Commentary: Yes, She Was Around Him. What May Have Happened If She Weren't May Have Been Worse. Ask Salma Hayek, For Example

With Harvey Weinstein finally being held to account for the various rapes and other acts of sexual abuse that he committed, so, too, are his victims being held accountable...for being abuse victims.

For example (and being a survivor of childhood abuse, although thankfully not childhood sexual abuse, I had to reply when one person held Harvey Weinstein's victims accountable for something that they did not do):

Being an abuse victim is not a choice or in any other way something that an abuse victim does. After all, for instance, nobody chooses to be sexually abused or have their kneecaps broken, let alone have their taken altogether for that matter (as if rape isn't its own form of murder):

"“He told me he wanted to kill me,” Hayek told Winfrey. “He said to Julie Taymor [the director of ‘Frida’], ‘I am going to break the kneecaps of that ‘c-word’.”" (Brackets in the original)
"I had brainwashed myself into thinking that it was over and that I had survived; I hid from the responsibility to speak out with the excuse that enough people were already involved in shining a light on my monster. I didn’t consider my voice important, nor did I think it would make a difference...

"I don’t think he hated anything more than the word “no.” The absurdity of his demands went from getting a furious call in the middle of the night asking me to fire my agent for a fight he was having with him about a different movie with a different client to physically dragging me out of the opening gala of the Venice Film Festival, which was in honor of “Frida,” so I could hang out at his private party with him and some women I thought were models but I was told later were high-priced prostitutes.
"The range of his persuasion tactics went from sweet-talking me to that one time when, in an attack of fury, he said the terrifying words, “I will kill you, don’t think I can’t.”

Even Salma Hayek fell for the "Since I was around him, I wasn't really being abused" fallacy in light of all that, however:

"I had to say yes. By now so many years of my life had gone into this film. We were about five weeks into shooting, and I had convinced so many talented people to participate. How could I let their magnificent work go to waste?
"I had asked for so many favors, I felt an immense pressure to deliver and a deep sense of gratitude for all those who did believe in me and followed me into this madness. So I agreed to do the senseless scene."

She recognized this:

"It was soul crushing because, I confess, lost in the fog of a sort of Stockholm syndrome, I wanted him to see me as an artist: not only as a capable actress but also as somebody who could identify a compelling story and had the vision to tell it in an original way."

With the fallacy being, "(S)he wasn't being abused by him (her), or else she wouldn't be around him (her), the actual case is, "(S)he continues to be around him (her) because (s)he's Stockholmed and/or in dread of what (s)he might or will do."

If Rose McGowan's, Meryl Streep's, and Salma Hayek's cases don't convince you of that, look at the cases of Jerry Sandusky's victims (whom were male victims of a male abuser and, even though they are survivors, will never fully recover from what was done to them in this lifetime—and what sexual-abuse victim, especially any rape victim, ever really recovers from the abuse that she or he has to endure?).

If not even the cases of Jerry Sandusky's victims convince you, look at those of Michael Jackson's victims (notwithstanding that the cases of Wade Robson and one other person are apparently questionable). If not even those cases convince you, go back to looking at cases of male-against-female abuse and start with the case of Andrea Constand (By the way, yes, Bill Cosby also abused children, as then-teenager victims of his were obviously teenagers and obviously therefore children—and one of them was Nicolle Rochelle, whom was actually a preteen when she first had to be around him).

Either way, your choice to believe or disbelieve sexual-abuse (and other abuse) victims whom continue to be around their abusers will not change the fact that sexual-abuse (and other abuse) victims continue to be around their abusers because they've been Stockholmed and/or threatened within every inch of their lives by those whom'd they'd otherwise gladly escape.

Final Commentary For 2019: The Recent Attacks On Jews Have Had Nothing To Do With Religious Bigotry...

They instead have had everything to do with ethnic bigotry. With the desecration of matzevot in the Žilna, Slovakia-area town of Rajec to the stabbings that happened in Monsey, New York (all with the ablestically-pulled "He has a mental illness" card to literally add insult to injury—despite that the attacker had bleach on his clothes) among the recent series of Anti-Semitic hate crimes, one can conclude only that those who have both hurt the living and attempted to disturb the rest of those whom have gone on to the 'olam haba are motivated by ethnic bigotry, not religious bigotry, against Jews. As World Jewish Congress Chairman & CEO Ronald S. Lauder stated, those who fire rockets into Israel "don't care what synagogue [their intended victims] attend." In fact, they don't care if they attend any synagogue at all!

One could be as nontraditional a Jew as, for example:

  1.  A San-Francisco-residing Atheist Jew whom is a card-carrying member of Freedom From Religion and also a member of the LGBTQ+ community, despite that his or her parents were and are active members of Daly City's Egyptian Karaite community whom never thought that their son or daughter himself or herself would be anything but a devout Karaite
  2. A Jewish Christian/Messianic Jew/Jesus-believing Jewⁱ of any given background
  3. A Cochini Jew whom's a HindJew (Jewish Hindu) raising his or her kids in an interfaith (or intermovement/interdenominational¹) HindJew-BuJu home with his or her Kaifeinger Jewish spouse whom is a devout BuJu.
  4. A Muslim Lemba Jew whom was able to make aliyah and is living with his or her Muslim Ethiopian Jewish partner in a sort of common-law-marriage arrangement, since he or she can't marry her or him for whatever reason.
  5. A Cochini-Kaifenger Jew whom's in a HindJew and lives with his or her Muslim-BuJu partner, whose one parent was a Muslim Lemba Jew and whose other parent was an Ethiopan JuBu
  6. A Cherokee Jew whose Black father is a pastor in a Baptist church and whose mother practices Native American traditional religion, and whom identifies the most with his or her African-American heritage as well as practices a syncretic form of Baptist Christianity and Native American religion
  7. An asexual Afro-Cherokee-Egyptian Jewish American whom practices a syncretic form of Baptist Christianity, Native American traditional religion, and Karaite Judaism, much to the dismay of each and all of his or her grandparents, each and all of whom also are dismayed that the grandchild in question has chosen to neither marry nor even have children through surrogates or by adoption.
  8. A transgender sibling of the decidedly-single multiethnic-and-multifaith cisgender Jew whom is mentioned above, and whose own religious persuasion is ambiguous.
One could also be as traditional as, for example, the rabbi whom a hateful man attempted to murder on Hanukkah.

The point is, then, that any one of the kinds of Jews listed above and every other kind of Jew could be targeted by Anti Semites—none of whom care about our individual or shared religious beliefs and practices, sexual orientations and gender identities, or intra- and inter-ethnic lineages—or any other individual or shared factors but for our Jewish ethnicity.

Or however you identify yourself if you're a Jew whom believes in Jesus. I myself choose "Jewish Christian" to make unambiguous "ethnically Jewish and religiously Christian" and thus leave nothing to open to discussions, questions, debates, or word games by Anti-Messianic ("Anti-Missionary"/"Counter-Missionary") individuals and groups.

Hawai'i Dropped A Huge Ball Re Their "Mistake", Since...

They could've easily their "mistake" an inadvertent ballistic-missile drill. After all;

  1. Hostile governments—including the Iranian, Russian, and North Korean governments—have made quite clear their intents to try to engage the United States, Israel, and others in nuclear wars.
  2. Especially with Russia, history is repeating itself—don't, for example, the Baby Boomers and even some Gen Xers in the Hawai'ian government remember the under-the-desk drills?
  3. All one needs to do is look at a few Google maps to see why Hawai'i's "mistake" of a ballistic-missile warning could've been an opportunity for a ballistic-missile drill.
In conclusion, then, the Hawai'ian government is either oblivious or complicit regarding the danger that Anti-American governments pose to Hawai'i and the rest of the United States—and not to mention that on the flip side, an island government that is still allied with Russia once tried to go after the United States (Don't the Baby Boomers and still-living members of previous generations remember the Cuban Missile Crisis?).

With All Due Respect To Sean Hannity...

And then later...

Sure, no politicking...give me a break. Also, Trump praised Kim Jong-Un as well as his collaborators such as Putin. Nonetheless, you just can't stop, can you?

Sean, you're only doing the RINOs as well as the Anti-American wings of the Democratic and other parties a favor—and by Trump, as they say, you've been had! Besides, as I and others have asked, what would the Sean Hannity of back then say to the Sean Hannity of now? Change isn't always for the better, after all, and I suspect that the Sean Hannity of back then would not like the Sean Hannity of now—and he'd say that you need a "An American Carol" experience in real life!

"hay hogan what about martin omaly's taxes on us in his last 8 years what did u do forget."

With all due respect:

You have no clue if you think that Governor Hogan can just automatically undo eight years of the Maryland voters' damage—since we as voters (even those of us whom voted for Ehrlich) need to take responsibility for the eight years prior to 2015. Besides, having a General Assembly whom generally pits itself against any Republican administration won't help get the O'Malley Administration tax initiatives repealed.

In Howard County (where, by the way, he had to quickly appoint a new sheriff after the Fitzgerald scandal), a microcosm of that can be seen: automatically undoing the Ulman Administration's and the County Council's Ulman Administration damaging initiatives won't happen overnight, especially since the County Council has four Democrats and one lone Republican—and by the way, in a county in which Jewish voters are expected to be Democrats (this, for example, despite that Ulman ran with one of the initiators of the abysmal Annapolis Conference, that Councilman Fox got elected at all is amazing—and of course, 80% of the County Council is generally pitted against a Republican Administration.

Also, Governor Hogan fought Non-Hodgkin's Lymphoma—get a clue if you think that he had time and/or energy to even begin to try to repeal the O'Malley Administration tax initiatives (and Governor Hogan is not an authoritarian whom'd just override the assembly—if you want an authoritarian whom'd override a legislative body of any kind, look to the Donald Trump for whom Governor Hogan refused to vote). Besides, not even a full two years since Governor Hogan's case of Non-Hodgkin's Lymphoma went into remission have passed.

In conclusion, the only way that you'll reverse eight years of damage by a Maryland-elected O'Malley Administration is to do what Governor Hogan is doing:

  • Respect the will of Maryland's voting population—whose demographics he also needs to consider
  • Call for the General Assembly to participate in bipartisan and interbranch cooperation
  • Realize that the Hogan Adminstration battle is parallel to the much-smaller-scale Kittleman Administration battle—in which the Hogan Administration sometimes has to involve itself
 and
  • Consider that nobody can just bounce back from even in-remission cancer, let alone Stage-Three Non-Hodgkin's Lymphoma—especially when the General Assembly seems to want to deliberately drain any Republican governor of any energy and resources, let alone relatively-recently-in-remission Governor Hogan of day-to-day energy and other resources that he needs to have to affect any reversal of the damage that the O'Malley Administration caused.

⃰ O'Malley and Brown could've easily said, "Not in this city" and "Take it to another city"—by allowing an Annapolis Conference in which the Anti-Semitic "Palestinian" Authority participated, O'Malley and Brown were just as responsible for the Annapolis Conference as anyone else whom was involved with it.

Unless God Delivers Us From Trump (And Worse Than Trump)...

We are going to Hell. After all, as if there wasn't enough evidence that Donald Trump is dangerous during the 2016 Election Cycle, new evidence has surfaced and is continuing to surface into 2017. For example:

  1. Of course Trump won't attack Russia...yet, anyway—remember Molotov-Ribbentrop, anyone?
  2. The Burlington Electric Department became a victim of Russian cyberterrorism—and likely Russian Anti-Semitic terrorism (After all, whose home state is Vermont?).
  3. Sadly, Trump is—at best—looking like Kim Jong-Un and—at worst—even making Kim Jong-Un look mature. As RTed by someone whom I follow on Twitter (and which he followed up with a non-apology "apology" tweet:

What other evidence that Donald Trump is dangerous does one need? As I've observed, at least a Hillary Clinton win would've brought in a repeat of the Bill Clinton years and two additional GOP Congressional years—after all, the GOP would've made sure to have a two-term presidency of Hillary Clinton be a repeat of 1995-2001 and what could've been 1993-1994 had the GOP Congress begun being in office in 1993.
