the place where He was crucified there was a garden, and in the garden a new tomb in which no one had yet been laid.42 So there they laid Jesus, because of the Jews’ Preparation Day, for the tomb was nearby."

Thus, Hebrew4Christians is incorrect: Yeshua was considered as though dead on Thursday night (arrested, etc.) and risen on Sunday morning. So, 1/2 (Thursday night (14 Aviv)) + 1 (all day Friday (14-15 Aviv)) + 1 (all day Saturday (15-16 Aviv)) + 1/2 (Sunday morning (16 Aviv)):

Mark 14:58 KJV

We heard him say , I will destroy this temple that is made with hands, and within three days I will build another made without hands.
