Re A Matter About Which I've Posted On Facebook And Twitter In the Past Few Days

Since the time is sadly closer, I might as well just say it: my mom's mom has metastasized Lung Cancer that metastasized to her liver and bones, and she was admitted to the hospital a week ago tomorrow. They thought that Pneumonia and Shingles were the cause of her severe pain (and, oh man, was she in pain when I talked to her the night before!). They ran tests on Friday only to find that a spot on her liver and (as she told me) something "on the lungs", and then (according to one of my uncles or aunts) the "really bad" tests results showed that she has cancer that they somehow caught way too late.

She is under hospice care and has only days to weeks to live; and my own hope, truth be told, is that she dies on New Year's Eve if she has to go so soon, since that is my late maternal grandfather's (her first husband's) birthday (She even requested to be buried with "something of his" that he had passed down to their children when he passed away in 1974; and that was the first time that she was widowed, by the way 😢. She remarried in 1979 and was widowed again in 2004. She's also had other losses and sufferings throughout her 91 years, and now she has to endure terminal Lung Cancer 😢.)

Please pray that she goes in her sleep (since that what's she wanted) and/or surrounded by loved ones when she goes. She is sleeping more and more lately as well as eating and drinking less due to severe pain. She has been ready to go for a long time, even before her Lung Cancer diagnosis.
PS To loved ones (family and friends): please call and/or visit her if you can; and please pray for her. Also, as she once told my sister, "Never start smoking" (although she knows that Michelle would never smoke), and she quit cold turkey at 77 years and after 55 years of smoking. She even mentioned something about it to Mom today.

PPS May Yehovah comfort us among the mourners of Tzion v'Yerushalayim, and may her memory be for a blessing when & after she passes. For those whom want her Hebrew name, meanwhile, since she is of Jewish ancestry (although she does has gentile ancestry as well): Miriam Eliora bat Yochanahn Chaim* v'Miriam Margolit**. ***

*(ben Gdaliya ben Binyamin Yochanahn v'Natan'elah)
**(bat Yochanahn Toma v'Eliora)

*** Her dad (his everyday name having been John Carroll Pundt, z"l) was a son of George August Pundt (z"l) and Jewish especially on his paternal grandma's side (And her Hebrew name would've likely been Natan'elah bat Shlomo v'Amalia was she given one. Her everyday name was Dorothea "Dora" Lehr Pundt the daughter of Frederich and Amalia Gunther Lehr.). As for her maternal heritage, I'm pretty sure that she had Crypto-Jewish heritage on at least her mom's paternal grandfather's side, which is another discussion for another time.

Also, I've done family and other research; so:

  • Even though she is religiously Catholic (as were her parents), she in my opinion (especially since she believes in a Jewish man as the Messiah) should have the honor of her Hebrew name (notwithstanding that she knew most about her Irish and German heritage, and nothing about her Jewish heritage until I found out about it and brought it up. Her dad, from what I understand, did know about it and never told her about it, which is a long discussion.).
  • I could not find a suitable Hebrew equivalent for "August" or for her maternal grandmother's middle name, "Agnes". Her father's Hebrew would've likely been "Binyamin Yochanahn" for "William John", and his mother was an Elizabeth Müller Pundt the daughter of a Johann Conrad Müller and Margarete Siedenburg Pundt, both of Jewish ancestry. Again, long discussion.

The #PowerofDad

I'll give my dad this: without the fact that his dad was awfully dark for being White, I wouldn't've even suspected that I'm Jewish.

By the way, yes, Pop-Pop was very dark for being "Polish" and "Lithuanian":

1)
July 22, 1989

2)
The 100th birthday of his mother, Mary Trudnak Czarnecki, z"l. I am not sure if her late son ever saw her again. At least he ate kosher enough at the Glen Burnie Carnival—and, yes, the irony is that he was a self loather who was responsible for how his mother died.

Why I Disagree With The Following Proverb

"The kind of ancestors you have is not as important as the ones your children have." Amish Proverb, as seen on Twitter.

My take: the kind of ancestors whom you have is as important as the ones that your descendants have; because if you don't understand your ancestors to some extent, you're not going to learn from and be better than them--after all, "You're only as good as your parents" (as my friend Jim states) and "Those who do not learn from history are destined to repeat it."

I've Blogged About This Before, But...

While (meanwhile) this (with the included YouTube video) is my first blog entry in which I haven't looked like a mess in a while, I--speaking of messes--would like to say that I take comfort in the messes and losses, and other pains with which people have affected me--and with which they tried to effect the worst in me and against me. But as Eleanor Roosevelt recognized (though I honestly don't want to credit an Anti Semite like her for anything), nobody can make anybody feel inferior without his or her consent.

So--for example, and each of you know who you are--,your attempt at manipulating me by cutting off our friendship didn't work. Your telling me to "shut up and grow up" affected me only block you and never want to talk to you again--at least for the meantime. Your trying to spy on me and threatening of others affected me only to speak out more against you.

Unlike you--even if I am looking in only from the outside, in which case I was in only one of the cases--, I did my homework and--by doing my homework--obtained evidence by which I was able to back up what I said. For you--the one in the first case--, you showed me what kind of person you really are and how you would rather put what you want to believe and family over what is the truth and over G-d. As the Messiah who (as far as I can tell) you refuse to believe, anyway, said, "“No one, having put his hand to the plow, and looking back, is fit for the kingdom of God.”" You'd rather have this world than "a hundredfold now in this time—houses and brothers and sisters and mothers and children and lands, with persecutions—and in the age to come, eternal life." What else can I say that I don't need your friendship or want it if you're going to be like that, and that your reward is with you--since you're of the world, and you've chosen the world as your reward?

As for the two of you with whom I was on the inside, I said about one of you that you don't "know how corrupt the Czarneckis et. al. are, and [you don't know] who are of the righteous remnant among them." As for the other, "If you think that you can hurt me or anybody else but yourselves in the end (except for those whom, perhaps, "you make...twice as much...son[s] of hell as yourselves"), you're wrong."

I take comfort in the messes and losses with which you (among others) have tried to effect the worst in and against me because I know that out of them:

"Who has believed our report? And to whom has the arm of the Lord been revealed?" You obviously haven't; so you obviously won't believe One Who is Greater than me and every one of you, and you--unless retribution for me does come and you are affected to change your ways because of the retribution against you--won't believe (or rather, want to believe) when I am speaking the truth about anything else, let alone what I've already spoken about.

That retribution, I believe, may come in the form of when someone that I warned you about betrays a loved one of yours or even you, when you find out something that I even hinted at and you'll wish you knew then what you now know, or when you find out that I was right about something else. Then, as I said, I may be gone and you might even be gone, and then you'll really have missed your chance to thank me and change your ways.

Millersville, If You Are Who I Think That You Are...

  1. I'm not afraid of you. What can you do to me that G-d hasn't planned?
  2. You're trying to spy on me. It's not working. Too bad for you; I can check my Blogger stats.
  3. You think that I'm finished exposing our family secrets? Far from it. In fact, I have (so to speak) more cards in my hand and deck, and burning holes in my pocket--I already exposed the murderous Mary Rusnak Gaydos and Jack Czarnecki.
  4. You're Catholic--you should know what the Bible says. "Why do you boast in evil, O mighty man? The goodness of God endures continually." (From Psalm 52:1) Furthermore, "A little that a righteous man has [i]s better than the riches of manwicked." (Psalm 37:16) Even further, "“Here is the man who did not make God his strength, But trusted in the abundance of his riches, And strengthened himself in his wickedness.”" (Psalm 52:7)
  5. You think that Great-Granddad Czarnecki and his brothers Joe and John faced terrible ends? Wait for yours to come--and G-d, not any of us who you have tried to wreck, will destroy you. "His own iniquities entrap the wicked man, And he is caught in the cords of his sin." (Proverbs 5:22) If I haven't warned you enough, "there will be no prospect for the evil man; The lamp of the wicked will be put out." (Proverbs 24:20
  6. Furthermore, I "do not fear those who kill the body but cannot kill the soul[, b]ut rather fear Him who is able to destroy both soul and body in hell." (See Matthew 10:28)
  7. In fact, I'm warning you because I don't want the evil that you have done to come back and bite you--for I believe to "[r]est in the LORD, and wait patiently for Him; [d]o not fret because of him who prospers in his way, [b]ecause of the man who brings wicked schemes to pass." (Psalm 37:7) That doesn't mean, however, that I'll stand by and shut up. "For there is nothing covered that will not be revealed, nor hidden that will not be known. Therefore whatever you have spoken in the dark will be heard in the light, and what you have spoken in the ear in inner rooms will be proclaimed on the housetops."
If you think that you can hurt me or anybody else but yourselves in the end (except for those whom, perhaps, "you make...twice as much...son[s] of hell as yourselves"), you're wrong. By the way, here's proof that I know that you viewed my blog:

Is Matrilineal Jewishness Valid? The Answer Is...

Yes, but not because of the P'rushim is Matrilineal Jewishness valid. I should've at least saved my posts from one group that I was in with Asher Romero ben Israel and Adam Klein (who is not Nehemia Gordon's friend, as he stated, and clearly not my friend-- on his own volition), because I'm so damned lazy and don't really want to rewrite what I already wrote (Maybe I'm more depressed lately as well, thus more lazy. Anyway...).

First, let's begin with B'resheet 17:19-21:

19 Then God said: “No, Sarah your wife shall bear you a son, and you shall call his name Isaac; I will establish My covenant with him for an everlasting covenant, and with his descendants after him.20 And as for Ishmael, I have heard you. Behold, I have blessed him, and will make him fruitful, and will multiply him exceedingly. He shall beget twelve princes, and I will make him a great nation.21 But My covenant I will establish with Isaac, whom Sarah shall bear to you at this set time next year.”

We see that Yitzhak had to have Sarah-- not anyone else-- as his mother and Avraham-- not anyone else-- as his dad (which is why, incidentally, I believe that some Kara'im argue that both parents must be Jewish in order for the child to be Jewish). We also see that Yitzhak was the first Yehudi:

22 For it is written that Abraham had two sons: the one by a bondwoman, the other by a freewoman. 23 But he who was of the bondwoman was born according to the flesh, and he of the freewoman through promise24 which things are symbolic. For these are the[d] two covenants: the one from Mount Sinai which gives birth to bondage, which is Hagar— 25 for this Hagar is Mount Sinai in Arabia, and corresponds to Jerusalem which now is, and is in bondage with her children— 26 but the Jerusalem above is free, which is the mother of us all. 27 For it is written:
“Rejoice, O barren,
You who do not bear!
Break forth and shout,
You who are not in labor!
For the desolate has many more children
Than she who has a husband.”[e].

Yitzhak was "born of the promise". We see that in this way, Yitzhak was the first Jew and that Patrilineal Jewishness is as valid as Matrilineal Jewishness. But let's get back to Matrilineal Jewishness. We've seen so far that the contribution of the mother cannot be left out (thus part of why I stated that  I believe that some Kara'im argue that both parents must be Jewish in order for the child to be Jewish). The contribution certainly was not left out in the cases of the young Dani of Mitzrayimi parentage, Hiram the king of Phoenicia and Huram his dad(? See Wikipedia for the dispute on this.), and Timothy HaYavani:

One more quick example; which is not Scriptural, nonetheless valid: Geraldo Rivera's daughter Sol. Are we to say that she is not Jewish because her dad's paternal granddad was a Spaniard and his paternal grandmother a Taino Native American? Is Sol then only a Spaniard of Taino and Jewish descent? To rule out Lillian Friedman Rivera's contribution and Erica Levy Rivera's contribution (which, by the way, makes Sol a Matrilineal Levit) would be entirely unfair and unpractical, especially since Sol is 3/4 Jewish.

Darn Right That I'm Estranged From Much Of My Dad's Family...

And I, unlike some of them, make no secret or even falsehood about it. If you want me to lie about my family; you're asking me to be like my dad and his parents (among others), and I'm not going to do that. Unlike them, I'm going to be honest about our family history. The funny (strange and ironic) thing, meanwhile, is that they probably don't think that I check my blog stats. They can guess again:
