After almost three months, I've finally resumed compiling the manuscript for my second book (As I explain in the introduction of the book, it "began as writings which were sent to three family friends...it was in the 72-part series of e-mails and texts.")
Needlessly to say, the exit of one of my writing mentors profoundly affected me—and still affects me. In fact, for example, my hands are chilling due to stress as I type—and keeping them warm is impossible—even though should've become warmer once I paused working on the manuscript until, God willing, the afternoon.
