What About "Falling Away", By the Way?

I was thinking again on the subject in Hebrews 6 and 10 today (and discussed it in light of a friend's status). Here's what I wrote later on the subject:

John 6:66, though, talks about disciples who no longer walked with Jesus. 1 Corinthians 3:15 also reads, "If anyone’s work is burned, he will suffer loss; but he himself will be saved, yet so as through fire."Congregation Yeshuat Yisrael has a wonderful study on this, by the way (Seehttp://www.yeshuatyisrael.com/Power.../Hebrews%20Dilemma.pdf).

This might shed light on the Parable of the Sower:

" 20 But he who received the seed on stony places, this is he who hears the word and immediately receives it with joy; 21 yet he has no root in himself, but endures only for a while. For when tribulation or persecution arises because of the word, immediately he stumbles. 22 Now he who received seed among the thorns is he who hears the word, and the cares of this world and the deceitfulness of riches choke the word, and he becomes unfruitful.
