And here I am meditating on Ron S. Cantor's blog entry for the first--maybe even the second--time today. I'm also meditating on a Hebrew4Christians entry. When I threw in my lot with my people, I chose to die--even if it meant that I actually would die. Now I can't even do what I was called to do, much less even wear my tallit to my family's Christmas gathering (and I guarantee that if I try to sneak it in, I'm going home--and that's what I get for being unable to drive and support myself at present). To some extent, I now understand what my Anusi family had and has had to go through--never being able to live Jewishly and do tzedek, whether or not they believed in Yeshua--and that's what I get for having a gentile mom (or at least a possibly-Jewish mom who doesn't give drek about her heritage).
As I told a friend, "I just can't have another generation assimilate." As I've also stated, "#MyChristmaswishis for either the #Rapture (#2013isouryear, let's hope.) or a rich, Messianic Jewish guy to get me out of Dodge [--or Baltimore, in my case]." I don't want my line cut off from Israel (We already risked that when a Levit married a Khazar and produced a line that became the Foczko line.), and I'm not willing to risk that my line should be cut off from Israel again (At least the Foczkos and Hanzoks, and the Andrulrewiczes and Danilowiczes were smart and followed Numbers 36--and I at least sometimes wonder if Acts 15 and Deuteronomy 7:1-5 apply to Numbers 36: viz., is intermarriage still immoral [at least for Jews]? By the way, most Anusim are smart that way--that is, we stick together.).
In conclusion, when I got out of my Dodge (Baltimore)--G-d willing--, I'm standing up for my people again--and I'm not marrying a goy (and as much as I love my to-be in-law brother, G-d willing, that--that is, marrying a gentile--is not going to happen for me).
