Rejection By Family Is Never Easy...

I assume that a relative either added me on Facebook by mistake, or she added me then reneged her friend request. As I said, rejection by family is never easy. But as I've blogged about before, I've been rejected by family, from my immediate family (e.g., Dad and Pop-Pop) to much of the rest of 'Am Yisra'el-- for:

10 Then He said to them, “Nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. 11 And there will be great earthquakes in various places, and famines and pestilences; and there will be fearful sights and great signs from heaven. 12 But before all these things, they will lay their hands on you and persecute you, delivering you up to the synagogues and prisons. You will be brought before kings and rulers for My name’s sake. 13 But it will turn out for you as an occasion for testimony. 14 Therefore settle it in your hearts not to meditate beforehand on what you will answer; 15 for I will give you a mouth and wisdom which all your adversaries will not be able to contradict or resist. 16 You will be betrayed even by parents and brothers, relatives and friends; and they will put some of you to death.17 And you will be hated by all for My name’s sake. 18 But not a hair of your head shall be lost. 19 By your patience possess your souls.

22 And you will be hated by all for My name’s sake. But he who endures to the end will be saved.23 When they persecute you in this city, flee to another. For assuredly, I say to you, you will not have gone through the cities of Israel before the Son of Man comes.

As the proverb goes, "Lo kol asher Yisra'el, Yisra'el" -- "Not all who are Israel are Israel." Some don't even want to be Israel:

16 For who, having heard, rebelled? Indeed, was it not all who came out of Egypt, led by Moses?17 Now with whom was He angry forty years? Was it not with those who sinned, whose corpses fell in the wilderness? 18 And to whom did He swear that they would not enter His rest, but to those who did not obey? 19 So we see that they could not enter in because of unbelief.

12 From then on Pilate sought to release Him, but the Jews cried out, saying, “If you let this Man go, you are not Caesar’s friend. Whoever makes himself a king speaks against Caesar.”
13 When Pilate therefore heard that saying, he brought Jesus out and sat down in the judgment seat in a place that is called The Pavement, but in Hebrew, Gabbatha. 14 Now it was the Preparation Day of the Passover, and about the sixth hour. And he said to the Jews, “Behold your King!”
15 But they cried out, “Away with Him, away with Him! Crucify Him!”
Pilate said to them, “Shall I crucify your King?”
16 Then he delivered Him to them to be crucified. So they took Jesus and led Him away.[c]

From this passage, by the way, we see that Pilate did not really believe that Yeshua (Jesus) was innocent and intended to make a mockery of the hyped-up, confused, and otherwise-emotional Jews (many of whom would later be confirmed a part of the remnant, as was Paul ).

Discussed previously:

"31 Therefore, because it was the Preparation Day, that the bodies should not remain on the cross on the Sabbath (for that Sabbath was a high day), the Jews asked Pilate that their legs might be broken, and that they might be taken away. 32 Then the soldiers came and broke the legs of the first and of the other who was crucified with Him. 33 But when they came to Jesus and saw that He was already dead, they did not break His legs. 34 But one of the soldiers pierced His side with a spear, and immediately blood and water came out. 35 And he who has seen has testified, and his testimony is true; and he knows that he is telling the truth, so that you may believe. 36 For these things were done that the Scripture should be fulfilled, “Not one of His bones shall be broken.”[f] 37 And again another Scripture says, “They shall look on Him whom they pierced.”[g]
"38 After this, Joseph of Arimathea, being a disciple of Jesus, but secretly, for fear of the Jews, asked Pilate that he might take away the body of Jesus; and Pilate gave him permission. So he came and took the body of Jesus. 39 And Nicodemus, who at first came to Jesus by night, also came, bringing a mixture of myrrh and aloes, about a hundred pounds. 40 Then they took the body of Jesus, and bound it in strips of linen with the spices, as the custom of the Jews is to bury. 41 Now in the place where He was crucified there was a garden, and in the garden a new tomb in which no one had yet been laid.42 So there they laid Jesus, because of the Jews’ Preparation Day, for the tomb was nearby."

Thus, Hebrew4Christians is incorrect: Yeshua was considered as though dead on Thursday night (arrested, etc.) and risen on Sunday morning. So, 1/2 (Thursday night (14 Aviv)) + 1 (all day Friday (14-15 Aviv)) + 1 (all day Saturday (15-16 Aviv)) + 1/2 (Sunday morning (16 Aviv)):

Mark 14:58 KJV

We heard him say , I will destroy this temple that is made with hands, and within three days I will build another made without hands.

An Example Of How My Critics Work

I've held this back for a while; but give how much criticism I've gotten just within the past day, I figured that now's the time to blog about this-- and to get this blog entry out of the way before Pesach. For example, I see who one of my critics re  is now. "The highlight of my winter each year! Krystal Keith's debut album coming out early summer! Get it!! She is genuine...called My Hailey with a word of encouragement! She didn't have to! I love my friends from Norman, OK! They have gone beyond measure to make a poor boy from Podunk South Carolina....feel Famous....love u guys! shannon tanner". He's piggybacking for fame! As I implied, I see how he works.

Most of my critics are like Shannon Tanner, I realize: that is; users and abusers of others, and otherwise vain lovers of the self.
