Wedding?

Not "Momma"'s or the wedding of anyone else expected (or unexpected) by readers of the accounts of Reilly's antics, adventures, toleration of "Momma", etc.. The wedding in question is that one of "Momma"'s many cousins, and it's in Virginia. Thus, guess who can't go to the wedding—and guess which "Momma" is worried?

With Reilly being back all the way in Howard County, Maryland while "Momma" will be in Virginia for about seven to eight hours—unless she ends up staying home if a school-days classmate or neighbors would end up being unable to petsit—Reilly's "Momma" is a worried "Momma". While even Reilly likes celebrating weddings and marriages, she sure doesn't like when "Momma" has to be away for a wedding or any other event—and the last wedding for which "Momma" was away was in the Baltimore area, and "Mom-Mom" was home that day with Reilly. This time, not even "Mom-Mom" will be there—so, Reilly will be a little freaked out either way.

(Incidentally, "Momma" dreams of that day when—Yehovah willing—Reilly will be part of a wedding party. As she's cynically—albe understandably—stated, "Momma" doesn't expect that anytime soon, and—as she forestated—she doesn't expect that the readers of Reilly-related accounts expect it anytime soon, either.)

Meanwhile, Reilly's apparent equivalent of hadibrot harishonah v'shlishit (as she jealously sat on "Mom-Mom"'s lap):

"You shall have no other dogs before me, for I, Reilly the dog, am a jealous dog, visiting the slights of others upon the fur children of those whom provoke me to jealously, but showing affection to thousands, those whom love me and give in to my demands for scritches and belly rubs."

Somewhat To Mostly Offbeat: "Momma"/"Auntie Nicole" Means When She Says That...

Reilly and Camille are a main reason why she is alive right now—and, to the chagrin of many, she has said this before. She wonders what would happen to especially Reilly if something ever happened to her, and something almost did happen to her before she got Reilly—she overslept to the point at which she could have died due to starvation due to oversleeping because of a Depression flareup had the flareup become worse than it already had been.

As she's also mentioned before, she missed much of Reilly's first year because of her Depression flareup—not to mention "Auntie Michelle"'s Depression-exacerbating insistence that her apparent "experience" was more important than her reading, talking to pet owners in the neighborhood, &c.. Luckily, Reilly did—as all pre-adult puppies do—need 16-20 hours of sleep per day, and at least "Auntie Michelle" would bring up Reilly to see her in the mornings—so, she got to spend more time with her than she would and could have spent otherwise.Nonetheless, she swore to take a hands-off approach and not help  Miss "Experience" at all once Camille came home, since Miss "Experience" insisted that she knew better than her. She ended up capitulating, anyway, and became a helpful-enough "Auntie Nicole".

She also tried becoming a better "Momma". Then in January of 2016, she began to experience a really-rough time that has gone on in an up-and-down way for more than two years now—and an event that relates to that happened in May and really affected confusion in her that is still affecting her to have draining Depression, OCD/Anxiety, ADD, and other flareups that affect her to too often be—among other things—a bad "Momma" to patient-anyway-though-quite-often-understandably-frustrated Reilly. Meanwhile, Reilly has often reminded her to stay alive when she has reached really-low points and entertained not-so-good thoughts. She also has taught her patience while, for example, she awaits a certain answer for both of their sakes.

So people can keep feeling chagrin when "Momma"/"Auntie Nicole" states that she would be dead right now were Reilly and Camille in her life, even though—as has been observed by at least a few people—facts never base themselves on anyone's feelings—including feelings of chagrin.

Somewhat To Mostly Offbeat: One Thing That Can Really Frustrate "Momma" Is That....

She has to whittle more-complex matters down to simple explanations that don't begin to cover the matters. For example:

1. "I'm not as strong as Mom-Mom and Auntie Michelle" doesn't begin to fully explain Cerebral Palsy.
2. "My bladder and my colon are acting funny" doesn't begin to explain IBS flareups.
3. Even "I'm having an OCD flareup" doesn't explain OCD/Anxiety, which "Momma" has tried to explain to Reilly as best as one can explain OCD/Anxiety to puppies of any age.
4. "Some people are just not very nice" doesn't exactly help differentiate between, for example, ableists and the the kind of people that may put up yet another barrier between "Momma" and "Momma"'s and Reilly's actual and potential friends—including everybody whom reads about and would want to about Reilly.

That can make being the best-possible "Momma" to Reilly much harder than it already is—how can "Momma" be a good "Momma" when she can't explain why the world is "a very-bad world"? "Momma"'s not always a good "Momma" as is, anyway!

#FluffyFriday: Somewhat Offbeat: Why Reilly Deserved Some Peanut Butter Last Night

Again, Reilly was incredibly patient with "Momma" and even laid beside her for a while as she was wrapping up last night—and for some reason (a certain reason¹, as far as "Momma" can tell and as she again explained to Reilly last night), "Momma" keeps failing Reilly even though she promises to be a better "Momma" (Besides, once "Momma"'s night-owl and OCD/Anxiety-, ADD-, and Depression-affected mind gets going at night, it gets going at night and "Momma" suddenly decides to look up a lot of things while—for example—she's waiting for a certain answer for her and Reilly's sakes). Thus, "Momma" gave Reilly the peanut butter that she promised her—and Reilly of course very much enjoyed having a spoonful of peanut better.

Three Moments Of Sanity Or Shalom Or Something

Only just a few minutes ago did "Momma"/"Auntie Nicole" fully grasp that the following were moments of reminders of sanity¹, shalom, or something:

1. In the first two pictures, Reilly is content just to lay by "Momma" and try to receive belly rubs from "Momma" and "Mom-Mom" (whom was off work). The pictures were taken after the shooting after the NSA Shooting occurred,
2. In the last three pictures, Camille is being her cute self and kind of trying to avoid when "Auntie Nicole" is taking a picture. Nonetheless, Camille doesn't mind that "Auntie Nicole" gave her "Bucky", her favorite of toy of late, with which to pose. These were taken as the fallout of the Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School Shooting unfolded and was being covered in the news cycle, and they were taken quite a bit after Reilly and Camille were perhaps consoling a whom-they-could-sense-was-distressed "Momma/Auntie Nicole" as they gave kisses, asked for belly rubs, etc.
3. The following video shows Camille "Klutzmille" Dominique Czarnecki going on a ball-playing spree which confuses her cousin Reilly, and it was recorded shortly after midnight in the EST Time Zone:

These pictures and videos, not to mention the moments which they captured, also helped remind "Momma" of how loving and sweet her "dogter" was last night, as "Momma" once again had a lot on her mind. Of course, they also help remind "Momma"/"Auntie Nicole" of two of her top reasons for living in this world anymore, as she honestly doesn't know if she could make it if she didn't have a "dogter" and a furniece to love and for whom to care as much as she can².

¹Though as "Momma"/"Auntie Nicole" knows, one can't really call moments that simply involve evil and not mental illness "moments of insanity".
² And not having someone to love, let alone an answer from a certain someone whom could be her someone to love, and help her be a "Momma" to Reilly is making her "die a little...everyday".

When Reilly and Camille Can Tell That Others Are Treating "Momma"/"Auntie Nicole" Poorly

Without going into details, "Momma"/"Auntie Nicole" will say that she's seen when Reilly and Camille have sensed that others are treating her poorly. She might've mentioned before that Reilly's sensed that, though she's not sure if she's mentioned that Camille can sense that. Nonetheless, it's worth (re)mentioning about Reilly and worth mentioning about Camille because of how recently it's happened.

Even tonight, for example, Camille ran away from someone whom was not being nice to "Auntie Nicole" when the someone in question wanted to give scritches to Camille after the situation that occurred devolved. As for Reilly, she's given "Momma" kisses when she's sensed that "Momma"'s not been treated well and has even had some hopeless thinking as a result.

Belated #FunnyFriday Post: Maybe Camille Should've Been Named "Snappy"!

When Reilly was annoying Camille and not listening to "Mom-Mom", Camille took the matter into her own hands. Actually, she took the matter into her own paws. In fact, she literally took the matter into her own teeth—she growled and snapped at Reilly! She even had her "Auntie Nicole" being a bad "Momma" to Reilly and laughing about it—"Momma" definitely saw another example of Reilly's having met her match in that cousin of hers!

Of course, "Momma"/"Auntie Nicole" did console Reilly all while she made clear that she understood why Camille snapped and nonetheless needed to apologize to her and give her kisses. Camille did not feel like apologizing, nonetheless, and did not—as "Auntie Nicole" recalls—stay around "Auntie Nicole" and Reilly too long after that—she knew that she was in trouble!

As a result, "Auntie Nicole" quipped that Camille definitely could've been named "Snappy" after tonight when what Camille could've been named!

Ameri-canine DJ Camille & The U.S. Government Shutdown At La Casa De Reilly Rosalita

Some creatures, mostly of the human variety, have "cribs", "pads", "man-caves" or ("Auntie Nicole" supposes) "woman-caves", "dens", and other various colloquially-described residences. Camille has a house which she shares with a twice-removed cousin, a "Mimi", an "Auntie Nicole", and a "Mom-Mom"; and her turntables tend to be chairs, couches, carpets, mats, beds, blankets, and any other soft surface that she can use.

As the government shutdown continues, meanwhile, Camille is obliviously chilling with her "Mimi".

As for Reilly, she is also obliviously chilling and waiting for "Momma" to take her upstairs so that they can go "night nights". "Momma", thus, is wrapping up for the night and nonetheless thinking about how a government shutdown is exacerbating her mental-illness flareup—another one which was brought on partly by not having a clear answer re a certain matter, and which has kept her up late into the night and affected Reilly.

As the saying goes, chai, zeh chai—life is life—and Camille maybe could provide some of her canine "music" for any movie that would be made about her and Reilly or her and "Mimi"/"Auntie Michelle", "Auntie Nicole"/"Momma" and Reilly, or whomever else.
