Having To Return To Basics For a Minute: Who the Heck Are Messianic Jews, And Are They Really Jews?

Messianic Jews are Ethnic Jews who believe in Yeshua as the Jewish Messiah. Unlike Divorah and Adamlance (who are clearly Anti Messianic/"Anti Missionary"/"Counter Missionary") state here, Messianic Jews are Jews by birth but follow the Christian religion. Also, Messianic gentiles who call themselves "Messianic Jews" are gerim tzdukim (lit. "righteous strangers", converts, spiritual Jews) but not Ethnic Jews in any way, shape, form, fashion, circumstance, manner, or fashion (Granted that some "gentiles" may be Jewish and/or of Jewish descent and not know that they are such, but that is another discussion).
Christianity (Messianism) was originally a Jewish sect that did not part too much with traditional/mainstream/P'rushi/Pharisaical Judaism--as Pharisees were the dominant sectarians with Judaism, with Tzdukim (Zadokians, lit. "Righteous Ones"; Sadducees) being the second-most-dominant sectarians (See Ezekiel 44:15-16 and 48:11, for example). Nonetheless, there were Anti Messianics among the Non Messianic groups who even still--albeit begrudgingly--considered their Messianic counterparts as Jewish--albeit "minim" ("heretics"), "koferim" ("apostates"), and "meshumadim" ("baptized apostates").
However, when the Temple fell in 70 AD, the break between Non-Messianic (mainly P'rushi/Talmudic) and Messianic Jewish seemed final and irreparable.

By the way, Adamlance is in an actively-homosexual relationship, which is forbidden in Tanakh (specifically, Torah). That he "live[s] in Las Vegas with [his] husband of 16 years" may explain why, in the words of Gamali'el, he is "fight[ing] against God".

The Disgustingness of Legalism

I'm embarrassed that many here are forgetting Genesis 50:20, 1 Samuel 16:7, Acts 15, Romans 14, and Colossians 2:13-17, among other verses. First of all, Yeshua made a New Covenant and nailed the 613 mitzvot to the Cross (though some remain--see Acts 15, e.g.). Secondly, a holiday that Yeshua celebrated, namely Hanukkah, comes from a pagan tradition. Thirdly, your Yahushua or Yahushishi or whoever you worship in the place of Yeshua is not the Mashiach. "I marvel that you are turning away so soon from Him who called you in the grace of Christ, to a different gospel,  which is not another; but there are some who trouble you and want to pervert the gospel of Christ." (Galatians 1:6-7) Yeshua is clearly useless to you, since you pursue your own righteousness through Torah. "I do not set aside the grace of God; for if righteousness comes through the law, then Christ died in vain.”" (Galatians 2:21) Only non-believing Jews are still under the Old Covenant. "For they being ignorant of God’s righteousness, and seeking to establish their own righteousness, have not submitted to the righteousness of God.  For Christ is the end of the law for righteousness to everyone who believes."

By the way, Sha'ul once persecuted Yeshua. Think about that if and when you persecute Sha'ul and say that Sha'ul (who became Paul) was not following Yeshua. "But I make known to you, brethren, that the gospel which was preached by me is not according to man. For I neither received it from man, nor was I taught it, but it came through the revelation of Jesus Christ." (Galatians 1:11-12). You are doing to both Sha'ul and ultimately Yeshua what Sha'ul once did to Yeshua.

Object as you will, but then why does Yirimiyahu prophesy the following? "“Behold, the days are coming, says the Lord, when I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel and with the house of Judah— 32 not according to the covenant that I made with their fathers in the day that I took them by the hand to lead them out of the land of Egypt, My covenant which they broke, though I was a husband to them,[a] says the Lord. 33 But this is the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel after those days, says the Lord: I will put My law in their minds, and write it on their hearts; and I will be their God, and they shall be My people. 34 No more shall every man teach his neighbor, and every man his brother, saying, ‘Know the Lord,’ for they all shall know Me, from the least of them to the greatest of them, says the Lord. For I will forgive their iniquity, and their sin I will remember no more.”"

You've made Yeshua quite useless, then; and I don't go after the majority to do evil. Also, many didn't believe that Yeshua was and is Mashiach.

One Thought That Occurred To Me After Engaging With Marianne Theresa Johnson-Reddick's Obituary

The first time that this has really turned over in my mind, much less even occurred as a thought: every day that Joan Gaydos Czarnecki had to deal with her mother, she probably had her questioned what her mother could do to her. She never has even visited her mother's grave. This is part of why the horror that Mary Rusnak Gaydos committed cannot be covered up--that is, not just for Vilmosz's et. al.'s sakes (though they will never come back in this lifetime and age--and do I believe that Yeshua was with them in their final moments at Auschwitz, so I'm willing to bet that we will see them with others who are asleep in Yeshua and will rise at the Rapture).

Tell me how that Grandma still won't even admit the indirect abuse that she received is okay. Tell me how that her mother ultimately turned relatives over to the Nazis is a form of abuse that she, then a six-to-eight-year-old child, should get over--especially when her older sister is holding back those supposedly-innocuous letters that were exchanged. Tell me how she can even speak about the abuse when Dr. MaryAnn Gaydos, who wields quite a bit of power in the family, won't speak about it and even once told me that she didn't want to be part of the family tree that I made--and she knows as much as I know that she said that because I found out that we are Jewish.

Keep in mind that if Dr. Gaydos tried to kibosh me from piecing together and telling our real story, she's making sure that younger sister Joan shuts up (and that others shut up) about Joan's and her mother refusing to help Vilmosz, Zoli, et. al. when they literally risked their necks and reached out to the Anusi branch for the sake of piku'ach nefesh (After all, we were minim, koferim, v'meshumadim to them; yet they somehow took a chance at trusting us and asking us for help.).

Again, and to sum up, let's just say that the fact that Great-Grandma Gaydos ultimately turned relatives over to the Nazis is a form of abuse that Grandma, then a six-to-eight-year-old child, rightly could never get over and probably had her questioning every day what her mother could do to her. She never has even visited her mother's grave.

By the way, Iwan Rusnak was murdered in 1942; Vilmosz, Zoli, et. al. in 1944.

The Shanah L'Kesafim Blog Entry Is Delayed. Meanwhile....

Please say "Kaddish" in memory of the victims of 9/11 and all victims of terrorism before and after 9/11. L'laila l'yizkor. PS Please read Page 251 of the 9/11 Commission Report and understand what 9/11 was really about. Every day, my relatives who made aliyah and were born b'Ha'Eretz Yisra'el live as though something like 9/11 had just happened or will happen again.

Remember, too, that bin Laden's name and memory have yet to be wiped out, even though we wiped out bin Laden (Y'Sh'v'Z). Someday, bin Laden's name and memory will exist and remain only in Hell, where bin Laden himself (Y'Sh'v'Z) is consigned for eternity. "“Rejoice, O Gentiles, with His people; For He will avenge the blood of His servants, And render vengeance to His adversaries; He will provide atonement for His land and His people.”" (Deuteronomy 32:43. Also see Psalm 9:11-14.) and "I saw the dead, small and great, standing before God, and books were opened. And another book was opened, which is the Book of Life. And the dead were judged according to their works, by the things which were written in the books. The sea gave up the dead who were in it, and Death and Hades delivered up the dead who were in them. And they were judged, each one according to his works. Then Death and Hades were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death. And anyone not found written in the Book of Life was cast into the lake of fire." (Revelation 20:12-14)

Let me assure, once in the Name of the Father, that bin Laden and his co conspirators (Y'Sh'v'Z) are not in the Book of Life.Let me assure, once in the Name of the Son, that bin Laden and his co conspirators (Y'Sh'v'Z) are not in the Book of Life.

Let me assure, once in the name of the Ru'ach HaKodesh, that bin Laden and his co conspirators (Y'Sh'v'Z) are not in the Book of Life!

"Tanakh does not speak of Heaven or Hell".

I disagree. Heaven was a well-established concept in Tanakh. For example, Hanokh was taken by Yehovah after 365 years. Also, David states about his son, "I shall go to him, but he will not return to me." Furthermore, Shlomo writes down, "Who knoweth the spirit of man whether it goeth upward, and the spirit of the beast whether it goeth downward to the earth?" As far as She'ol and per Dani'el 12:2 ("And many of them that sleep in the dust of the earth shall awake, some to everlasting life, and some to reproaches and everlasting abhorrence."), would there be tzedek if people like Amalek and Haman weren't eternally condemned to She'ol? Also, what of Korach? "And it came to pass, as he made an end of speaking all these words, that the ground did cleave asunder that was under them. 32 And the earth opened her mouth and swallowed them up, and their households, and all the men that appertained unto Korah, and all their goods. 33 So they, and all that appertained to them, went down alive into the pit; and the earth closed upon them, and they perished from among the assembly."

Yavan may have been influenced by his patriarchs Yafet and Noach, but I don't think that Yavan had any influence on Yisra'el's beliefs.

Intermarriage...Or Maybe Not

I wonder what they think of "intermarriage" when a gentile who is actually an  Anusi or Anusit marries a fellow Jew. The Nagy-Trudnyak and Korsch-Munka couple are a fine example of this. Nobody would've guessed (unless they really were paying attention or weren't in denial) that Mihaly and Anna Munkova Trudnyak were Anusim and bnei Anusim, whether or not they were "meshumadim"--which becomes a long discussion, because then the question becomes whether or not Yeshua would have led them to possible yeshuat had he not had them become Anusim ("possible" meaning that he may have led them, but whether or not they accepted is questionable. Their daughter Mary certainly did; and based on the fact that she even later said that we were Ukrainian [Great-Granddad was born in Cuman during a visit to Vil'gel'm Andrulevich in Buzhanka, and there were Trudnyakovs in Odessa.], I can safely assert that she knew that we are Jews.).

As far as the Trudnyaks, by the way, Anna's brother Ǎǔgǔstinǔs Samuel was the last one to be baptized (There is no baptism record for her, although there is one for the sister for whom she was named--given the birth date, July 27, 1888, that she gave for her own birthdate [which was a day after her sister's baptism date in 1884].). Mihaly and his sister Maria were baptized, but they were descended from Anusim Yosef Eleazar and Rosalia Dudayová and Mária Preczelmayerová, none of whom were baptized at birth.

My Response To Maurice Pinay And "A journal in the spirit of, but not by the author of, The Plot Against the Church."

Why are you Anti Semitic? First of all, the Holocaust did happen. Just because one person remembered his experiences wrongly and a few others have done the same or (granted) even faked Holocaust experiences does not mean that the Holocaust did not happen. I lost relatives in the Shoah, and how dare you tell Jews like me that the Shoah didn't happen. In fact, my family is paying because of what my great-grandma did during the Shoah.

Secondly, both the Old and New Testaments state that the Jews are G-d's chosen people. Jesus was, is, and will return as a Jew. Also, when you criticize Jews for worshiping other g-ds (and I concede Amos 5:26-27 and Jeremiah 8:8-9 to you), you conveniently leave out Romans 10:1-4 ("Brethren, my heart’s desire and prayer to God for Israel is that they may be saved. 2 For I bear them witness that they have a zeal for God, but not according to knowledge..."). Also, Rev. Gregory Baum was right: "Christians" are in need of a conversion, for true Christians love Jews ("You will say then, “Branches were broken off that I might be grafted in.” 20 Well said. Because of unbelief they were broken off, and you stand by faith. Do not be haughty, but fear." See Romans 11.). Also, G-d looks at intent (cf. 1 Samuel 16:7); so many Non-Messianic Jews do actually worship G-d, but they have to do so through keeping all 613 mitzvot (" For they being ignorant of God’s righteousness, and seeking to establish their own righteousness, have not submitted to the righteousness of God. For Christ is the end of the law for righteousness to everyone who believes." Romans 10:3-4.)

Thirdly, you deliberately fail to note that many Jews reject the Talmud and "Rabbi"nate (P'rushi, Pharisaical) Judaism off hand. I could go on, and you need to examine yourself--including that you need to examine why you hate and disparage Jews so much.
