Part Nine Of My Stage32 Submission

As I stated, I mean no disrespect when I call Reverend Klein "Reverend" as opposed to "Rabbi"--I'm simply following Matthew 23:8-10. Besides, on Halakhah.com (where you can take a peek at what the Chernetskis followed even to some extent while they were Anusim), a so-called rabbi is addressed as "The Very Rev. The Chief Rabbi Dr. J. H. Hertz". Another is addressed as " Rev. Dr. Israel W. Slotki", and another "Rev. Dr. Abraham Cohen".

By the same token, I take issue with Roman, Byzantine, and other Catholic--including English Catholic (Anglican, Episcopalian)--priests being called "Father". By the way, because of the Chernetskis--also the "Czarnieckis" and "Czarneckis"--among others, I was raised as an English Catholic. As I alluded to before, I didn't know that I am Jewish for a long time--and the Czarneckis intended to keep the situation that way. I was told that we are Polish-Lithuanian Catholics descended from Stefan (who Granduncle mistakenly called "Antoni") Czarniecki, and I assumed that Great-Grandma Czarnecki was the Lithuanian.

Never did that she was a Jewish-Slovakian American occur to me, and that Great-Great-Grandma Czarnecki opposed Great-Granddad's marriage to the then Mary Theresa Trudniak didn't occur to me, either. I was always told that Anthony Czarnecki came over here as a lone Polish immigrant, married Mary M. Trudnak, worked as a coal miner, served in the Korean War, got Black Lung because of his work in the coal mines, and died when Dad was 12--in 1972.

The family research brought that the Andrulewicz-Danilowicz-Chernetski family ever existed, had some who did off of the derech--because, to be fair and as I learned years later, Roman Catholicism and its offshoots (such as Byzantine and English Catholicism) are cults--, came to America, and lived as Anusim--in other words, as the old sayings go, I can't make those kind of situations up and truth is stranger than fiction.

By the way, as I write this, I--im yirtzeh HaShem (G-d wiling)--am going to bed at 12:00 AM--I might be coming down with something. Incidentally enough--incidental to that I'm coming down with something, anyway--, one of Great-Granddad's sisters--who I didn't even know existed, let alone was born over here--died of something at the age of 16.

Also by the way, none of Great-Granddad's sisters were named "Mary", "Maria", or even "Miriam"--with which Julian and Alexandria Czarnecki could have gotten away with naming one of their daughters but for (as Reverend Klein stated about me admitting that I'm Messianic) "out[ing] [them]sel[ves]" as Jews--because Miriam is obviously a very-Jewish name, and (as most people know) the original name of Mary the mother of Jesus, for whom my aunt Mary (named after her grandmothers) was not named, by the way.

By the way, Reverend Klein, two questions: when did admitting that I'm Messianic become like one coming out of the closet (ironically enough, since Reconstructionists treat homosexuals better than they treat Messianic Jews)? Also--if you're reading this, anyway--, do Hebrew Christians like myself look like we're not Jewish--regardless of what you imply and what the mainstream denominations of Judaism say? I don't know about what you know, Reverend Klein; but I know that even my Anusi ancestors kept their Jewish identity when they puported to believe in a Jewish man as the Messiah--how much more Jewish am I for actually believing in Jewish man as the Messiah, and not because proselytizers came after me and convinced me to at least pretend that I am a Christian?

Part Eight Of My Stage32 Submission

In an open letter to my Non-Messianic Jewish friends, I wrote, "I need to honestly disclose that I am a Patrilineal Jew and non-proselytizing Messianic Jew who considers Jews as primarily part of an ethnic group and secondarily part of religious groups (including Non-Messianic Jewish groups). On that note, I believe that Jews like myself--that is, Messianic Jews--remain Jews and believe that only G-d may lead a Jew to be a Messianic Jew. Messianic Jews such as myself, Jews for Jesus, and Chosen People Ministries are not individual Jews and Jewish groups who intend to forcibly attempt to convert fellow Jews to believe in a Mashiach, let alone in the Biblical and historical Jesus of Nazareth as Mashiach--the proselytizers are those such as the Pablo de Santa Marias, Nicolas Donins, and Pablo Christianis within the Messianic Jewish community."

As I made clear to Reverend ("Rabbi") Jason Klein--and having written the open letter after having a conversation with him (since I felt that Reverend Klein is only of the many who needs to know where I stand, and I had disclosed my ethnic and religious identity to a few others besides him prior to writing the open letter)--, I do not want to put anyone or myself be put in the kind of position that the Czarneckis were put in.

As I wrote in Part Two,  I remembered when my dad used to call me "Nicole Charnetski", had already come across The Complete Jewish Bible by 2006, and was getting into the Jewish roots of my Christian faith. I had also typed in "jewsforjesus.com" or something like that for (what I thought was) a joke, and so began my journey into finding out that my great-granddad Anthony Czarnecki--if nobody else, or at least he (since I at the time, as far as I remember, wasn't really or at all thinking about if anyone else)--was Jewish.

What I found out was that the so-called Anthony John Czarnecki was born a Chernetski in Tsuman, Volyns'ka Oblast, Ukraine--what was then Cuman, Luck, Wolyn, Ukranian-Polish Russia. His mother, the so-called Alexandria Alice Andrulewicz, was on her way to visit her cousin Vil'gel'm Andrulevich in Buzhanka, Zvenigorodka, Kiev, Ukranian Russia. He was born on October 24, 1904 either en route to or from his cousin Vil'gel'm's home (Diasporan home, anyway--since, for all Jews and whether or not a Jew acknowledges that, Israel is the home of homes for Jews).

As for the Andrulewicz (Andrulevich) family, they lived in--among other places--Buzhanka and Bose, Sejny, Suwalki Gubernia, Polish Russia--now Buzhanka, Cherkas'ka Oblast, Ukraine and Bose, Sejny, Podlaskie, Poland. Cousin Vil'gelm was part of the Buzhanka group, and Alexandria--who claimed to be born Aleksjondria Alicja Andrulewiczowna--was part of the Bose group. Alexandria, like her husband--who claimed to be born Julian Jan "Feliks" Czarniecki--gave his parents, gave her parents the names "Antoni" and "Katarzyna".

As for the so-called Julian John "Felix" Czarnecki, he was born in Lipsk nad Biebrza--where JewishGen acknowledges that Jews lived and a Jewish community stood--to a Chernetski and a Danilowiczowna--the Chernetski being born of a Chernetski and Laczinska, the Danilowiczowna being supposedly born of an Aleksjondria Alicja Andrulewiczowna--since, to be fair, both Alexandria Alice Czarnecki Dombroski (Anthony Czarnecki's second-oldest sister) and Alexandria Alice Chernetski (a Chernetski cousin) both bore that name, and Ashkenazic Jews do have a custom of naming children for deceased relatives. By the way, Alexandria Alice Andrulewicz Czarnecki did list her estranged mother-in-law as her closest relative back in her native--rather, her Diasporan--country, and Numbers 36 does command us Jews to marry our cousins--so what does that tell you?

Were "Katarzyna" Chernetska not really Alexandria's closest relative back in Poland, she would not have been listed. Especially after getting kicked off of the Chernetski family farm in Lipsk for becoming Anusim because of and during the pogroms, Alexandria would not have dared to list a relative to whom she no blood connection and with whom she would have no correspondence when she immigrated to and lived in America.

Once Alexandria, Julian, and Anthony became Anusim--as Granduncle Tony wrote in an e-mail to me (although he denies our being Jewish because of being--and I know that he's--damned afraid of his older brother Jack):

"The move from Poland was permanent.  There was never any talk of returning.  Not even for a visit.  After moving to Sugar Notch the family flourished economically.  Julian & Alexandria eventually owned houses at 203, 205, and 207 Freed Street.  They lived in 207 and sold 205 to Son, Joseph and 203 to Son, Anthony(great grandpop).  All the boys worked at first in coal mine related jobs.

"I never seen nor did anyone mention anything special brought from Poland.  A friend from Sugar Notch, Mrs. Bertha Wawrzyn, visited Poland every few years to see her family and would visit the family while there.  All she ever brought back were photos that she took of the Polish Czarnecki's (see earlier comments).

"There was very little discussion of the Polish life and family.  Usually, when there was, it was a brief mention of the farm that was left behind.  There did not seem to be any regrets about leaving for a better life.  After all , they settled among Polish, Slavic, Hungarian, Lithuanian, and Ukrainian people just like themselves.  Similar language, similar customs, similar faces, houses, churches, etc.  But life was much better than on the farm.  They were quite happy in America and much better off.  The motherland, Poland, was far off and just a memory, not to be forgotten but no regrets for leaving either.

"Periodically a church pastor would run a heritage trip back to Poland for a group.  Very few of those who immigrated would return.  Occasionally someone "in the family" in America would join a relative for the return trip, Usually meeting the Polish or Slovak relatives for the first time and occasionally maintaining a letter writing relationship afterwards.  This DID NOT happen in our family.

"There was not very much correspondence with the Polish family.  Only an infrequent letter.  There were no exchanges other than through the Polish Church which would have clothing drives and send clothes to Poland in general, but not to specific family members.  Bertha's photos which came after the trips were the only contact until they asked for the deed to be changed in the mid 1960's.

"There was no special items from Poland that were kept by the family that I know of.  They came with little and acquired everything they had in America.  Over the years all traces of Poland disappeared.  They were now AMERICANS and wanted to be known as such.  The Polish heritage was maintained through Church and their friends in the community."

Shiva was sat, pictures (as Granduncle Tony explained) were passed around and thrown away, and we're still either Anusim or so-called meshuadim to this day--and I darned-well know that Reverend Klein considers me a meshumadah, although he's too polite to state what he thinks that way. Meanwhile, Reverend Klein did make clear that he does not consider Hebrew Christians, Jews For Jesus, etc. to be Jews--since, as he explained (and as I know), the denominations of Mainstream Judaism do not consider Messianic Jews to be Jews.

By the way, Reverend Klein did use "havoc" in reference to what he believes that Jews For Jesus does in regards to the Jewish community--at least the Non-Messianic Jewish community. This prompted me to write, "I do not believe that groups such as Jews For Jesus and Chosen People Ministries cause any havoc or tsores against the Jewish community. As I've written, " Jews for Jesus does not intend to "induce someone to convert to one's faith" or "recruit someone to join one's party, institution, or cause"-- that is not up to them." 1 Corinthians 3:5-7 explains the position of Messianic Jewish (Hebrew Christian, Jewish Christian) groups."

I also once wrote, "The Inquisitors, the pogromists, etc.--they proselytized." By the way, as I've implied, Great-Granddad Czarnecki and his parents could attest to that. Also by the way, I'm not being flip in not calling Reverend Klein "Rabbi"--Matthew 23:8-10 commands that I call nobody but Jesus "Rabbi".

I didn't scan the original one in well at all. Nonetheless, the picture is of Andy and Julia Fosko Rusnak in the 1940s.

Part Six of My Stage32 Submission

Also known as glossy-page Part Two
Incidentally, Dad had a broken collarbone from a fall from a highchair.
Left to right: Pop-Pop (John "Jack" Gregory Czarnecki), Granduncle James "Jim" Julian Czarnecki, Great-Grandma (nee Mary Theresa Trudniak) Czarnecki, Aunt Mary, Great-Granddad and Dad, and Granduncle Francis Anthony "Red" Czarnecki (1920-1985). This is from Easter 1963. By the way, I'll explain where the names came from later--they're all family or otherwise-significant names--and you can guess where Granduncle Jim's middle name came from.

"Doesn't seem too upset at his [Grandfather Czarnecki]". Dad understandably did not like his granddad Anthony Czarnecki--who became like his mother, Alexandria Alice Andrulewicz Czarnecki. To scan in the picture and leave out that certain part of the caption means that Dad must still (so to speak) have a raw nerve hit about who his granddad really was and how he committed suicide.
Dad's baptism in 1960. This is the first picture that I ever saw of Great-Granddad Anthony Czarnecki and was taken aback by how much he looked like Pop-Pop.

Part Four of My Stage32 Submission

Since I do watch my Feedjit stats, and someone asked (maybe one of the Wojnars, though they'd be in Miami as far as I know), I'll answer a question:

Vero Beach, Florida arrived from google.com on "The Nicole Factor" by searching for is gaydos a jewish name.
21:13:08 -- 1 hour 43 mins ago

Yes, "Gaydos" can be a Jewish name--look on JewishGen, Yad Vashem, etc.. In our case, Mihal Gajdosz was a Jew--his parents were Anusim (or at least he was the Anusi son of) Jan and Maria Anna Homova Gajdosz, and his brothers were Gyorgy and Paul. He also plays into Great-Grandma Gaydos' games, by the way--anyone who followed my original Stage32 writer-qualifier submission can see how I was trying to tie him, his wife (my great-great-grandma), and his daughter-in-law into current events (e.g., "Hate In the Heartland").

In other words, that "Geraldo At Large" special gave me an idea of what my great-great-grandparents faced back then--and thus why they played the kinds of games that they played. However, he (Mihal Gajdosz) didn't until he got involved with Katarina Szuanna Uszinskyova--a maven at game playing (By the way, if there is a feminine form of "maven", I can't find it or figure it out at present--you can see what my Anusi relatives, including the Gajdoszes, didn't pass on to me.).

To clarify, Great-Great-Granddad Gajdosz (later "Gajdos" and "Gaydos") was honest on his records (at least as far as an Anusi can or will be honest, as far as I recall) until he married Katherine Susan Ushinsky ("Keyde Usziansky"). Then came the Census records, etc. with wrong information regarding names, birthdates, etc.--and no attempt to correct them.

As far as what they faced (e.g., the Don Blacks of back then), they played the games that they played to avoid their day's Don Blacks. As I stated, Great-Great-Granddad Gaydos was for a time honest at least as far as an Anusi can or will be honest--and that means that he didn't openly state that he was a Jew.

As I also stated, Katherine Susan Ushinsky Gaydos was the maven who influenced his further dishonesty. As I explained, they played the games that they played to avoid their day's Don Blacks--and she did her gameplaying particularly craftily. In fact, I could not find her Ellis Island record for a long time because of this--but in fact, she had a Philadelphia port record, and (from Ancestry.com itself), this is what it looks like  (and thus also explains why she stated that her mom was born "Anna Hazlinsky"):

Name:Maria Uscianski
[Katarina Maria Uscianski]
Arrival Date:9 May 1894
Age:18 Years
Estimated Birth Year:abt 1876
Gender:Female
Port of Departure:Liverpool, England
Ship Name:Indiana
Port of Arrival:Philadelphia, Pennsylvania
Friend's Name:Marion Hazlinski
Last Residence:Taros
Microfilm Roll Number:T840_20

By the way, guess who put "Katarina Maria" as the correction until I saw the 1940 Census record and immediately connected "S." to that she had a daughter named Susan?

Name:Catherine S Gaydos
Age:67
Estimated Birth Year:abt 1873
Gender:Female
Race:White
Birthplace:Czechoslovakia
Marital Status:Widowed
Relation to Head of House:Head

House Number:383

Inferred Residence in 1935:Roaringcreek, Columbia, Pennsylvania
Residence in 1935:Same Place
Citizenship:Naturalized
Sheet Number:10B
Number of Household in Order of Visitation:99
Neighbors:View others on page
Household Members:

Catherine S Gaydos67
Andrew J Gaydos33

By the way, Ancestry.com took "Saros" in fancy writing as "Taros"--I can't blame Great-Great-Grandma for that. Go see the original images if you need to see them--I have nothing to hide; I just don't feel like saving the images onto my computer when Ancestry.com could allow me to copy and paste the image of the records.

Also by the way, this ties into why Michael Gaydos, Jr. (Great-Granddad Gaydos) married game-player Mary Rusnak Gaydos. You hopefully see why he now married her--although he, bravely enough during the cold war, admitted "We're Russian." Hang on to his "We're Russian." admission, because that implied stand for Soviet (and other) Jews is going to be important.

I Have a Choice About My Jewishness, And...

I can, at my age and in my current circumstances, no longer use ignorance as an excuse. To be fair to myself and even others, I acknowledge that I was once at ages at which, and in circumstances in which, I was not even influenced--let alone provoked--to ask whether or not I'm Jewish. But now that I'm old enough and in other circumstances, I have a few choices regarding my Jewishness--none of which include ignorance or unknowing of my Jewishness, or fumigation of my DNA. Among the choices are:

  1. Denying that I'm Jewish. I can easily fall back on the cockamamie Fosko-Rusnak story that we're Czechoslovakian Byzantine Catholics, and the Czarnecki story that we're Polish-Lithuanian Roman Catholics who descended from lone immigrant Anthony Czarniecki and his great-whatever-granddad Stefan Czarniecki.
  2. Otherwise going Anusit (Crypto Jewish).
  3. Denying that Jewishness is an ethnic identity. Why not fall back on the excuse that Jewishness is a religious identity as opposed to an ethnic one?
  4. Pretending that because I believe in Jesus (Yeshua), I'm no longer an ethnic Jew--I somehow became an ethnic gentile by believing in the Jewish Messiah.
  5. Pretending that because my mom is (as far as I know) a gentile, I am not ethnically Jewish, anyway--in other words, denying that my Jewish dad had any part in my creation.
  6. Becoming a Self-Hating Jew.
  7. Actually using ignorance as an excuse (although, as I said, I really can't at my age and in my circumstances--besides, people would see right through my supposed ignorance).
  8. Not caring that I'm Jewish, anyway--using the "There is neither Jew nor gentile...", "We're all one in Christ.", "What does it matter?" interpretation of Galatians 3:28 that my mom uses.
  9. Converting ("returning" or becoming a "gerah tzedekah" in the case of converting) to Non-Messianic Judaism (depending how one would view my conversion).
  10. Proudly identifying as a Patrilineal and Messianic Jew (Jewish Christian).
I choose Choice #10: "Proudly identifying as a Patrilineal and Messianic Jew (Jewish Christian)." I'll break down why I didn't choose the other reasons later.

Why Russian Jews And Jews Like Myself Are Perhaps Not Buriable In Israel

Many of those Former Soviet nationals are Jews but are not considered as such by the Orthodox Pharisees--either because they're Karaites, Messianic Jews (Jewish Christians), or something else altogether; Patrilineal Jews or not Matrilineally or otherwise Jewish enough. I come from that very legacy--I am a Jewish Christian but can't even look to bury myself and reinter certain relatives in Israel because we were Ashkenazim Anusim and/or descendants thereof. Prime example: my great-granduncle Bernie--the only reason that he can't be reinterred in Israel is because his parents lived as Crypto Jews (Anusim) in Poland during the pogroms and America when their non-converted family kicked them off of the family farm. Otherwise, with no direct descendants or anyone else claiming to be his next of kin, who would object to me taking my Anusi great-granddad's brother to the land that my great-great-grandparents yearned for?

Let's See...

  1. I observed my Blog Shabbat for this week yesterday.
  2. I'm changing my Blogger habits--sort of. For certain people (at least those who I'm friendly and/or reconciled with), I won't say and do certain things. As for the people that I don't like, I'm just not giving you the time of day and I'm letting you fall into your own trap unless I absolutely have to expose you--e.g., Toby Keith, Tiki Barber and Traci Lynn Johnson Barber. As for Toby Keith--as I've blogged before--, the man had gallbladder surgery and now has time to think and reflect--so, I wish the man well and hopes that he uses his time out to get his priorities in order. As for Tiki and Traci Lynn Johnson Barber; they're now married and the ones who are going to have to deal with what they've done if and when their marriage goes the way that Tiki Barber's first marriage did. As for who they're friends with and who's friends with them, I can do nothing about that. Besides, I have people in my own life for whom some people would like at me like I'm Tiki or Traci Johnson Barber.
  3. I'm given up on holding family, friends, etc. accountable in real life as well--not that I'm perfect, but you'll fall into whatever traps of your own that you've set up. As I did say in the open letter and the follow up (which few to none bothered to read), though (and both of which I ended up removing partly because so few people read the follow up); you can forget me sharing family pictures--after all, if I have to ask you to post an image while you're posting the same kinds of images (e.g., of yourself and of others who you've asked me not to post pictures of, all while you're posting pictures of yourself and even of them), you can perhaps even forget my taking of pictures of you. I'm not playing your hypocritical games anymore, and you'll miss of a heck of a lot of memories. By the way, this isn't everyone in the family--this is only those few with (so to speak) sticks up their butt about what I do and have a "G-d forbid that you do it, but I can do whatever I want" attitude. To the ones who aren't hypocritical and don't mind picture taking and sharing, you'll always be allowed to see my photos.
  4. For some reason, my Google Chrome broswer and Wireless Mouse are going AWOL, and my Internet Explorer can be a bit slow.

I could go on, but few to none of you will probably give a darn.

Repost: What Glamour? From PolishForums.com

The naysayers like jon357 and Magdalena (who, for whatever reason, want me to continue to fall for Dad's and Pop-Pop's romanticized narrative about Great-Granddad) are the ones who really get my goat. I myself was shocked by the truth--never did I dream that Great-Granddad Czarnecki was born a Chernetski in Tsuman, Ukraine (then CumaÅ„ in then-WoÅ‚yn, Ukraine-Poland Russia) while his dad was back home in Lipsk nad BiebrzÄ… or Somovo(? So the record says, but would he really have been all the way in Somovo, far from Lipsk; and not, say, Szumowo or Shamovo?)? He was born while his mom may have been making a Rosh Hodesh visit to a cousin, Vil'gel'm Andrulevich, in Buzhanka in the Kiev, Ukraine region.

The story gets even less glamorous. There is nothing glamorous about converting to Catholicism to fool the Russians into thinking that you finally believe in Jesus as the Jewish Messiah--especially when your family sits shiva for you because you did so. As an e-mail from my Granduncle Tony alludes to (although the poor man still denies that we're Jewish--and that's another discussion. Anyway):

I never seen nor did anyone mention anything special brought from Poland. A friend from Sugar Notch, Mrs. Bertha Wawrzyn, visited Poland every few years to see her family and would visit the family while there. All she ever brought back were photos that she took of the Polish Czarnecki's (see earlier comments).

There was very little discussion of the Polish life and family.

Periodically a church pastor would run a heritage trip back to Poland for a group. Very few of those who immigrated would return. Occasionally someone "in the family" in America would join a relative for the return trip, Usually meeting the Polish or Slovak relatives for the first time and occasionally maintaining a letter writing relationship afterwards. This DID NOT happen in our family.

There was not very much correspondence with the Polish family. Only an infrequent letter. There were no exchanges other than through the Polish Church which would have clothing drives and send clothes to Poland in general, but not to specific family members. Bertha's photos which came after the trips were the only contact until they asked for the deed to be changed in the mid 1960's.

Once the conversion happened and the shiva was sat, that was it "until they asked for the deed to be changed in the mid 1960's"; with the Holocaust being that dark interim in regards to any contact even with Bertha Wawrzyn--and three Czarnieckis, perhaps cousins, are listed on JewishGen as having been Holocaust victims from BiaÅ‚ystok:

What glamour would there be in that for my great-granddad "Antoni" and his parents "Julian" and "Alexandria" (and they gave both sets of his grandparents the names "Antoni" and "Katarzyna"--why that didn't ring bells or raise flags for me at first, I don't know.)? What glamour was there to be had for living as Crypto-Jewish Catholics in Sugar Notch, Pennsylvania to escape WASP (White, Anglo-Saxon Protestant) and WEC (White, European Catholic) Anti Semitism? What glamour was in for "Antoni" (later "Anthony") to grow up to become a man like his "holy terror", "tough cookie" mom (who abused his drunkard dad, her drunkard husband), and then commit suicide once he had time to reflect on just what he became? What glamour?

So, my dad and granddad paint this romanticized picture of a lone Polish immigrant who served in Korea and died of Black Lung in 1972, which is far from the Anthony Czarnecki ne G-d-knows-who Chernetski that he was.

Post After A Busy Day: Is Greg Gutfeld Really Jewish?

Undeniably yes. Even though he is a raised-Catholic agnostic, he's still ethnically Jewish and has an Ashkenazic Jewish surname--German/Yiddish "good field". To make a long theological discussion short and use Greg Gutfeld as a case in point, as well as to quickly compare him to case-in-point me, one can be an ethnic Jew and not considered Jewish--whether or not he or she is actually religious Jewish. By the way, Anusi (Crypto Jewish) families can go back at least a century to even the Dark Ages.

Case in point, you have Catholic Greg Gutfeld who has said that he is not Jewish; and whether that's ignorance or denial on his part, I don't know. But Bill O'Reilly wished him a "Happy Hanukkah" once, and that's when he brought it up. Greg Gutfeld could well (and understandably) be an Anusi or an in-the-dark descendant of Anusim--or maybe he sadly doesn't see "Jewish" as an ethnic label (or maybe he does and is in denial about it).

Another case in point, my self-loathing dad and his parents. Same thing as Greg Gutfeld (assuming that Greg Gutfeld knows better and is an Anusi)--raised Catholic, descendants of Anusim, in loathable and loathing denial that they're Jewish, and considering "Jewish" as a religious--not an ethnic--label.

I hope that, that address a question that I've seen implied or explicitly come up in my FeedJit and Blogger stats.

I Observed My Blog Shabbat Yesterday...

I was busy with genealogy. I was trying to figure out in particular whether the Trudniaks are Crypto Jews--I think that they are. I think that whoever submitted the Ancestral File erroneously assumed that Rozina Trudnyaková and Martin Trudnyak, her dad, were born in Jablunka as opposed to Jablonka, Nowy Targ, just because her husband, Tomas, was. Besides, all the research that I've done places the Trudnyaks (Trudniaks/Trudnaks) in Hungary, Slovakia, and Poland--not Moravia or the rest of the Czech Republic.

Also--and this the main point--Mihal Trudniak (my great-great-granddad) married a Jew, Anna Monková Trudniak, of Lapsze Nizne; and Jews--with few exceptions--did not marry gentiles back then, and vice versa.

What Glamour?

Proof Of Chauvinism In Our Society Re Kristen Stewart

According to Fox News, people are even threatening to murder Kristen Stewart (and all this after innocent people were murdered in Aurora, Colorado last week!). Who's blaming the married-with-children, in-a-higher-position (director-to-the-actor), older Rupert Sanders? Even Liberty Ross Sanders is blaming Kristen Stewart. Our society patriarchally, in a bad way, refuses to recognize that "To whom much is given, much is required."

Here (as my sister noted, by the way) is an older man taking advantage of a woman who's roughly half his age, and old enough to be her dad at that (He's 41; she's 22). Here is a married man pursuing a single woman, and cheating on his wife and kids in pursuing any (let alone a single-but-not-available--but still single) woman; and here is a director pursuing an actress.

Did true Christianity (even all those years ago, and throughout the ages when it has resurrected) and the feminist movement do nothing for society? Jesus, for example, forgave the adulterous woman and the Samaritan at the well, while He constantly lambasted the hypocritical Pharisees. Much later on, He brought forth even two Non-Messianic Jewish women to liberate women--Gloria Steinem and Betty Friedan.

So if Jesus brought forth even Gloria Steinem and Betty Friedan to liberate women--even modern-day Samaritans at wells and adulterous women--, why can't we forgive Kristen Stewart? Furthermore, we do we judge her and not the higher-up Rupert Sanders all the more so?

I'd Appreciate If Someone Could Translate the Following For Me...

ul. Mickiewicza 1, 16-400 Suwałki
parter budynku
Polska

Attn: Elżbieta Giedrojć

Director Giedrojć:
I inquire of the SuwaÅ‚ki Register Office regarding information on my family. My family was Jewish before my great-great-grandparents converted to Catholicism in or after 1904. Therefore, I have no true birth and paternity information on even my great-great-grandparents.

For example (and I have attached copies of certain records for your reference per what I am explaining), my great-great-granddad claimed to be Julian John “Felix” Czarnecki né Julian Jan “Feliks” Czarniecki, and the son of Antoni Czarniecki and Katarzyna née DaniÅ‚owiczówna. He specifically claimed to be born once on December 24, 1876; and another time on December 24, 1877. However, in a 1920 United States Census Record, he revealed his surname to be “Chernetski”. He also was born or at least made his childhood residence his family’s farm in Lipsk nad BiebrzÄ….

His wife (my great-great-grandmother), Alexandria Alice Andrulewicz Czarnecki, claimed to have been born on June 26, 1882 in Bose, Sejny Uyezd, SuwaÅ‚ki Gubernia. She claimed to be born Aleksjondria Alicja Andrulewiczówna and the daughter of Antoni Andrulewicz and Katarzyna née Margiewiczówna. Yet, her son (my great-granddad) Anthony John Czarnecki, Sr. was (rather, at least she claimed that he was) born in CumaÅ„, WoÅ‚yÅ„. She also had a cousin, Vil’gel’m Andrulevich, in Buzhanka, Zvenigorodka Uyzed, Kiev Gubernia.

Speaking of my great-granddad, his parents claimed him to be born conversely in Cumań, Wołyń and mainland Poland. They claimed him to be born Antoni Jan Czarniecki on October 23, 1904 and October 24, 1904. He immigrated to Sugar Notch, Luzerne County, Pennsylvania, United States with his mother in May 1908.

As I stated, I have attached copies of certain records for your reference per what I am explaining. I hope that you can provide me with the correct information about my great-granddad, his parents, and his grandparents. I also hope—if I may request—that you can provide me with as many records containing the information as possible. In particular, I am interested in specific records such as their birth, baptism, circumcision (b’rit milah), confirmation, bar- and bat-mitzvah, and death certificates and records.

Thank you for your time and assistance.

Sincerely,

Nicole Czarnecki

Why I Disagree With The Following Proverb

"The kind of ancestors you have is not as important as the ones your children have." Amish Proverb, as seen on Twitter.

My take: the kind of ancestors whom you have is as important as the ones that your descendants have; because if you don't understand your ancestors to some extent, you're not going to learn from and be better than them--after all, "You're only as good as your parents" (as my friend Jim states) and "Those who do not learn from history are destined to repeat it."

Repost With Updates: Do I Or Anyone Else Besides Toby Keith Fans and Insiders Care If Toby Keith Is Cheating?

While allegations don't just come out of nowhere and do need to be reported on, all I care is that a celebrity who has a wife and other family (including grandchildren) is possibly exploiting his fame for doing wrong. Also, stories sometimes get kiboshed or otherwise not picked up because the media and others have their favorites--e.g., RFK and Mel Gibson. For all these people alleging about Toby Keith, there may come a day when they state about him what Winona Ryder stated about Mel Gibson: "No one believed me!"

By the way, I acknowledge that there may just be some mean people making allegations about Toby Keith. But all that even most mean people want to do is to ask legitimate questions and hold celebrities accountable, even if their motives aren't pure. Incidentally, I myself used to like Toby Keith and would hope that he isn't cheating on Tricia Covel.

All I'm saying is that while I don't care but for being in the public, I still care that a celebrity is using his platform to do wrong if he or she is doing wrong. Besides, I don't want people giving any money or spotlight to any celebrity if he or she is committing adultery. Also, I want a distraction from this Anti-Semitic allegation that the agnostic, British (English or Scots-Irish)-American James Holmes is remotely Jewish:

Do I Or Anyone Else Besides Toby Keith Fans and Insiders Care If Toby Keith Is Cheating?
The answer is "Yes and no." "Yes" because adultery is wrong, especially when "to whom much is given, much is required." The "no" comes in when one considers that Toby Keith's cheating (if he does cheat) doesn't affect his or her life one or another way (unless, as aforementioned, he or she is a Toby Keith fan or insider--e.g., Tricia Covel). But the allegation is out there and needs to be reported on.

Repost With Updates: Allegations Don't Just Come Out of Nowhere...

I have updated the following post to put emphasis on key points. I also want to add, by the way, that celebrities are not beyond accountability and that evil people include those who would allege that James Holmes is Jewish just because he is a serial murderer. Mr. Holmes listed himself as agnostic, by the way. Anyway, to the post:

In terms of, for example, allegations against Toby Keith, people don't just wake up one day and say to themselves, "I'm going to claim that Toby Keith's a _____." You can fill in the blank with whatever you want; but in terms of the allegations that Toby Keith's an abuser of some kind, a cheater, or even an Anti Semite, those kind of serious allegations don't come out of nowhere. For two of the aforementioned allegations, by the way, even I was able to find evidence of those claims.

As for claims like those of Casey Anthony, there are evil people like Casey Anthony who will take real-life situations (be they general or specific) and claim that they have experienced them. For example, Casey Anthony took April Whalen's story about April's son accidentally drowning and claimed that it was her own story regarding what happened to Caylee. She also knew that she could get sympathy by falsely claiming that the unknown dad of Caylee was actually the (as she claimed) incestuous pedophile George Anthony, since real victims of sexual abuse (at least when they come forward and are believed) get the sympathy that they deserve.

You can be a Toby Keith "Warrior" (troll) or pro-Casey Anthony, but I and others do not just (so to speak) blow serious claims out of our buttholes; but those of us (like Johns Island, who just arrived on my blog by searching "toby keith cheating") who ask legitimate questions and assert legitimate allegations don't, as I said, don't just blow these things out of our buttholes.

Now Back To My Regularly-Scheduled Blogging....

We've identified Toby Keith's alleged mistress, Nicole Smith. We also see that Toby Keith may be an Anti Semite as well as an adulterer. So, what's next for Toby Keith? Well, if he has any luck (or lack thereof), he'll perhaps eclipse Mel Gibson and Charlie Sheen as Anti Semitic and adulterous. I'm just waiting for TMZ or someone to confirm or deny that Toby Keith is the Mel Gibson or Charlie Sheen of country music--Toby Keith needs a swift hit in the groin (and not in the way that he likes at all).
