Geraldo Rivera and WABC Radio... While I'd Listen To Geraldo....
The majority of these commentators would go through the roof if they ever find out about Geraldo Rivera's association with Atiim "Tiki" and the soon-to-be Traci Johnson Barber. Here's a sampling of "We're pissed and we don't want Geraldo on", in other words:
(12/30/2011 6:19:08 PM) Flag as inappropriate content Geraldo is very different than many television hots sometimes i adore him....especially when goes in to hard places and gets the scoop....like Willowbrook years ago,. war stories, and hurricanes. But he drives me crazy when he says stupid things like recently attacking Glenn Beck. His liberal leanings sometimes sound ridiculous and out of context. Almost trying to hard to be arbitrary and not thinking through what he is actually saying!!!! |
(12/30/2011 1:24:12 PM) Mr. Rivera says he is half Liberal and half Conservative. Mr. Rivera it doesn't exist, it's like Biden believing in Abortion and telling us he is a Practicing Catholic. It Doesn't Exist, the Church Laws Exist, Not Biden's A La Carte Religion. A La Carte Conservatism Desn't Exist. |

(12/30/2011 11:46:43 AM) WABC has lost me for those hours Geraldo is on.... terrible idea. |
- frank |
(12/30/2011 10:10:04 AM) Jerry ! Jerry! Are you freaking kidding me? Has someone lost their minds, at wabc? I read 12 pages of comments, only 2 favorable to this idiot. This is another vault incident in the making. Just as bad as Ailes bringing him to FOX. Start looking for the replacement now! This isn't going to fly. |
- Geo |
(12/30/2011 1:16:15 AM) Why do they want to destroy the radio station. Geraldo could listen to him self for two hours as a tune up. It is over Geraldo, just go sailing and leave us alone

Jews Do Believe In Jesus, And More Lame Talking Points From Haredim
The original talking points, in Portuguese
ANSWER:
- For centuries, Jews were persecuted for their faith and religious practice. Many have tried to impose their ideas and annihilate Judaism. Neither the cross nor the relentless inquisition or the pogroms were able to manipulate our souls fulfilling their intent.
Many smart Jews knew that not all claimants of Christianity were Christians. In fact, many Jews were Christians. Saint Teresa De Avila was one such Jewish Christian.
- Judaism has always maintained its flame alive.
Many Jews are secular or even Atheists.
- History shows: Jews continue to reject Christianity. Why?
We already went over that history says the opposite.
- Simply because we are Jews, Judaism are born and live and have our own convictions.
Do your own convictions include Talmud Bavli? Don't speak for all Jews, Rivkah.
- But then when Jews are asked about this issue and non-Jews often ask: "Why do not Jews believe in Jesus?" We prepare some arguments in order not to disparage other religions, because we respect everyone and for this reason do not proselytise, but just to clarify the Jewish position
Jews like Rivkah disparage other religions and even other Jews (including Judaism-observant Jews) all the time. Look at Rivkah's haverim b'Beit Shemesh who attacked Na'ama Margolese.

A Messianic New Year... Well, First, When's the Jewish New Year?
There is nothing against celebrating the Gregorian, Julian, and other New Years as long as they aren't celebrated to worship pagan g-ds. Remember that nothing in of itself is unclean (cf. Romans 14). However, the Jewish (including Messianic Jewish) New Year is in Aviv/Nisan, not Tishrei. According to Nehemia Gordon, who (even though not Messianic) studies Tanakh very well:
Today few people remember the biblical name of Yom Teruah and instead it is widely known as "Rosh Hashanah" which literally means “head of the year” and hence also “New Years”. The transformation of Yom Teruah (Day of Shouting) into Rosh Hashanah (New Years) is the result of pagan Babylonian influence upon the Jewish nation...Some of the Babylonian month names found their way into the later books of the Tanakh, but they always appear alongside the Torah month names. For example, Esther 3:7 says:
“In the First Month, which is the month of Nissan, in the twelfth year of King Achashverosh.”
This verse starts off by giving the Torah name for the month (“First Month”) and then translates this month into its pagan equivalent (“which is the month of Nissan”). By the time of Esther all the Jews lived within the boundaries of the Persian Empire and the Persians had adopted the Babylonian calendar for the civil administration of their Empire. At first the Jews used these Babylonian month names alongside the Torah month names but over time the Torah month names fell into disuse.
And:
The Rabbanite Midrash relates that when God said to Moses "This month (HODESH) shall be for you the beginning of months" (Ex 12,2) the Almighty pointed up into the heavens at the crescent New Moon and said "When you see like this, sanctify! [=declare New Moon day]". This Rabbinic fairy-tale highlights an important point, namely that the Bible never comes out and says we should determine the beginning of months based on the New Moon. The reason for this is that the term for "Month" (Hodesh) itself implies that the month begins with the crescent New Moon.
In conclusion, while I celebrate Rosh HaShanah b'Aviv, I call Yom Teru'ah "Rosh HaShanah-Kesef"-- "The Fiscal New Year". And (given that I live in America) celebrate the Gregorian New Year, but I don't worship pagan g-ds. Here's a history of the New Year, by the way:
January 1 Becomes New Year's Day
The early Roman calendar consisted of 10 months and 304 days, with each new year beginning at the vernal equinox; according to tradition, it was created by Romulus, the founder of Rome, in the eighth century B.C. A later king, Numa Pompilius, is credited with adding the months of Januarius and Februarius. Over the centuries, the calendar fell out of sync with the sun, and in 46 B.C. the emperor Julius Caesar decided to solve the problem by consulting with the most prominent astronomers and mathematicians of his time. He introduced the Julian calendar, which closely resembles the more modern Gregorian calendar that most countries around the world use today.
As part of his reform, Caesar instituted January 1 as the first day of the year, partly to honor the month’s namesake: Janus, the Roman god of beginnings, whose two faces allowed him to look back into the past and forward into the future. Romans celebrated by offering sacrifices to Janus, exchanging gifts with one another, decorating their homes with laurel branches and attending raucous parties. In medieval Europe, Christian leaders temporarily replaced January 1 as the first of the year with days carrying more religious significance, such as December 25 (the anniversary of Jesus’ birth) and March 25 (the Feast of the Annunciation); Pope Gregory XIII reestablished January 1 as New Year’s Day in 1582.

I Need To Find the Man For Me Before I Go Insane....
To put the situation generously, I have an immature sister and a mom who can't accept her part in everything-- after all, she's the one who would send us to visit an abusive Dad by court order, instead of defying the court order for the moral good. Now that she's dealing with quite a bit of the fallout of at least 10 years (1996-2006; and it's been only five years, a month, and a few weeks since we stopped seeing Dad), she continues to say, "I would've been in contempt of court." You can't accept accountability; can you, Mom?
As for my sister, the only reason that I'm not blogging about her is because she threatened to tell Mom if I did (Real mature!). As I said, I need to find the man for me before I go insane to:
As for my sister, the only reason that I'm not blogging about her is because she threatened to tell Mom if I did (Real mature!). As I said, I need to find the man for me before I go insane to:
- Get away from Mom and my sister.
- Have someone provide for me.
- Have independence within the context of how much I can be independent, and independent within the context of a stable marriage and household.
- Not have to commit suicide.
- Not have to deal with any part of Mom's part of her own fallout of her lifestyle choices. She, not my sister and I, made the choices that got her to having an abusive husband-turned-ex husband and being a divorced-single mom to my sister and me.
The list goes on. Pray that G-d sends the man for me soon.

Sometimes I Wonder If I'm Good Enough...
As I said yesterday, my mom jokes that I ought to become Catholic. She jokes this partly because I joke and am actually sometimes sure that I'm going to Hell for (as the old confessional goes) "what I have done, and what I have left undone; I have not truly loved [G-d] with my whole heart." I can see in the way that the miracles that I wanted for Christmas came out. The ones that I even partially got are highlighted in yellow. The final score? A whopping "You're not good enough" 30%.
And no matter how I try, I still can't get over some certain vicious people at a certain church, one of whom did not do his or her job and does not meet the qualifications of his or her office-- and G-d hasn't had that the page be restored yet, even though those people unfairly and unjustly reported it.

- To find the one for me-- self explanatory
- To have dreams and visions that I need-- even the loner is content with dreams and visions; and if he or she uses them right, won't be lonely in the end. Yosef ben-Ya'akov wasn't.
- To have the Rapture come-- self explanatory if you think about it
- The fourth would be for more interaction and popularity at least on Facebook, YouTube, and Twitter-- self explanatory (I got the tiniest bit, but not much at all; and I even got some unfollows on Twitter.).
- To find more relatives and family information-- you can't be lonely knowing that you're part of a family and having at least some relatives who care and, for once, believe you about at least certain things.
- To have a pet-- self explanatory
- To have some political cartoons published-- you can't be too lonely with some fame.
- To get my novels finished and published-- you can't be too lonely with some fame.
- To firmly confirm the establishment of my Jewish lineage and find more family info, and have the unsaved in my dad's and mom's families saved while the saved ones grow in faith-- you can't be lonely knowing that you're part of a mishpacha and having at least some relatives who care and, for once, believe you about at least certain things; especially if your relatives are going to Heaven with you. (The confirmation isn't firm, though; and my cousin Marek hasn't recontacted me since Christmas.).
- To get through college successfully and to make aliyah if I can-- you can't be too lonely with some potential and success, and being where 'amikha are.

Unless By Some Miracle, the Old Page Isn't Coming Back...
Yesterday's post explains more. Let's just say that (unless I become aware that the page was actually buggy and not reported) some very-vicious and -unjust people reported the page because they couldn't take accountability and responsibility. The old page may come back someday; and if that day comes, I'll link the old and new pages. Up to 44 people liked the old page at last count; only four like the new page. And valuable pictures and copies thereof, posts, etc. are gone; and some are not available for the new page.
As I said; my only vindication is that G-d will vindicate me and rebuke the vicious and unjust people, and that this page is a clean slate. However, if you want or still want to, kindly bug Facebook to bring back the old page (http://www.facebook.com/nicoleczarneckiakanickidewbear).

I'm Pretty Confident That the Old Page Isn't Being Just Buggy...
I know by now that the page, if not just being buggy, was reported unfairly and unjustly by certain people who couldn't handle being called to account to do their jobs, and reported the accounting as bullying. If you want more details, read this post. As I asked before:
If you could help get "Nicole Czarnecki (aka, "Nickidewbear")" at http://www.facebook.com/nicoleczarneckiakanickidewbear restored, I'd appreciate it.
