Happy National Puppy ("Dog") Day!
Despite "Momma"'s/"Auntie Nicole"'s rough morning, "Momma"/"Auntie Nicole" is kvelling since she just found out that today's National Puppy ("Dog") Day¹ in the United States! Meanwhile, look for a National Puppy Day card later, since "Momma"/"Auntie Nicole" has to have Reilly and Camille get their picture taken for a National Puppy Day card!
¹Since puppies are always puppies, whether Pre-Adult, Adult, or Senior Puppies

Reilly's Barking Only Causes "Momma"'s OCD/Anxiety To Flare Up
Part of the reason that "Momma"'s considering DBS Surgery is that Reilly's barking can flare up "Momma"'s OCD/Anxiety—and today is one of those horrid days on which Reilly's inappropriate barking is causing a flare up. "Momma" has a hard time sleeping at night, anyway, due to the OCD/Anxiety in part—and then the OCD/Anxiety in turn flares up due "Momma"'s tiredness. As a result, Reilly's inappropriate stresses her out more and effects the OCD/Anxiety to flare up—especially when she won't listen when she's told to stop barking.
It's a vicious cycle of OCD/Anxiety flareups, "Momma"'s lack of sleeping well, OCD/Anxiety flareups, and Reilly's inappropriate barking causing more stresses.

So Far, The "Gwirls" Are Doing Well With The Eclipse. As For "Momma"/"Auntie Nicole"....
She, if you will, cheated and watched the Solar Eclipse on a newscast livestream. Incidentally, meanwhile, she wishes that she had someone with whom the watch the Solar Eclipse in 2024—and in any case, meanwhile, Reilly is not watching it because "Momma" does not want Reilly to freak out or go blind.

The Solar Eclipse Worries "Momma"/"Auntie Nicole" For Reilly's & Camille's Sakes
For example:
- Are the girls going to understand to any extent what's happening?
- Could they, God forbid, get blinded by the strength of the sun's rays?
- How will they react to the temperature drop?

Just When "Momma"/"Auntie Nicole" Thinks That Reilly & Camille May Not Give Her Writing Fodder....
They do. For example:
- Reilly demonstrated that treats are her price for a trick. With Reilly, Halloween would be "No trick if no treat." Not even a scritch or belly rub works at all (or at least usually).
- Reilly and Camille gave, respectively, "Mom-Mom" and "Auntie Michelle"/"Mimi" quite the scratches today when a kid accidentally let go of his one-year-old Golden Retriever's leash and thus affected Reilly and Camille to freak out over a very-playful and much-bigger-than-them puppy. Understandably, the Golden Retriever freaked out in return and affected "Mom-Mom" and "Auntie Michelle"/"Mimi" to have to pick up Reilly and Camille quickly.
- Reilly barked and set off "Momma"'s myoclonus again right before she and Camille went upstairs for their evening nap. Despite that "Auntie Michelle" doesn't like "Momma" saying so, Reilly is going to kill "Momma" someday unless "Momma" has someone to be a helpmate to her in general and to help her out with being a "Momma" to Reilly.
- Camille just ran upstairs without "Mimi"'s and "Mom-Mom"'s permission a while agp because Camille really wanted to take her evening nap.

Why "Momma" & Reilly Didn't Say "Night Nights" On Livestream Last Night, And...
Once again, as has been pretty much the case all week, "Momma" has had trouble getting comfortable and falling asleep at night—part of that, of course, has to do with thinking about a certain subject. As for why "Momma" and Reilly didn't say "Night nights" last night on livestream, that has to do with that "Auntie Michelle" was so tired.
By the way, a couple of anecdotes (mostly from "Mom-Mom") regarding Reilly's and Camille's vet visit:
By the way, a couple of anecdotes (mostly from "Mom-Mom") regarding Reilly's and Camille's vet visit:
- "Mom-Mom" shot down "Momma"'s/"Auntie Nicole"'s idea of taking Reilly and Camille to pick up "Auntie Michelle"/"Mimi" from after the vet visit—notwithstanding that "Momma"'/"Auntie Nicole"' wanted Reilly and especially Camille to have a good experience after visiting the vet and while being on a car ride.
- The thunder and lighting exacerbated Camille's vet-visit anxiety.
- Reilly actually jumped into the vet tech's arms when he told Reilly, "Come on, Ri. Let's get your weight." Meanwhile, Reilly is now slightly underweight (14.5 pounds) and was actually obese (18.2 pounds 👀) "about a year ago"—how much can change in a year!
- Even though Reilly and Camille let their thunder-and-lighting-induced anxiety affect them to not behave as well at the beginning of their vet visit, both behaved for the vet techs and the vet overall. Camille also—from per "Mom-Mom" and "Mimi"—did not have an anxiety-induced "potty" accident like she's had in the past!

Hearing Reilly Drink Some Water This Morning
For Reilly to drink water is significant, given that Reilly doesn't drink as much water as she should (Maybe Reilly somehow picked up on "Momma"'s lack of drinking enough water—to be fair to herself, though, "Momma" should mention that she often avoids a lot of water to prevent IBS flareups.).
When "Momma"/"Auntie Nicole" heard somebody drinking water, then, she turned around to see who was drinking around. She saw that Camille was (and still is) napping on the chair behind her (and Reilly is now napping on the couch in an adjacently-across-from-Camille position).
Meanwhile, "Momma" is preparing to have to take Reilly "peedy" soon (and may have to tell Reilly—as she sometimes has to tell her—to "hurry up and find a peedy spot [because she has] to go peedy") and drink (besides maybe a little bit of coffee) a little bit of water (and notwithstanding that many say that those like "Momma" give in to the counterproductive paradox of avoiding water while drinking caffeinated beverages, let her just say that caffeine helps keep her as homeostatic as she can be—besides, she had to literally have caffeine in her IV drip as she recovered from ITB Pump surgery, since she couldn't hold down even water for the first four days of recovery!).
By the way, Camille just moved from the chair to the couch, and she's napping to the left of Reilly and watching "Auntie Nicole" as "Auntie Nicole" finishes this blog entry. As for Reilly, she just rolled over onto her back and is anticipating a belly rub from "Momma".

There Were Definitely Some Not-So-Fun Points in Reilly's & Camille's Day
For example:
- "Momma"/"Auntie Nicole" had to yell at Reilly and Camille, threaten to use the spray bottle, and then (after they were done barking inappropriately) explain to them why their inappropriate barking could cause her to fall someday. Camille learned her lesson more than Reilly learned her lesson, though both still barked inappropriately at points throughout the day.
- "Momma"/"Auntie Nicole" had to tell Reilly and Camille that the aide that comes over every day to help her get out won't be coming over anymore, about which they really sad (Meanwhile, why the aide isn't coming over involves a long story & gives more for a point that "Mom-Mom"'s insistence re an aide for "Momma/Auntie Nicole" just isn't going to work.).
- Unlike Camille with the first around, Reilly didn't "find a peedy spot" the second time around or get any yogurt as a treat for finding "a peedy spot".

Reilly & Camille May Cause "Momma"/"Auntie Nicole" To Break Her Head Someday!
This morning, Reilly and Camille set off "Momma"'s/"Auntie Nicole"'s myoclonus again (and even as "Momma"/"Auntie Nicole" types, Reilly and Camille are setting off her myoclonus)! As a result and earlier in the day, "Momma"/"Auntie Nicole" swore that Reilly and Camille are going to cause her to break her head someday. As for when they've barked in the past and set off her myoclonus, she has even asked them if they want to cause her to fall and die someday by barking like they bark.
Meanwhile, Reilly's inappropriate barking is part of why "Momma"/"Auntie Nicole" changed her mind on writing about a certain subject—she needs someone whom can exert authority over Reilly than she can (She even just said right now, "Those two are gonna ****ing kill me" as Reilly and Camille bark and she can't exert authority over them)!
