"Stand With Israel, Not Netanyahu"

Even I, a staunch Zionist who was already mad enough at Netanyahu and his Haredi Judaism which he attempts to disguise as Yahadut Chilonit, took a few steps back and thought:

If Netanyahu was largely passive while Arab citizens were being assaulted, he led the demonization campaign against the 47,000 African refugees and asylum seekers who entered Israel without permits. Despite reducing the number of refugees entering Israel to practically zero, thanks to the Sinai fence, he continues to lock up thousands of these desperate people – who, like our own Jewish ancestors, sought to escape persecution and poverty. Netanyahu’s policies flout Jewish values, and have been overturned multiple times by the High Court as immoral and unjustified. But they play well to his xenophobic base.

Good points and reminders. In fact, I wager that some of the Sudanese and other refugees may even be Falasha and Lemba Jews who are making aliyah in what many would call an illegal way—and if any "illegal" olim are among the Sudanese refugees, the Government of Israel has no right to deny those olim ("eleh Kushim!") their taglit. Also, think about this: what if some illegal immigrants from Mexico, Guatemala, etc. are Anusim who'd make aliyah if Netanyahu and his yadidim let them? After all, they're not considered Yehudim al pi HaHoq Shivut. They otherwise have to be under the auspices of nasty people such as Dr. Michael Freund. (Just like Netanyahu, Dr. Freund can fool people. That's even part of why I save most of my e-mails in my backup folders—that is, so I do not ever lose the proof of when I run into mitchazim like Dr. Freund. That's why I still have the link to the 2012 conversation.).

Likud-led fear and hatemongering hardly stops with our non-Jewish minorities. Progressives, civil rights activists, leftists, the judiciary and anyone who criticizes the occupation have all been accused of being enemies of the state. So much for Jewish solidarity or democratic discourse.
Indeed. I've experienced this myself. I even have a Facebook friend who called Senator Diane Feinstein (with whom I myelf hardly ever agree) a "witch" for standing against Netanyahu, and I've seen others harp on the fact that Senator Feinstein comes from a Jewish Catholic family (which I did not know until they harped on her for it. As I learned, the Feinsteins and the Rosenburgs were and are Russian Byzantine Catholics.).

From a family of Roman Catholic Anusim and b'nei Anusim, I know that feeling ("You're not Jewish!"; "Your family betrayed their people!"; "They're meshumadim!"; "They're bogadim!"; "Oh; no wonder your Hebrew's not good: your family didn't tell you that they're Jewish!")

Perhaps, by the way, maybe the Anusi and "meshumad" minds are among the ones which are quickest to pick up on trouble. Our ancestors knew when trouble was coming and/or already came, and at least two of us (Senator Feinstein and me, though I suspect that there are more who) knew that Netanyahu and the Haredim were trouble (By the way, I'll have some kavod for Taylor Swift if she goes to Israel and dedicates her famous song to Netanyahu.).

Anyway:

This week’s Netanyahu drumbeat claims that the Iranian threat trumps all traditional diplomatic considerations. But those who, like me, believe that Iran is an existential threat to Israel, and fear that the agreement currently being negotiated will be too forgiving and trusting of Iran need to acknowledge that Netanyahu has blown it.
His anti-Obama tirades, his support for West Bank settlements over all other considerations, his efforts to undermine the Palestinian Authority, his expropriation of 988 acres of Palestinian land at the end of the Gaza War not only wasted the new diplomatic opportunities he promised toward the war’s end, but alienated and antagonized the very European leaders who, along with U.S. President Barack Obama, are the partners necessary to stop Iran’s nuclear program.

Excellent reminder and point as well. For being such a Zionist, Netanyahu isn't taking the higher road. He also is not trusting יהוה. For example, bulldozing the houses of innocent Bedouins does not help—and deliberately failing to distinguish between the innocent and the guilty is a chillul יהוה.

Bulldozing the houses of terrorists and their accomplices is fine. Destroying terrorists and their accomplices is fine. Stereotyping all Arabs as terrorists and bulldozing their houses is not fine.

As for (and back to the point about) taking the higher road, to stoop down to the level of an enemy or even lower is a chillul יהוה (cf. Tehillim 25:21-22 and Mishlei 26:4). The applicable mitzvot, after all, say to love your neighbor as yourself (not be like him or her in doing evil), treat the stranger well (not do as he or she has done to you), and let יהוה avenge you. Netanyahu is doing the exact opposite when he has the IDF go beyond proactive counterproliferation, preemption, and deterrence.

By the way, counterproliferation, preemption, and deterrence are obviously mitzvot and acts of kiddush יהוה.

Netanyahu plays the statesman abroad, but back home he is known for his paranoia, his self-aggrandizement, and his lashing out against the courts, the universities and the media. Netanyahu aspires to be Israel’s Churchill, but in nurturing a nation divided against itself he has become our Nixon.
I and others who follow news from and about 'Eretz Yisra'el keep trying to say that, though nobody believes us. Hopefully, Director Futterman (despite that he's looking at the situation from a leftist perspective) can affect you to get that through your head.

Shema Kolainu, "Shema, Yisra'el", and Us People With Disabilities (Originally On LinkedIn)

Note: I will not be surprised if LinkedIn deletes this post, though. Nonetheless, I could not sit there and just be silent.

'Im kol kavod l'Doqtor Weinstein (with all respect to Dr. Weinstein), this pretty much goes to my point. People blame people with disabilities for bad attitudes (I have experienced this from even my own family.) and act like we're at fault when we don't get hired by (excuse my language) ablelisits (which is, as I found out, what we call those who hate us because of our disabilities).
Besides, given that Dr. Weinstein founded Hear Our Voices - Shema Kolainu, he should know how Adonai tested our hearts in the desert to see how able people would treat people, let alone kohanim, with disabilities (I, by the way, am mainly a Patrilineal Jew who, although I do have some Jewish heritage on my mother's side, knows that I am descended from Ashkenazi Levites and kohanim; and this, hopefully richly, colors my commentary on YouTube, etc..):
And the LORD spoke unto Moses, saying: 17 Speak unto Aaron, saying: Whosoever he be of thy seed throughout their generations that hath a blemish, let him not approach to offer the bread of his God. 18 For whatsoever man he be that hath a blemish, he shall not approach: a blind man, or a lame, or he that hath any thing maimed, or anything too long, 19 or a man that is broken-footed, or broken-handed, 20 or crook-backed, or a dwarf, or that hath his eye overspread, or is scabbed, or scurvy, or hath his stones crushed; 21 no man of the seed of Aaron the priest, that hath a blemish, shall come nigh to offer the offerings of the LORD made by fire; he hath a blemish; he shall not come nigh to offer the bread of his God. 22 He may eat the bread of his God, both of the most holy, and of the holy. 23 Only he shall not go in unto the veil, nor come nigh unto the altar, because he hath a blemish; that he profane not My holy places; for I am the LORD who sanctify them. 24 So Moses spoke unto Aaron, and to his sons, and unto all the children of Israel. {P}

The attitude that the able people among us came out with was not only unmerciful; it was also abysmally discriminatory. This kind of attitude, even in modern Western (read: Judeo-Christian) countries still prevails figuratively in many aspects, including in the workforce:
"8 And when ye offer the blind for sacrifice, is it no evil! And when ye offer the lame and sick, is it no evil! Present it now unto thy governor; will he be pleased with thee? or will he accept thy person? saith the LORD of hosts."
In fact, three examples of this attitude are demonstrated in two ABC News "What Would You Do?" episodes. One portrays how a woman who is "slow of speech" (as Moses described himself in Torah) is persecuted by ablelists. Two other examples (which I was seeking when I found the first) show how deaf people are slyly rejected by human-resource managers and how parking spaces are regularly taken by ablelists (and even my now-estranged father called out a woman who took an accessible parking space when he and I were at, as I initially recalled, a Blockbuster one time; and I recall that to this day. Needless to say, he was not thrilled when she was parking in the space just to return a video, as I remember. She didn't take it from me. Still, she disadvantaged my compatriots with disabilities. By the way, that was a long time ago.).
Sadly, this attitude has not changed from Biblical Times to allegedly-Judeo-Christian Times. This is despite how Adonai "desire[s] mercy, and not sacrifice" and even with laws such as the American With Disabilities Act—and so much for "one nation under G-d, indivisible with liberty and justice for all."

The Type Of Matters That I Want To Bring To the Forefront, And...

I can't bring up those matters when I'm being crushed under the weight of my own burdens. For example:

Catholic teaching prohibits the use of artificial contraception but allows the use of the so-called rhythm method, where couples avoid unwanted pregnancy by planning sex on days during the woman's menstrual cycle on which she is less likely to conceive.

Then some wondered why I was furious when a Facebook friend suggested that I "[m]arry Jesus in [my] heart." As I told him, my family suffered enough under the Roman and Byzantine Catholic Churches. Need I bring up Great-Granddad's family again, for example? Besides, I know exactly what "marry[ing] Jesus" means:

  1. As if I'm not already a Christian? Fur shanda
  2. I saw when, for instance, the SSND women at UNDM had on wedding bands to represent that they were "brides of Christ" (and I was reminded of that term when I read The Staircase recently).
I told him quite frankly:

"Marry Jesus"? What; become a nun? I'm a non-proselytizing Jewish Christian; and quite frankly, my paternal family dealt with enough from the Roman and Byzantine (e.g., Russian Orthodox) Catholic Churches for centurieswhich is why my and other branches became Anusim.

Also, this matter reminded me of why people complain about the Roman Catholic Church. After all, even Acts 15 prevents menstrual sex!  Again, my own paternal family dealt with enough from the Roman and Byzantine (e.g., Russian Orthodox) Catholic Churches for centuriesand part of that included watching and hearing as the Roman Catholic Church contradicted even the B'rit Chadashah, let alone (the rest of) Tanakh.

For People Whom Complain About Jews Leaving Europe

Why don't you go to Yerushalayim and carry Jews like me who are otherwise unable to make aliyah there?
"Thus saith the Lord יהוה: Behold, I will lift up My hand to the nations, and set up Mine ensign to the peoples, and they shall bring thy sons in their bosom, and thy daughters shall be carried upon their shoulders. And kings shall be thy foster-fathers, and their queens thy nursing mothers; they shall bow down to thee with their face to the earth, and lick the dust of thy feet; and thou shalt know that I am יהוה, for they shall not be ashamed that wait for Me." [Yeshayahu 49:22-23, JPS 1917; with the Name put back in there]
"And I will work a sign among them, and I will send such as escape of them unto the nations, to Tarshish, Pul and Lud, that draw the bow, to Tubal and Javan, to the isles afar off, that have not heard My fame, neither have seen My glory; and they shall declare My glory among the nations. And they shall bring all your brethren out of all the nations for an offering unto יהוה, upon horses, and in chariots, and in litters, and upon mules, and upon swift beasts, to My holy mountain Jerusalem, saith יהוה, as the children of Israel bring their offering in a clean vessel into the house of the יהוה." [Yeshayahu 66:19-20, JPS 1917; with the Name put back in there]
And death shall be chosen rather than life by all the residue that remain of this evil family, that remain in all the places whither I have driven them, saith  יהוהof hosts.

I have C.P. and cannot drive. Do you really, think, then, that I can get out of the U.S. to Israel? Many of my brothers and sisters in Europe are in similar positions.

Also like quite a few of my fellow Jews, I am a Nazarene/Messianic Jew/Jewish Christian of Anusi descent; so, I have an even-harder time making aliyah, and I refuse to be thought of as only a gentile of Jewish descentI intend to make aliyah as a Jew, since I am a Jew by ethnicity and denomination. In that case, then, I'd love to see Jewish and gentile Christian Zionists help us out and put actions where their mouths are. Shame on you if you make us choose death over life:

Are you really Christian Zionists, then, if you don't help especially Jewish Christians who otherwise couldn't make aliyah? Think about, for example, that we all are to "do good to all, especially to those who are of the household of faith." (Galatians 6:10, NKJV)

The Worst Of the Tragedies At Charlie Hebdo

Read the articles and do more research, and the worst of the tragedies at "Charlie Hebdo" will become very clear to you: a Holocaust survivor was the direct target of those who murdered 12, injured 11, and affected many others at "Charlie Hebdo". A survivor of the Nazi invasions into French Tunisia, Georges Wolinski (ז''ל והי''ד) moved to mainland France only to live into his 70s and avoid the fate that he could've had in what became a part of Vichy France. He was also the son of a Volyn'ska-rooted Yehudi Ashkenazi  and a Tunis-rooted Yehudit Mizrachit.

Wasn't that his paternal family endured horrors, including pogroms, at the hands of Imperial and Soviet Russia enough? Wasn't that has maternal family endured centuries of Anti-Semitic Arabocentrism enough (and he was a teen during the aliyot from Arab countries in 1948!)? Now he, also a son of survivors of Anti Semitism, became the victim of the Anti Semitism that he and his family were able to elude when Germany and the "Grand" Mufti (more like a "Satan Gadol") invaded one of the countries in which his maternal family had endured enough Anti Semitism, and to which his paternal family fled to escape Anti Semitism.

That, either an irony or a paradox created by G-d, is the worst tragedy at "Charlie Hebdo".

PS Vive le peuple de Yisra'el!

Example From My TOI "Wuerker" Post and Disclaimer

(Disclosure: this is mostly for those who have read my "Wuerker" post, by the way.)

For example, I can talk about what a traitor George Soros is because I know the facts, verified what I've read, and had family members (albe that they were distant ones) affected by the Shoah. Glenn Beck, who had and has no history with the Shoah, again has questionable intent. By the way, I first found out about George Soros in Culture Warrior. When I did, I honestly had no clue that I am Jewish and a bat-Anusim, let alone that George Soros (at least in some sense) has the blood of my family members (Anusi and openly Jewish alike) on his hands

By the way, George Soros also has to answer for the murders of some Nagys, among others, might I add—and If you think that I'm stupid, etc., by the way, I am not. I darned well know that, for example, "Levai" and "Nagy" can be Jewish; I know about kinnuim, etc.. If you think that I get drek from only my family on that, you are sorely mistaken.

I always have to add a disclaimer like this because of the tsores I go through at the hands of people who want to plant doubts in my head, etc. I basically go through something like what my dad's maternal granddad went through—in his case, he was always shot down with "The only reason that you say that we're Russian is because you work for the Russian Orthodox Church." How Dad pretty much passed down the drek to me was very much in similar words—something like, " "The only reason that he say that we're Russian is because he worked for the Russian Church.""

He worked for a Slovakian Byzantine Catholic Church in Swoyersville, Pennsylvania; and his father and mother were Anusim by the names of Gajdosz and Uszinsky—and let me tell you, he knew what he was saying. He never outright said that we're Jews, and that's because he would've been given a harder time. Let me add, too, that his parents never Magyarized their names—"Gajdosz" remained "Gaydosh", as opposed to "Gaydos"; and "Uszinsky" remained "Ushinsky", as opposed to "Usinsky".

Also, a Anusit Sefardit also got similar drek from her mishpachah; so, I'm not the first person to whom historical abuse (e.g., mental and verbal abuse in light of historical facts and findings) has happened. By the way, I can't find that example, though I remember reading it. I Googled and found plenty of other examples (including Susan Jacoby's! Who knew?)

147 Years Ago Yesterday, And The Disastrous Effects Which It Affected

On November 2, 1877, a newborn boy named András Rusznák was baptized. András was apparently just another Slovakian boy being baptized in Zlatá Idka, Slovakia (then Aranyida, Ausztria Magyarország) on, of all days, All Souls' Day. So, he allegedly was a newborn boy of Slovakian ethnicity being baptized on a special day. What's the big deal, then?

The big deal is this boy was neither a Slovakian ethnic or a real recipient of the Sacrament of Baptism. Speaking of souls as well, his parents' souls were not even into baptizing him at all. Furthermore, they themselves were נשמות אנוסים—forced souls. They weren't even there in Aranyida to be there.

They were there because they, Jakub and Marysia "Maria" Nováková, were בני אנוסים who just didn't feel comfortable returning to the shtetl of Kassa (now Košice) in nominally-religious-freedom-supporting Ausztria Magyarország (In fact, a Levite like Jakub—a kohen by the name of Fritzwould become an אנוסים in the next century. So, supposedly-tolerant Ausztria Magyarország wasn't so tolerant after all, and apparently became worse by the time that Fritz Kohn "Kerry" was persecuted.).

András Rusznák himself, however, did leave Aranyida, though he also didn't return to his ancestral shtetl. He, with a Molnár cousin, immigrated to the United States and lived no differently than Jakub (the son of אנוסים György "Kvetkovits" Rusznák HaLevi and Erzsébet Rusznáková née Molnárová) had lived in Ausztria Magyarország—that is, he lived as an אנוסי. After he did that, disaster struck.

András came to the United States in 1902 and never thought that he would receive a letter from his Kassa-residing cousins, let alone one in which a request for help was written. 40-42 years later, however, that kind of letter was received by him and his daughter Mary Rusnak Gaydos. Thus, the boundary that was erected by the Kassa relatives' sitting שבעה was broken—or so the Kassa cousins hoped.

Besides, they weren't sending a letter of reconciliation. They were sending a letter for העזרה לענין פיקוח נפש—help for the sake of piku'ach nefesh. They weren't looking after just themselves, either—they had families for whom to care and cousins who also had families, and family members in הארץ ישראל (which the Nazis and the Grand Mufti [ימח שמם] were targeting in their Middle Eastern invasion).

As I alluded to, disaster then struck. András Rusznák (now Andrew Rusnak) and Mary Rusnak Gaydos, in order to cover that they were Jewish and follow the isolationist policy of the United States under Anti-Semitic Franklin Roosevelt (ימח שמם)—ceased all correspondence with their Kassa cousins, most of whom were murdered in השואה (Andrew's and Mary's kind of attitude, by the way, also had affects on the S.S. St. Louis Incident.),

Then Andrew, now the widower of  Julia Fosko Rusnak (née Juliana Foczková, ז'ל) was stricken with cancer and died of it. By the way, Julia (an אישה צדיקה and a לוית צדיקה) was taken before she had to see all that would befall her husband and her oldest child. After that, Andrew and whoever wrote his obituary (presumably Mary) decided to invent a fictional brother for Andrew (Stef) and lie to Andrew's son Carl (an איש צדיק) , who was charged with filling out with his father's death certificate.

As for the disasters that befell Mary—well, I can safely say that, for example, having a granddaughter who attempted suicide and living to attend the funeral of her great-grandson who drowned count as two disasters (She died in 1992, just after the deceased great-grandson's sister was born, by the way. The decedent drowned in 1991. So, she was alive when a descendant died and didn't live to see another descendant grow before her eyes.).

By the way, all I received were evasive answers when I asked further questions about the supposed uncle of Mary, who allegedly wrote a letter to her in 1947. Also, there is no baptism record for him. So (so to speak), another hole was shot into that "Relatives wrote letters to ask for money, and she stopped writing" סיפור פיות.

So, what's the point? The point is the point that I made on Twitter, and this account is a case in point:

[F]orcing someone against his or her will always ends in disastrous results somewhere along the line.

Two Observations To Close Out the Night

  • I will never read "The Jewish Daily Forward" again. They belong right with "Tablet Magazine" among the intolerancia of the Jewish community, especially since that automatically deleted a comment just because I quoted Dr. Ya'akov S. Ariel, who said to the "Washington Jewish Week"

“I see Messianic Jews as a legitimate group. It’s an outcome of the engagement of evangelical Christians with Jews. This is a new way for Jews who have accepted Christianity to maintain their ties with Judaism. And in the last 30 years it has become much more Jewish.”

(The "Washington Jewish Week" is also among the intolerancia. Edith Brown was no "victim". She simply could've taken the pamphlet and read it or trashed it.)

To quote someone to make the point that some mainstream Jews actually do consider Messianic Jews as Jews is not proselytizing, much less sharing the Messianic faith (asked or unasked). I also quoted Dr. Amy-Jill Levine, by the way, to make that point.

  • To take a rabbi like Rabbi David Wolpe (who questioned the historicity of the Exodus, and during—of all times—Pesach) seriously is laughable, if one wants to talk about something that is actually laughable. Hediyotot like Drs. Amy-Jill Levine and Yaakov S. Ariel are more credible than rabbonim like Rabbi Wolpe will ever be.
וזה, הוא כל ללילה הזה. לילה טוב.

Follow Up To (With Clarifications Re) Dennis Prager Exposé

As I stated, "Unlike Dennis Prager, by the way, the apparently-irresponsible writer was honest as to what most Anti-Messianic (maybe even most Non-Messianic) Jews think about Christian Zionists—and, of course, Jewish Christian Zionists!" This was in reference to "'a writer on [Christian Zionists, and one who had written about Jews for Jesus in relation to the apparently-separate Christian Zionists] in the liberal Jewish newspaper The Forward.'"

Let me reiterate: "Unlike Dennis Prager, by the way, the apparently-irresponsible writer was honest as to what most Anti-Messianic (maybe even most Non-Messianic) Jews think about Christian Zionists—and, of course, Jewish Christian Zionists!"

I respect those like Akiva David Miller (an openly-Anti-Messianic Haredi man) over those like Dennis Prager. After all, Akiva makes no bones about what he feels toward Messianic Jews and gentile Christians—sheer hatred and animosity. In fact, he is a friend of Messianic Jews and gentiles when he is compared to Dennis Prager:

Open rebuke is betterThan love carefully concealed. Faithful are the wounds of a friend,But the kisses of an enemy are deceitful.

Akiva at least is willing to openly rebuke and wound us (although, as Messianics believe, misguidedly. Even if he never comes to believe in Yeshua [Jesus] as the Messiah, he would be less misguided than he is now if he came to realize what 34% of American Jews who are counted as Jews have come to realize: one can believe in Yeshua and still be Jewish, even though other Jews disagree with him or her on whether there is a literal Messiah—let alone about who Mashiach is! After all, believing in a Jewish man as the Jewish Messiah does not turn one into a gentile. Also, nobody can change his or her DNA.)

Dennis Prager, on the other hand, is exactly what I stated that he is: an enemy who is posing as a friend to Christian Zionists and promoters of Judeo-Christian values. Also as I stated, I respect those like Akiva over those like Dennis Prager, even though I don't like either one of them (despite that I have to love both of them as my neighbors and as fellow b'nei Yisra'elobviously to their chagrin, and they're welcome to let me know how and when believing in a Jewish man as the Jewish Messiah can change my DNA).

Dennis Prager Exposed With The Self-Incriminating Words of One of the Most Insidious Anti Messianics of All Time

Akiva David Miller (who, by the way, has never even been to Israel, as his public Facebook profile indicates) had the hutzpah to call his friend Dennis Prager his enemy:

Dennis Prager is a self-loathing Jew who neither speaks for other Jews nor knows what he's talking about when he talks about American Jewry. Prager is far more Christian than Jew and demonstrates that clearly with this ludicrous article. I am an Orthodox (Chassidish) American Jew who not only served our nation in the military but is intelligent enough to take seriously my pledge to defend the U.S. Constitution, along with its Establishment Clause. Prager is just one more history revisionist who wishes there were no such thing as a separation between Church and State; unfortunately for him both Jefferson and Madison knew better and wrote about that, leaving a clear historical record. Further, my activism on behalf of the 1st Amendment and the Separation of Church and State has nothing to do with secularism - I am a G-d fearing Orthodox Jew. Further, Prager is way off base when he insists that American Christians have noting in common with European Christians and their history of Anti-Semitism; the truth is that Anti-Semitism is alive and well among American Christians who routinely seek to inflict their cult of bigotry and hate on everyone else. Predatory proselytizing by American Christians is a cancer within our society and Fundamentalist Christianity is both a scourge within our society and a cult of hate. Unfortunately Prager is essentially a deluded member of that cult.
I frankly told Akiva what he needed (and probably wants) to read: Dennis Prager is actually his friend and an enemy to "that cult", especially the Jewish Christians among us. Dennis Prager's own words testify to that, by the way; and I made no bones about letting Akiva know that:

Akiva, chill out. First of all (and rather hypocritically), Dennis Prager has no kavod for Messianic Jews (Jewish Christians). In fact, he has gone out of his way to write about us, "I do not include among non-Jewish Jews those people who are born Jewish and convert to another religion, such as Christianity. These are Christians who happen to be born Jews, not non-Jewish Jews." (2006)

Furthermore, he goes out of his way to blast George W. Bush for even speaking to Messianic Jews. "What Jews cannot respect is when Jewish converts to Christianity deny they are Christians, call themselves Jews, and devote their lives to converting other Jews." (2013)

Secondly, he is pandering to gentile Christians so as to get support for his own agenda, which includes completely ostracizing and isolating Messianic Jews from the Jewish community. He even panders to the likes of "Jews need to be perfected [as if gentiles don't]" Ann Coulter. "Why is it laudable for a liberal to hope that conservatives convert to liberalism, but dangerous and hate-filled when a Christian hopes that Jews or anyone else will go to heaven (that is, after all, Ann Coulter's and most other Christians' primary concern) by believing in Jesus?" (2007) He even states, "As a practicing Jew, I do not agree with Ann Coulter's theology any more than those attacking her do. But I am neither offended by her nor frightened by her or her beliefs. She believes that Christianity is better than Judaism. So what?"

If anything, you're biting the hand of one of your Anti-Messianic ("Anti-Missionary") cohorts and friends. If I were you, I'd cheer Dennis Prager. He is doing exactly what you would like: pandering to gentile Christians to garner support for Israel and Orthodox and Haredi Judaism in the process, all while wanting to cut off and even obliterate Messianic Jews from among Israel. "The only positive Jewish response to Jews for Jesus is to figure out how to keep Jews Jewish so that they will not leave us for other secular or religious faiths. And the way to achieve that is to instill in young Jews faith in the Jewish trinity: God, Torah and Israel. Then they won’t seek any other trinity." (2013)

He wants exactly what you, Yad L'Achim, and your other cohorts want: to wholly strip us of our Jewish identities all because we believe in a Jewish man who he does not believe is the Messiah.

Don't believe it for yourself? Then do the Google searches on, e.g., "Dennis Prager [and] Messianic Jews" and "Dennis Prager [and] Ann Coulter". Also read his words about Messianic Jews and "Christian Zionists" (He, of course, is not talking about Jewish Christian Zionists.):

Jews should not allow their opposition to Jews for Jesus to bleed over to opposition to Christian Zionists, as a writer on this subject recently irresponsibly did in the liberal Jewish newspaper The Forward. Christian Zionists have been the best friends Jews have had for most of the last two centuries.
Dennis Prager—make no mistake—is dangerous and evil. Unlike Dennis Prager, by the way, the apparently-irresponsible writer was honest as to what most Anti-Messianic (maybe even most Non-Messianic) Jews think about Christian Zionists—and, of course, Jewish Christian Zionists!

So, as I told Akiva, I will tell every other Anti Messianic who wants hate on Dennis Prager—"If anything, you're biting the hand of one of your Anti-Messianic ("Anti-Missionary") cohorts and friends. If I were you, I'd cheer Dennis Prager.

As for what I'd tell Messianic Jews like myself and gentile Christian Zionists, avoid Dennis Prager as you would avoid those about whom Paul of Tarsus exhorted us millennia ago:

Yet I certainlydid not mean with the sexually immoral people of this world, or with the covetous, or extortioners, or idolaters, since then you would need to go out of the world. 11 But now I have written to you not to keep company with anyone named a brother, who is sexually immoral, or covetous, or an idolater, or a reviler, or a drunkard, or an extortioner—not even to eat with such a person.
In this case, Dennis Prager claims to be a brother in the Zionist cause and in promoting Judeo-Christian values. Of course, Dennis Prager is really as such in terms of Zionism and Judeo-Christian values:

Andthis occurred because of false brethren secretly brought in (who came in by stealth to spy out our liberty which we have in Christ Jesus, that they might bring us into bondage), to whom we did not yield submission even for an hour, that the truth of the gospel might continue with you.

Plainly and in other words, Dennis Prager is a false brother in the very causes in which he claims to be a brother of Christians, Zionists, and Christian Zionists.

Hi Nicole, thanks for taking time to respond to the film, I hope you got a chance to watch the video explaining why we chose to make the film.  If you would like to continue a conversation or have any questions please go here thatjewdiedforyou.com/chat-now/

I didn't even watch the video because I did not want to dignify or promote it in any way, shape, or form. As many have pointed out, many of the Nazis used Jesus (Yeshua) to commit horrid, Pseudo-Christian, Anti-Semitic (including Anti-Messianic) acts. As Holocaust survivor Edith Mayer Cord noted, Christianity was used by Martin Luther (who inspired much of Nazi ideology) to persecute Jews.

I knew right from the beginning that Moishe Rosen would never endorse or support using the Holocaust as a way to proselytize. "That Jew Died For You" crosses the line between sharing faith and proselytizing it; and, as Stuart Dauermann wrote (which I didn't even know):

"I remember Moishe (Moishe Rosen, Founder of Jews for Jesus) saying that one should never ask a survivor what he or she did to survive, because they all did things they are not proud of. He recognized that some things are hands off. Unfortunately, this film ignored that wisdom.

"Not everything that appears to advance the cause of the gospel is a good idea. This is why Moishe forbade JFJ to evangelize people under 18 without parental consent. He was wise: he realized it was inappropriate.  That kind of wisdom was missing in the release of this video."

Indeed (as Rev. Dauermann also noted), " I am afraid you triggered great animosity toward yourselves and the gospel.  Is it the gospel they are rejecting, or is it offensively poor taste? The answer is clear."

Look at YNet, VirtualJerusalem, and Ha'aretz for starters. I cringed when I saw how you affected Non-Messianic Jews and gentiles to perceive Messianic Judaism and Jews for Jesus.

The film was Moishes idea...  You should watch it before you criticize.  It was made to fight against antisemitism and to show who Jesus really is.  He is the suffering servant.

The animosity was already there before we ever made the film.  Now many Jewish people are talking about Jesus.  When my own father first heard about Jesus he was very angry, but the Holy Spirit softened his heart and now he follows Jesus.  Please have a more faith in this film and the power of the holy spirit.  Feel free to talk to me or anyone else on our chat about any other questions or concerns you have.    http://thatjewdiedforyou.com/chat-now/

+That Jew Died for You, then why wasn't it made when he was alive? You're succeeding in only sullying Moishe's memory, making the Gospel look foolish, and bringing down Jews For Jesus. What a shame.

Well, there wasn't a good way to get a film like this seen in a large scale while Moishe was alive and doing a film like this would have costed far more with far less quality.  So he had us wait.  I wish he was still alive to have seen it.  The film shows the Gospel played out during a Jewish tragedy, the concept was adapted and inspired by Marc Chagall's artistic works that also show Jesus in the holocaust.  By the way Marc Chagall isn't Messianic.  I really hope you reconsider and watch the film.  It is a good film that will help many Jews see Jesus in the best way possible.

+That Jew Died for You, I'd love to see the proof of that. If it was really Moishe's idea, wouldn't there have been a written statement from him on that? Also, wouldn't JFJ have released that statement after the backlash? So, you're trying to sully his memory and lie about him. One of the Aseret HaD'varim states that one should not bear false witness, and you're breaking that mitzvah.

We have original storyboards from Moishe and his wife and daughters will tell you the same.  Would you like his daughter to give you a call?

Why don't you do the right thing and release them for everyone to see?

Besides you, no one else has had an issue with the film being Moishe's idea.  But if showing you his story board will help you understand then I would be glad to share it.  I will send it tomorrow.

I would prefer that you do the right thing and release it for everybody to see. It received public backlash; it should be able to be defended in the public eye. After all, Yeshua Himself said, "there is nothing hidden which will not be revealed, nor has anything been kept secret but that it should come to light." (Mark 4:22
, NKJV) He also said through Kefa, "sanctify the Lord God in your hearts, and always be ready to give a defense to everyone who asks you a reason for the hope that is in you, with meekness and fear;  having a good conscience, that when they defame you as evildoers, those who revile your good conduct in Christ may be ashamed. For it is better, if it is the will of God, to suffer for doing good than for doing evil." (1 Kefa [Peter] 3:15
-17)

If you really think that you can defend your claims, then do it. As Rev. Dauermann wrote correctly, "You will discover that your message is not getting across, but that people are repelled, disgusted, and enraged. Paul reminds us that it is no compliment when “the name of God is blasphemed among the Gentiles because of you.”" Even worse when the name of God is blasphemed among our own people!

So you are not interested in seeing them.  That is fine.  The louder, not necessarily larger, Jewish community is upset because of Jesus.  If it was merely just because of the Holocaust they would be equally upset with films like Schindler's List or Escape from Sobibor.  The truth is that though the knee jerk reaction is offence and anger from anti-missionary sites, they do not represent the larger Jewish community.  Stuart Dauermann does not know what the real reaction will be.  He only sees what the press puts out which has never been supportive of the Gospel.

Now you need to know that I am a great grandchild of a murdered great grandmother and several other family members in Auschwitz.  Though my parents are Messianic much of the rest of my family a mix of reformed conservative and orthodox Jews.  Most of witch have seen the film and are now considering Jesus.  Though you have your doubts, the truth is the film works well for those who are willing to listen.

My concern is to see Jewish people consider who Jesus is.  When anti-missionaries raise their voice it is there goal to distract me from my goal.  I am not here to defend the film and prove it came from Moishe to you, if you would like to speak to his family and ask them about it feel free.

So, you're continuing to say that you're still willing to do the wrong thing and use your relatives to do it. Shame on you.
