Just Some Highlights Of An ~24-Hours Period At Reilly's And Camille's House

  1. Cam's barking caused "Auntie Nicole" to have a myoclonus flareup and spill some wine on herself and the tableplace in front of her. Guess who got blamed, by the way?
  2. "Mimi"/"Auntie Michelle" just took Camille and Reilly for a walk by herself, and they're hard enough for even one person without a physical disability to handle alone. As "Auntie Nicole"/"Momma" suspected that "Mom-Mom" would be, "Mom-Mom" (who just came home from visiting some family members) is pissed (and "Auntie Nicole"/"Momma" told "Mimi"/"Auntie Michelle", "Good luck!")!
  3. In between the wine spill and "Mom-Mom"'s understandable reaction to "Mimi"/"Auntie Michelle"'s boneheaded idea: Camille and Reilly got to try some peas. Let's just say that each of them sitting and waiting for a peas, affecting a Google search, and getting half a peapod's worth of peas was enough to get especially Cam excited—she obviously ate too quickly and excitedly!
Just now: "Mimi"/"Auntie Michelle" just got back....as "Auntie Nicole"/"Momma" types....waiting....

"So, Mom took them from here. And guess who they saw?...They were practically perfect little angels for me, and they pretty well behaved when they saw Shelby!"

"She was not too pleased that I'd taken them on a walk myself....she just seemed insistent that I not take them by myself again....[S]he was very matter of fact...."

That was not the reaction that "Mom-Mom" had when she came home!

By the way, "Momma" and Reilly are continuing to pray for everyone whom is affected by Hurricane Harvey. They also hope that a picture of Reilly and Camille from National Puppy Day will cheer everybody up as much as possible given the circumstances.

Somewhat Offbeat: Speaking Of Pet Owners With Disabilities...

"Momma" is really considering DBS Surgery. Of course, "Momma" also has to consider a few factors that she didn't have to consider during ITB Pump Surgery. For example:

  1. Of course, how Reilly will be affected overall.
  2. Having to have a shaved head, which might scare Reilly . Besides, one DBS patient, for example, has a supportive spouse and a head covering. "Momma", on the other hand, doesn't (at least yet) have her helpmate/Reilly's "Daddy" there in her life or their lives; and having a shaved head might alone further stigmatize her, even in the eyes of "Momma"'s possible helpmate/"Reilly"'s possible "Daddy"—any unattractiveness (as if "Momma" was ever really attractive, anyway) could have anyone revulse from her all the more; and that might affect Reilly and not even make the DBS Surgery worth it in the end.
  3. The albe-remote-and-nonetheless-existent risk of a brainbleed—and "Momma" already had a Category-Three one at birth, thanks (Not being disrespectful to God; just saying.)
  4. Will "Momma" be able to go home relatively right away or have to be in a rehabilitation-and-recovery center and not see Reilly for while? Will Reilly be able to be brought at least to the hospital to see "Momma" at all (as some puppies have been allowed to do for their owners?)

Re Boni's To-Be Hotel And Fellow People Of Hers Whom Struggle With Mental Illnesses

I think that Boni's hotel will be a place where people whom struggle with mental illnesses like she does (and like I do) will be able to go when their families kick them out for having mental illnesses or when they otherwise move away from their homes due to having mental illnesses and non-supportive families, when they'd rather stay in hotels like Boni's hotel than stay in psychiatric hospitals, and when they are affected by other circumstances.

A Woman Whom Abused Her Puppy? Or Did She Have A Severe Mental-Illness Flareup?

I wonder if she has severe mental illness such as Bipolar or Schizoaffective Disorder. Before people judge her as "trash", they need to remember that people with mental illnesses such as  Bipolar and Schizoaffective Disorders act highly unusually during mental-illness flareups. My sister has a friend whom may have Schizoaffective Disorder and even got him- or her-self in academic and legal trouble as a result of a mental-illness flareup, for example (He or she is known to have Bipolar Disorder for sure.).

Meanwhile (and those who have read my blog previously know this), my great-great-grandmother Alexandria Czarnecki was known as "a holy terror" and "a tough cookie" whom almost caused my great-grandmother Mary Czarnecki to have a mental breakdown. Only when I saw my great-granduncle Bernie Czarnecki's death certificate did I figure it out: Great-Great-Grandma had Schizophrenia (the other mental illness of which Schizoaffective Disorder is comprised). As far as I know, Great-Granduncle Bernie was the only of my Czarnecki great-granduncles and great-grandaunts to have had it, by the way; and Great-Granddad Czarnecki seems to have not had Schizophrenia (He did have suicide-affecting Depression, though; so, he was not completely lucky in terms of escaping mental illnesses. He had his own struggles.).

Homemade Chocolate, A Rubber Band, and Broken Glass: aka, Scarily-Fatal Devices To Puppies

  1. When one has a puppy like Reilly or Camille, one has to be careful with chocolate—especially homemade chocolate. "Momma" cannot tell you how much worrying about how getting every chocolate fleck and even wiping off areas where there may have been no flecks was—her Bruxism is still flared up in part because of that!
  2. Reilly and Camille thought that they were in trouble because "Momma"/"Auntie Nicole" yelled "Nooo!" when she dread that they maybe would've gotten the rubber band that "Auntie Michelle"/"Mimi" left on the floor—and did "Momma"/"Auntie Nicole" let "Auntie Michelle"/"Mimi" know how mad and worried for Reilly and Camille she was!
  3. When "Momma"/"Auntie Nicole" broke a glass by mistake, "Auntie Michelle"/"Mimi" didn't really sweep to help her get the glass pieces off of the floor (You try having Cerebral Palsy and being able to sweep with a standard broom and dustpan—good luck!). "Momma"/"Auntie Nicole" still could feel glass pieces when she ran her hand over the floor (and got a sand-grain-sized one to lacerate her hand a tiny bit, with the wound that looks like a dot or mole on her palm), can still hear some under her feet, and had to hide some behind a basket and cover areas where glass is and might be, so that Reilly and Camille couldn't get to it.
As "Momma" and others have said, life definitely changes when you have a puppy—and objects that you could pick up or otherwise clean up later suddenly become emergency causers if they're not picked up or otherwise as soon as possible, and more-dangerous objects such as missed broken-glass pieces become even more dangerous—not that mention that, for example, OCD/Anxiety-flareup triggers become even more triggering.

Re People With Mental Illnesses Having Guns: Should We Be Sitting Ducks For Ableists?

Some people with mental illnesses actually do need guns. For example, vulnerable people who may well be targeted due to have mental illnesses need guns to defend themselves. As for Tr**p, he actually hates people with disabilities, including those whom have mental illnesses.

Thus, this ableist ploy by Tr**p to demonize people with mental illnesses may well backfire on him when his Tr**pites whom are committing hate crimes may realize that people with mental illnesses will not allowed themselves to have people step on them.

As for me, I wish that I had and could use a gun to defend myself against anyone whom would target me due to my Depression, OCD/Anxiety, and/or ADD alone (and wasn't getting a threat from a "physically fit German American" due to being a Jew with disabilities enough?).

Besides, look at how the Nazis were partly able to implement T4: they made it illegal for Jews in Europe to be armed, and (as I found out via JewishGen) I lost a cousin whom was murdered because she had Schizophrenia:

Lumping in all people with mental illnesses with those such as Adam Lanza, whom refused to get help and whom committed a mass murder-suicide shooting, is wrong and playing right into Tr**p's hands.

Re The Alleged Puppy Miller Christina Fay, and A Message To the "Adopt; Don't Shop" Sloganeers

Hopefully, Christina Fay just got herself in over her head and did not commit intentional cruelty against animals. Also, people should not be demonizing legitimate breeders and people whom buy from legitimate breeders just because puppy millers give legitimate breeders a bad name. Not everyone can handle rescue animals.

For example, due to my Cerebral Palsy, I could not get a rescue animal. Besides, legitimate breeders have the right to make a living. I myself got a puppy from a loving, knowledgeable, competent, and well-regarded breeder whom the BBB has given an A+ rating (and with whom I keep in touch, by the way), and to whom a family friend of blessed memory referred me (She even got to meet my puppy when she visited my family one last time, before she died of ALS, and I still tear up thinking about how she never got to meet my sister's puppy.).

Also, I hardly see those of you whom are "Adopt; don't shop!" hypocrites standing up for abused children and wanting to reform the adoption system. In addition, where are you "Adopt, don't shop!" hypocrites calling for the overturning of "Coker" (1977) and "Kennedy" (2008)? You're more than willing to imprison puppy millers for life and demonize legitimate breeders, while you do nothing for those whom are raped (and even impregnated by rape) and otherwise abused on a constant basis!

Un poco incidental: ¡"Mama" Segura!*

As Mother's Day comes up, "Momma" has confidence in at least some things that she's doing—notwithstanding that support from "Auntie Michelle" and "Momma" is another discussion. For example, despite that "Momma" yielded less bone broth than she excepted from pulled-chicken leftovers—since she pre-boiled it on "High" and then simmered it at "Medium" for two hours, and was left with an at-the-time-surprisingly-low-to-her amount of liquid—she ended up making a bone broth that Reilly (and she herself) likes—a thick, hardy, pre-kashered broth (Even despite that it was an organic chicken, the leftovers were pre-kashered, todah rabah!). By the way, "Momma" did not have a Crock Pot® on hand; so, she used the old-fashioned method of filling a pot with water and boiling the leftovers in water.

With "Mom-Mom", "Momma"/"Auntie Nicole" does no good deed in making old-fashioned bone broth for Reilly and Camille—much less not just chucking out leftovers, mind you. Nonetheless, Reilly and Camille have liked what they've of the bone broth—both as a treat in of itself and as broth in which one treat for each of them was dipped.

With both "Mom-Mom" and "Auntie Michelle", meanwhile, "Momma" does no good deed in using the muzzle when she has to do—in fact, one of them will either take it off  when she cab before the time to take it off comes and/or not help "Momma" put on and/or put back on the muzzle. Meanwhile, Reilly has been fine with the muzzle—if, on the other hand, you think that "Momma" is abusive, you may gladly come over and help her roll over Reilly as she says, "Who rules?", since "Mom-Mom" doesn't and "Auntie Michelle" rarely does!

*Somewhat Offbeat: Confident "Momma"!

Reilly Does Not Have Astigmatism!

"Momma" does not know where "Auntie Michelle" got the idea that she does, notwithstanding that "Auntie Michelle" herself has astigmatism and would be able to notice astigmatism better than "Momma" would. Besides, "Momma" looked at Reilly's eyes today, and she didn't see signs of astigmatism—or at least any significant signs—and the vet didn't see any signs at Reilly's vet appointment. Even "Mom-Mom" saw no signs—and the only reason that "Momma" asked "Mom-Mom" is to have someone else off of whom to bounce "Auntie Michelle"'s idea.

By the way, "Auntie Michelle" apparently saw it in Reilly's right eye, which certainly is not affected by astigmatism; and "Momma" had the impression that it was Reilly's left eye to which "Auntie Michelle" referred!

Somewhat Offbeat: A Few Remarks From "Mom-Mom" Over the Past Few Days & A Note To Someone

"After Mom-Mom" said that "Momma" doesn't love Reilly as much as she loves Cam, "Momma"/"Auntie" got incredibly sarcastic with her and sent her this picture—which she took for her phone wallpaper—this morning: "You're right: I don't love Reilly or ever try to take pictures of her."

She also sent an earlier picture:

"She wanted me to take her picture."

"Mom-Mom" later said that "it's about time" instead of apologizing to "Momma".

Remarks like that sting, and especially after (for example) "Mom-Mom" already accused "Momma" of being "lazy" for not putting Reilly's soft food in the fridge right away or in a jar a few days ago—notwithstanding that "Momma" put it in a bag and tried to put a lid over it before she and Reilly went "night nights"—and "Momma" neither knew or heard that she was supposed to put it way, as she thought that "Auntie Michelle" was supposed to put it away that time. But if se did hear it, she forget that she heard it due to her ADD—and she can't just "train [herself]" to manage it better.

Speaking of which, "Momma" has a quick note for someone:

¿Porqué hiciste pensar que yo fuera áspera con respecto a qué ella dijo a mí a eso un momente? Yo no fuera áspera.

Explaining IBS To Reilly, and How Reilly Deals With "Momma"'s IBS Flareups

For example, one IBS flareup occurred due to the self-cleaning-oven incident today—and Reilly's stress stressed "Momma" out. Others occur quite frequently, with—for instance—poor Ri having to deal with when "Momma" has IBS flareups at night. The ways in which "Momma" has explained IBS and IBS flareups to Reilly include telling Reilly when "['Momma's'] colon and bladder [or bladder and colon] are acting funny" to just telling Reilly that "['Momma's'] having an IBS flareup."

Of course, "Mom-Mom" and "Auntie Michelle" aren't exactly compassionate or helpful about that, and "Momma" doesn't need uncompassionate and unhelpful family*schwer zu sein genug a Yid, un a Yid vemen hot a shlafkeyt fun gederem 😫 !

*Incidentemente, persisto preguntar al un persona cierto: ¿estás me dando una respuesta clara eventualmente or continuando no me dar una  respuesta clara? La necesito para mí y Reily.

As "Auntie Nicole"/"Momma" Promised...

With the klipeh that Camille can be, more jealously, and gray hairs, then...

  1. To make a long story short, Camille can be a klipeh—and a klipeh she was when "Mom-Mom" and "Mimi" tried her used to the electric brush—and with trying to run away, getting into her crate to avoid having to be brushed, attempting to bite and biting, attempting to scratch and scratching, Camille gave "Mimi" and "Mom-Mom" an absolutely-hard time. What the next attempt at acclimating her to the brush holds, only God knows!
  2. As usual, Reilly has tried to monopolize attention—and scare Cam out of getting attention. For example, Reilly blocked off Cam when she got to meet and get scritches from "Great-Grandma" again last week. Meanwhile, Reilly has yet to meet "Pop-Pop" and other paternal relatives of "Momma".
  3. As Reilly currently growls, "Momma" reflects on how many gray hairs she saw on her head in the mirror this morning—and she also reflects on how, for instance, she was lucky that she just tried to take Reilly "peedie" and had not yet gotten Reilly's harness and leash off, because she would not have been able to reach her to get the muzzle on her. She also had an incredibly-hard time rolling over Reilly's cousin, notwithstanding that she was also able to reach her only because she still had on her harness and leash. 👵🙁

Preview Of the Next Post: Electric-Brush Hell, More Jealously, And Other Notes

  1. Grooming irked off Camille enough—taking the groomer's suggestion to gently use an electric toothbrush to get her used to brushing at the next grooming appointment irked her off even more, and "Mimi" once again got to see what "Auntie Nicole" had to endure after trying to get Camille's leash and harness on after the torando warning for a week or so.
  2. Once again, Reilly has continued to monopolize every bit of attention that she can get.
  3. "Momma"'s been worn out and tired once again—and Reilly, who, for example, could sense "Momma"'s anxiousness over trying to clean the coffee machine for "Mom-Mom" and "Auntie Michelle" today, also at least sometimes tends to affect anxiety (or even OCD/Anxiety flareups). Reilly has even helped contribute some gray hair (yes; gray hair!) to 27-year-old-and-only-getting-older "Momma" (and thanks to "Auntie Michelle" for pointing out to "Momma" that she has gray hair—as if she needed that pointed out to her with all the other stuff that she endures!).

Reilly the Trickster & Camille Getting "Lie Down" More & More

Two days ago, Reilly decided to bring back an old trick: "peedie" right in front of "Momma" on purpose. Needlessly to say, "Momma" worried that Reilly might have another UTI—and thus, Reilly had to go see the vet—and the vet pointed out Reilly's trick really quickly.

Long story short, Reilly rang the bell to "go potty" and not to—as she sometimes does—ring the bell to get attention. Therefore, she later decided to get back at "Momma" and to not even ring the bell the second time, and she "peedied" on the hallway carpet both times—and the second instance occurred when "Momma" was going to get socks to use to restuff one of the toys that both Reilly and Camille received for Chrismukkah (Fine timing, Ri; fine timing.).

As for Cam, she's getting "lie down" more and more—notwithstanding her stubbornness that she uses to act like she doesn't know how to "lie down"—and as "Auntie Nicole" types, Cam is (or was, and is again) napping on her favorite chair and snuggling with "Froggie" (whom "Auntie Nicole" restuffed with parts of a sock and arm-tiringly resewed, and whom Cam effectively reunstuffed). Now, "Auntie Nicole" has to go restuff the other toy.

By the way, "Momma"/"Auntie" Nicole is not doing any giveaways or free promotions of the book on Camille when it comes out—too many people got free copies of the other books without spreading the word about the books to their friends and/or buying copies of the other books, and that doesn't help "Momma" be able to provide as much as she can for Reilly (especially without a certain person in her and Reilly's lives).

Somewhat Offbeat: "Momma"'s OCD/Anxiety Is Flaring Up Because...

Her possible helpmate and Reilly's possible "Daddy" won't reach out to her and give her a clear answer, thus affecting her to be anxious, exhausted, etc.. Even last night, "Momma" stayed up thinking about her possible helpmate and Reilly's possible "Daddy"; and she's anxious enough to be nauseous right now.

She is not looking for any easy way out of anything at all—in fact, she's writing the books about Reilly and other books partly to be able to become an author with enough money to provide for Reilly and stand in her own right—nonetheless, that doesn't change that, for example, she needs help rolling over Reilly when Reilly barks inappropriately and carrying Reilly's water bowl back and forth (and "Mom-Mom" and "Auntie Michelle" criticize her for simply having to pour new water into Reilly's water bowl instead of dump the old water and pour completely new water). Besides, she wants to be able to walk Reilly  in the future and have someone with whom to walk with her and Reilly.

In any case, "Momma" thinks that her possible helpmate and Reilly's possible "Daddy" love her and Reilly, though she's just not sure. In addition and as aforestated, not having a clear answer from Her possible helpmate and Reilly's possible "Daddy" affects her to OCD/Anxiety flareups, etc. and be a bad "Momma" to Reilly. Furthermore, neither "Momma" nor Reilly are getting younger—and Reilly's Gregorian birthday is on the 25th of March.

Also, "Momma" has asked before what she needs to do to get her possible helpmate and Reilly's possible "Daddy" to reach out to her—the case isn't, as far as "Momma" knows, that he isn't strong enough to help her—in fact, he's quite strong enough to help her and Reilly.

Some Of the Events Of Reilly's & Camille's Past 24-Plus Hours

With "de-ja-[malti]poo" involved, events included the usual jealously episodes—at least one of which involved jealous whimpering by Reilly—and interesting potty-session happenings—with the most recent one providing, if you will, a confirmation of freezing or below-freezing ground temperatures. As for the more-unusual events, meanwhile, two of them involved Reilly and Camille being calming presences.

The first one occurred when Reilly attempted to calm "Momma" down when "Momma" almost had to engage in "Castle Doctrine"-style defense of her computer, and let's just say that Reilly certainly would understand that asking "Auntie Michelle" multiple times to not touch her computer and watching as she brazenly went to do it warranted "Momma" to reach up from the floor to attempt to avert "Auntie Michelle" from going over there. Of course, Reilly didn't understand why "Momma"—who fell asleep as she waited for "Auntie Michelle" to bring Reilly down and take her "potty"—would have to reach up and not be able to just get up—notwithstanding that "Auntie Michelle" knows exactly why an exhausted "Momma" couldn't just get up from her napping spot. Meanwhile, let's just say that "Momma" got a ton of kisses from an arbitive mediator.

The second incident occurred when tail-wagging Camille indicated that "Auntie Nicole" was letting "Mimi" rile her up too much during a discussion—and she wagged her tail to indicate that the situation was getting too tense. When Auntie Nicole went to apologize for letting "Mimi" rile her up, Camille tried to defuse the tension by playing with—for example, playfully pawing at—and trying to get belly rubs from "Auntie Nicole".

Never a dull moment. Never a dull moment. This isn't to say that, e.g., there aren't lonely ones, even with Reilly and Camille around—especially when, e.g., who could help "Momma" out just isn't there right now.

De-Ja-(Maltese-)Poo(dle)

All too similarly to Sunday, today was another day for "Momma" to attempt roll over a barky—and this time, squirmy—Reilly and deal as much with Reilly's jealously as "Auntie Michelle" did after she came home from work and spent time with her own "dogter", as Reilly even took over and blocked her lap to prevent Camille from sitting on it. Reilly also got a particularly-disgusting piece of bathroom trash—which "Momma" will not mention by name—after the aide who comes over every day to help "Momma" get out and walk (at, as "Momma" has mentioned, "Mom-Mom"'s insistence 😳🙄) accidentally left the bathroom door open before she left for the day—and Camille also got some of what Reilly got after Reilly brought it out of the bathroom with her and "Auntie Nicole"/"Momma" caught that Reilly had it!

Needlessly to say, "Momma"'s OCD/Anxiety flared up for quite a while after that.

Yesterday's Incident That Involved A Neighborhood Pitbull & A "Potty" Session

The long story short, regarding an incident in the afternoon of February 27th EST, is this:

Reilly and Camille made another good call in barking when they saw a notorious fence-jumping neighborhood pitbull from the window by the computer, though they really shouldn't have been barking—besides, as "Momma"/"Auntie Nicole" told Reilly, Reilly and Camille didn't need to worry about the other puppy.

Also, "Momma" thankfully had Reilly's harness and leash on Reilly when Fence Jumper* came and ran along the side of the fence that is opposite to the back porch. Then again, Fence Jumper could've jumped into the yard and continued to disobey her owner instead of eventually going back to her family's house**. Either way, Reilly and Camille—notwithstanding that their barking alerted "Momma"/"Auntie Nicole" to Fence Jumper's escape and run in the neighborhood—ended up not having to worry about her.

* Real name withheld. Also, Fence Jumper is a sweet pitbull and one whom can be aggressive in spite of her sweetness.
** That may've created a situation in which "Momma" would've needed someone to help her and Reilly.

Most Of My Commentary Will Have To Be On Twitter, My Blog, &c..

A couple of reasons for this are:

  1. YouTube's continued kiboshing of webcam-upload technology.
  2. Cerebral Palsy and mental illnesses—part of the reason that YouTube's kiboshing of webcam-upload technology is abysmally detrimental to me (and others with disabilities)—don't allow me to have the wherewithal—physically, mentally, or otherwise—to be able to write, type, hold a camera, etc. 17-15/7. There are even days on which I can't write about Reilly of late.
  3. I'm working on becoming an author and I have other things to do as well—I don't have the luxury to write, type, etc.. at least 8/7.
Thus, most of my commentary will have to be on Twitter, Blogger, etc. to save me strength energy, time.

"Momma" Tried To Roll Reilly Over Herself; "Auntie Michelle" Had To Deal With Stubborn & Jealous Reilly, Etc..

Trying to roll over Reilly herself—although Reilly at least gets that "Momma" will roll her over if she has to do so, as she demonstrated just now—got "Momma" only to hold Reilly as she stood on her two back legs—once again evidencing that "Momma" needs to have her helpmate and Reilly's "Daddy" in both her life and Reilly's life as soon as possible. Also not helping "Momma" was when Reilly decided to have "Auntie Michelle" again "pick her up" to take her downstairs to "go potty" and bring her up to "Momma" as exhausted and fighting-off-an-ear-infection "Momma" was studying for an online class, fell asleep multiple times during the study session—though she at least benefited in inadvertently engaging in the study-sleep cycle of information retention—and was already upstairs for the night, anyway—and since "Momma" is not fighting off her infection with antibiotics, she still is a little more sleepy of late.

Incidentally, "Momma"/"Auntie Nicole" fell today when she was carrying both the book for her class and what she needed to replace Ri's and Cam's water in their water bowls in their crates—and had Ri and Cam not been in their crates in order for "Momma"/"Auntie Nicole" to have focused study time, a chair and/or "Momma"/"Auntie Nicole" could've fallen on one or both of them—and she at least landed on her stomach and without hitting her face on the cabinet in front of her. Meanwhile, she stayed by Ri and Cam while she was studying—and she did fall asleep this time!

Speaking of and back to when she did fall asleep and was upstairs for the night anyway, "Momma" had to deal with a jealous Reilly both during "night nights" time and this morning—Reilly would neither let Camille say "night nights" to "Momma"/"Auntie Nicole" or onto her bed when they came to greet her in the morning, and "Mom-Mom" had to convince Camille that jumping up on "Auntie Nicole"'s bed was going to be safe despite Reilly's jealousy.
