#ThursdayThoughts, #FluffyFriday, and a Belated #WoofWednesday & #WeddingWednesday....

Wedding?

Not "Momma"'s or the wedding of anyone else expected (or unexpected) by readers of the accounts of Reilly's antics, adventures, toleration of "Momma", etc.. The wedding in question is that one of "Momma"'s many cousins, and it's in Virginia. Thus, guess who can't go to the wedding—and guess which "Momma" is worried?

With Reilly being back all the way in Howard County, Maryland while "Momma" will be in Virginia for about seven to eight hours—unless she ends up staying home if a school-days classmate or neighbors would end up being unable to petsit—Reilly's "Momma" is a worried "Momma". While even Reilly likes celebrating weddings and marriages, she sure doesn't like when "Momma" has to be away for a wedding or any other event—and the last wedding for which "Momma" was away was in the Baltimore area, and "Mom-Mom" was home that day with Reilly. This time, not even "Mom-Mom" will be there—so, Reilly will be a little freaked out either way.

(Incidentally, "Momma" dreams of that day when—Yehovah willing—Reilly will be part of a wedding party. As she's cynically—albe understandably—stated, "Momma" doesn't expect that anytime soon, and—as she forestated—she doesn't expect that the readers of Reilly-related accounts expect it anytime soon, either.)

Somewhat Offbeat: When OCD Can Be Broken Down To "Oh, Chocolate Death!" If "Momma"/"Auntie Nicole" Is Not Careful

"Momma"/"Auntie Nicole" has posted about this before, so this is obviously nothing new. Still, even doing as minimal as baking a chocolate pie (which, despite her CP, "Momma"/"Auntie Nicole" can at least relatively do) gets "Momma"/"Auntie Nicole" to have her OCD/Anxiety flare up. What especially makes her OCD/Anxiety flare up all the more is when Reilly and/or Camille can be found in the kitchen at the same time as the worried human mother and aunt in question. Worsening matters all the more so is when "Auntie Michelle"/"Mimi" doesn't let her focus and/or keep Reilly and/or Camille out of the kitchen, especially when one or both of them will scour for whatever can be eaten (notwithstanding its edibility).

One can guess, then, what happened tonight. If he or she can't guess, "Auntie Nicole" will give a hint: copious amounts of half-size paper towels and sprays of Mrs. Meyer*s® Clean Day later, cleaning and double checking, and having to scold Camille for trying to scour for anything spilled and cleaner on the floor, "Auntie Nicole" at least cleaned up (hopefully) thoroughly enough (Reilly was upstairs, for which "Momma" is thankful enough, meanwhile). The OCD/Anxiety flare up and unhappiness with the fact that "Mimi" didn't let her focus and keep Camille out of the kitchen is continuing, nonetheless. Meanwhile, a concurrent ADD flareup just began at least a few seconds ago and was affected by the OCD/Anxiety flareup.

If only "Momma" and Reilly had someone else to help them out and frankly weren't still stuck with not-exactly-as-supportive-as-they-could-be "Mom-Mom" and "Auntie Michelle"—despite how much "Auntie Nicole" would miss her furniece and Reilly might miss her cousin—and keeping Reilly away from chocolate, raw eggs, and flour among other puppy-unfriendly ingredients is a significant part of helping "Momma" and Reilly!

#WoofWednesday: More Of "Momma"'/"Auntie Nicole"'s Lifesavers

Meanwhile, Reilly's apparent equivalent of hadibrot harishonah v'shlishit (as she jealously sat on "Mom-Mom"'s lap):

"You shall have no other dogs before me, for I, Reilly the dog, am a jealous dog, visiting the slights of others upon the fur children of those whom provoke me to jealously, but showing affection to thousands, those whom love me and give in to my demands for scritches and belly rubs."

(PS 10 pictures for all of the 10 Dibrot! "Momma"/"Auntie Nicole" did not expect that!)

PS "Momma"/"Auntie Nicole" removed the videos, forgetting that they included private jokes until now.

An Armed Forces Week Card From Reilly And Camille

PS "Momma" and Reilly particularly wish the Air Force a good day on this Air Force Day during Armed Forces Week--and they have a bit of a special affinity for the Air Force, with the Marines and Army coming in at a close second :-).

Somewhat To Mostly Offbeat: "Momma"/"Auntie Nicole" Means When She Says That...

Reilly and Camille are a main reason why she is alive right now—and, to the chagrin of many, she has said this before. She wonders what would happen to especially Reilly if something ever happened to her, and something almost did happen to her before she got Reilly—she overslept to the point at which she could have died due to starvation due to oversleeping because of a Depression flareup had the flareup become worse than it already had been.

As she's also mentioned before, she missed much of Reilly's first year because of her Depression flareup—not to mention "Auntie Michelle"'s Depression-exacerbating insistence that her apparent "experience" was more important than her reading, talking to pet owners in the neighborhood, &c.. Luckily, Reilly did—as all pre-adult puppies do—need 16-20 hours of sleep per day, and at least "Auntie Michelle" would bring up Reilly to see her in the mornings—so, she got to spend more time with her than she would and could have spent otherwise.Nonetheless, she swore to take a hands-off approach and not help  Miss "Experience" at all once Camille came home, since Miss "Experience" insisted that she knew better than her. She ended up capitulating, anyway, and became a helpful-enough "Auntie Nicole".

She also tried becoming a better "Momma". Then in January of 2016, she began to experience a really-rough time that has gone on in an up-and-down way for more than two years now—and an event that relates to that happened in May and really affected confusion in her that is still affecting her to have draining Depression, OCD/Anxiety, ADD, and other flareups that affect her to too often be—among other things—a bad "Momma" to patient-anyway-though-quite-often-understandably-frustrated Reilly. Meanwhile, Reilly has often reminded her to stay alive when she has reached really-low points and entertained not-so-good thoughts. She also has taught her patience while, for example, she awaits a certain answer for both of their sakes.

So people can keep feeling chagrin when "Momma"/"Auntie Nicole" states that she would be dead right now were Reilly and Camille in her life, even though—as has been observed by at least a few people—facts never base themselves on anyone's feelings—including feelings of chagrin.

Somewhat To Mostly Offbeat: One Thing That Can Really Frustrate "Momma" Is That....

She has to whittle more-complex matters down to simple explanations that don't begin to cover the matters. For example:

  1. "I'm not as strong as Mom-Mom and Auntie Michelle" doesn't begin to fully explain Cerebral Palsy.
  2. "My bladder and my colon are acting funny" doesn't begin to explain IBS flareups.
  3. Even "I'm having an OCD flareup" doesn't explain OCD/Anxiety, which "Momma" has tried to explain to Reilly as best as one can explain OCD/Anxiety to puppies of any age.
  4. "Some people are just not very nice" doesn't exactly help differentiate between, for example, ableists and the the kind of people that may put up yet another barrier between "Momma" and "Momma"'s and Reilly's actual and potential friends—including everybody whom reads about and would want to about Reilly.
That can make being the best-possible "Momma" to Reilly much harder than it already is—how can "Momma" be a good "Momma" when she can't explain why the world is "a very-bad world"? "Momma"'s not always a good "Momma" as is, anyway!

PS Reilly was understandably mad when someone woke her up to take a picture before they went "night nights" here.

Every day is Moodle's Day at La Casa de Reily, anyway!

Somewhat Offbeat: Something That "Momma" and Reilly Still Do Every Day

They persist in praying for whomever "Momma"'s helpmate and Reilly's "Daddy" is, and praying for an answer from a certain someone. Reilly has been quite patient about that, might "Momma" add, despite that she still makes when her patience is stretched to the limit from time to time. Truth be told, Reilly's running downstairs one night probably had to do with impatience in part (notwithstanding that night-owl "Momma" went to bed quite early that night) and even her knowledge that "['Momma'] isn't as strong or as fast as Mom-Mom and Auntie Michelle" (which she has explained to Reilly multiple times, and of which Reilly gladly takes advantage—albe in a toddler-like way as opposed to a malicious way).

This isn't to mention that Reilly's been patient with "Momma" and praying with her about it for about two years now.

#ThrowbackThursday: The Picture That Reilly Let "Momma" Take Last Night To Celebrate A Special Anniversary Today

Reilly also let "Momma" put the following caption for it when she sent it to Joyce, from whom she got Reillyⁱ—and she understood what she saying, like most puppies can understand what their human parents are saying:

"Hi, Joyce! Thank you for letting me meet Momma four years ago!"

By the way, "Momma" recommends Ole Field Farm and made this recommendation on her own.

#WoofWednesday: Three Years Ago Today...

By the way, "Auntie Nicole" has yet to see even a picture of Tootsie, although she sees her in both Camille and Camille's maternal sister Shelby (and she's seen Poppie)! "Momma", though, has seen Apple and Oobie-Won (and it's still great that Apple is, like Reilly's "great-great-great-grandmother" Allen was, about two years older than her partner—since Apple was six and Oobie-Won four in 2015, and Reilly's Allen "great-great-grandparents" were born in June 1880 and September 1881, respectively—and that Apple even looks as a canine like Nana Allen did as a human!)

Very-Belated #ThrowbackThursday: Throwback To...Thursday At Roughly 3:15-4:11 At Night!

Let's just that "Momma" was very unhappy with:

  1. Reilly running downstairs when "Momma" explicitly told her to stay while she had to "go potty".
  2. "Mom-Mom" blaming her instead of disobedient Reilly for that, and even despite "Momma" warning "Mom-Mom" that Reilly might have to "go potty" during the night because she inexplicably drank quite an amount of water even for her to drink before "night-nights" time—and Reilly normally doesn't drink as much water as she should in the first place!
  3. Reilly running downstairs when "Momma" explicitly told her to stay while she had to "go potty" a third time, despite that she actually did stay the second time that "Momma" had to go.
  4. The about-one-hour refusal of Reilly to go back upstairs, let alone let "Momma" get her harness and leash on her to do so because she wouldn't do so without it—she even would play go-to-the-hallway-gate-then-run-away games!
  5. "Mom-Mom" once again blaming her instead of disobedient Reilly for that, and also getting mad at her for not taking Reilly "potty"...at about 4:11 at night, when "Momma" has Cerebral Palsy and is (as she's explained to Reilly) "not as strong as 'Mom-Mom' and 'Auntie Michelle'"), and Reilly didn't "go potty" the first time that she ran downstairs and "Mom-Mom" took her to "go potty"!
  6. "Zeh hayah 'erev v'zeh hayah boker" meant that day for "Momma" that she was very sleepy in the boker quite due in part to the about-one-hour chase that occurred during the 'erev.
  7. That Reilly now has to wear her harness and leash for a while every time that "Momma" has to "go potty", and with the leash loop put around one of the bedposts so that she doesn't run downstairs when "Momma" opens the bedroom door!

#ToyTuesday (Toys-day? In Any Case, Reilly And Camille Are Spoiled)

Subsequently, Camille aggressively guarded the toys when Reilly wasn't even near her (Yikes!)

"Momma"/"Auntie Nicole" Can Relate....

To A Twitter Video...Again!...

Now "Momma"/"Auntie Nicole" grants that Reilly (although she did growl at one of her own stuffed-toy sort-of Doppelgangers once) has never done the following to Camille, though Reilly has (if one will) "dominated" Camille several times, done dominance shows that don't involve "dominating", blocked Camille from getting scritches, and—among other things—made Camille afraid to approach others to get scritches lest Reilly "Hell hath no fury like a jealous Reilly" Rosalita Czarnecki either "dominates", does dominance shows directed at, or blocks her.

Reilly even once tried to bite a friend out of jealously of Camille and of the friend's puppies! This isn't to even mention that she's developed a reputation among other puppies, including a notorious Doberman whom's equally a jealous type and even runs around in circles when he or she hears Reilly's name!

Mostly Offbeat: Something That "Momma" Still Wants To Know, Definitely Partly For Reilly's Sake (And Reilly Would Probably Want To Know)

Who in the Rosedale-Nottingham area keeps checking her blog entries particular about Reilly. Relative? Friend? An inquiring mind wants to know, and she wants to know what the Rosedalean-Nottinghamer thinks of the entries (as feedback is always appreciated)—even if he or she thinks that (forgive the ableist language here) Reilly's "Momma" is a nut and a trainwreck—besides, Reilly probably thinks that her "Momma" is those things half of the time, anyway!

She should also mention that her curiosity comes mainly from another curiosity of hers: viz., is the Rosedalean-Nottinghamer in fact the same person whom she thinks could end up being her helpmate and Reilly's "Daddy" as opposed to a completely-different person? After all, knowing that would, for example, certainly help "Momma" be a better "Momma" to Reilly and get at least part of an answer for which she's been waiting for her and Reilly's sakes (and having a "Momma" with Cerebral Palsy can be quite hard enough for Reilly, not to mention be hard for a "Momma" whom'd be more of a "Momma" to Reilly if she were strong enough and/or had more help to be one!).

She has no intention of embarrassing anybody here, by the way. PS If you're the person in question, please let her know. Also, God willing, maybe you could end up meeting (or remeeting) Reilly someday.

#NationalHaikuDay: An Extended Haiku About Reilly (Or As "Auntie Michelle" Says, A Rei-ku!)

Reilly can be bratty
Albe very lovable
Even when she eats
"Nasties" and gets in trouble
In many more ways
Than her "Momma" can ever
Track, and she behaves
Badly though she knows better!
Nonetheless, Reiser
Is always her "Momma"'s good
"Gwril", firstborn "dogter",
Better puppy than she could
Have asked Yehovah
To make to be her fur kid
A kalvah tovah¹

#SundayStubbornness: A Reilly Whom Doesn't Like Sitting On "Momma"'s Lap At Her Computer Desk, Etc..

The frustrating sequence of events that involves stubborn Camille, Reilly, "Auntie Michelle", is as follows:
