The Belated Shabbat Purim Card
PS Reilly is going to be four years old on the Hebrew calendar either tomorrow or Monday at sunset! "Momma's" verklempt—and still an alteh moid waiting for an answer from a certain person¹ for her and Reilly's sakes (¡Pobrecita Reisilacita! And yes, "Reisilacita" is one of "Momma's" nicknames for Reilly!).

Getting Reilly's Purim Costume Made Last Night, And High Wind Gusts That "Momma" Understands Scared Reilly For Good Reason
Getting the costume made for the card was hard last night. Trying to sew the patch for the costume on it and failing in her efforts, accidentally dropping the needle by accident and getting berated by "Mom-Mom" for it when she couldn't find it and "Mom-Mom" ended up finding it herself, not exactly getting "Auntie Michelle"s help to sew on the patch, having to cut fabric to readjust its size and fit Reilly for it (although at least Camille's smug look was funny to "Auntie Nicole" albe not exactly nice to her cousin), and having to adjust one of the straps for Reilly before going "night nights" was not fun fo "Momma". Having Reilly called "poor baby" and otherwise getting nonsupport from "Auntie Michelle" throughout pre-"night nights" time after having already gotten nonsupport from "Mom-Mom" was also not fun.
As for the high wind gusts, Reilly was understandably scared. So "Momma" stayed with her throughout the night instead of getting up to "go potty", despite that she really had to go—and she had to keep explaining that she wasn't going anywhere as she lifted up the "blankies" for Reilly to be able to get them on her, reached "Teddy" for Reilly when he had fallen off of the bed (and she does love snuggling with her teddy bear!), and moved to get comfortable on the bed
As for this morning, both Reilly's and Camille's tails are going to the left as they are presently watch and hear the wind gusts blowing everything that they can blow ☹. Reilly and Camille followed "Momma"/"Auntie Nicole" to the kitchen when she went to get coffee and came over to snuggle with her when she came back into the family room. Meanwhile, "Momma" was to use some of the spare fabric to prepare to make a second tallit for Reilly and fit Reilly for it as she laid next to her and at least didn't growl and whimper at this time notwithstanding some noncooperation.

#WednesdayWisdom: Making A Purim Card With Reilly This Year, As "Momma" Should Have Done Last Year!
Since Purim isn't until Friday and Shabbat is a Shabbat Purim this year, "Momma" at least has time to make the card. She also was able to have costume materials for Reilly procured this year and will actually be able to try to make the costume (which is simple one and one that she can make this year). As for "Momma", she has a puppy mask that she actually was able to cut out of an Amazon box, and she'll wear that even if she won't appear in the card with Reilly.

Reilly Isn't Taking Camille's Futzing Around, Even (Or Perhaps Especially) On a Weekend
- When Camille pawed Reilly in the head yesterday, Reilly growled at her.
- As for today, according to "Mimi"/"Auntie Michelle, "Camille tried to engage in a dominance show/play with Reilly, and Reilly was not having it and promptly—dare I say—clomped her nose and mouth as if to say, 'Excuse me—Who's alpha?!' and left it at that. Camille, to her credit, backed off and acknowledged Reilly as alpha. They both went inside after that like nothing happened."
In other words, Camille tested Reilly's boundaries and learned that messing with Reilly in the mornings and after walks—perhaps especially on weekends—are not good ideas.
PS L'Chodesh Adar Tov—and if there's no Second Adar this year, Reilly's going to be four on March 12 or 13 this year on the Hebrew calendar!

Year Of the Puppy ("Dog") Card From Reilly
PS Reilly definitely earned peanut butter for letting "Momma" take pictures of her for this card. |

I'm Not Exactly Happy To Have To Make The Following Request, As...
I don't want to come off as desperate. Nonetheless, the request is this: please look into at least buying one of my books, as that would be a real belated Hanukkah, current Christmas, and/or early birthday gift for me. I did the following for a reason, after all:
By the way, I'm giving away another copy of one of my books and may begin working on another book soon. As I said, I'm serious about wanting to become a full-time author partly to get off of SSI benefits—and as I've said, not to ultimately end up in a menial job because all that I'm viewed as is my disabilities, thank you very much—and thank you for considering my request.
PS Happy Belated Hanukkah, Merry Chistmas, and Happy New Year.
- Take the opportunity to publish at least one with Hadassa WordPress when Elena Djima unexpectedly reached out to me to offer that pleasantly-surprisingly opportunity, since I'd been a "Times Of Israel" blogger.
- Published books via Kindle Direct Publishing
- Used part of my SSI benefits to set up giveaways and Amazon ads for my books
- Begin working on new books on which I'm still working.

Anecdote One: "Cam Always Look Guilty" According To Mom-Mom, Although...
She and Reilly were definitely "plotting" something on Wednesday night:
"Mom-Mom" saw Camille in the family room and observed, "Camille, you're looking might guilty."
Then "Auntie Michelle"/"Mimi" noted that Reilly and Camille were together. According to her, they were either cleaning each other or conspiring to get into puppy mischief. They could've also beem playing, though, she thought. Nonetheless, she had to ask them, "What are you plotting?"
Only Camille and Reilly to this day know what they were plotting, and only they will know if they can even remember—today is Monday, after all (not to mention Reilly's 3¾-year birthday in terms of Gregorian years! Happy month birthday for December and Merry Christmas, Reilly! Merry Christmas to you, too, Cam!)!

Preview Of the Next Post: A Few Anecdotes About Reilly and Camille
Two of the anecdotes can be summed up as follows:
- On Wednesday, "Auntie Michelle"/"Mimi" noted that Reilly and Camille were together and apparently plotting something ("What are you plotting?") after "Mom-Mom" saw Camille in the family room and observed, "Camille, you're looking might guilty."
- Reilly actually cooperated with getting her ear medicine during the most-recent time for her to get the ear medicine.

Stubborn Camille Still Does Not Want To Play A Variation Of "Find The Treat [Or Toy] Under The Blankie"
Having been able to get some Christmas and Hanukkah gifts for Reilly and Camille, "Momma"/"Auntie Nicole" was able to get a collapsible bowl which she forget is a bowl. She thought that it was a Frisbee, then she checked because she thought that she remembered that it might actually be a bowl. So came a variation of "Find The Treat [Or Toy] Under the Blankie" into her head when she tried to figure out what to do with it, since using it as a Frisbee would not be feasible.
Stubborn Camille still refuses to try to lift up the bowl with her paw or nose to get the treat or toy. Basically, she'll try for a few minutes then want "Auntie Nicole" to lift the bowl for her. She'll even get aggressive with Reilly despite that she knows that "Auntie Nicole" is Reilly's "Momma" and does want her dogter to be hurt. Even this morning, she gave Reilly an intimidating stare and puffed up her tail as well as put her tail to the right—she was quite happy to intimidate Reilly, notwithstanding "Auntie Nicole"/"Momma"'s warnings to be nice to Reilly—and notwithstanding that Reilly still has an ear infection and isn't feeling as well as she could, by the way.

Update On Reilly
As one may have been able to tell by some pictures alone, Reilly had a rough day on Friday with an ear infection and a Lyme's Disease vaccine booster. Today, per "Auntie Michelle", she was shaking because her leg was hurting due to the vaccine (and there can still be slight pain at the site with any vaccine after 24-48 hours; and her White Shaker Syndrome has been noted by the vet and is common for her breed, as the Maltipoo is a Maltese-Poodle hybreed¹.
(She also had some other stressors throughout the day.).
As for the ear infection, as "Momma" witnessed, it's healing despite that Reilly is not happy about getting medicine for it. Meanwhile, Camille had to be convinced that she was not going to be getting any medicine—"Auntie Nicole" had to explain that Camille had no reason to try to jump off of her lap and run because she didn't have an ear infection for which she needed medicine!
Nonetheless, Reilly is doing generally well despite the vaccine-site pain and the ear infection (and the other stressors of the day)—and despite that she was a bit sleepy.
¹Contraction of "hybrid" and "breed" (which "Momma" probably didn't coin, and she'd be surprised if she did coin it.)

Puppies That Could Be Magazine "Moodles" (Pun Intended)
Camille could help advertise a chair cover here,
'
If Reilly were feeling better (Poor Reilly has another ear infection. :-( ), she could help advertise either a pet bed, toy, or blanket.
Curious and sleepy Cam.
Curious, sleepy, and cameraphobic Reilly (Reilly also had a Lyme's Disease vaccine booster that day.)
No food or treats; just a camera to take pictures of them :-)
