Somewhat Offbeat: Getting Reilly's Stinkeye Last Night, And Rightly So

While Reilly has been patient with "Momma", she's also indicated that she wants her to wrap up more quickly at night and just "go night nights" instead of letting waiting for an answer keep her up late into the night. She's indicated such by giving "Momma" stinkeyes multiple times, and last night was no different.

"Momma" understood¹ why she got the stinkeye and even told Reilly that she would not be as patient with her if she were Reilly and Reilly were "Momma". She's lucky that Reilly can't (or at least wouldn't) give her ha'ayin hara (or is that what she's giving her?!).

Somewhat Offbeat: Patient And Understanding Reilly, Whom Teaches "Momma" A Lot About Patience While She Waits For An Answer

How Reilly does that is in quite a few ways, many of which are quite the opposite of each other and thus create a paradox to each other. For example:

1. She waits once again as "Momma"'s back in that cycle due to waiting for an answer being part of what keeps her up at night.
2. She waits as "Momma" reads at night and has to take care of a few things before reading at night.
3. She is very patient as "Momma" tries to get comfortable at night and often tosses and turns.
4. She sits at the door to wait to go downstairs in the morning when "Momma" tells her to sit before she opens the door.
5. She reminds "Momma" about patience when she barks to go downstairs and "Momma" has to patiently deal with her barking.
6. She jumps down off the bed and reminds "Momma" about patience when she has to tell her "Wait." or "Get back up on the bed.", or anything else that reminds to be patient.
7. She pulls "Momma" when she needs to go outside and reminds Momma to deal patiently as she to say "Wait", "No pull", or anything else to reminds her to wait and not pull her.
8. She does try to follow "Momma" back inside when "Momma" asks her to follow her and reminds her who leads.
9. She also often waits by the gate at night and generally follows "Momma" upstairs after she shows her what to do when she wants to go upstairs.  
10. Right now as "Momma" types, by the way, she's reminding her to deal with her barking patiently. 

Meanwhile, "Momma" has been very longsuffering for an answer for at least Reilly's sake if not her sake, though she's not always patient about it. Especially as often continues to find gray hairs (and she found three or four alone on Thursday morning), quite a few that are probably related to the stress that albe-lovable Reilly can cause, she seems to only be getting older more quickly and needing an answer. Besides, neither she nor Reilly will be young forever (and 28 does feel old, and Reilly will be four in a month and almost three weeks for now! That's how much time passes!).

Update On Reilly And Her Stuffed Toy, And Other Updates

When Reilly received her stuffed toy last night, she wanted it right away. However, she wasn't willing to pick it up off of the floor when "Momma" put it on the floor for her. She didn't mind that "Momma" picked it up and tried to carry it upstairs, though (and which is part of why "Momma" needs a service puppy to help her and Reilly, and especially because she doesn't have anyone—let alone, if her suspicions are correct, a certain someone—to help her and Reilly).

At least "Momma"'s having to crawl up to steps with the stuffed toy while she led Reilly up was worth it—Reilly ended up snuggling with her stuffed toy, a teddy bear that was subsequently named "Teddy", right before bedtime!

Failing Reilly Again, The Idea Of a Service Puppy That Reilly Did Not Like, And Reilly's Own Stuffed Toy

1. Self explanatory
2. When "Momma" brought up the idea of a service puppy ("service dog") to Reilly to ask her what she thought, she did not like that. In fact, she even looked incredibly heartbroken. "Momma" had to keep trying to assure her that she would never replace her, that she was sorry that she broke her heart, etc.. Even explaining that a service puppy might help her take her "potty" and maybe even on walks someday did not help (and "Mom-Mom" went as far as suggesting "that ['Momma''s getting a service puppy] might be the end of her" when "Momma" brought it up to her later!).
3. Since a service puppy named Atlas recently met a "real life" Pluto, "Momma" was inspired to try to get Reilly her own stuffed toy as opposed to just another toy. Of course, "Mom-Mom" and "Auntie Michelle" thought that the idea was mean, though Reilly does have her own toy that "Momma" will be able to keep in her room and away from Camille (since Camille would chew right through it!).

Those of us who are Republicans do not tolerate or support RINO *****'s willful and deliberate attempts to destroy the GOP, the United States, and republican parties in other countries. We also do not tolerate or support *****'s attacks on the Democrats, from whom he is much further on the Left. We additionally do not tolerate or support a repeat of history in which Neo Nazis and Neo Stalinists can bring about the kind of lawlessness and disorder that ***** seeks to bring.

We therefore support Special Counselor Robert Mueller and Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein, both of whom (by the way) are GOP members whom seek to bring about what GOP Abraham Lincoln discussed in his address at Gettysburg: "that this nation, under God, shall have a new birth of freedom, and that government of the people, by the people, for the people, shall not perish from the earth."

By standing with other Republicans (including Special Counselor Mueller and Deputy Attorney General Rosenstein), the Democrats whom are willing to work with the GOP, and other American people whom want "one nation under God, indivisible with liberty and justice for all" (as we pledge to want when we "pledge allegiance to the flag...and to the republic for which it stands"), we can be "a new nation, conceived in liberty, and dedicated to the proposition that all men are created equal." 

The United States can have a revival that does not include *****'s idea of what to "make American great again" is. 

As Martin Luther King, Jr. stated, "[W]hen we allow freedom to ring, when we let it ring from every village and every hamlet, from every state and every city, we will be able to speed up that day when all of God's children, black men and white men, Jews and Gentiles, Protestants and Catholics, will be able to join hands and sing in the words of the old Negro spiritual, "Free at last! free at last! thank God Almighty, we are free at last!""

Exactly What I Was Thinking, And A Good Idea

1. The first point: exactly what I was thinking, although it's more that he's hungry for power. Also, a Non POTUS (unless he's a legal VP acting on behalf of a legal POTUS) can't give SOTU addresses, anyway.
2. Good idea. Besides, we know enough about *****'s crimes to not talk about him.
3. Another point: not talking about ***** may actually help Mueller complete a thorough probe: less distraction, more action; less leaks, investigations won't take as many weeks.

A Floorless Economy, A Quickly-Rising Stock Market, Inflation, And Debts & Deficits: aka...

A United States-self-made economic hell known as the Second Great Depression is coming if the United States does not refound the American economy based on the Gold Standard—or at least some kind of concrete standard, even if it's the Silver Standard, Copper Standard, or other standard which can give the U.S. Economy a floor should the NYSE crash again. Besides, the United States Economy will also be in worse-than-historically-repetitive trouble if the NYSE keeps going up and up and doesn't have the kind of floor that it had last time.

Add inflation and a probably-impossible-to-repay debt to a floorless economy and an NYSE that could hit a ceiling at any time, and a Great Depression with either a nonetheless-painful end or no end could occur probably well before the 2022 "Budget Showdown"—and compare the former possibility to if my third childhood hamster had risen from the dead after he (as I have since heard) died instantly from a 16-foot-fall that a squirrel-dug hole in my father's apartment caused him to have, or if he even somehow survived that fall and eventually recovered (As for the latter possibility, the bottomless-pit analogy can be used for that.).

One can therefore obviously conclude that the U.S. Economy and the NYSE that defines it need:

1. A refoundation or reflooring, such as a return to the Gold Standard or some other standard that can serve as an economic and financial base
2. An actually-slowed-down growing and a growth that takes the slow-and-steady approach as opposed to the "Get rich quick!" or "Buy, buy, buy!" standard.
3. Inflation control
4. A U.S. government that will put it back on the Gold Standard or some other kind of concrete standard, regulate overgrowth, control inflation, and at least start reducing the growth of the U.S. debt and deficit.

PS I recall that I wrote about the heading-for-another-depression U.S. Economy before, and writing again about it in the 10^th-anniversary year of the Great Recession may be worth it.
