"Momma" has made quite clear what she thinks about the whole Trump-Clinton debacle. Either way, she worries about Reilly—and herself!—and as far as she knows, even the Reilly who saved her "Momma"'s life cannot save "Momma" from the worst-case scenario unless God pulls off a miracle!
As for whether "Momma" can save Reilly, "Momma" can't even lift her Reilly's cousin up on a table to watch the rain—how, then, is she going to be able to help Reilly? Besides, "Momma" could use help being a better "Momma" to Reilly in any case, let alone if she ever has a chance to give Reilly human siblings in the future—after all, Reilly would be a good "sister" (and she even picked up Camille by the scruff once, although she got into trouble for being like a mother to Camille!).
By the way, "Momma" will—if God wills—tell Reilly who she thinks, or at least hopes, that Reilly's "Daddy" eventually may be—and she'll see how Reilly reacts, though what ultimately happens is up to God. Also, she won't share Reilly's reaction unless anyone whom "Momma" mentions to Reilly ends up being Reilly's "Daddy"!
