I was searching biblegateway.com for the verse of the day, and found this:

For because of this you also pay taxes, for they are God’s ministers attending continually to this very thing. Render therefore to all their due: taxes to whom taxes are due, customs to whom customs, fear to whom fear, honor to whom honor. (Romans 13:6-7)

Very timely, I thought.

Not Blogging Much Lately, But Had To Blog This

I've focused more on politics outside of blogging. But this one I have to blog about. Country music is ruined. If you thought "Get Drunk and Be Somebody" was bad from "The Angry American", and "Hony-Tonk Badonkadonk" was just as bad as Don Imus' comments, wait until you see this:

Salama grew up an Oklahoma Muslim. Chicken-fried steak, trips to the rodeo every year. If he enjoyed writing songs, why wouldn't they be country? He made his debut in front of about 5,000 people at a national Muslim convention, and their response helped him decide to record his first album. He finished in September. Now he's working on his second while playing at college campuses (MIT, Swarthmore and elsewhere.)

John Adams was a Unitarian, a founder and President of the United States of America, and a lawyer and cousin of an another Adams who made his mark in the American Revolution. I checked to see if this quote was posted anywhere else. My conclusion about John Adams and America's suicide is this:

John Adams, a Unitarian and very politically involved American, was saying "democracy...commit[s] suicide". This is telling for a guy who wasn't a Christian. So, prophecies could even come from the hard-hearted.

Look; God used Pharaoh. Couldn't John Adams have been used? Where are Greece, Rome, and other democracies of old? Look at America. It is being defeated by itself like Rome and Greece were by themselves.

Happy Pesach

I'm writing my blog in both Hindi and English for Hindi- and English-speaking Jews and Gentiles who are celebrating Pesach, or Passover.

First the English, which will be spoken of in Jewish terms:

A young boy named Moshe was born in Egypt to a Hebrew couple who had already had two other children, Aaron and Miryam. Moshe had to be taken from his house, put in a basket to hide, and float in that basket down the Nile River. Being carried by the Nile to Pharaoh's palace, Moshe's basket was seen by Pharaoh's daughter, who took the baby out and was the one that named him Moshe (meaning "drawn out"). Moshe grew up as an Egyptian prince after being nursed for the last time by a Hebrew woman who Miryam was asked to get to nurse Moshe. That woman was Moshe and Miryam's mother.

Moshe did not know or see his family for those 40 years while growing up an Egyptian prince. Then, defending a Hebrew slave who was whipped, Moshe killed an overseer and had to run in exile for his saftey, finding refuge with high priest Yithro and marrying Yithro's daughter, Tzipporah. Having Gershon and Eliezer, Moshe eventually went back with his new family to Egypt after meeting YahWeh while providing for his family as a shepherd.

Moshe, with Aaron and Miryam, Tzipporah and her sons, and the rest of the Hebrews were let go by Pharaoh after the words given to Moshe by YahWeh were fulfilled and after the first Pesach. To this day, Pesach, though changed over the years, is celebrated and recounts the events recorded in the book of Exodus.

Able to Blog Again

I was away for a couple of days and could not access my blog from where I was due to filters on the computer that I was using. It was also hard to access other things. But while the Toms and Thompsons (Tommy Thompson (R-WI), Tom Tancredo (R-CO), and Fred Thompson (R-TN)) try to enter the GOP 2008 Presidential race, Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) said it was okay to visit Syria and Jerusalem against White House wishes, racing against the White House and time.

It's not long before the Rapture's coming. Wars and rumors of wars, earthquakes, and other prophecies have been fulfilled. It's not long before they see "Elijah" (my speculation would be someone other than Elijah) at their doors on Passover, and then the Temple with who they think is whom they're waiting for.

James Webb Had A Loaded Pistol?

I'm not trying to be mean, but it seems like to me that Senator James Webb (D-VA) is a loaded pistol. Also, how about those guys in Maryland who didn't pass Jessica's Law until The O'Reilly Factor confronted them? Furthermore, the 110th Congress is still insisting on withdrawing troops by 2008. The Brits withdrew some troops, and look at how Iran pounced. Do the Democrats get that the U.S.A. is going from the United States of America to Usama's Spawning-ground of Attacks? If the party of Franklin Delano Roosevelt and John F. Kennedy keep screwing it up like FDR and JFK did (i.e., waiting to enter WW2 until Pearl Harbor, and having sex scandals such as was done with Marylin Monroe), then the American Dream will really be a dream. History will look at America as if it was not even there!

Good CNN Article on Tony Snow

I'll hardly read any news but anything from on posted on FOXNews.com, or in The Baltimore Examiner. But I clicked on a CNN article that I found on Google News, and it was actually, for CNN, a positive article.

If only CNN and other news stations could be like FOX News and other newspapers like The Baltimore Examiner.
