Those who insist on keeping all 613 mitzvot make the blood worthless ("For it is impossible for those who...fall away, to renew them again to repentance, since they crucify again for themselves the Son of God, and put Him to an open shame.", as Hebrews 6 partly reads.). They like to play pick-and-choose mitzvotwhile under grace, since they cannot possibly go to the Temple and offer akorban l'kippur.

Besides, "the law, having a shadow of the good things to come, and not the very image of the things, can never with these same sacrifices, which they offer continually year by year, make those who approach perfect. For then would they not have ceased to be offered? For the worshipers, once purified, would have had no more consciousness of sins. But in those sacrifices there is a reminder of sins every year. For it is not possible that the blood of bulls and goats could take away sins.", as Hebrews 10 partly reads.

To advocate that keeping all 613 mitzvot while under grace is a mitzvah, is a sin. Legalism is sin, and "if we sin willfully after we have received the knowledge of the truth, there no longer remains a sacrifice for sins, but a certain fearful expectation of judgment, and fiery indignation which will devour the adversaries. Anyone who has rejected Moses’ law dies without mercy on the testimony of two or three witnesses. Of how much worse punishment, do you suppose, will he be thought worthy who has trampled the Son of God underfoot, counted the blood of the covenant by which he was sanctified a common thing, and insulted the Spirit of grace?"

First, please accept our apologies for a very tardy reply.

I am not sure that I understand your question, but I will do my best to respond. To begin, there is a difference between factual accuracy and truth. If I were to refer to a close friend as a brother, that is not factually accurate (he's not really my biological brother), but it does testify to a greater truth, which is that I love him and care for him as deeply as I would if he were my own brother. Likewise is many elements of our life in God, including the Bible. 
There are parts of the Bible that we can fully trust to be factually accurate, and some which are not (e.g. we don't maintain the creation was completed in an actual seven days). But, every part of the Bible, every word of it, testifies to the Truth of God. We are not so concerned with facts, but with Truth. 
The facts are that parts of Scripture are in-arguably redundant, contradictory, incomplete as a simple text. And if you regard it just as a simple text, you will be disappointed. But the truth is that the Holy Spirit lives and breaths through Scripture, and gives life to the Church and its people. The fact that it may be "errant", strictly speaking, makes no difference and takes nothing away. It indeed remains the Word of God.

Why doesn't the Orthodox Church believe in the inerrancy of the Word of G-d (the Bible)?

The Catholic (in this case, Byzantine Catholic) Church believes that fact is not necessarily truth, and vice versa. The Catholic Church also believes that facts are not important, thus that truth is actually not that important. They also believe that Jesus (Who is the Word), is "in-arguably redundant, contradictory, incomplete"; and that Jesus can't actually remain the Word of G-d.

Jesus is being pretty nice-- he knows that we Jews had no mens rea (cf. Luke 23:34) and that our evil was quite inadvertent (cf. Genesis 50:20)-- we still got caught up in the emotion and hype that Pilate and the gentiles (as well as the Sanhedrin in cahoots with Pilate). Yet, all we have to do is accept that we sacrificed Pischeinu (cf. 1 Cor 5:7).

I have to remember how the Bible says that I will be persecuted. I never have ever said that Jews are wicked. Being a Jew, I Scripturally supported how Modern Judaism is indeed wicked. I have also openly condemned Catholics such as E. Michael Jones who have hutzpah to speak on Modern Judaism when they have no authority to do so whatsoever. I also condemn the actions of the Pablo Christianis and Nicolas Donins who, by their actions, miss the opportunity to share their faith-- they instead turn fellow Jews off from the faith. If they want to burn their own copies of Talmud Bavli, they are more than welcome to do so -- Talmud Bavli is full of wickedness such as Kabbalah. But to burn others' copies instead of using them to witness is unacceptable.

After all, Brit Chadashah specifically states:


 And there will be great earthquakes in various places, and famines and pestilences; and there will be fearful sights and great signs from heaven. ¹² But before all these things, they will lay their hands on you and persecute you, delivering you up to the synagogues and prisons. You will be brought before kings and rulers for My name’s sake. ¹³ But it will turn out for you as an occasion for testimony.


I have to take persecution as, so to speak, a badge of honor or even a kind of yellow star. Many Anti Semites and spiritual kapos (Antimissionaries) who want to destroy Messianic Jews and Messianic Judaism are about:

“For the oppression of the poor, for the sighing of the needy,
Now I will arise,” says the Lord;
“I will set him in the safety for which he yearns.”

⁶ The words of the Lord are pure words,
Like silver tried in a furnace of earth,

By the way, Matthew 23:33-35 is specifically talking about Antimissionary P'rushim and soferim in Yamim-Yeshua as well as all Antimissionary P'rushim and soferim who will follow them. Yeshua is very kind to Jews who do not know ha'emet:


³² There were also two others, criminals, led with Him to be put to death. ³³ And when they had come to the place called Calvary, there they crucified Him, and the criminals, one on the right hand and the other on the left. ³⁴ Then Jesus said, “Father, forgive them, for they do not know what they do.”


What the Church won't tell you, by the way, is that the Jews didn't know what we were doing; while Pilate and the gentiles did, did what they did, anyway; and tried to cover their tuchuses. Pilate particularly wanted to make trouble for a crowd who was very confused and emotional:

¹⁵ Now at the feast the governor was accustomed to releasing to the multitude one prisoner whom they wished. ¹⁶ And at that time they had a notorious prisoner called Barabbas. ¹⁷ Therefore, when they had gathered together, Pilate said to them, “Whom do you want me to release to you? Pilate didn't really believe in the innocence of Yeshua or he would've never washed his hands "of the blood" and "delivered Him to be crucified."

What Did Jesus Bring? Redemption

She sadly misses the point, though Benedict XVI has hutzpah-- he doesn't really believe that Jesus is G-d.

"I’m confused about what the jews were doing for those 3000 years before Jesus was born. I mean, if we agree that the God of Abraham is Jesus’ dad, then… God didn’t arrive with Jesus."

Firstly, Jews were stuck keeping a Torah that involved discrimination and breaking donkeys' necks when we couldn't kill lambs-- see D'varim 23:1-8 and Shemot 13. Romans 7:4-25 explains the purpose of Torah and that Jesus brought yeshuat v'kippur that was based on better than Torah. So, Jesus brought yeshuat v'kippur based on chen v'rachamim.

Secondly, Yeshua brought the fulfillment of Vayikra 17:11:

"‘And whatever man of the house of Israel, or of the strangers who dwell among you, who eats any blood, I will set My face against that person who eats blood, and will cut him off from among his people. For the life of the flesh is in the blood, and I have given it to you upon the altar to make atonement for your souls; for it is the blood that makes atonement for the soul.’"

By the way, this is why the following is figurative, which proves that Non-Evangelical Catholicism and the doctrine of transubstantiation are pure kefirot:


"And as they were eating, Jesus took bread, blessed and broke it, and gave it to them and said,“Take, eat; this is My body.”
^"Then He took the cup, and when He had given thanks He gave it to them, and they all drank from it.  And He said to them, “This is My blood of the new covenant, which is shed for many. Assuredly, I say to you, I will no longer drink of the fruit of the vine until that day when I drink it new in the kingdom of God.”"


Thirdly, Yeshua brought more than I can name here.


In conclusion, Yeshua brought chofesh m'Torah l'Moshe, yeshuat v'kippur based on chen v'rachamim, and fulfillment much of Tanakh, among other things.

One More Thing Regarding Jews, Jesus, and Antimissionarism

‎"As it is written: “Behold, I lay in Zion a stumbling stone and rock of offense, And whoever believes on Him will not be put to shame.”" (Romans 9:33) One thing that I hope that people learn about me really quickly is that I let be your schtick if you don't believe in the historical and Biblical Jesus of Nazareth as the Messiah. However, I won't cave in to Antimissionarism. If you take offense at the "stumbling stone and rock of offense", you can take offense at the "stumbling stone and rock of offense". Just don't tell me that I'm not Jewish because I "[believe] on Him[. I] will not be put to shame." Laila tov.

Nothing feels better than knowing that Antimissionaries who swear "We Jews will NEVER convert!"-- as if they speak for all Jews-- "'will look to me, whom they pierced.' They will mourn for him as one mourns for an only son; they will be in bitterness on his behalf like the bitterness for a firstborn son. When that day comes, there will be great mourning in Yerushalayim, mourning like that for Hadad-Rimmon in the Megiddo Valley. Then the land will mourn, each family by itself - the family of the house of David by itself, and their wives by themselves; the family of the house of Natan by itself, and their wives by themselves; the family of the house of Levi by itself, and their wives by themselves; the family of the Shim'i by itself, and their wives by themselves; all the remaining families, each by itself, and their wives by themselves." Response to Charles P.'s Wonderful Question

"I often wonder about the souls of the unborn, and yet-to-be conceived, in the rapture.

"How do souls work? Is there a finite number of souls? How many souls will there be, from start to finish?

"If the rapture comes today, what of all the souls the souls that could have been here, had the rapture came tomorrow instead?

"What about pregnant women, how will their unborn children be judged; what if the mother had not accepted Christ, will the child suffer for the mistake of the parent?

"I hope the rapture comes in my lifetime, just so I can get some answers! :P"


To begin, the yet-to-be conceived won't be conceived until after the Tribulation. There are references to children in the Millennial Kingdom in Tanakh. I sadly don't have these references off hand or memorized, however. When I find them again sometime (if the Rapture doesn't come before I can find them again), I'll (G-d willing) post them in another entry.


As for unborn children, they-- since they haven't reached the age of accountability-- will, sadly for the mothers who are unsaved, be taken straight out of the womb and raptured in Heaven while the unsaved mothers are left behind and (in regards to their unborn children) childless. As far as Tanakh indicates, the soul isn't even created until during or after conception; so as I said, any yet-to-be-created souls will be created after the Tribulation whereas already-created souls will be (with the bodies that hold them) be raptured.
