My Family History Information For Those Whom Also Have Mishpacha In Poland

There are some photos in a Word document in which I first saved this.

(I should note that when I looked for information on, e.g., FamilySearch, I also kept in mind whether the people in question looked like family members. Of course, I kept locations in mind.). Some come from family members and others come from sources such as FamilySearch.
  1. Lipsk (Suwalki Gubernia; today Podlaskie).
  2. Krasnopol and surrounding towns (e.g., Krasne nad Krasnopol)
  3. Suwalki
  4. Augustow
  5. Sejny
  6. Kaletnik and surrounding towns (e.g., Bose/Bosse)
  7. Boczki
  8. Bialystok and surrounding towns
  9. Nowy Targ and surrounding towns (e.g., Jablonka, Kacwin)
  10. Lapsze Nizne
  11. Bakalarzewo and surrounding towns
  12. Warszawa
Families (Some branches of whom later became Anusim during pogroms, etc.):

  1. Andrulewicz (originally Andrulevic[i]us of Stakliskes. Kohanim)*
  2. Danilowicz (originally "Danilovich" of Dunilavicy, Belarus. Somehow connected to the Chavusy Daniloviches.)*
  3. Kruszynski/Krusinski*
  4. Wierzbinski*
  5. Margevich (in Lithuania in 1818 for Census), Margiewicz, Morgoviciute*
  6. Trudnyak**
  7. Munka/Monka**
  8. Czerniecki (originially Chernetski or variants thereof)*
  9. Gajdosz ^
  10. Uszinsky/Ushinsky^
  11. Foczko/Focko^^^
  • * The paternal grandmother of my father's paternal grandfather was "Katarzyna" Danilowiczowna Czerniecka, having become an Anusit in February 1843. She was born in October 1838 to Wojciech (likely originally "Avraham") and Marianna/Maryanna (likely originally "Mariam Hanah") Kruszynska (or Krusinska) Danilowicz (She and her parents were deliberately ambiguous on her baptism and marriage records). She married "Antoni" Czerniecki (a son of "Pawel" and "Dominika" Wierzbinska Czerniecki) in Mackowa Ruda in 1860 and gave her birthdate as 1843 there, and had to swear that she did not sign a "prenuptial agreement" (viz. ketubah). Both were born in Krasne nad Krasnopol. I know of no t'vilah or t'vilah l'Anusim of "Antoni" or his parents, or "Katrarzyna"'s parents.
  • *Julian Czerniecki was the paternal grandfather of my paternal grandfather. His parents had, from what I understand, become ba'alim teshuvah when they moved to Lipsk. He married Aleksandria Alicja Andrulewiczowna (b. June 26, 1882) of Bosse, whose parents were an Andrulevicus and a Morgoviciute from Stakliskes prior to the death of Shmuil Morgovich (d. April 4, 1882 of tuberculosis).
  • **The Trudnyaks claim to have been originally from Kacwin. They were from Jablonka nad Nowy Targ, and there were Trudnyakovs in Odesa, Ukraine who died in the Shoah. My branch ended up as Anusim in Vel'ka Frankova, Slovakia and Budapeszt, Hungary. The paternal grandmother of my father was Mary Trudnak Czarnecki, a daughter of Mihaly "Michael Trudn[i]ak" Trudnyak (the son of Mihaly and Maria Nagyova Trudnyak. The Nagys had been Anusim of Budapeszt and Obudai.) and Anna Amalia Munkova "Anna Monka" Trudnyak (who was named after a daughter of Samuel and Rosalia Korschova Munka. The daughter had a t'vilah l'Anusit and died shortly thereafter.
  • Foczko/Focko: My branch became Anusim and left Radom, Warszawa, and Lodz for Upper Hungary (Slovakia) in the 1770s.
  • Gajdosz (Hom[m]a and Gajdosz) and Uszinsky: My branches ended up in what are now Gaboltov and Secovce, Slovakia. For the Uszinskys, Anna Jas[z]ova (of Jan and Eva Polin/Palin Uszinsky) married Jan Haszlinsky (d. unknown) then Uszinsky (transliterated "Ushinsky"). Mihal "Michael Gaydos[h]" Gajdosz and Katarina "Katherine Ushinsky" Uszinskyova Gajdosz became Anusim as adults. Their son Michael was the maternal grandfather of my father, and married Marysia "Mary" Elizabeth Rusnak (the daughter of Anusim Andras "Andrew Rusnak" and Juliana Foczkova "Julia Fosko" Rusznak).

The Night Owl: aka, An Explanation Of My Writing and Commentating-Analyzing Processes

I write, and I do commentary and analysis—of that fact, I've made no secret. I'm also a night owl, and my being a night owl explains—and, in turn, is explained by—my writing, commentating, and analyzing. On that point:

"I have set watchmen upon thy walls, O Jerusalem, they shall never hold their peace day nor night: 'Ye that are the LORD'S remembrancers, take ye no rest, And give Him no rest, till He establish, and till He make Jerusalem a praise in the earth.'"
And the word of the LORD came unto me, saying: 'Son of man, speak to the children of thy people, and say unto them: When I bring the sword upon a land, if the people of the land take a man from among them, and set him for their watchman; if, when he seeth the sword come upon the land, he blow the horn, and warn the people; then whosoever heareth the sound of the horn, and taketh not warning, if the sword come, and take him away, his blood shall be upon his own head; he heard the sound of the horn, and took not warning, his blood shall be upon him; whereas if he had taken warning, he would have delivered his soul. But if the watchman see the sword come, and blow not the horn, and the people be not warned, and the sword do come, and take any person from among them, he is taken away in his iniquity, but his blood will I require at the watchman's hand.
So thou, son of man, I have set thee a watchman unto the house of Israel; therefore, when thou shalt hear the word at My mouth, warn them from Me. When I say unto the wicked: O wicked man, thou shalt surely die, and thou dost not speak to warn the wicked from his way; that wicked man shall die in his iniquity, but his blood will I require at thy hand. Nevertheless, if thou warn the wicked of his way to turn from it, and he turn not from his way; he shall die in his iniquity, but thou hast delivered thy soul.

I suppose that I'm one of those night watch(wo)men:

The burden of Dumah. One calleth unto me out of Seir: 'Watchman, what of the night? Watchman, what of the night?' The watchman said: 'The morning cometh, and also the night--if ye will inquire, inquire ye; return, come.'

Someone has to know what's going on during the night. Besides, being single and unable to get out much, I have to have some way to contribute somehow to the world and stay in the loop—if I'm not going to help make history and try to affect the world for the better, I might as well stay out of the course of history altogether.

Also, I can hopefully use my own histories—personal, familial, and other histories—to help others discover and/or understand their own histories, and thus help make history and affect the world for the better—it's a cycle in some respects, really.

The sun also ariseth, and the sun goeth down, and hasteth to his place where he ariseth. The wind goeth toward the south, and turneth about unto the north; it turneth about continually in its circuit, and the wind returneth again to its circuits. All the rivers run into the sea, yet the sea is not full; unto the place whither the rivers go, thither they go again. All things toil to weariness; man cannot utter it, the eye is not satisfied with seeing, nor the ear filled with hearing.

An Ethnocidal-Religiocidal 21-Year-Old & Nine Innocents: Why?

I am trying to understand how a man who's my age could be so hard-hearted and evil. What was his motive? Infamy? "Revenge" for the racism in this country of late--how does racist violence against innocents rectify any wrongs? Evil for evil?--maybe he had a grudge and racistly scapegoated? Trying to be cool and impress his fellow ex cons? Racism and crime are never cool. Suicide by cop and murder? Why didn't he take just himself in any case? Either way, he needs the death penalty--preferably by firing squad.

My Dad's Paternal Family As a Mix of Anusim and B'nei Anusim, &c. (aka, A Summary For Those Whom Did Not Already Know)

My own family is a mix of Anusim and B'nei Anusim. Some of us are, admittedly, Jewish Christians, and we have become more sensitive to the way that we talk about our faith, etc.—at least I have, since my finding out about my heritage gave me some insight into where to draw lines, explained quite a bit of why, e.g., my family's Christmases and Easter were almost entirely secular in nature, and religious only in a going-through-the-motions way; &c.—c.q., trust me when I say that "The Night Before Christmas" was way more emphasized than the New Testament account of Jesus (if that was even talked about at all except for the going-through-the-motions wafer ceremony at dinner. As I found out later, the Catholic stuff was "tradition" and not at all out of any religious belief.).

Some of us, though, are in denial about our heritage . My dad, who'd even been somewhat open to (if he didn't already about our heritage) accepting (or begrudgingly admitting) our heritage (as his dad implicitly did in his final days after years of denial), eventually became hostile to the fact that he we are Jewish. He called it "Jewish crap", too .

As for my paternal granddad's paternal grandmother, e.g., she was furious when (as I heard and came to understand) my great-granddad married my great-grandmother, who was a very-committed Jewish Catholic and bat-Anusim. She did not believe in marriage for love, since she came from a family where shidduch was the minhag; and she was unthrilled that her son was marrying a Jesus-believing Jew. After all, she didn't become an Anusit during the pogroms, endure being cut off from her family, and have to live as an Anusit in the United States for her son to marry a, in her eyes, meshumadah.
Great-Granddad and Dad at Christmas
The Jesus picture was more of Great-Grandma's idea, and the secular aspects in every holiday were way more emphasized. BTW, Dad (left) eventually became one who'd be Reform Jewish were he honest with and for himself.
The Jack Czarnecki Family
As with above, the Jesus picture was more of Great-Grandma's idea; and the secular aspects in every holiday were way more emphasized. BTW, I found out later that my granddad (left) used to fall asleep in the back of the church from my aunt Mary (on my great-grandmother's lap. She was also the one who was told to choose between church and Christmas dinner during Christmas because "It's tradition" or something like that. "Tradition" was definitely the word that used, though. BTW, my aunt Mary was named for her grandmothers [the paternal one of whom was not the first daughter of her parents, I should note], not the mother of Jesus; and we have Sephardic heritage.)

Afghan Buddhas & China, Jerusalem & the SCOTUS, &c.

In the same way that people are outraged over China's handling of Afghanistan's ancient Buddha statues and other Buddhist architecture, people would be more outraged about Jerusalem being stepped on by the SCOTUS and other (unintentional and intentional) Anti Semites if the Government of Israel held to the "Declaration of Establishment".

In other words, the SCOTUS and others, instead of doing what is right, are saying to Netanyahu and Agudat Yisra'el, "Why should we care about Jerusalem when you all are stepping on it, anyway? After all, you arrest an American oleh for eating a ham sandwich!"

By the way, I told you that Netanyahu and Agudat Yisra'el were trying to sell Israel to the "Palestinians"—you don't for example, propose an "establishment of a confederate Israeli-Palestinian state encompassing the territory of Israel, as well as the West Bank and the Gaza Strip" if you do not want a "Palestinian" state.

Cami's First Full Day Home

Having Cami home has been a series of ups and downs, and adjustments. The ups include Cami's learning of commands such as "Sit", Cami's and Reilly's development of a rapport, and loved ones' adulation of her—including the vet's good impression of her. The downs, on the other hand, include
Reilly's jealousy, Mom's failure to understand that Reilly was fine in picking up Cami by her scruff, and Cami's having accidents (including tonight, which is why she is currently on my lap—she awaits "Mimi" to change her crate towel).

At present, the 2.67-pound runt of her litter is on my lap—and hopefully staying there instead of falling off of my lap or climbing up onto the table, and hopefully not having an accident on my lap (Meanwhile, she just went back into "Mimi"'s arms; since she was whimpering and I decided to take all precautions to avoid my lap becoming her temporary potty pad.).

The brats already have a wonderful rapport and Cami even knows some commands &
