Commentary: originally supposed to be a Reddit post, and even now more solidified of an unpopular opinion in light of this week’s hearings

 The silent majority is split between Trump and Biden 49%-49% at best—and I’m scared for the 2% of us whom are voting for neither. Now, some people might say that I’m just buying too much into the Facebook or Twitter hype. But many people act as they do online both how they act offline and how they would act offline if they get could away with doing so. I am afraid that I and many others will be targets of violence by either Trump and Trumpites or Joe “I am the Democratic Party” Biden and Bidenite extremists—and I myself, for example, received Anti-Semitic threats from a Trump supporter during the last election cycle and received an Anti-Semitic threat from “a physically fit German American [whom could] think of a place for [me]” when I expressed that I find that the Democratic Party has no place for me (a Jewish woman with disabilities).

Too many people want to make Trump and Biden their gods; and given personal experience, I dread for those of us whom are definitely in the minority.

Commentary: Admittedly-Bitterly Mixed

 The thing is that I’m mixed. Unfortunately, AncestryDNA —as with ftDNA—does not detect my Jewishness for me. However, both detect it for some of my matches, thank God. Because I’m mixed, I essentially got shafted over – and yes, I’m a little bitter about being mixed in that regard. I’m also a little bitter about the fact that my dad seems to have fallen into the 25% whom have no Jewish atDNA. GEDmatch however, thankfully detects Jewish/Middle Eastern/West Asian/etc DNA for me depending on the test. I have records that prove that at a circumstantial level, we cannot deny that we’re Jewish. However, even some of my family members like to conflate Jewish ethnicity and traditionally-Jewish practice—i.e., the whole “You have to be religiously Jewish to be ethnically Jewish” lie—despite that, e.g., A priest in Poland literally made up a lie on one of my ancestors’ baptism records essentially to save her life. He claimed that “the neglect of the parents” prevented her from getting baptized until she was four. She and they were Crypto Jews in Polish Russia—and many family who stayed in Polish Russia stopped talking to us once my great-great-grandparents returned to Crypto Judaism after the Farber-Kogan incident.

Whenever people even with my own family question our Jewishness, it makes me sick and it feels like a slap in the face to the memories of our ancestors. So, I get the pain of mixed and other Jews whom seem to have no Jewish DNA. As I’ve mentioned before, my case is that my family on my dad’s side and some on my mom’s side were Crypto Jews. My paternal granddad was the first one whose Jewishness I was able to confirm, and he was not happy that I found out—and he denied it until his final phone call between him and me. “If we had any Jewish blood, I don’t know about it” is the most of any kind of admission that I could get from my grandfather–and he did not admit to things easily, as that begrudging admission still demonstrates even almost seven years after his death. 

It’s hard to, on one hand, have family whom does not want to identify with our heritage for whatever reason and, on the other hand, not be able to get all the evidence just because of the circumstances. If I could only wave a magic wand and have all the evidence in front of me, but many people even then would not believe me.

Whatever you think of the Trumps, pray for them—maybe even that God uses Covid re the Trumps similarly to how He used the plagues to turn some Egyptians to Himself  and how He punished Nebuchadnezzar to turn him to Himself. As tempting as stooping to Trump’s level might be, we shouldn’t do so—even if we would seem to have every reason to do so; and I would certainly seem to do so: I am a mixed-blooded Jewish Christian woman with disabilities and a #NeverTrump Republican. 

Nonetheless, I have to pray for my persecutors; and Trump certainly persecutes Jews (regardless of our religious beliefs) as well as Christians (especially Jewish ones) and he also hates women and people with disabilities. I could easily stoop to his level and say, e.g., “Karma!” or “Well; well, look at that.” Since I of many people who could easily be no better than Trump have to pray for my enemies, I might as well—notwithstanding any backlash that I get because I decided to—remind others to pray for the Trumps. 

Point being, take from someone whom could easily (so to speak) return an eye for an eye that praying for the blind Trumps to see might be the best way to go.

Commentary: Bill DeBlasio does not want to light the lights on 9/11

This, to me, goes to prove Bill DeBlasio’s Anti Semitism. If you read page 251 of the 9/11 Commission Report, you will read that Osama bin Laden (י״ש) intended to attack “Jews, and not necessarily the United States.” This also goes to prove Mayor DeBlasio‘s disrespect for almost 3,000 innocent lives—especially the Jewish lives, including those of the Falkenberg Family—lost that day as well as the lives that have been lost since due to 9/11– some of whom have died due to COVID-19 because the effects from 9/11 set them up they have underlying conditions.

Given Trump’s malicious and Anti-Semitic history, Trump’s latest comment is a hardly-veiled way of claiming that the Flu of 1918 (which began in February 1918) contributed to Germany’s losses in World War One and thus...long story short, we’re Trump’s scapegoats once again. Since the Anti Semites blame us for the Austrohungarian and Germany loss of WWI (instead of Germany’s attack on the “Lusitania”, after which Austrohungary and Germany had no more justification for WWI), they blame us for WWII in the first place—notwithstanding that they committed ethnocide against our people (including many Jewish WWI personnel whom were more than willing to support Austrohungary and Germany in sending the message that what Gavrilo Princip did was unacceptable).

Unfortunately, when you’ve run into enough Anti Semitism—including received Anti-Semitic threats—which I have—you can quickly realize what Anti Semites are trying to do.
