Update: Omicron, Books, Etc.

Summary and other information:

1) a) While the Covid vaccine may not be a vaccine in the traditional sense, it is certainly inoculation — get the Covid vaccine if you can do so! Even if you get Covid while you’re inoculated, you will be able to fight Covid better with the vaccine than without it. I can speak from personal experience.

b) Full disclosure: I got the Johnson & Johnson vaccine and booster, Although I understand some people may want to get Pfizer or Moderno. Either way, talk to your doctor.

What Happened When “Momma” Had To Go to the ER Last Night—And Worries About COVID

Long story short, the funny response that Reilly had when she did not want to be in “Mom-Mom”’s room for the night was as follows:

“Auntie Michelle” had to explain that “Momma” was not home and that Reilly could therefore not stay in her and “Momma”’s room (since “Momma”’s room has definitely become Reilly’s room as well)! Reilly refused to believe that and tried to bite “Auntie Michelle” twice when she went to pick her up off of the bed.

In other words, she really wanted to stay on that bed and wait for “Momma” to come into the room & say “Let’s go night-nights”—she is definitely a stubborn one!

Incidentally—even though “Momma” was in the ER for mental-health reasons—thinking about Reilly was part of what got “Momma” through her stay in the ER especially after she tested positive for COVID (albe a mild case of Omicron, thanks partly to her being fully vaccinated), and it’s part of what’s getting “Momma” through fighting COVID (and she hopes that she does not inadvertently give it to Reilly—as pets can get and have gotten it from their human family members, albe rarely. Nonetheless, with COVID vaccines being unavailable to pets, “Momma” worries—especially since Reilly is an about-14-pounds Maltipoo).
