Are There Really Seven Continents? Nope...

There are actually 10:

  1. North America
  2. Central and Caribbean America
  3. South America
  4. Europe
  5. Russia and the Caucuses
  6. Asia
  7. India and Indoasia
  8. Australia and Oceania
  9. The Middle East
  10. Africa
Some example "Say what?" questions and responses to them follow:

  1. Why 10 and not seven?
  2. What about Antarctica?
  3. Regarding Russia—really? Isn't Russia a country?

  1. Even culturally, nuances between—for example—Central and South America, with Central America already separated from South America by being a part of North America, exist. On the other hand, clearer-cut distinctions between Central America and North America exists.
  2. The North and South Poles technically are not continents—as goes for the Arctic, so goes for Antarctica.
  3. With 21 republics alone, Russia—unlike with the United States with the 12 states that became more or less provinces or districts—is more or less its own continent that includes the state of Russia, just as Australia and Oceania includes the state of Australia.

Notes:

  1. In political science, "state" means a government and the territory acquired thereby. Nation states include states of nations (Greek "ethnos", plural "ethni"): e.g., the classical and modern examples of Israel, Greece, and Italy (Roma, which later expanded as the Imperium Romanum that forcibly co-opted several nation states; and now is much-smaller Italy with Italic states such as Tuscany co-opted in it).
  2. Holdout Rhode Island did not become the 13th state to ratify the Constitution until 1790!
  3. For the Abrahamic religious groups, there has to be a total of 10 continents. See Daniel 7, focusing on Daniel 7:7-24. However one interprets Daniel 7, the fourth beast and the 11th king has to arise from Jerusalem (cf. Deuteronomy 32:8-10 and Ezekiel 5:5) be different from the other beasts and kings. In fact, even a Medieval schema looked like this with three kingdoms—with formal, informal, and hoped-for co-options—and Jerusalem in the middle:

Thanking All Who Liked My Page Recently and Like My Page, And...

  1. לפסח ושבת שלום ומבורך לכולם. (For a peaceful and blessed Passover and Sabbath to all.)
  2. For Messianic Jews/Jewish Christians, remember why we (and gentile Christians) celebrate פסח:
  • "שמרו זאת בזיכרון של לי."
  • "בכל שעה שאתם אוכלים מצה הזאת ושותים הכוס הזה, אתם מכריזים המות שלי עד אני באה."
(If you don't read even some Hebrew, use Google Translate to translate it. Incidentally, I used Hebrew-Verbs.co.il, Milon, and other sources [including what I remembered from studying Hebrew in college] to translate it into Hebrew].)

Also, G-d willing, I'll try to record videos on, among other subjects:

  1. Bladder cancer, since I do volunteer for the Bladder Cancer Advocacy NetworkAs I explained to the recruiter (Natalie Bennett), I have a history of other cancers (e.g., Colon Cancer) in my family (e.g., Pop-Pop had it. BTW, he also died of Myelodysplasia that turned into Leukemia), and I can imagine that Bladder Cancer is exacerbated by conditions such as IBS (which I have) and, of course, Colon Cancer.  By the way, when I talked to Natalie, I learned that Bladder Cancer is the most-diagnosed cancer in the United States, despite that it hardly gets awareness raised for it (compared to, e.g., Breast Cancer. Great-Granddad's cousin Katarzyna Czerniecka Czokola, as I found out, did die of Breast Cancer, by the way.).
  2. Why Russia and the Middle East are, quite frankly, their own continents, despite their current classification. Technically, Central America could be its own continent, too.
  3. What "few in number" for Israel might actually mean (i.e., depending on who is considered Jewish ethnically and/or spiritually Biblically and amongst Jews. Either way, we're "few in number" from at least an ethnic standpoint.)
Meanwhile, ללילה ושבת ופסח טוב ושלום ומבורך לכל ישראל וצדוקים מגויים.

PS Part of the reason that I promoted my Facebook page is to (hopefully) get noted for my commentary and (G-d willing) get a job as a commentator and an analyst. Being, e.g., on SSI benefits sucks (and I opposed being on them at first, feeling that doing so was a form of socialism and being a burden on the tax payers. Besides, I have been persecuted for being on them [See below for a horrid example.]. But what can I do when, e.g., I have C.P., no paying job, etc.?)

JohnLeePedimore has replied to your comment on Shocking Video: Should "Adult Baby" Collect Social Security Benefits?:
@Nickidewbear

Let me guess, your family actually works for a living and turned their back on you because you are a lazy pig.

Also PS: I save most of my emails. BTW, I just noticed this now-just-reported comment, too:
It's bad enough that you people leech off the American taxpayer like parasites, but what really pisses me off is the utter contempt you have for the hard working people who foot the bill for your lazy ass.You don't appreciate anything you have because you didn't have to work for it. You are a thief.
Then people swear that attitudes toward people with disabilities has changed...actually, it has gotten worse. Then they want me to represent people with disabilities when they act like I, a person who lives with a disability, don't know what I'm talking about....no kidding, as one Haggadah reads (with my emphasis and bracketed additions), that :
Access to affordable housing, quality health care, nutritious food and quality education is far from equal. The disparity between the privileged and the poor is growing, with opportunities for upward mobility still gravely limited. Maimonides taught, “Everyone in the house of Israel is obligated to study Torah, regardless of whether one is rich or poor, physically able or with a physical disability.” Unequal access to basic human needs [e.g., being treated as a human being who was created in the image of G-d], based on one’s real or perceived identity, like race, gender or disability, is a plague, antithetical to the inclusive spirit of the Jewish tradition.
And
We do not adequately address violence in our society, including rape, sex trafficking, child abuse, domestic violence and elder abuse [including verbal, mental/psychological, religious/spiritual, and other intangible/non-physical abuse; and neglect], even though it happens every day within our own communities.

AncestryDNA Autosomal DNA Analysis Version 2.0 and Problems Therewith

Ancestry.com's AncestryDNA still has problems. Ancestry.com is on Version 2.0, though, to be fair. Nonetheless, part of their methodology still includes counting "nations of the former Yugoslavia—Croatia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Serbia, Montenegro, Kosovo, and Macedonia"—as part of Eastern Europe (Europe East).

Also, they count European Jews as native to Europe—"The chart above (in blue) shows that the DNA of the typical person from the European Jewish region is very unique to this region. Most people from this region have very little (if any) DNA shared with neighboring regions. However there are some exceptions to this. When we estimate ethnicity for people from this region a small minority see results showing 65% of their DNA is similar to this region."

Their methodology also includes major problems—e.g., "The next step is to estimate a customer’s ethnicity based on the DNA of the reference set of individuals, as well as the DNA of the customer. We assume that an individual’s DNA is a mixture of DNA from a set of “source” reference populations." Their reference panel includes "a candidate set of 4,245 individuals."

That's not even 0.0001% of the global population. (Divide 6,000 by 6,000,000,000,000 to get this number.). They say at the end, nonetheless, that they are improving that. "Currently, we are working to even further expand our global reference panel for future ethnicity updates. We have already begun genotyping and analyzing samples for a future update which will provide finer-grained estimates of ethnicity."

However, they did seem to confirm what I was saying about us being Jewish (Also count that other Jews have had problems being noted as Jewish by AncestryDNA), and that we may have had possible Sephardic ancestry:

By the way, "Palestine" (Israel) is erroneously counted as part of the "Caucusus". So are Iran, Iraq, and Syria. Google "AncestryDNA European Jews" and "AncestryDNA Ashkenazi Jews", by the way: you will see that other Ashkenazi Jews are having problems with AncestryDNA. Also, they continue not to match my dad up with a Fosko third cousin and a Margevich cousin:

Is The Kabul That Hiram Hated In Israel?

Or is it Kabul, Afghanistan? "And he said , What cities are these which thou hast given me, my brother? And he calledthem the land of Cabul unto this day."

First, let's look at "Cabul" in Strong's Concordance:

The KJV Old Testament Hebrew Lexicon
 Strong's Number:   03521
Original WordWord Origin
lwbkfrom the same as (03525) in the sense of limitation
Transliterated WordTDNT Entry
KabuwlNone
Phonetic SpellingParts of Speech
kaw-bool'    Proper Name Location
 Definition
Cabul = "binding"
  1. a city on the border of Asher and located approx 10 miles (16 km) east of Akko; modern 'Kabul'
  2. a district in Galilee given by Solomon to Hiram and contemptuously called 'Cabul' by Hiram
King James Word Usage - Total: 2
Cabul 2

Then let's look at how far Ha'Eretz Yisra'el is supposed to expand. For example:

  • Exodus 23:31 KJVAnd I will set thy bounds from the Red sea even unto the sea of the Philistines, and from the desert unto the river: for I will deliver the inhabitants of the land into your hand; and thou shalt drive them out before thee.
And the border shall fetch a compass from Azmon unto the river of Egypt, and the goings out of it shall be at the sea.
Deuteronomy 1:7 KJVTurn you, and take your journey , and go to the mount of the Amorites, and unto all the places nigh thereunto, in the plain, in the hills, and in the vale, and in the south, and by the sea side, to the land of the Canaanites, and unto Lebanon, unto the great river, the river Euphrates.
Deuteronomy 11:24 KJVEvery place whereon the soles of your feet shall tread shall be yours: from the wilderness and Lebanon, from the river, the river Euphrates, even unto the uttermost sea shall your coast be.
Joshua 1:4 KJVFrom the wilderness and this Lebanon even unto the great river, the river Euphrates, all the land of the Hittites, and unto the great sea toward the going down of the sun, shall be your coast.

A to J: Kabul, Afghanistan; Euphrates, Iraq; Euphrates, Syria; Kabul, Israel; Akko, Israel; Nile, Egypt; Edom (Petra), Jordan; Edom (Petra); Jordan; Atzmon, Israel; Mediterranean Sea.

In conclusion, the Kabul that Hiram hated is in Israel... and I was wrong about the Kabul that Hiram hated being in Afghanistan.
