Instead of interviewing the "Mob Wives" who are in denial or even proud of their shady family history, Geraldo could interview people like me who don't extol our shady backgrounds, but rather expose them and laud the redeemable parts of them. For example, I could easily sit down and tell Geraldo about the Anusi, immigrant son of Julian and Alexandria Czarnecki who-- born a Jewish Chernetski in Russia Poland-- would be a great example of a testimony to why we need the DREAM Act and for the 14th Amendment not to be interpreted in Jan Brewer's way. The later-called "Anthony John, Sr." Czarnecki would also be a great testimony to how not to abuse freedoms and be someone that you're not-- keep in mind that being an abusive husband and dad who took after his mother (who herself was an abusive wife and mother), and pretending to be a gentile, Polish-American Catholic when you're a Jewish survivor of the pogroms gets one nowhere (except maybe to commit suicide; which Great-Granddad did after he probably had time to reflect on his life while he sat back in Sugar Notch, after having lost a job in New York because of a job-related accident that left him without three toes and a substantial part of his right leg to use).
Also, instead of interviewing the Salahis, sit down with my Aunt Mary for once. Here's a real testament of faith: the daughter of that IRS Agent who helped bring Nixon down; she grew up in a meshuga, faithless home where neither her dad (the IRS Agent who took after his dad) nor her mom (an Anusit daughter of the American kapo Mary Rusnak Gaydos) believed in Jesus as their Messiah, though they pretended to. Awfully abused by her parents; she went on to marry the later-Ex Special Agent Dale Miskell, who himself would be just as abusive-- she (so to speak, and as the saying goes) married her dad. After losing a child (Ryan Charles Miskell), she went on to find the faith that has sustained her ever since-- especially as she goes through a real horrible divorce, and not one conjured up for publicity as the Salahis have conjured theirs.
Geraldo, get away from acting like and appeasing your immature 37-year-old wife, and be the veteran journalist and advocate of social responsibility and changing lives that you once were.
