I've Been Busy Lately, But...

One would think that more people would be looking at my blog (part of which you're reading at present), YouTube channel, @Nickidewbear Twitter account, and Facebook page. Alas, I've gained only a few more followers on Twitter, a few more subscribers on YouTube, and one more "Like" on Facebook. What do I have to do to get more Klout and Kred (puns intended)? I'm not trying to make this all about.me (again, pun intended), but I would like to get LinkedIn.

If nothing else, I'm hopefully skilled at making puns.

For Half Of These Celebrities, Their Religion Is Not Real To Them...

For the "Christian" celebrities in particular, some of them are only externally-culturally Christians. For example, Carrie Prejean, Carrie Underwood, Toby Keith's family, Blake Shelton and Miranda Lambert-- they all claim Jesus; but:

15 “Beware of false prophets, who come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly they are ravenous wolves. 16 You will know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes from thornbushes or figs from thistles? 17 Even so, every good tree bears good fruit, but a bad tree bears bad fruit. 18 A good tree cannot bear bad fruit, nor can a bad tree bear good fruit. 19 Every tree that does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire. 20 Therefore by their fruits you will know them.
21 “Not everyone who says to Me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ shall enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father in heaven. 22 Many will say to Me in that day, ‘Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in Your name, cast out demons in Your name, and done many wonders in Your name?’ 23 And then I will declare to them, ‘I never knew you; depart from Me, you who practice lawlessness!’

I already covered Toby Keith and his family. As for Carrie Prejean (and I thought, though I could be wrong about, that NotYourTypicalNegro on YouTube was the one who made this point about her), she stated that she believed that homosexuality is wrong only because of her upbringing and not because she really believes that "[n]either fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor homosexuals,[a] nor sodomites, nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners will inherit the kingdom of God." For Carrie Prejean ("No offense; that's just how I was raised."), the message of the Cross is offensive:

Therefore, to you who believe, He is precious; but to those who are disobedient,[a]
“The stone which the builders rejected
Has become the chief cornerstone,”[b]
And a rock of offense.”[c]
and
“A stone of stumbling
They stumble, being disobedient to the word, to which they also were appointed.

And of course the message of the Cross will be offensive; "[f]or the message of the cross is foolishness to those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved it is the power of God." By the way, homosexuality as a thorn in the flesh is (as a like to say) a-whole-nother discussion; but you can't get away with being a Christian and not expect to cause offense-- which I myself have to relearn daily.
As for Carrie Underwood, I don't see a woman who is serious about "Jesus, Take the Wheel"-- especially when she sings songs such as "Before He Cheats". The same goes for Miranda Lambert (e.g., "Kerosene), Blake Shelton's mistress and now wife.
In conclusion, these celebrities tend to have their religion as only their external, not their internal, culture because "that's just how [they] were raised", not how they ever really believed for themselves. The same may go for the parents who raised them (For more on this, ask me about it in the comments section.).

Is "How Do You Like Me Now?!" Actually A Mean Song?

An excerpt from the lyrics:

When I took off to Tennessee
I heard that you made fun of me
Never imagined I'd make it this far
Then you married into money[,] girl
Ain't it a cruel and funny world?
He took your dreams and [he] tore them apart.
He never comes home
And you're always alone
And your kids hear you cryin' down the hall
Alarm clock starts ringin'
Who could that be singin'
It's me[,] baby, with your wake up call!
How do you like me now?
How do you like me now,
Now that I'm on my way?
Do you still think I'm crazy
Standin' here today?
I couldn't make you love me
But I always dreamed about living in your radio
How do you like me now?

Another excerpt:

[Yeah,] I was always the crazy one
broke into the stadium
And I wrote your number on the 50 yard line
You were always the perfect one
And the valedictorian[,] so
Under your number[,] I wrote "call for a good time"

[And] I only wanted to [get] your attention
But you overlooked me somehow

So we can see that:

  1. He started the trouble with criminal trespass, vandalism, and publication of another party's personal information with a malicious intent to do so, and he has the hutzpah to complain about her overlooking him.
  2. He's not very forgiving.
  3. He's vengeful and vindictive.
Not that I'm perfect, and not that Toby Keith's a Christian (or at least acting like a Christian at the present time, anyway); nonetheless, this song of Toby Keith's penmanship goes against everything Biblical. For example:

  • Romans 12:19 Beloved, do not avenge yourselves, but rather give place to wrath; for it is written, “Vengeance is Mine, I will repay,” says the Lord
  • Luke 6:35 But love your enemies, do good, and lend, hoping for nothing in return; and your reward will be great, and you will be sons of the Most High. For He is kind to the unthankful and evil.
  • Psalm 83:16 Fill their faces with shame,That they may seek Your name, O Lord.
By the way, the context of Psalm 83 is that David desires to Israel should be avenged against Anti Semites. Toby Keith acts toward his former crush as if she put him through what Anti Semites have put Israel through over countless years-- and yet David is more forgiving. As a last resort, David wants for legitimate enemies of Israel (who never even did any bad to many of the Anti Semites in the first place), that they "be confounded and dismayed forever;Yes, let them be put to shame and perish, That they may know that You, whose name alone is the LordAre the Most High over all the earth.

Toby Keith acts as if his former crush was a Nazi who put countless Jews and gentiles, including Corrie ten Boom, through an inexplicable amount of pain. Yet, many of us have been perhaps beyond forgiving and even forgetful in some ways (for example, in buying Mercedes Benzes and hosting ".de" domain websites), and Corrie ten Boom forgave her former Nazi captor. By the way, the L-rd has the right to hate and laugh at the wicked; we do not, since we are human and imperfect; and even the L-rd does not desire that anyone should perish (See Ezekiel 33:11 and 2 Peter 3:8-9.), though He predestines (See Romans 9:10-24.).

Here's the video for itself, though, so that you can judge for yourself:

Is The Kabul That Hiram Hated In Israel?

Or is it Kabul, Afghanistan? "And he said , What cities are these which thou hast given me, my brother? And he calledthem the land of Cabul unto this day."

First, let's look at "Cabul" in Strong's Concordance:

The KJV Old Testament Hebrew Lexicon
 Strong's Number:   03521
Original WordWord Origin
lwbkfrom the same as (03525) in the sense of limitation
Transliterated WordTDNT Entry
KabuwlNone
Phonetic SpellingParts of Speech

 Definition
Cabul = "binding"
  1. a city on the border of Asher and located approx 10 miles (16 km) east of Akko; modern 'Kabul'
  2. a district in Galilee given by Solomon to Hiram and contemptuously called 'Cabul' by Hiram
King James Word Usage - Total: 2
Cabul 2

Then let's look at how far Ha'Eretz Yisra'el is supposed to expand. For example:

  • Exodus 23:31 KJVAnd I will set thy bounds from the Red sea even unto the sea of the Philistines, and from the desert unto the river: for I will deliver the inhabitants of the land into your hand; and thou shalt drive them out before thee.
And the border shall fetch a compass from Azmon unto the river of Egypt, and the goings out of it shall be at the sea.
Deuteronomy 1:7 KJVTurn you, and take your journey , and go to the mount of the Amorites, and unto all the places nigh thereunto, in the plain, in the hills, and in the vale, and in the south, and by the sea side, to the land of the Canaanites, and unto Lebanon, unto the great river, the river Euphrates.
Deuteronomy 11:24 KJVEvery place whereon the soles of your feet shall tread shall be yours: from the wilderness and Lebanon, from the river, the river Euphrates, even unto the uttermost sea shall your coast be.
Joshua 1:4 KJVFrom the wilderness and this Lebanon even unto the great river, the river Euphrates, all the land of the Hittites, and unto the great sea toward the going down of the sun, shall be your coast.

A to J: Kabul, Afghanistan; Euphrates, Iraq; Euphrates, Syria; Kabul, Israel; Akko, Israel; Nile, Egypt; Edom (Petra), Jordan; Edom (Petra); Jordan; Atzmon, Israel; Mediterranean Sea.

In conclusion, the Kabul that Hiram hated is in Israel... and I was wrong about the Kabul that Hiram hated being in Afghanistan.

Responsa Regarding Verses Such As Amos 9:7

  • Bless you sister. No disrespect but can you explain these verses,Daniel 7:9,Rev.1:14-15, and then Amos 9:7 says they are as the Ethiopians unto him.Ethiopians also have hair like wool and feet like burned brass.I am just wanting your point of view on this in a peaceful respectful manner my beautiful sister.Bless you.

  • Absolutely. Let's begin with Amos 9:7. This is to be read in context with Jeremiah 13:23, Song 1:5-6, Job 30:30, and Acts 13:1. Israel had a problematic relationship with Kushites (Africans) based on skin color. As for "brass", "Chalkolibanon" is "from a compound of (5475) and (3030) (in the implied mean of whiteness or brilliancy)". Also, Daniel 7:9 can easily be explained: Jews and other Middle Easterners (including those in the Diasporas) can and often do have wooly hair (e.g., JewFros).

Especially If And When I Become Famous...

I'm not going to be one of those celebrities who expects or wants everyone to adore me. While I'm not immune to wanting to be adored, I'm not going to be like-- for example-- Toby Keith's family. I still say that getting blocked by Stelen Covel for being honest about his family "friend" and suggesting that his sister try to make her own name is an honor. If the family wants to be idolized and have their every thought, word, and deed praised; that's their problem-- for instance, if they want people leeching off of them and if they want to inherit only this world (and not the world to come), that's their problem.

I even let people lie about me at present, and I'm sure that I'll be more lied about if and when I'm famous. At least I'll be able to make my own name and be held accountable for my own actions instead of first coming under any paternal or other family shadow-- or any other shadow. At least I won't be cornered into a "Like parent, like child" type of situation-- too bad that Krystal (who, by the way, follows the Dalai Lama on Twitter) and Stelen (who can't admit that he has a fame-hungry "friend" from-- as he stated-- "podunk South Carolina") admire a man who:

  1. Lied to G-d in the first place anyway. I remember that Toby Keith once stated that he had promised G-d that he would quit trying to get in the music business by the time that he was 30 if he didn't get in by then. He got into to the business when he was 32. So, he broke his vow to  G-d; and as I told someone, "I wear as a badge of honor that someone thought me truthful and not worldly enough to block me. Especially the son of someone who lied to G-d in the first place. I don't care if sons of liars and others like them block me. It might hurt at first; but although I'm not Jesus, I guarantee that Jesus'd be blocked and reported by many were he online today."
  2. Does trashy songs like "Red Solo Cup."
  3. Doesn't care about even the tiniest suggestion. As I told someone, "I want those of the world to hate me if they so feel compelled to hate even the smallest actions of those who are trying to be in the light." As someone else stated on YouTube, "yeah, everyone here is right. Toby Keith in the early too late 90s was great, not a bad song. Then How do you like me now came out which was a good album but after that he went downhill more and more on every album. I mean now every album sounds just the same and most of his songs are novelty and not the good kind. He had something going ,then he let it go, and the sad part is is that most people only know him for his new stuff. " The point of this criticism being reposted by me is that, now that I think about it, maybe Mercury Records and others did have a point-- when Toby Keith wasn't lavished and praised all the time, maybe that's when he was at his best.
In conclusion, here's a lesson to Toby Keith and his family: if you want to be like your dad and care more about this world than the world to come (and with this world, and not the world to come, including leechers and idolizers who worship you), that's your problem and I should be glad that worldly people like you consider me worthy to block. At least I have the chance to make my own name with integrity and to especially fall back on the hope of the world to come. I also have the chance to take criticism and consider it for what it is.
