I got him at the UMBC Bookstore for the sake of University Spirit, since it is Homecoming Season (I used Campus Cash.) and so that I could have something by which to remember UMBC--and after all the trouble that I put the cashiers through to make sure that I wouldn't get one made in Indonesia as the others are (since he was made in China--the lesser of two evils). His Spanish nickname is "Oside" (for "Osito de la Espiritu Universitario"), his Hebrew nickname "Dubru" ("Dubi-Ru'ach-Ha'Universita").
Nicole Czarnecki (Nickidewbear from YouTube) blogs here, especially since AOL RED Blogs shut down a while back.

First Part Of My Rough Draft Of My Final Latin American History Paper
Santo
Domingo de Guzmán as Ciudad Trujillo and Its
Legacy Thereas
To state the
least, Rafael Leonidas Trujillo Molina inevitably and indelibly changed Santo
Domingo de Guzmán and the rest of the Dominican Republic . From the
Trujillista coup in 1931 to Trujillo’s justifiable murder on May 30, 1961; the
Dominican Republic and Santo Domingo—then known as Ciudad Trujillo—received
wounds from which will they will never heal, and the scars of those wounds
which will never fade—at least not in this lifetime. At least according to
Mario Vargas Llosa (among others[1]),
“Generalissimo” Rafael Leonidas Trujillo Molina was a brutal, narcissistic,
pedophiliac, and Self-Hating-Black[2]
man who was perhaps-severely OCD or vain in regards to appearance, not good at
being a dad, unfortunately skilled in abusing his training that was acquired
with the U.S. Marines, and fiercely patriarchal.
Beginning by
examining Trujillo ’s
ethnic self hatred and racism, one may well quote Vargas Llosa’s
obviously-well-researched La Fiesta del Chivo (The Feast of the Goat)[3].
According to Vargas Llosa’s historical fiction novel, Trujillo unequivocally had exchanges such as
this:
Hieratic
and theatrical, the Generalissimo raised his hands and showed them to his
guests:
“For
the sake of this country, I have stained these with blood… [t]o keep the blacks
from colonizing us again. There were tens of thousands of them, and they were
everywhere. If I hadn’t, the Dominican
Republic would not exist today. The entire
island would be Haiti ,
as it was in 1840. The handful of white survivors would be serving the blacks.
That was my most difficult decision in thirty years of government, Simon.”[4]
His
Black mother, Julia Molina de Trujillo, did not know that her son despised his
maternal heritage to that extent, if she knew at all. She also probably had no
idea that her son became just like his dad, and his sons became like their dad
in turn:
Did
she recognize him? Doña Altagracia Julia Molina was ninety-six years old and
her mind must be like soapy water in which dissolved…She had always been a very
good woman, this illegitimate daughter of Haitian immigrants to San Cristóbal,
whose features he and his siblings had inherited, something that never failed
to mortify him despite his great love for her. Sometimes, however,…he would
think, mockingly: [Dominicans are] licking the ground for a descendant of
slaves.” How was the Sublime Matriarch to blame for the black blood that ran in
her veins? Doña Julia had lived only for her husband, Don José Trujillo Valdez,
an easygoing drinker and womanizer…Congenitally frugal, Doña Julia would have
continued to live in the modest little house…where the Generalissimo had been
born and spent his childhood, or in one of the huts where her Haitian ancestors
had died of hunger.[5]
As
stated, Rafael Trujillo became like Don José instead of Doña Julia, and his
sons in turn became like him. As Don José was not a good dad, he was not a good
dad; and his sons reflected that:
[“]The
great mistake of my life has been…my children. Have you ever seen disasters
like them? Their only horizon is booze, pesos, and fucking. Is there one of
them capable of continuing my work? Isn’t it a shame that…Ramfis and Radhamés
are playing in Paris
instead of standing at my side?”[6]
“Let’s
go up, beautiful,” he said, his voice somewhat more thickened. “We’ll be more
comfortable…I don’t enjoy being brutal to girls. I like them to enjoy it, too…”
“He
was seventy and I was fourteen,” Urania specifies for the fifth or tenth time.
“We were a mismatched couple…The grandfather and the granddaughter on their way
to the bridal chamber.”[7]
But
since the time of Urania’s recounting was in1999-2000—2000 being when Vargas
published La Fiesta del Chivo—; Urania must have been younger than
14—since she claims to be 49[8]—and
was perhaps, at most, 11 years old. Urania was not the only victim of Trujillo ’s pedophilia.
Among other victims was 17-year-old Yolanda Esterel.[9]
Yolanda must have been treated the same way as Urania was treated by the vain,
appearance-obsessed, and perhaps-severely-OCD Trujillo [10]:
He
looked at her with surprise and hatred, as if she were a malevolent apparition.
Red, fiery, fixed, his eyes froze her. She couldn’t move. Trujillo ’s eyes ran over her,…darted to the
bloodstained spread, and glared at her again. Choking with revulsion, he
ordered:
“Go
on, get washed, see what you’ve done to the bed? Get out of here!”
…
“Get
out, get out,” he said in a strangled voice. “Tell Benita to bring fresh sheets
and a spread and clean up this mess.”
Trujillo had a
U.S. Marine as an accomplice in all his brutal, narcissistic, pedophiliac,
self-hating, vain, and fiercely-patriarchal work and bad parenting—and one
would think that the 2012 Cartagena, Colombia scandal with the U.S. Secret
Service was just as bad until he or she met this accomplice of Trujillo.[11]
That accomplice was Simon Gittleman.
[1] Though
Czarnecki relies mostly on Vargas Llosa’s well-prepared work
[2] Mother
Julia Molina de Trujillo had Haitian blood.

Although to be fair to OCD sufferers (Czarnecki herself included), Czarnecki
does not really want to credit Trujillo
with having OCD (Obsessive Compulsive Disorder) in any way, shape, or form
[11] Unless
the Colombian prostitutes were underage and forced into prostitution, in which
case Cartagena-Gate would be just as bad as Trujillo’s dirty work. After all,
both scandals involved betrayal and treason against the United States by government and
military personnel.

Necesito Refrescar Mi Espanol...
I need to brush up on my Spanish. Being a Jewish Marylander descended from a Spaniard (perhaps a Sefardic Jew, which we'll never know for sure until we find out who "John McCoy" really was besides the Spain-born man who he tried to hide), I need to get back into learning Spanish. Yo estoy en acuerdo con Geraldo Rivera que necesitamos una nacion bilingue en Ingles y Espanol. Despues de todos, los indios estuvieron aqui primero y hablaron espanol desde los 1500s. By the way, I'm using Google Translate to help me refresh what Spanish I cannot remember and learn what Spanish I don't know-- though I could quit being perezosa and use mi diccionario de espanol y ingles.

Hispanic Romney Criticizes Justice Sonia Sotomayor, And...
This Jew (I), meanwhile, herself plenty of Jews to criticize. By the way, as a Hispanic, no me gusta Juez Sonia Sotomayor. Porque? Es muy liberal y una 'mujer Latina y sabia' autoproclamada-- I don't like arrogant people. As for some Jews who I highly criticize:
- Natalie Portman-- has no respect for Jewish values (which I've blogged about)
- Sean Stone
- Sean Penn (though I was close to respecting him after one time in which he seemed to have changed)
- Alex Jones
- Mark Levin
- Adam Gadahn
- David Cameron
- George Soros
- Abraham Foxman
- Shmuely Boteach
- Benjamin Netanyahu
- Avigdor Lieberman
- Tracey Rich
- Barbra Streisand
I could go on, but you get the point.

Why a Romney White House Is Possible in 2012
Among other reasons:
- The "establishment" (Non-Far-Right) GOP will be able to convince Independents and Democrats who voted for Scott Brown over Martha Coakley in Massachusetts that Mitt Romney, besides having been a successful-enough governor of Massachusetts, is a Scott Brown equivalent in many respects.
- Former Governor Romney will be the first Hispanic president-- since George Romney was born in Mexico-- and the first Evangelical Mormon president, which will appeal to those who want novelty in this election cycle.
- 2009-2011 were Democrat legislative and executive years. Wanting change by way of having Republican congressional and legislative years, many will vote out Senate Majority Leader Reid and President Obama as they voted the Republicans out of having the Senate Majority leadership in 2006 and the presidency in 2008.

I Lied When I Said That "It's [only] the Depression again."...
For example, when dogs and cats (like Moki, Mishka, Laika, Skeen, Winston, Cassy, etc.) are more famous than me, that's not only depressing; that's also (or so the situation seems that) G-d seems to be rubbing in my face that dogs and cats are more famous and loved than me. Then there's that (and I've blogged about all this before; but there's still that) sense of loneliness, injustice, etc.. I know that others are going through worse (which is another way of G-d rubbing my pain in my face-- "You know, there are people going through worse than you.")-- but my pain is not mitigated or taken away from.
I know why I'm lonely-- I'm an OCD/Anxiety-, Depression-, Cerebral Palsy-diagnosed, also ADD and IBS-afflicted, Anusi-born Messianic Jew with divorced parents and (with few exceptions) a Hell of a meshuga family and family history on both sides-- and I've already given you the megillah of my dad's family history (with yet more for me to find out and give, I'm guessing-- and the roadblocks in finding out the family history, including my meshuga family being deliberate roadblocks-- is depressing).
I've also given you a little of my mom's family history with the roadblocks in finding more out about it-- and, for example, try being cursed because your great-great-great-granddad was a Confederate veteran; and I've discussed how inquity visits the third and fourth generations continually, even to the thousandth-- the 250th of fourths of-- generations.
I mean, let's face very clearly that Pop-Pop Farrell's daughters and granddaughters, among others, suffered post-partum depression because "‘The LORD is longsuffering and abundant in mercy, forgiving iniquity and transgression; but He by no means clears the guilty, visiting the iniquity of the fathers on the children to the third and fourth generation.’" By the way, if you think that having to know that many in your family suffered terribly under post-partum depression is just another facet of life, you're meshuga-- and you don't understand that one begins to suspect that the post-partum depression was just a manifestation of depression within the family or genepool.

Illegal Aliens and Driver's Licenses
Remember this "bustup" that looked like a Jack and Greg Czarnecki fight (My family will get this reference.)? LAPD Police Chief Charlie Beck and Sheriff Lee Baca want to track illegal immigrants using drivers' licenses. How do this bustup and the LAPD plan connect? Alfredo Ramos could've easily been tracked this way in Virginia Beach (where at least two of my cousins and their sides of the family live, and I wonder how they were affected by the Ramos-caused tragedy).
As a Jewish and Latina descendant of illegal-immigrant Anusim, I might be about the only other Republican who agrees with Chief Beck and Sheriff Baca. In other words, yo acuerdo con Geraldo Rivera en eso sujeto respetando a inmigrantes ilegales.

A Jew Can Celebrate The Non-Catholic Part of Mardi Gras...
Nonetheless, I may have overdone the celebracion de Martes Gordos. My sister had a point: I am now on a sugar crash. To be fair, I didn't take any of the treif esn. However, three glasses of chocolate milk, plus a frozen-yogurt milkshake, plus King's Cake still counts as getting more on a sugar crash; and a sugar crash in of itself may be treif-- I am tired, after all. Meanwhile, the beads are from UMBC's dining hall, and I didn't have to do anything skeavy or lo kashrut to earn them.

This Spaniard Hopefully Knows Something About the "McCoy" Family...
Council Bluffs, Iowa arrived from google.com on "The Nicole Factor: Farrell-DeBoy Canadian, What's Up?".

Madrid arrived from google.es on "The Nicole Factor: Farrell-DeBoy Canadian, What's Up?" by searching for http://log.go.com/log?srvc=ndbvj&goto=http://e3401crfnbydbre5tdk--31htl.hop.clickbank.net.

I check my Feedjit Live Feed, and let me tell you that I hope that this Madridian knows something about Rosalita "Rosa" ("Rose") Ann "McCoy" Reilly. If you don't think that I'm still looking por familia, you are loco. If you don't understand espanol (which I need to brush up on, anyway; since it is a literal mama lashon), let me put it in Yiddish: you don't think that I'm still looking for mishpacha you are meshuga. Meanwhile, I figure that by now, the DeBoys have to be Jewish. There was at least one Jew who married a DeBoy, and our DeBoy mishpacha probably received a number of Yehudim v'Yehudi'ot as well. Por ejemplo (See how I'm mixing up the Spanish and Yiddish, by the way? Me gusta variedad.):
That's not German hair, as far as I can tell. That's curly, Jewish hair. Also (by the way, sadly we have a Braun in our line; and she'd better not be related to Eva Braun; but anyway), I invite you to look at the family tree and see the variety of possibly-Jewish or Jewish-adopted surnames there: por ejemplo, Erbacher, Pelz, Lambrix (Lambrecht, Lambrich), Pirong, Walker (Valker), Volk (Folk), Meijers (Meiyers), and other names.
I mean, folks (people), I look at my Feedjit and Blogger stats, at my family tree, etc.. C'mon; mi madre es judia problamente, y si no en la familia de "McCoy", entonces en por lo menos una de las familias de los DeBoys. Pueblos, no soy estupida. No fui loca de los Fockos, etc.; fui?

Maybe From Now On, I'll Take More Computer Shabbats...
To have the day off from the computer, blogging, etc. was kind of nice since (so to speak) the Facebook, YouTube, Blogger, and other fields were allowed to fallow out and regrow some relevancy and view counts. Besides, I had a cough yesterday; so I napped in between finishing part of my reading for this weekend. I also did watch the Nevada Caucus results; and I turned off the coverage the moment that I couldn't stand Newt Gingrich's divisiveness and arrogance, since he started personally attacking Romney instead of going after Obama's even-deliberately-failed policies.
Meanwhile, I'm voting for the Giants because of Tiki Barber's arrogance toward Joe Coughlin and because of Tom Brady-- no me gusta Tiki Barber o Tomas Brady.

When Math Is the Matter, the Calculator Is My Best Friend...
I'm from the lingual, political, and other mostly-right-brained side of my family (and you have to be at least little creative to be lingual-- since languages, such as verbal conjugations, don't just happen overnight; and political-- since governments don't just happen overnight, and an example of a creative type was the multi-talented Mizrahi Jewish Thomas Jefferson. He was a musician and revisionist Biblotique for goodness' sake-- and you have to be a little creative to come up with a seemingly-plausible alteration of the Bible).
Other relatives, on the other hand (or in the other brain), are left brained-- cousins Shelley and Rob, and granduncles Jim and Tony, for example. They're in the medical, financial, computer, and similar fields. I didn't inherit their passed-down math skills-- and I honestly don't know who passed the math down to them.
I know that their grandparents (and Shelley's and Rob's great-grandparents) Julian and Alexandria were creative types; that's for sure. They did an excellent job of posing as Polish-Lithuanian Roman Catholics, at least on the surface and to the untrained Census and Immigration-Naturalization officials. I mean, for example, inconsistencies and other material on the Census and Immigration-Naturalization records should've stuck out-- e.g., "Czornecki"/"Czarnecki" in 1910, "Chernetski"/"Chernetobe"/"Chernitcki" in 1920, "Czarnecki" in 1930-- come on. And Great-Granddad being three when he came over must've learned perfect English from somewhere besides school and English speakers outside of his home.
So, here I go studying for my math test. Wish me b'tzlacha and buena suerte, and rogen por mi and 'im tefilot. Todam v'/y gracias.
